WHAT IF SEASON 2 EPISODE 7 SPOILERS
Wow oh wow this episode was pretty amazing. One of the things I really liked was showing how Odin was a piece of shit to all of his children especially Hela. It really shows how he really only saw them as tools of destruction for rea domination instead of people with actual feelings. And I love how Hela showed great signs of PTSD from Odin in her flashbacks and showed how scared of him she was but in the end she conquered her fears of Odin and became the Goddess of Light I think based on the color scheme of her outfit. And I was actually a little worried if Hela and Wenwu were gonna get together 😅 But they didn’t. This episode was awesome! Definitely recommend watching this one.

Krampus is Thor and Loki’s nephew
As I was scoping through the internet because my brain said look up Norse stuff again, I learned in some stories and variations, Krampus is Hel’s son!
So if throw that into the Marvel Universe
A pissed off supernatural demon goat creature going after his uncles because they killed his mom.
Thor: Bruce no questions
Loki: no questions at all *seals the door closed*
Strange: *hears carol of the bells in the distance* why does that sound like boss music?
Bruce: what did you do?
[Krampus riding on a frost stream of black snow and ash]
Krampus: *holding branches belting out in anger*

Something New (Loki x GN!Reader)
Summary: You have known each other since you were children on Asgard, you’ve been there through everything… And now you’re stranded on a junk planet with the man you believed to be dead for four years… It was time for a honest chat.
A/N: Set during ‘Thor Ragnarok’, no descriptors or use of ‘Y/N’.
Tumblr media
“Silent treatment, is it? How juvenile. And a little boring.”
You fight the urge to roll your eyes, irritation flashing through your features at Loki’s - deliberately - vexing comment. Shaking your head, you stayed looking out the large window of the quarters you and Loki had been forced to share, especially after he had told the Grandmaster you two were married.
“Ah, I see, you’re in the honeymoon phase. Well, we are very progressive here on Sakaar.” The Grandmaster had mused. “We have husbands, wives, consorts, throuples and in-betweens. I can give you a leaflet if you like-“ To which quickly you had held up a hand, shaking your head, overwhelmed by the junk planet you’d ended up on, let alone the intricacies of their… escapades. No, you were much more focused on finding a way off of the planet and to Asgard to stop Hela, and then back to Midgard to live your life in peace.
It had been a few days since Loki and Thor had appeared on Midgard before your eyes, the shock and disbelief you felt still fresh in your mind at the sight of Loki - alive. And finding out he had faked his death for Asgard’s throne… Well, that was just the cherry on top. You forgave him for trying to destroy Jotunheim, you tried to forgive him for attacking New York… Fighting side by side against the Dark Elves had felt right… And then, he was gone. Dead, you thought.
“You seriously think you can go god-knows how long without speaking to me?” Loki inquired, raising a curious brow. “Whether you like it or not, we are in this together.” He nodded to himself. “And I, for one, am not about to let the opportunity to gain the Grandmasters favour, get close and perhaps take his place, slip me by.”
“Oh my god-“ You whirl around, finally facing him as your brows crease. “Are you serious?” You snap, a beat of silence filling the air between you. When you see him furrow his brows in a look that said ‘well, yes’, you couldn’t help but let a tired laugh escape your lips, head falling back slightly as your gaze flickered to the ceiling.
“I fail to see how that is funny-“ Loki huffed, tilting his head faintly.
“No, you’re right-“ You sigh, shaking your head, gaze fixed upon him once more. “It isn’t funny. No, in fact-“ You take a step closer. “It’s hilarious.” Loki blinked, irritation creeping up on him now at your mocking words. “Because, of course, Asgard was simply just… not enough?” You raise a brow. “Having Odin sent to Midgard, his death leading to the unleashing of the Goddess of Death who is now set on ruling Asgard and possibly destroying anyone or anything in her way… Was… not enough.”
Loki averted his eyes, looking down as his jaw twitched, your words hitting him with the harsh reality that his actions had consequences.
“And instead of doing the right thing and wanting to try and leave this hel, you wish to… stay? Ignore that our home is in danger?” Silence fell between you both, giving you the answer you needed as you let out an exasperated breath. “Right, well then.” You muttered, straightening yourself. “You’ve made yourself clear.” You went to move, going to find your own way off of Sakaar, with or without Loki’s help.
