Ry and Garnet are old chooms.

They've known each other since Ry was able to attent one of his first underground techno(ise) raves Night City had to offer. They were also chooms with benefits some years back, now they are just chooms.

Ry and Garnet always complained about the NUSA techno and the rather boring parites. They sat down and developed the concept of Hell Bunker toegether once Garnet told Ryder about his idea to have his own location to host parties.

So Ryder helped him in the beginning whenever he had time. He helped turning the location into something cool and even created flyers for the events (mostly for Chrome Chamber Rave tho) and pushed the location a lot so that it grew quite big by 2075.

Garnet acts as a DJ often but has also a lot to do behind the curtains as he's the owner of Hell Bunker (tho I hc Ryder to join him after the big story is done). He even does sorting at the entrance for Chrome Chamber Rave as there are strict rules such as a certain dress code you gotta have to wear, otherwise you may not be able to enter.

Ryder still helps out when there is a shortage in staff, so it is not unlikely that he plays sorter at the entrance as well.

Their brotp name was the fasted I came up with. I gave Garnet sharp teeth like Ry has (my new hc is now that Ry got his bc of Garnet). Garnet's are fully chromed teeth tho with blood red canines. His entire mouth and tongue are chromed black.

Short Version: I wanted to host a server-wide Redacted awards of sorts after being inspired by things I was seeing over here! Mainly @autisticempathydaemon and the way they do their Redacted recommendations and such because I love any opportunity to lift up others in the fandom

Where do I start. Nyx being the primordial being, God in the persona universe. All life comes from her. She’s the beginning and the end, she is death itself. Having death be put inside a small boy and his kindness and love making death want to be human itself. Wanting to repay that kindness and love, feeling guilt at the way it treated the small boy, ruining his life.

The fact that Ryoji is Death, is Thanatos, is Pharos, is Nyx. They’re all the same being. The concept and execution of that, who had no feelings either way before, being treated so kindly to the point where it takes forms this bond with P3 Hero. Protecting him from the first arcana shadow as Thanatos on the first full moon of the game. The culmination of these forms is of course Mochizuki Ryoji. Who’s become soft and sweet. He copies P3 Hero’s appearance and gender and is everything that he never knew he wanted to be.

He loves the world so much, loves humanity so much. He’s so endlessly kind and having that kindness be a direct reflection of P3 Hero makes it that much sweeter. The fact he created this form because of his desire to have it and desire to separate himself from Nyx is the sweetest thing in the world. Especially when they’re all still the same being. Ryoji just has a hard time putting that in perspective again, he doesn’t want to be that, (Evident by his dumb Ryoji phase) doesn’t want to go back to that. It’s so sweet. He’s the cutest in the world.

They are literal soulmates. They are one another. Mirror images. Love birds. Codependent cats. Made for each other in the most literal of senses. Ryoji made his form from Minato so they could spend time together. Minato taught Death kindness.

This is a bit odd to type out but pretty much anyone who isn’t P3 Hero with Ryoji? I see Ryoji as only being made for one person in particular, so the others just don’t appeal to me in the same way.

Can I cheat and put more than one. I’m gonna. These are all Ryoji post P3 unless stated otherwise.

- Ryoji going a step further and taking Minato’s hair and eye color. Draining a blue Minato used to have til his are bright and shining. The same way he absorbed his kindness.

- He is crazy codependent. Like crazy codependent. If he was able to touch Minato for a split second in November they would never be able to let go of one another. That’s why Minato had to avoid him in FES.

-He's really warm! Got that from Minato too so he's left with all the cold. Ryoji's fun to hug though :)

- Him and Minato watch over the world together in the great seal! Ryoji shares the knowledge while Minato catches up on rest and helps explain new concepts to him when he wakes up. He’s his doorman ^_^ (ha)

- He would really enjoy working retail if he ever got the shot. He loves people in general. Getting to meet them, talk to them, the whole shebang.

- He’s embarrassed of being Pharos. Like people get of old baby photos.

- Ryoji is metaphorically trans baby. Wanting to copy Minato and preferring being called Ryoji, a boy. It makes talking about Gods a bit difficult. Dysphoria and all. Poor thing experiences it in the weirdest of ways. But as Minato and Ryoji continue to be the seal, it’ll get easier.

