inspired by @where-does-the-heart-lie and given courage by @wolf-eared-fangirl and their own wonderful rendition of the asl kpop au.

i got inspired a whole lot by the notes and artworks from whery but also tried to make it my own by making it increasingly impossible realistically. one of those it’s a fanfic and i can make anything possible vibes.

all of these are just concept notes and ideas i was able to keep down for the past what? two months or so? there are a lot more wips and ideas, and i wanted to see if there was anyone who wanted to bump brains with me or was willing to indulge seeing my messy thoughts/notes.

i made law important because i am obsessed with not only asl but him too. no escape from the brain worms, really. even if he doesn’t really pop up in a lot of my current wips for this au…

i should make storyboards but my brain has latched to grps like exo or atz for like. clothes inspo. i have multiple concert wips that needed me to make an entire fake asl concert setlist so that was fun, considering how i ended up adding eng and jp songs… i cannot contain myself and have been repeatedly editing everything I have on this for months ,,,

one thing that will always make me sick to my stomach when i think about it is how, in the farseer trilogy, fitz loved winterfest & was always looking forward to it. . . then you get to the tawny man trilogy where he forgot winterfest was even a thing to note. it had crept up on him and he felt nothing about it, something that once made him so happy. and then there's the fitz and the fool trilogy and, while he didn't have his youthful excitement of winterfest back, he, molly, and the kids still celebrated it at withywoods and had happy memories of it.

so he gets a bit of happiness back from his childhood, gets a piece of his life back from his depression, and then it's taken away from him yet again in the worst way possible when the servants attack on winterfest eve, kidnap his daughter, and ravage and ransack his people and his estate.

if I had a nickel for every time I made a Spider-Man au based off a video game, I'd have three nickels, which isn't a lot but it's concerning that it's happened three times. This au is the spidey/final fantasy vii mashup, where Peter becomes the Unreliable Narrator

the BIGGEST dilemma(s) was figuring out if I should

A) keep the eyes in my art style (no colours, just the highlight), bc ngl it makes him seem more babey (pic 1),,, or

B) add the mako-glow to the eyes so i could be lore-accurate.... also I spent a lot of time!! on colouring in those pixels!!!!! dammit!!!!!!!!! (pic 2) and

C) OF COURSE i was struggling to choose between the white and red backgrounds!!!!! evil me!!!!!!! making difficult creative decisions!!!!!!

i will,,,, try to draw the other peeps as well (mj as tifa and gwen as aerith ,,, mmm yesss esysey yes ssss) but i fear the monkey brain has already died........ i will try tho,,,,,,,,,,

so there's a video i sent my mom from my abroad trip wherein i am syringe-feeding a bee that's freshly emerged from the pupal stage, right. and my mom was enamored enough by that video to post it to her facebook page. right.

and that's all well and good. the whole family and my mom's friends get to see me feed a bee. cool. but then she shows me in my own video, and is giggling, and goes "oh yeah, at some point you call the bee 'darling.'"

and i just feel . the color drain from my face. like Oh God No. and then I hear it in the video. me ever-so-sweetly going "there you go, darling" to this bee.

Now all of my mom's facebook friends know I call bugs pet names. and i just have to live with that knowledge
