now idk about the rest of y'all, but it took me a minute to make this choice. i was stuck between not knowing and thinking that he won't. there's a slight chance that he'd tell them in the instance kayden hadn't tried to talk to him and explain, but they did

levi cares too much about mc to let anything bad happen to them. he knows that if he tells one of his brothers, they'll tell lucifer. once lucifer finds out, he'll be furious, and not only that, he'll be terrified

lucifer masks his fear with anger, like we've seen him do in season one of nb and multiple times in the og game. this also makes me really like the peacock theme throught his demon form; they're big ass, scary ass birds who try to show up other birds by flaunting their feathers to make themselves look better. but instead of lucifer doing it for mating tactics, he does it to protect himself and his brothers from any harm that could come their way

leviathan knows this. he doesn't want mc to get hurt, even with the possibility of him never seeing them again looming over his head constantly. he wouldn't be able to live with himself if he caused anything bad to happen to them, especially if it turns out that he had the wrong idea about their conversation with solomon and that all his anxiety was for nothing

also the clock ticking in the background during this scene ??? impeccable tension building on the game devs' part. we're running out of time to make pacts with everyone, and solomon and mc both know it

this episode really burnt any last hope i had of buddie actually becoming canon

i just knew they were gonna force bucktommy and then have eddie just be ‘supportive best friend’ but now that it’s actually out there i’m so disappointed

• THE INTERVIEWS bro I only saw snippets so far of the newest because travelling and yada yada but in one when asked about Tommy and buck, lou flat out said we should be happy abt bucktommy and that it can be a trial run to work out the kinks if buddie were to go canon and also Ryan saying that as far as Eddie’s sexuality goes, Eddie is very catholic and grew up a certain way but is learning he can explore a little more (aka unlearning comphet🫡) and something about how there is/will be the amount of queer rep expected in a Ryan Murphy/tim minear show (a lot) - I love Ryan sm cos he FEEDS us

• they saw ratings stay HIGH (I think they rose even??) with the Tommy and buck kiss so now all the issues Tim described as being factors to consider when deciding whether to make buddie canon are now non issues- actors= on board, Network and higher ups= love queer rep, Ratings = staying high (and I think rose from the kiss but i don’t wanna misinform)

• Eddie’s whole storyline this episode is just confirming the existence of his catholic guilt, like it’s the most ridiculous stupid storyline they could’ve chose but maybe this was its purpose cos that’s the only thing that makes sense to me

• the parallels and POINTED lines this season are off the charts- as a general rule in film EVERYTHING IS INTENTIONAL think checkovs gun type thing SO MANY LINES just have to mean something

• it seems the leaked script was legit and the fact they scrapped the “brother” line is VERY telling, this means either the script was a draft and they didn’t like it and it didn’t feel right orrr that they edited the line out in post production which could be recent and could mean they waited to see the ratings for the bucktommy kiss before either confirming buddie platonic to please whatever homophobes that popped up or to roll with buddie and not confirm or deny yet

Luigi, 5-years-old, let out a gasp of fear. Frantically reaching out with a cry of, “Mario!”

He was just able to wrap his hands around Mario’s wrist and quickly pulled him back. Just barely able to stop his brother from running into traffic. The car honked their horn angrily as they whizzed by. 

The twins were frozen in shock for a moment before Mario gave a weak laugh and a sheepish smile. “Whoops…”

“Whoops!? You almost ran in front of a car!” Luigi huffed and tightly wrapped his hand around one of Mario’s. “We’re almost home…”

 Mario, 10-years-old, was woken up. Not by the thunder, but by the quiet whimpering coming from his brother’s bed. He was up and out of his head before he fully wiped the sleep from his eyes. Climbing into Luigi’s bed the next second. Crawling under the blankets to find his brother wide away. Eyes shining with tears. 

“Hey…did the sky wake you up?” Mario whispered. 

Luigi nodded slowly.

“Don’t worry, it’s just grumpy, remember? Mama talked about it.”

“D-Doesn’t make me f-feel better…” Luigi fearfully whispered back. 

Mario frowned in thought. “Well…would you feel better if I stayed?” 

There was another nod. Luigi gave a small smile as Mario gripped onto his hand gently. 

“I’ll be right here, okay? I’m not leaving.”

“O-Okay…”

Luigi, 16-years-old, felt absolutely sick sitting outside of the principal’s office. Mario sitting next to him supporting a black eye with a bag of ice resting on it. Inside said office, they could hear their parent’s and the principal’s voices exchanging words. Clearly worried and angry. But neither could tell what was being said. 

Letting out a slow breath, Luigi reached over to take Mario’s free hand into his. “You shouldn’t have done that.”

Mario snorted. “I’d do it again if I need to.”

“I wish you wouldn’t.”

“No one gets to talk to you like that.”

“They’re just words-”

“You’re upset.”

Luigi sniffed softly and rubbed his eyes. “I should have held onto your hand better.”

“...I came back.”

Mario, 21-years-old, ignores the fact that it’s close to midnight as he races down the sidewalk. Curing over the fact that, again, they don’t have a car. Because that would make this trip a lot easier. That didn’t slow him down. 

