I have a new shop! On a fancy new website!!
There are new items up for sale, things not listed on my Etsy store, and this is where pretty much all of my new merch will go. I’ll be posting about the new stuff I have up, but I wanted to make a general announcement as well. Lots of new projects in the works, and lots of cool new stuff already listed!

everyone makes fun of soap when they find out how many hair and skin products he keeps on hand. the cabinet in his bathroom is filled to bursting and he always keeps travel sized bottles on him on missions
when soldiers outside the 141 find out, they call him precious and self-obsessed, a vain pretty boy too preoccupied with his reflection to focus on the enemy. no wonder how he got his callsign. price has given up telling him to leave them on base and just teaches him to individually wrap them so they don’t rattle against each other and give himself away
what they don’t know is that each product contains an ingredient that when mixed with any number of the others, creates potent chemical bombs. he was caught unarmed once, he won’t let it happen again
#ghost picks it up when he watches him meticulously read the ingredients lists on the bottles when he goes shopping with him once#he knows enough about products to know that when you find one that works you keep using it#so hes confused when he sees soap put back a moisturiser hes certain hes seen in his little bag#he waits for him to leave the aisle and checks the bottle#which is when he sees the new and improved formula sticker on the back#he memorises the ingredients and when he checks the bottle in soaps room sure enough theres an ingredient missing#thats when he puts it together#it seems his little intro into guerrilla warfare had sparked some ideas in his sergeant#and hes so damn proud it takes him off guard for a second#he hadnt expected him to keep up with it not when hed rarely need the knowledge#but he is and hes doing it all on his own using his own expertise and forethought#the pride has to make room for a difference kind of warmth at the sheer competency on display in front of him#the next day he drops a new product with the missing ingredient on soaps head#the soldiers around them are shocked that hed indulge in soaps prissiness#hes the only that that sees the feral glint in soaps eye as he thanks him and starts going on about the benefits of looking after your skin#coming out of my cage and ive been doing just fine.txt#ghost x soap#soapghost#ghostsoap#ghost mw2#cod ghost#cod soap#soap mw2#soap mactavish#cod mwii#call of duty#we’re a team. ghost team

-- Poorly Constructed Enchanted Tool --
A small tool carved from a fruit tree seed. Energy to power the enchantment has seemingly run-out long ago, and the method of recharging is unknown - but, based on the appearance, it's very likely that this was once used for detecting magic. Usually, looking through the glass center would highlight areas of higher magical energy concentration present in the viewer's environment, even if they were otherwise obscured to the naked eye. While this form of enchantment itself is highly advanced, the craftsmanship of the item is far less neat or complex than what might be typically seen in similar devices. It may have been made as part of training/practice, or as a hasty replacement for a previous tool that had broken.
#written from the perspective of some fantasy traveler who checks all of the local thrift-stores and lost & found places for every#town they visit - looking for interesting items and documenting them or something#In reality - just another one of my goofy little avocado pit carvings lol. Still working on inlaying little stones in them and stuff#I don't really have the tools to make super intricate stuff but doing little plain swirly patterns is still fine enough lol.#WORKING ON NEW POLL ADVENTURE also I know I know it's been months.. I have been Busy and struck by the evils of summer#But like I mentioned in the previous one I do want to at LEAST finish the quest with the egg lol#ANYWAY.#Things like this would plausibly exist in Nanyevimi (my fantasy world) but wouldn't be very common as - like mentioned- this would be an#extremely advanced enchantment. REALLY advanced mages could sense magic around them (to varying degrees of pinpoint accuracy of location#) without even having to use any external device. But for a majority of people there's really no way to know someone is using magic near#you unless you either see visual proof or if it's strong enough to feel effects from it (since magic is kind of like radiation in that the#higher energy/more of it youre exposed to the more it damages you/can make you sick/etc.) and even then most people would just be like#'hmm why do I feel so nauseous and bad out of nowhere?' likely wouldn't directly think to link it to magic. Thus the only really reliable w#way isto just hone your senses over like 500 years as you become an expert mage - OR use enchantments like these. But a 'sense magic' encha#ntment is not as common as a just 'magic is not allowed here' enchantment. If you wanted to prevent magic from being usedin a space#it's easier to just put up a broad barrier enchantment around that space than to have some sort of Magic Sensor to pick out if it's being#done and then handle each individual case of it . etc. etc. These sort of things can have their uses (especially for people investigating#things or trying to be secretive about detecting something etc.) but are less common - especially in this form (where visuals are used. itd#be more likely to jsut have like 'piece of metal that gets warm or cool depending on magic nearby'.) ANWAY so this is why it's a notable#object. Though a majority of the realm is not very magic literate - if you were a researcher or a mage and found this at a pawn shop you'd#definitely be like 'oohhh!! :0 inch resting... ' if not you might just be like 'oh cool necklace!' lol#also love the quick 2min ''costume'' for the image of it being used. literally just 'wrap yourself in scarves from the waist up' and slap o#a wig and ears lol#on this blog I guess since it's worldbuilding related and technically art.. maybe more like crafting? I should have a crafts tag lol.. hmm