“Wait-“ Loki sighed, reaching out to grasp your wrist, stopping your leave. “Just… wait.” He added, tone slightly softer. You looked up to meet his stare, seeing the uncertainty on his features. “I…” He sighed once again. “I’m sorry.” He finally muttered, eyes quickly flickering to the wall before landing back on you. “Alright?” He slowly let go of your wrist. “I didn’t think.”
“No, you’re right, you didn’t.” You grumbled, folding your arms over your chest, your own eyes moving to stare firmly at the wall behind Loki. Loki could see the tension in your frame, the hurt he had caused by faking his death still clinging to you like an old wound. He clasped his hands into fists at his sides briefly, before letting them fall naturally, letting out a slow breath whilst doing so.
“You can’t be too surprised by that.” Loki tried, tone wry. “Whilst my intelligence may be high, it seems my… ability for considering others emotions is somewhat lacking.” You scoffed at that. “‘Always so perceptive about everyone but yourself’.” Loki mumbled to himself, making you glance at him. He let out a breathy, quick laugh as he shook his head lightly, lips pursing. “Yet it seems my perception can be… also lacking when it comes to those closest.” He added quietly.
You stayed silent, unsure on what to say - on what he wanted you to say. Instead, you sighed, unfolding your arms, moving towards a nearby seat as you felt Loki’s eyes watching your every move. “I’m tired, Loki.” You finally spoke, sitting down, elbows on your knees, hands clasped together. “You’re supposed to be my dearest friend, and yet… it feels as though you are intent on creating distance between us.”
Loki raised his chin faintly, before taking close calculated steps towards you, a slightly awkward aura surrounding him. He wasn’t one to be open with such matters as friendship and emotions. But perhaps… it was time he tried. Tentatively, he took a seat beside you, leaving a respectable distance, knowing he had to earn the right to be close to you again.
The truth was, whilst you may have been dear friends once, over the years it had… changed. Ever since Loki discovered the truth about his heritage, maybe even before that. When he chose to lie to you about the Frost Giants entry into Asgard, he had made his choice. He had chosen self-preservation. Something that in his time ruling Asgard, he realised was… hollow. And you never truly were just a dear friend to him. Nor him to you, even if it was unspoken.
“It was truly never my intention to cause you pain.” Loki spoke lowly, side-glancing at you, trying to gauge your every reaction to his words. “Thor… on the other hand.” He added wryly, raising a brow. “I suppose apart of me… wanted him to feel it. So he understood.” It was spoken as if he was processing it in real time. Your gaze drifted to Loki, eyeing his profile as he spoke. “And when you came to Odin… to me…” He corrected before pausing. “And asked to return to Midgard, to live your life among the mortals I once sought to rule…” He let out a quiet breath. “I could do nothing but allow it. Knowing the hurt I had caused, the rift I had created…”
Loki’s words hung in the air, a subtle tension hanging with them as you bit your lower lip lightly, unclasping your hands to sit up straight, keeping them resting on your knees. “Midgard…” You began softly. “The time I spent there after New York, aiding them rebuild their city… It gave me purpose.” You turned your head to look at him properly. “Odin had forbidden me from seeing you in your cell, Thor was with Jane and I…” You sighed. “I just wanted to do something… good.”
Loki listened intently, his expression neutral, if not slightly more tender than his usual look of indifference. He waited for you to continue, not wanting to interrupt. “And then after… thinking you were dead on Svartalfheim…” You shook your head. “I just… couldn’t bear being home.”
Loki felt a pang in his usually guarded heart at those words, his head dipping as he moved a hand to the bridge of his nose. Odin’s words when he sent him away still clung to the corners of his mind.
“You will not see them again, you have done enough damage there.”
In his own way, he thought he was protecting you. Stopping you from being hurt anymore by making you believe he was dead.
“I thought-“ He cleared his throat, lifting his head. “After everything I had done…” He trailed off, not daring to look at you.
“That what?” You blinked, furrowing your brows. “I just… wouldn’t care?” You breathed out, disbelief in your voice. Loki finally then took the risk of glancing at you, seeing the bewildered look on your features. “You think… that after everything, the good and the bad, that I wouldn’t care if you were gone?” Loki stayed quiet, but the look on his face told you all you needed to know. “You’re an idiot.” You huffed, shaking your head, pushing yourself to your feet as Loki blinked at your reaction. “You are… an A-Grade idiot.”