He skidded to a stop at the last corner. Letting out a sigh of relief seeing the familiar form of his brother. Sitting underneath a street light, slumped over and staring at the ground. 

“Luigi,” Mario whispered out. Pulling his twin into a hug the moment he got close enough. Leaning back to get a better look over Luigi just to confirm he wasn’t physically hurt. “Hey, you okay? I swear, if Dan ever crosses my path again I’m gonna-”

“Mario…” 

The watery voice stopped Mario from completing that threat (promise). He instead let out a slow sigh and said, “He really just…dropped you off? No second thought? Didn’t even think about taking you home?”

“Said he’d had enough of seeing my face for a lifetime,” Luigi practically whispered, “That I should be thankful I wasn’t kicked out when the car was moving.”

“Oh yeah, that…person better hope he never sees me again. Come on, let’s get you-”

“Why…does no one like me?” 

Mario felt a stab to his heart hearing that. Turning back to see tears silently falling from Luigi’s glassy eyes. “...I like you.”

Luigi gave a weak laugh, “You’re my brother… And I’m talking more about…”

“You’ll find someone Lu. There’s someone out there for you. I’m just upset you have to go through pieces of garbage in order to get there…” 

Mario let out a sigh when Luigi didn’t move. Reaching out to take his brother’s hand softly before tugging him along. “Come on. We need to get home. Ma’s gonna freak if she checks on us and we’re not in bed.”

The amazing surroundings and strange weightlessness was completely forgotten when Mario saw his twin tumbling before him. Somehow able to push himself forward to meet up with Luigi and grab onto his hands. 

“It’s going to be okay!”

“I’m telling ya, nothing can hurt us as long as we’re together!”

Mario gave Luigi’s hands a gentle squeeze while also giving a wide smile. He believed his words. They were true. They would be fine as long as they were together. This was just another obstacle in their lives. A strange one, but one they could face together. 

Because they had each other.

They just had to keep holding on.

*bangs fists on table* Mum Tiana! Mum Tiana! Mum Tiana!

I always see Tiana as the mum friend of the princesses and that is absolutely correct. She sees Yuu and is like: is anyone going to mother her? *Minnie and several other characters are about to raise their hands* No? Okay! Here sweetie, have some gumbo and beignets 😊

She just sees how hard Yuu works in a world where all odds seem to be against her and she’s still  smiling and making due with what she has when all she has is literally nothing just so touched. Besides she knows a thing or two about the restaurant business - if Yuu looks like she needs a hand, Tiana will be there to help and to remind her to take a break. And nobody is going to interrupt that break if they don’t want to answer to her.

Yuu definitely has a job offer for Tiana’s Place 

She’s not going to let Yuu get bullied by anyone either. When she first found out about Sam and his friends from the other side, alarm bells started ringing but Yuu was quick to comfort her by saying how Sam is like a cool protective older brother and how he gives her discounts and stuff and would never let harm come to her so she reluctantly lets it go. But don’t worry, she’s friends with an alligator and is a master at knife-wielding (and she has many knives) and as Ralph Breaks the Internet has taught us, she is not afraid to use a rolling pin.

Dr Facilier literally gave Yuu a grin and before he could open his mouth, Tiana had gently taken Yuu’s hand and guided her away whilst giving the shadow man a deathly glare.

Charlotte adores Yuu. She’s like the fun aunt that always brings super expensive presents every time she visits. Every time Yuu stops at her table, she’s just bursting with happy energy, ready to hear about all of the boys at NRC.

Just because he’s very big on consent doesn’t mean the rest of the world is).

Like he literally sees this sweet, kind girl and he and Charlotte are already making kidnapping adoption plans.

Tiana: *right when she and her husband are about to enter the club* Now honey, I know that you think that Yuu would be happier with us but remember she has her friends and sort-of adoptive father back at her school and kidnapping is illegal here. And yes, it is still considered kidnapping even if she comes willingly.

Louis and Ray love Yuu. They work with Naveen to compose the most incredible song for when it’s time for her and her suitor to dance together (the PatF gang all ship KalimYuu by the way)

Dr Facilier thinks Yuu is cool. Both of them are living with disadvantages and don’t really have that much control over their lives - only instead of living with resentment like he does, she just marches on. She knows better than to make a deal with him though *Azul memories intensify* but he’s a really charming and charismatic guy. He’s fun to hang around with when you watch out for him trying to swindle you. Yuu always talks about Sam and how cool she finds him and his shadows and the two of them talk about voodoo and hoodoo and yay *new friend unlocked*

i know jack doesn’t tell mooch to make her own friends purposefully but what if mooch starts feeling like jack doesn’t want her around anymore so she tries really hard to make new friends and she does so everyone is so excited for her but then when her friends come over some of jack’s ntdp friends are there and all of mooch’s friends are just ignoring mooch and trying to chat up jack’s friends and that’s when the boys really realise that without them their younger sister would be so alone.

so later when mooch goes to vancouver and cole’s there and she tells quinn about their friendship and this isn’t like the friends she had in high school quinn can’t help but feel proud and he’s texting jack and luke. like even though they’re technically teammates mooch and cole are so close to each other that they’re happy she had someone looking out for her.