- He likes sunrises and cheesy rom coms and fairy tales. Classic knight and princess stories. Kind of has the most normal taste ever, but a romantic at heart.

- Speaking of normal, I think “Dumb Ryoji” is a representation on what Minato would have been like if Death was never sealed inside of him. Perfect friends with all of the right people, charming, a bit of a playboy, and best friends with Junpei.

I personally don’t imagine Ryoji with a sexuality. His human form was made as a mirror to Minato, and so interacting with him throws him off course. He acts different around him, it confuses him. I don’t see anything Dumb Ryoji does as being a real representation of who Ryoji is.

and I will love with urgency, but not with haste (T, Aegnor/Andreth, 3.1k) was one of the first fics I wrote for the Silm fandom (and felt a bit like jumping into the deep end since it's for Obscure Silm at that), so I have a lot of nostalgia attached to it and am still very fond of it.

Beneath the Innumerable Stars (G, Findis & Ilmarë, 1k) is a short one, but as someone who has trouble visualizing things, I'm awfully proud of the imagery I came up with for this. I tend to stick to places and characters that have at least a little bit of canon description to go on, so I'm proud of myself for branching out here.

Crowned with Lilies Fair (G, Belladonna & Goldberry, 0.7k) is another short one. Look, I love hobbits. And I especially love hobbits interacting with ancient beings. And Belladonna and Goldberry never get enough love.

On These Hither Shores (G, Frodo & Boromir, 3.2k) is one my favorite fics I've ever written, and one of the ones I'm proudest of. I'd wanted for a long time to write a fic focusing on Frodo and Boromir's relationship before the Ring got a hold of Boromir, and I'm quite happy with how this turned out.

through thick and thin (G, Frodo & Merry, 1k) has a special place in my heart because Frodo and Merry are one of my most cherished LOTR brotps. I can never find enough Frodo & Merry fics to sate my need, so I had to write the fic I wanted to see in the world.

I've already ranted here in greater length about how I love that Kenjaku is a canon trans villain and how their queerness isn't the reason/motivation for their villainy, but I think just in general my favorite thing about them is the inspiration they give me for art.

It’s not a trait the show often showcases, but he worries about Iris enough to go to the hospital and sit by her bedside even after they fought, he’s racing specifically to raise money for his mom’s medical bills, he wants to be a hero to help people (not just because he thinks it’ll be cool to have powers—when he thinks there’s a chance of him not getting powers, he specifically says “So you think, just let it go? Give up on wanting to help people?”), etc. He’s got a bigger heart than people give him credit for!

I love him, I do, and I don’t fault him for being mad that Barry proposed to Iris out of fear (nor do I blame him more than Barry, as some morons do), but…he should’ve confronted Barry privately about that. Maybe with Iris, but not with everyone else

More thoughts I gotta write down beneath the cut for those who are interested.

Vijay knows no boundaries and just jumps onto Ryder from behind and someone took a pic in the right moment (I did). Ry is comfortable with V still close to him, but he's trying not to lose his smile here entirely because he concentrates on the sudden 6'4'' tall weight on him. x)

I think you get why I call this brotp 'Stuck on you' — Vijay basically declared it this way. V is like the angel on your shoulder, he watches over Ry.* He was there for Ryder right from the start, listened and supported him, got him out of he darkness besides giving him a new identity before they even got to be friends. Yes, there was a long pause — both needed — but after that you're not able to separate them ever again, not as lovers but as best friends and both are happy with it because a real good friendship can be so much better than a relationship. <3

It's a bit funny to me you know? And I'm laughing at this very moment about it as well.

Because here was I believing Vijay to be my main oc before I created Ryder — with the intention to give V a boyfriend and a support character for team Jackie and V. But it all came differently bc I stumbled over pretty Arki along the way (and I love to what it turned out by now).

And where am I now? I realized half a year ago, that Ryder is my main guy and Vijay his support. Without him there literally would be no Ryder. I mean it! Seriously. If they hadn't met, Ryder would be gone given his low self-esteem and depression when I reflect my written back story about him. Let that sink in.