“I see Midgard has also taught you some rather interesting language-“ He quipped wryly, brows furrowing as he stayed seated, a hand moving to a small shrug. You turned round to look at him, hands on your hips.
“Midgard taught me a lot, thank you.” You snapped slightly, letting out a breath as you looked out the window across the room once again. “I could’ve left you to your own designs in New York, let the others handle it, but when Thor told me you were alive, what you were planning, I demanded to go with him.” You looked down at him again, searching his upturned gaze. “When Odin forbid me from seeing you in your cell, sending me to Midgard to clear up your mess, all I could think about was what you were thinking, how you were feeling.” You saw Loki’s brows begin to unknit, a flash of emotion going through his ice blue eyes. “And then when we fought side by side on Svartalfheim, I thought it was a fresh start. Us, fighting side by side…” Your voice wavered faintly, but Loki noticed as he gracefully got to his feet. “To watch you die.” You whispered.
Loki swallowed the lump in his throat, taking a tentative step closer, one hand slightly outstretched, as if he was approaching a startled animal. “To find out, you were alive for four years. Four years, Loki.” Your voice raised slightly, anger surfacing. “And even now, you are plotting and scheming. It never ends, does it?”
Loki’s eyelids fluttered briefly, face lowering to look down at his leather boots as he tried to think of what to say - what you would want him to say. “What can I say? I’m an opportunist.” He finally spoke, words quiet. Usually, those words would’ve been laced with wry humour, but instead they were almost honest sounding. He lifted his face, eyes flickering to your hands on your hips as he took a leap of chance, reaching for one of your hands. He was surprised when you didn’t snatch your hand away, but didn’t let it show.
“You…” He breathed out. “Are… a defender. Just like you always wanted to be.” He spoke softly. “I am… proud…” The words felt slightly foreign on his tongue, such open sentiment. “-of how far you have come.” His words were almost a whisper, as your own gaze threaten to soften. “And I… am still searching.” He gave a brief, solemn smile. “Searching for what I want to be.” He paused. “I do what I do because… it’s what I know how… to do.” His eyes searched yours, as if you had the answer, but knowing that ultimately, it was he who needed to work it out. “I don’t enjoy hurting people. I do it… because I have to, because I’ve had to.”
Your gaze finally softened, shoulders relaxing slightly as you took in his admission. You always knew that the Loki he portrayed to most was a mask, a defence mechanism… Yes, he was mischievous and cunning, but he was also multifaceted. You had seen it yourself. He was capable of so much more than the hollow quest he strived for.
“I know.” You whispered, squeezing his hand lightly. “But going round in circles, it’s never going to give you what you’re searching for. You can’t… discover if you don’t do something new.” You continued lowly, raising a brow. “Maybe, whatever you’re truly searching for isn’t a throne, or to rule or whatever else that falls under that umbrella, but maybe what you’re really looking for is-“
But before you could finish your thought, Loki’s lips had pressed to yours. You froze for a moment, taken back, before feeling yourself relax, his hand gently squeezing yours as his free one came to gently cup your cheek. Closing your eyes, you allowed yourself to melt into the kiss - a kiss you had been waiting centuries for. His kiss was as tender as it was passionate, reverent even. It was a kiss that took your breath away - at the risk of sounding cliche.
After a moment, you broke apart, Loki pulling back to observe your face, eyes flickering over your features in a questioning way, wondering if he had overstepped, if he had done the right thing by… being vulnerable. When your eyes finally reopened, finding his, the look on his face was a mix of nerves and contentment, a strange contradiction… Very Loki.
“What… what was that for?” You breathed out, still slightly in awe at the way your heart was beating in your chest. Loki blinked, raising his brows.
“Well, you… did say that I couldn’t discover if I didn’t try something new…” He said lowly, tone holding a hint of his usual cheekiness that made your lip twitch, threatening to smile.
“And?” You asked quietly, his hand still in yours, his other still cupping your cheek gently.
“And I…” He cleared his throat. “I- uh- think I rather like this… ‘something new’.” His lips quirked up into a faint smirk, eyes glimmering with hope and care, possibly even excitement. “If you like it as well, of course-“ He added, slightly rushed, a little awkward.
“No, yeah- I mean-“ You nodded, clearing your own throat. “Yeah. I like it.”
“Yeah?” Loki raised a brow, voice breathy.
“Yeah.” You smiled softly, once more squeezing his hand in assurance as Loki let his own lips be tugged into a small, almost bashful smile.