they would be at the house and don’t see mooch and go to her room and she’s sitting alone and quinn is like “why aren’t you with your friends anymore?” and mooch shrugs and is like “they think jack and trevor and alex are more interesting.” and it breaks quinn’s heart

Pros:

Loki regained the magical look - of a God - and I missed it. I complained about his boring uniform

RIYA ��� i believe in my heart she used to convince her brother sebastian of the most ridiculous lies simply to annoy him. hall of fame for the entire week she got away with convincing him that their mother was about to marry her off to some royal/noble in another region, resulting in him going on numerous rants until their father heard one and the truth came out. probably spawned from her getting irritated by his snide comments about the king's permissive nature with mage freedoms. she had no choice but to convince him she'd be allowed to leave with no push back whatsoever just for a marriage, if you think about it. somebody had to bully him about it!!

MAEVE — i keep thinking of sad things to do with carden and i don't want that in my life. i'm shoving them all into a box and ignoring them, we don't need his bitch ass rn. so ummmmm how about just goofing on the fact that maeve's cranked the drama, angst, and romance levels all up to 169% in most of her stories and convinced such a staggering amount of people who read her stories of some absurd things. anti-witcher propaganda is in shambles because the beloved bard wrote of one that wept on his knees while confessing his love to a partner because the emotions were all Too Much and now that's just spreading around as gospel to some folk. i don't know who that tale would be about but it's funny, and also rip to the witchers who play into the "we have no emotions" thing for extra intimidation if they run into any of these bard fans, it's gonna be a rough one ✌️

🥣 for a food-themed headcanon

RIYA — i feel that as somebody who grew up in an incredibly privileged position, as well as in a kingdom that goes so hard with its aesthetics and appreciation for beauty that it extends into their cuisine, presentation is the most important part of food for riya. she'd be willing to overlook a dip in quality of the ingredients (mostly. she'd probably still lowkey shade it) if the plating was beautiful enough, but anything that looks low effort will immediately have her appetite leaping out of the nearest window.

MAEVE — (food adjacent so i'm counting this) maeve can't cook for the life of her so she turned to setting tables to feel useful during meal times, then ended up Loving it as an activity because it was an unexpected and easy output for her creativity and attention to detail. carden would've ruined this for a few years (as he did with most things), but this is something she could've rekindled enjoyment of fairly quickly after he'd gone with the help of greyson. he gets to go ham in a fully-stocked rich kitchen and she gets to spend 40 minutes deciding which flowers are perfect for the evening’s dinner before finally working on any other part of the table, and that's just good teamwork idk what to tell you

RIYA — i stand by my goof statement from numerous sessions ago that riya used to crash a bunch of parties/events in cumberland just because she could get away with it. she's done it technically twice now in-session so i believe she deserves to have gotten away with it multiple times in the past. probably, yes, she would have been invited to so very many events because of what family she's from, but i'm not talking about those ones we're ignoring those rn. we're talking about riya walking into a semi-private gala hosted by royalty or some shit and getting away with it because she batted her eyelashes at the right guard or noble and then she got to spend the night vibing out as andraste intended. i'm counting this as celebration themed bc she'd certainly feel celebratory for getting away with these things lmao

MAEVE — the thing is that this bard has too much money and that means she can get away with throwing celebration parties over whatever she wants purely as an excuse to call all her friends and loved ones together so they can have a night day&night enjoying themselves. maeve's gestures are so grand that she's planning parties just so people can have a break and feel her affection through the efforts.

Tbh I think as much as u can read into the other members of wxs being lonely before they found each other emu often gets ignored like. She’s been working at PXL since she was a little kid. She’s super social and outgoing and extroverted but the story treats everyone she talks to at her highschool like new acquaintances. My hot take in general is rui 🤝 emu 🤝 tsukasa 🤝 nene as the kids nobody wanted to be friends with (nene less so because she’s not weird as hell like the rest of the clowns. more so bc she’s very withdrawn) which is very sweet. I’m so glad they found each other (ugly crying). But I feel like it tends to get ignored unless people are talking about tsukasa or rui. Tbf a lot of rui’s arc is about experiencing isolation from his peers (so you kinda have to talk abt that to talk abt rui) but people are so much more willing to read into tsukasa also being isolated from his peers (a fair assumption given his lack of friends) than they are emu (who despite being portrayed as a social butterfly had nobody to relate to & no friends she talks abt until she met tsukasa & by extension nene and rui). Going insane going crazy etc emu had nobody else to share her dreams with and nobody else she could really talk to until wxs just like tsukasa but nobody cares abt this. Bc everyone reads the surface level silly girl characterization and refuses to read between the lines of her being Too Much for her peers like tsukasa & rui were. Esp given how little her family cared abt her dreams like just imagining little emu being like I want to restore the wonder stage & keep PXL in like with grandpas dreams being met with her brothers’s & dad’s scorn makes me so insane. I love that fucking Thang. The Creature. The Silly. Emu Ootori you are so special to me forever and always.