*Sidenote: the moment I wrote this I scrolled up, looked at the pic for another moment and noticed that with a bit imagination the holo cherry blossom tree behind them could be a form of wings. <- me again, doing pics with no idea finding/seeing things only later.

1. What sort of content do you create, and what is the thing you’ve made that you’re most proud of?

Proudest fic - There are a few I tend to choose from, but right now it's Even Though You're Kryptonian

2. What fandom(s) do you create for?

Supercorp. (And a very tiny amount of Dansen and soon Rojarias.)

3. What is your current favourite ship (or brotp if you prefer), and how controversial is it?

Supercorp!! I don't think it's a controversial ship, lol.

4. For your answer to question 3, are they canon?

They are to me 😌

5. What was your first fandom, and how old were you?

My first obsession (and still greatest love) was Xena. I started watching the show a few episodes into season 1, when I was 6 years old. It was very formative.

That said, I didn't really get involved in any fandom communities until Supercorp (in early 2022).

6. What is your most unhinged fandom creation to date?

I don't think I get super unhinged, but as a pilot I did like creating this dumb incorrect quote.

7. Do you remember what started you off creating fandom content, and if so, what was it?

I was getting frustrated at not being able to find certain types of fics, and it struck me that... I was allowed to write my own.

8. Do you let people you know in real life see your fandom creations?

Yup! My partner read my first two fics in support, and several of my IRL friends have read at least one of my fics because I didn't have the good sense to keep that information to myself when I was getting started. It's mortifying lol. But my friends are very cool people.

9. How do you feel about fanworks of fanworks? Has anyone ever made something based on a thing you made?

Fanworks of fanworks are amazing!!! I've been incredibly lucky to have that happen three times (post), and gotten asked for permission for a different continuation and a podfic that may eventually happen.

10. What feeling do you most often try to evoke with your creations?

Angst. Longing. Bits of compassion too.

11. Has someone ever paid your work a compliment (in any form) that has stuck with you, and what was it?

I love each and every one of my commenters ❤️

Honestly, the compliments that stick with me most are "I came back to reread this" or "this idea is still living rent-free in my head" type comments. I think that's what all writers and artists want - to feel that their art lasted in someone's mind beyond the first time seeing it.

12. What’s your favourite thing someone else has made that you’ve seen in the last 24 hours (and link it if you can find it again!)

Technically it was more than 24hrs ago but this art by @awaitingrain is so fucking cute!!

13. Give a small sneak preview of something you’re working on right now (eg a couple of sentences of fic from a WIP, a gif set theme, a small piece of a larger picture, whatever you feel happy to share)

I have a ficlet (that's getting out of control), here's a snippet:

Lena was cozying into the warmth of Kara’s body, when Lena spoke. “I’m thinking of visiting my mother’s house soon,” she said shyly. “I want to find out more about her. Where I came from.”

“That sounds lovely,” Kara said softly.

“Do you want to come with me?” Lena asked.

Kara hesitated.

Some of my comments are very simple, some of my comments are very long. I've tried to get more consistent about commenting ever since starting to write, because I know how important it is. Unfortunately, I also read a lot less now that I'm writing more.

16. How many works in progress do you currently have? Will you finish them all?

I have 5 WIPs! I'm very confident I'll finish them all.

17. what’s the longest it’s ever taken you to finish a fandom project?

I guess my worldkiller Kara fic took a bit over 3 months, though part of that was spacing with the Supercorp Big Bang.

I tend to write fast. One of the things I'm actually trying to do is slow down to fill out the story a bit more.

18. Describe the thing you made most recently in a way that is technically true, but also completely misleading. Link the thing if it’s published!

Lena has a bad day in the lab (Clockwork).

19. Do you ever engage with fanworks for a fandom you’re not in? Which one(s) and how did you get into it?

I totally engage in fanart from other fandoms that cross my dashboard, particularly korrasami. I don't tend to read fanfic of stuff I haven't engaged in, though.

20. Recommend a fan work from your fandom to your followers

This fanvid is probably my favorite in the entire fandom.