“To something new.”

Personal review regarding what if…? season 2 episode 8 (spoilers)
No ok, I must admit, the episode was good in some aspects.
Wanda was majestic. Loki and Scott were hilarious and I loved every single moment with them.
Thor was amazing, dark and serious out of loss but still enjoyable, and the crumbs of his relationship with Hela were very nice.
I’ve actually liked Tony for the very first time in my life, probably because I tend to like him a lot more in AUs and fanfictions than I do in the normal timeline.
And then… there were those two.
I will never comprehend why marvel wants Steve to be so dependent on Peggy. And I will never comprehend why, to make him interact with her, they have to destroy or sideline every other relationship he has built, or make his character flat.
Bucky being friends with Scott was amazing, but the fact that him and Steve interacted like two times was extremely disappointing. You’d expect “best friends in every universe”, if you dislike the romantic pairing so much, to acknowledge themselves for more than a few scenes, in only one of which they’re in frame together (Bucky was literally 😐 while his best friend disappeared, come on now).
And the storyline about Peggy coming from another world to save the universe was just… Mbah. It could’ve been executed in another way without including her and it still would have made sense. It really feels like a Y/N insert.
Seeing literally any other character was so good, so fun, and they had to ruin it this way, making Peggy once again the self insert and girlboss she didn’t need to be.
Plus, forgive my constant complaining, but it’s extremely infuriating how all of Steve’s friends were eliminated to put the focus solely on Peggy. Where’s Sam? Where’s Nat? Where’s Clint? It’s not an underrated friendship we’re talking about, a big chunk of the fandom loves the cap quartet or team cap, and after civil war it would have been nice to see them interact, especially after its popularity and popular demand. Outlaw team cap would have been glorious, a good chance to bring back many characters who aren’t here anymore in the right way, and involve characters that are rarely involved in What if in the storyline, for a change.
The treatment of Sam in this series particularly angers me, and even more so in this episode. I understand not involving him in other storylines, but Sam was a big part of CATWS and he wasn’t even in the episode centered on that film. What, because Steve met him while running he can’t be introduced in any other way? And oh, there’s no excuse for this episode. If there was one episode they could have placed Sam in, it was this one. Sam was there in infinity war, where the mess happened, and he should have been with the other avengers in this one.
If marvel wanted to involve someone from another universe so bad, it should have been a Captain America Sam from another universe. Can you imagine the poetry of seeing Steve and Nat again after endgame? Can you imagine having closure with them both, and having fun in the process? It would have been so great.
Another great storyline without involving characters from other universes would have been one where Steve, who touched the time stone, accidentally brought everyone in the past, and he was the only one to remember it. And to go back and prevent everyone’s distraction, he had to recruit the avengers, who don’t know him and don’t trust him but that in the end become his friends and companions. It would have been so interesting to see the original avengers involved in something different from being some side characters or extras in the one woman show that seems to be What if, constantly centered around the same bland, one dimensional reimagined side character. Peggy’s blandness is so obvious in these episodes (aside for some random remarks that made me smile) that literally everyone who’s involved directly with her must be bland like her, otherwise risking to overshadow her.
I don’t think I was supposed to cringe and look away as much as I did during Steggy’s forced scenes, but I did. If they had to force Steggy and Peggy down our throats, at least they could have done something different from the same bland and boring storyline as always. I wouldn’t be as mad as I am now if Peggy and Steve’s relationship wasn’t as bland. I would have preferred an enemies to lovers type of twist or change, where Steve doesn’t trust Peggy and struggles with her because he sees in her a different version of the Peggy that died in that universe. But noooo, god forbid, let’s go with the same old song.
An episode five or ten minutes longer with a better, avengers-centric or Steve-centric storyline would have been much better than what we got.
And given that this was my most anticipated episode, I was very disappointed by it. I hope for the next seasons, if there’s other ones, Marvel will listen to the general complaint regarding Peggy and will give her a break. I don’t think any of the original avengers or relevant MCU characters made as much appearances as Peggy, and being a main focus in four episodes out of nine is ridiculous.

Because I'm Bored:
Where do I rank in terms of MCU Loki Apologism?
Things I think Loki was justified in doing:
1. Killing Laufey-For all he knows, this was the man that abandoned him to die from exposure. This is revenge in its purest form and ALSO a way to show his loyalty to Asgard and Odin. And based on the original script, Loki was illegitimate and an unwanted runt abandoned to die (I also think he is not fully Jotun, and I think this played into WHY he was abandoned).