@love-killed-the-superstar Following our recent discussions, I just need to point out again that Shredder burned down April's whole ass shop in the first season of 2k3, and after she rebuilt it identically, brick by brick, he is STILL like Hm. I wonder where I may be able to find my enemies now. Such a mystery. Alas.
Meanwhile, Karai is like "I need to deliver a threat to Leonardo. I'll just leave it with April" and breezes into the shop pretty as you please.
#the foot mystics were apparently under Shredder's control for literal CENTURIES#he just never did anything with them except guard his private elevator i guess#meanwhile Karai is in charge of their amulet for all of three episodes before she is like yo.#How about you psychically flush out the turtles and also tell me where they live.#AND THEY DO.#This isn't even me going into Shredder sending STOCKMAN IN A WHEELCHAIR to check out the burnt down shop like#there was POLICE OUTSIDE when it blew up. If they had found seven burnt corpses in the wreckage don't you think it'd have made the paper.#but noooo. send your henchman in a wheelchair accompanied by ILLEGAL BANK ROBBERY ROBOTS to check out the rubble instead.#the shredder is so comically incompetent.#my wife and I often joke how freaking efficient the foot in Japan must be in comparison.#Foot Clan Japan: A legion of hyper skilled warriors operating in the shadows led by a mega competent operative with larger picture thinking#Foot Clan New York: We put our symbol on a skyscraper. #ay. i wish i wasnt such a cry bby. its so annoying#like pls just ignore my tears. i promise im fine. like probably#i did my target orientation today bc my background check went thru and my 1st full days starts tomorrow at 4.30am#and i just get overwhelmed by new situations. plus the humiliation being forced to take an academic break. plus i kept thinking abt how when#i moved to town my mom and i did a lot of my shopping there to fill out my room#itll b fine after a week or so. im just a lil overwhelmed rn. plus i filled out my resume for possibly getting a government job and asked#for recommendations. so it feels more real that i might not be going back to school in the fall and that's also overwhelming#and i have to focus on getting my masters stuff tied together this summer so im gonna have to meet with my old boss probably next week#again. just a lil overwhelmed. ugh. itll b fine#unrelated

Ugh I had a pretty intense day. I wanna spend some time with Sim.eon, that'd make me feel better.
#honestly I really want to take a bath but I don't have a bath 😔#its so hard being a girl....#I'm pretty proud of myself though like you wouldn't believe what I did#I arranged a venue for my leaving party/wedding celebration#complete with the catering I want which is a classic British afternoon tea#because apparently my husband thought that only existed in Assassin's cr**d??#so I want him to have that experience for real like he wanted#and then I had to call all my guests to double check they can attend that day + arrange travel cus its in my families hometown and not mine#then I ordered the custom celebration cake I want...#and THEN I booked two different hotel stays like one is just an overnight one in the hometown#and the other is a spa hotel for us to spend some solo time in#Im really very excited for that!#but after so much phone calls and tedium and money out of my bank Im just 😴#getting all of this sorted has been weighing on my mind a lot lately though so Im glad its done#oh also my older brothers dryer literally exploded so now I have to buy him a new one...#and I still need to arrange with my family's church minister to bless us but he isn't available on weekends#needless to say I definitely deserve some rest and relaxation after all of that!!#sunny speaks#qpr: coffee shop companions

#you can ignore this post- i just made it since i'm happy to see this haha#i still call this website drunk duck in my head since that's when i joined and was super active on it#i recently remembered some webcomics from it and decided to see what became of them#one actually finished (simply sarah) so i have new reading for me in the new year#and i'll probably check out the other webcomics that are currently popular on it at the same time as well#since the site still gives off old-school webcomic site vibes which i love#it all has to wait until the new year though since i'm a supermarket worker by day and the holidays are a busy time of the year in my job#somebody's gotta stock all the selves that the customer empty after all (+ i need to fullfill many e-shop orders)#busy times busy times
