DP x DC Prompt: "City of Ghosts"
Gotham is a part of the Infinite Realms.
It's a bit of a mythical place really. Ghosts don't go there, and Gotham ghosts don't venture out of their city haunt. Everyone in the Infinite Realms knows that Gotham is a lawless place. They avoid it like the plague. Skulker doesn't hunt there. Walker ignores all the violations of the rules and laws of the Infinite Realms that happen within city limits. Pariah Dark didn't touch that area with a ten-foot pole, in spite of being king of everything within the Infinite Realms. Even Dan hadn't bothered with that place in his own timeline, its inhabitants too twisted and feral for him to fight (he had scars from when he fought some fucked up guy with a shadowcore that somehow powered bright flaming swords bc what's the logic in that?). Gotham is its own brand of crazy not even the bravest and most power-hungry ghosts touched.
Unfortunately, nobody thought to tell Danny this.
Now, you can go so many ways with this. Danny could catch the attention by everyone's favourite serial adopter who sees a baby ghost in need of training and make him a ghost-bat. You can have shipping fics between Danny and any of the bats. You can have Gotham's insane rogues set their sights on the new halfa and enter Amity Park through the portal.
I'm a ho for Jason Todd and I love to ship him with just about anyone, so what if when Danny enters Gotham, he meets a ghost boy by the name Robin, who talks about reading books and protecting people and who saves Danny from a mob of feral city ghosts and is just generally really cute and oh shit, Danny might have a crush.
And then Robin's existence is wiped away by a crazy clown who tortures the boy and shatters his core into so many shards he fades away, and Danny believes the love of his life death is truly gone
Jason's resurrection would be fascinating to explore bc what kind of bullshit could damage a core so beyond repair and what cosmic fuckery actually pulls all those shards back together? (my shipping heart says "Danny accepting the crown caused a power surge and brought Jason back" for drama)
Or maybe Red Hood already exists, and you can pair him with Dan, do an enemies-to-lovers kinda fic, where they were at each other's throat in the initial timeline, but end up falling for each other in the second timeline
Or explore the first timeline and write a tragedy in which Jason has to watch how his partner gets more twisted and warped as time goes on and ends up becoming his enemy
Just Gotham as a ghost town. Literally.
(I may be hyperfixating on this a little at the moment)

A Game of Thrones, Catelyn IV
Visenya’s Hill was crowned by the Great Sept of Baelor with its seven crystal towers.
Across the city on the hill of Rhaenys stood the blackened walls of the Dragonpit, its huge dome collapsing into ruin, its bronze doors closed now for a century.
The Street of the Sisters ran between them, straight as an arrow. The city walls rose in the distance, high and strong.
And above it all, frowning down from Aegon’s high hill, was the Red Keep, seven huge drum-towers crowned with iron ramparts, an immense grim barbican, vaulted halls and covered bridges, barracks and dungeons and granaries, massive curtain walls studded with archer’s nests, all fashioned of pale red stone.
Aegon the Conqueror had commanded it built. His son Maegor the Cruel had seen it completed. Afterward he had taken the heads of every stonemason, woodworker, and builder who had labored on it.
Only the blood of the dragon would ever know the secrets of the fortress the Dragonlords had built, he vowed.
Yet now the banners that flew from its battlements were golden, not black, and where the three-headed dragon had once breathed fire, now pranced the crowned stag of House Baratheon.

Hello??? Are you…okay in there?
The figure perks up at the sound of your voice. It's hard to make out, but it seems to... Smile? You can see it's mouth move, but what comes out of the speaker is incomprehensible.
"#*&&^*%ZZDZZZAZZ9ZZAZZIZZ ZZDZZ#@*^$ZZ9ZZAZZ ZZIZZDZZ ZZ#^$'¥♡!@%%&' !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!¡!!"
It leans in further towards the camera, its bitcrushed, distorted voice continuing to eagerly yell nonsense at you as it tries to close the distance, the feed only distorting further the closer it gets.
It seems to completely descend into static, and you're overtaken by a distinctly uneasy feeling. It's as if your mind is starting to cloud in tandem with the growing corruption- its words cutting through your very thoughts.
What's going on? What's your name? Where are you? ? Hello? Hello? Hello? Do you want to fight?? Hi!! Hello!!! ZZAZZAZZDZZAZZIZZ9ZZAZZ"-&9"^'JZZAZZ
-KCHT-
And just as quickly, it all falls silent.
Though the sound that cut it off with was... Strange. Like a burst of static, but with something organic behind it. And with it, whatever that was stops moving. The only motion of the screen is the ever present, ever worsening glitching.
..... And a strange beating at where it's face had been.
As if it's trying to break through.
Thmp, thmp, thmp...
RRRRIP.
The unmistakable sound of flesh tearing overpowers the deafening static of the feed.
SQUSHH.
A second comes.
The bone-like blades struggle, hacking and slashing through the garbage. With a splatter of blood, they tear through the corruption, breaking through a mess of flesh, items, numbers, letters, the scrambled pieces of people and pokemon.
With each strike, it cries in resistance, its "voice" a cacophany of the sounds of breaking and ripping and cracking and screaming and tearing,
struck over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over-
Until, with a final tear, a face appears.
"So, so sorry about that! Those things are so annoying."
The man's cheshire grin widens.
"Nice to finally meet you. I was wondering when you'd show up."
RED IS AVAILABLE FOR QUESTIONS.

The funniest side-effect of Levi creating a big ass beautiful natural garden in Baldur's Gate (he collapses Cazador's palace and uses it as a fundament for it) using flesh as a fertilizer and growing plants and trees out of the bodies, is unexpected friendship he and Kagha develop.
Kagha leaves the grove to help make Baldur's Gate closer to nature (in repentance of her past actions).
She comes to the city, fully expecting to hate every part of it, and finds the most beautiful oasis of nature built on the bones of the enemies of the state. She can't help but appreciate such take on being a druid.
Meanwhile Halsin tries to tell Levi this is not how druids actually druid, Silvanus does not-
Levi doesn't listen, he knows better than to care what some god says. He knows druid magic in the way it comes to him; with blood and death and wild, animalistic rage, and bloodthirst and urgent need of survival, and creation out of destruction, life out of death. Be considers that to be the cycle of life.
Someone dies, and thus serves to make the plants thrive. What's wrong with that?