2.Lying to Thor about Odin’s death and his banishment-Loki just discovered he is a Frost Giant, like the ones Thor swore to kill, has been shown to have killed at the slightest provocation, and Asgard thinks of as monsters. Making sure Thor does not return is self-preservation. As a closeted person, I find the idea that Loki should have told Thor or known he would understand, ridiculous.Have you all not heard of living situations with bigoted relatives with a history of violence?
3. Nearly killing Thor with the Destroyer-Notice his previous attempt to keep Thor away did not involve violence and would have sufficed if Thor’s friends had not interfered… Say you have a brother that hates people like you, with a history of violent behavior towards people like you, and with the ability to fry the fuck out of you or smash you into puree with his magic hammer. Would you like to have that brother around?
4. Impersonating Odin and sending Odin to a retirement home-It’s self-preservation. Frigga’s no longer there to plead for his life. And I find it hilarious he was the only one to give Odin a taste of his own medicine. GOOD FOR HER! And how the fuck would he have known about Hela? Odin had been able to break through Loki’s magic, but he just decided to chill on Earth for some reason, and dump Hela’s existence on them.
By the way, I saw an interesting theory that Odin remained on Earth to strand Hela on Midgard so that she’d lay waste to Midgard instead of Asgard, but Loki calling the Bifrost changed that, ironically saving Earth and dooming Asgard. Technically, that would mean Loki unknowingly doomed Asgard, but I am not mad. How much like Odin to shuck his problems away for others to deal with.
5.Escaping from the TVA the first chance he gets. Self-preservation.
6. Being the Villain. Technically, that’s the TVA’s fault. They’ve pruned Lokis whenever they veer away from their ordained path. LOL I feel like Villain PR saying this and I am laughing my ass off. And although it’s for shits and giggles, it’s technically true in the MCU?
Loki’s not justified in:
1. Letting the Jotuns in for shits and giggles. I have seen way to many people claim it’s because he cared for Asgard, and that’s bullshit. He was jealous of Thor and he has no qualms sacrificing others (like the handful of dead guards and Jotuns) to fulfill his plans.
2.Attempted genocide of Jotunheim. Self-explanatory. He was only wronged by one Jotun, not the entire realm, and even if the entire realm had wronged him, genocide is NEVER a warranted option.
3. Cutting Sif’s hair. That’s just unnecessarily cruel. I headcannon he likes to sabotage relationships.
4. The attempted betrayal at Sakaar. Not sure what was going on through his head at that point. I think he got angry because Thor compared him to Sakaar, which he actually hates, and seemed to have given up on him. Or does he think keeping Thor and himself on Sakaar will keep them safer because they won’t confront Hela? I will go with a bit of both. I could DEFINITELY go into Villain PR mode and argue he was justified in trying to keep Thor “safe” in Sakaar because the Revengers didn’t really have a plan other than “go back to Asgard and try to fight Hela and die trying”. But I still don’t personally think it was “justified.”
5. Stabbing Thor. I just included it because it’s not justified based on context, since it came out of nowhere. But I would not use it to condemn how “Evil” Loki has ALWAYS BEEN in those posts complaining about Loki’s woobification. I would need more context on how grave an injury that would be for Asgardians. Is it some typical childhood game/fights wound? Asgardians survive being Hulk smashed, the void, impaled, and a freaking Neutron star. A stab seems like a slap in comparison. It has the same level of justification as slapping your sibling in the face when you were a kid. Unjustified, but not a big deal.
Things I am on the fence about:
1. Whatever the fuck happened for him to end up with Thanos. It’s unclear how much was him and how much was the mind stone, coercion, or some other kind of mindfuckery (there are altered memories (being yeeted by Thor into the Void rather than letting go) and that scene with the Other implying threats, past torture, psychic pain, or future torture). I think he wasn’t exactly innocent nor entirely willing. I think he saw Earth as his brother’s ant farm that he will fuck around with out of revenge, he approached Thanos willingly, but then the Black Order gained too much leverage and control on him, and the situation snowballed out of his control into an avalanche.
Another head-cannon I have is that Loki actually died in the void, but was brought back from Hel. He was willing to do anything to avoid returning there, and it’s why he made sure to try to die in battle in TDW and IW. The need to avoid Hel cultivated a fucked up sense of gratefulness and vulnerability that was exploited by the Black Order (maybe I will write it sometime). I think this because him and Thanos talk too much about resurrections and dying multiple times. Either of my Head cannons imply threats and therefore coercion, even if the Word-Of-God mind stone influence is not involved. But we also don’t know the how and why Loki ended up with Thanos.
2. I don’t think I can blame him for Frigga’s death. I know he blames himself, and he definitely had some malicious intent when giving directions (not towards Frigga). Giving someone the directions to the stairs shouldn’t exactly change much? It’s not like he plotted with the Dark Elves and disabled Asgard’s defenses. The elves were tracking the Aether and would have found it eventually, and Frigga was protecting Jane and willing to sacrifice herself for Jane. Frigga’s death is more on Jane for being reckless and fucking around with unknown phenomena without a scrap of PPE or caution, becoming a mcguffin for the film’s entirety. Jane has the common sense of white people from horror movies. Woman has no braincells. There, I fucking said it.
3. I don’t know how to feel about the opening scene in IW and I hate it. I just think it was a terrible plan and a waste of character development. And we don’t even know if it had any significant positive effects. It was both self-sacrificial and selfish nonetheless. Did it keep Thanos from killing more Asgardians? Did it only save Thor, and was that the only thing Loki cared about? If so, Loki sacrificed the entire universe for his brother. Very in-character, but it was a waste of sacred timeline Loki.
Things other people were justified in:
1. Heimdall being suspicious of Loki and attempting to behead Loki as the king regent. Heimdall was suspicious of the blind spots in his vision. Who can hide from him? Loki. And then he caught Loki quite red-handed.
2. I don’t know why Thor gets so much shit for not knowing what’s up with Loki in Avengers, and I doubt he could help him or that Loki thinks he would or could help him in the first place.
3. The Hulk giving him the ragdoll treatment. It’s hilarious and the best part of the movie. And I mean, he did wreak havoc in NYC.
4. Thor electrocuting Loki in Ragnarok. Loki was about to betray Thor. And again, they are pretty hardy. Loki survived the Hulk, the void, and impalement. Enough said. Could this have ended horribly for Loki? Of course and there are wonderful DEAD DOVE fics about it.
5. Sylvie being angry after he broke the Tempad and got drunk. Self-explanatory. How the fuck does this ever get called “abusive”? They both could have died because of Loki's tomfoolery.
6. Sylvie killing HWR and sending Loki away. It was not “abusive”, she’s barely known Loki for IDK how long. Compare that to having a goal for millenia. And she sent him away because she didn’t want to kill him.
7. Sif kicking him ONCE like it happened in the original timeline because he cut her hair. Self explanatory, and kinda eye for an eye. But what the TVA did was just cruel and unnecessary (and basically torture).
LET ME KNOW IF I MISSED ANY MISDEEDS

S2 of WHAT IF…
Ep1- “…Nebula joined the Nova Corps?”
Love the bleak opening sequence
Fascinating how Nebula narrates the context. Her “five years of isolation” hits hard.
Nova Prime siding with Ronan was a surprise
Ep2- “…Peter Quill Attacked Earth’s Mightiest Heroes?”
Cool intro; Peter leaning into his inherent powers is interesting…
The Winter Soldier being Gorbachev’s tool to contain Peter is surprising, but not unexpected…
“Does anyone have a plan?”/“I have a plan; retreat.” 😂
Thor announcing that Peter killed off all the Nine Realms except Earth; Peter needed containment to prevent him being too powerful.
Hope breaking Peter out is unexpected.
But Peter defeating his dad is a great ending.
Ep3- “…Happy Hogan Saved Christmas?”
Cool X’mas riff in the beginning music
Avengers Tower… looking festive.
Happy getting accidentally injected with Banner blood is unexpected.
Beethoven’s 9th riff playing when Darcy discovers a whole collection!
“Time for the Hammer to get nailed” 🤣
Overall, great X’mas episode.
Ep4- “…Iron Man Crashed into the Grandmaster?”
Cool that the Guardians of the Multiverse (from S1) are back!
Gamora’s origin story is a Tony Stark episode that looks to focus a bit on Valkyrie? Interesting…
Wonder what Gamora is doing there.
The little Chinchilla is adorable.
Tony with the nicknames (“Technicolor Dream Coat” is a Andrew Lloyd Webber musical reference) is hilarious
Also, Tony building a suit that reforms into a race car on command, and back, is AWESOME
Turns out, Tony inspired Gamora to be a hero.
Gamora melting Thanos, did not see that coming.
Ep5- “…Captain Carter Fought the Hydra Stomper?”
Cool Avengers team; with Carter and Janet instead of Steve and Banner.
It’s kind of what if 2012’s Battle of New York went differently. Then we pick up kind of CATWS but it’s Peggy and Nat.
Peggy’s spin-twist was really cool.
The whole reverse-CATWS but instead of Bucky gone bad and Steve finding out, it’s Steve gone bad and Peggy finding out.
Bucky as a Secretary of State? Did NOT see that coming. But makes sense that Bucky would be the one to try to bring Steve back. Truly a reverse CATWS.
The Stomper Suit keeping Steve alive, I wonder how.
Carter’s hilarious Star Wars reference to carbonite.
Also, the camera panning around Steve and Peggy, is a mirror of the Tony/Pepper one in Endgame.
Melina being part robot is also kind of creepy.
Captain Carter having a musical is hilarious too
Also, the emotional vibes kind of veering into CACW and “Black Widow” territory is quite fascinating.
Peggy disappears thru a portal, only to be greeted by Wanda.
Ep6- “…Kahhori Reshaped the World?”
Ragnarok comes early…
Also, this episode isn’t the first time we see the horrors of Spanish conquistadors invading on native land; we last saw that in Wakanda Forever a few years ago.
But when the Watcher narrates the context, it mirrors the Black Panther movie’s narrative about how the Vibranium came to Earth and ended with the peacemaking between various tribes.
Also great to note that this is the first MCU entry where nobody, except the Watcher (and Stephen Strange at the end) speaks English.
It’s really awesome that the Space Stone energy gives the people from the Sky World (who are formerly Mohawk natives from Earth) and Kahhori very, VERY interesting powers.
KAHHORI MOVED THE PORTAL TO THE LAND!! That is an insane amount of power and strength! That’s wonderful!
Kahhori and her people sinking the Spanish Armada is a sight to behold.
Ep7- “…Hela Found the Ten Rings?”
Hela suddenly being able to speak Putonghua was a surprise.
Odin says that the bearer of Hela’s crown be merciful, which explains why Hela is at first unable to lift it. Just like the first Thor movie.
I kind of wonder why Wenwu would invite Hela to wear a traditional dress; but more importantly, why does he have one ready?
MORRIS RETURNS!! Best fuzzy thing.
Hela visits Talo.
Folding paper. That’s basically Origami. IRL history has it that China has its own paper folding traditions long ago, just like Japan, but separately.
Hela being upset that Fenrir as a puppy was taken from her, is something interesting too.
Asgard, a realm of Norse legend, and Ta Lo, a fictitious Chinese fantasy realm, coming together to free the cosmos, is something I did not see coming.
Ep8- “…the Avengers Assembled in 1602?”
Tom Hiddleston as Loki narrating Hamlet? Not surprising.
Wanda summoned Carter from three episodes ago, and turns out Thor knew about this here.
But what are those portals? Wanda warns to stop them.
Wanda speaks of a lost traveler…
Tony says “Forerunner” but the caption says “person”.
Loki speaking of William Shakespeare writing about Iago in the play Othello.
Rogers Hood. Hilarious combo of Steve Rogers and Robin Hood.
Rogers and Carter double-teaming with the shield is really cool.
Where did the Destroyer come from?
Hogan throwing out all manner of old fashioned insults is hilarious 😆
Also, why is Hogan a hulk in this episode? He was one in the Christmas episode but this one?
Turns out the Forerunner is mainMCU!Steve?
The main effect is that Carter is alone again.
Strange Supreme makes an appearance. Which we leave on a “TBC” for next episode. The fact that he went to fetch Kahhori in Ep6 must mean something big is in the finale…
Ep9- “…Strange Supreme Intervened?”
Interesting; we get the full MCU theme for the title card. We never got the full theme in previous episodes.
Peggy speaks with Strange, who keeps dangerous beings inside their own little crystals.
If the Watcher is a metaphor for us, and Strange implying that the Watcher may not always be right, that means that we might not also always be right about certain things.
Peggy enters South Dakota… where Red Skull (HYDRA) exploded the Tesseract. But why would Kahhori be a danger to the Multiverse, considering Strange net with her last episode? Why is she considered a danger in this one?
Also, Kahhori now speaks English. Not odd, per se, but it helps. She says Strange is “a universe killer.” Which, in some way, he is.
Also, a dragon from Ta Lo, which kinda sells the point.
Hela being insulted that Kahhori sent the swords back is hilarious 😆
Peggy gets an Infinity Armor is pretty to cool. Also, Peggy and Kahhori vs Strange? That’s also really cool.
Peggy gets sent back to her home, but it’s an illusion, and she sees right through it.
Though, playing with the lives of so many people to face Strange, that’s a weird effect, perhaps meant to be “comedic” in a way, but comes off as cruel, which might have been the more intended effect.
Also, the characters falling to the portal just basically overpowering Peggy with their weapons? It’s very interesting because it’s not overpowering her for no reason, she NEEDS to be overpowered to stop an already over-powered Strange. She needs to be MORE than him to win.She gets Hela’s crown, a large sword, and multiple other weapons, while Kahhori uses her powers to lift Thor’s hammers and also uses the Ten Rings. Both Peggy and Kahhori MUST be overpowered to overpower Strange and stop him.
Strange becomes a huge devil monster and falls into the Forge.
Peggy goes to the Watcher.
S2E9 ending exactly as Loki S2E6 did, that’s interesting.

Hello, i would like to see how you write about romantic relationship between Donald an m!Chief. And maybe some reaction on them from sinners that close to the chief like Hela and Hecate etc.
I wasn't expecting to get a request so quickly, but I'm very happy you did! I had a lot of fun writing this. You didn't specify headcanons or imagines, so I went with headcanons! I hope that's what you wanted!
Romantic relationship between Donald and m!Chief
Well, first of all, it takes a while for the relationship to even get to the dating phase.
Seriously, a while – not for lack of feelings, but simply out of being unsure how to go about it. Neither Donald nor the Chief exactly have much experience in the relationships department, though Donald will do his best to avoid talking about that, but their feelings run deep and steady.
In the end, it’s Donald who ends up confessing. Chief thought about it a few times, for sure, but professionality ended up making him bite his tongue. He figured it’d be some sort of scandal if it got out that the Chief of the MBCC had caught romantic feelings for a Sinner and gone so far as to ask them out.
In true Donald fashion, the confession is hilariously awkward and leaves Chief with no small amount of secondhand embarrassment, but it’s also earnestly sweet in its own way. Still, it’s obvious that Donald is leaning hard into romantic stereotypes; flowers, a movie, ice cream… The whole nine yards, really.
It’s not a bad first date; both Chief and Donald enjoy themselves. Yet, they can’t help but walk away from it feeling as though something was missing. The date felt hollow, somehow, and neither of them can quite place their finger on why… At least at first.
Eventually, they both realize what it is: that date seemed so focused on the idealization of a first date, that it didn’t consider who the two of them truly are, or what they’d like.
Chief is the one who comes to Donald, this time. They both agree to give it another try, and their second date is a lot more lowkey; a quiet, stay-at-home movie date, in the recreation area of the Bureau rather than a fancy cinema, or something in a similar fashion.
This date feels a lot more authentic, and isn’t weighed down by an awkward atmosphere. It’s Chief who ends up asking Donald out at the end of the night, and the very flustered but nevertheless thrilled Sinner is eager to accept.
The first few weeks of the relationship are some of the hardest to navigate. Donald is a very thrilled, very eager partner – to the point of overcompensating at times. Chief doesn’t dislike this – in fact, Donald’s golden retriever-like behavior is just another thing that he’s endeared with – but it does get in the way sometimes.
Some frustration is inevitable, but a few incidents and conversations about boundaries later, a comfortable compromise for the both of them is reached. After the initial hurdle, Chief will find himself with a dependable, adoring partner that, while silly and non-serious a lot of the time, genuinely does his best to show up for the Chief and give him the relationship he deserves. Donald, for his part, receives a partner who he can fully trust with every aspect of himself, who he needs to put no pretense up around.
Surprising the expectations of many, this is a couple that sparsely engages in physical intimacy beyond chaste cuddling. After all he’s gone through, Donald’s body is a patchwork of gruesome scars that he’s not entirely comfortable with. Chief is helping him to become more confident in himself every day, and he’s making great progress, but Chief will never force him to do what he’s not comfortable with. So, this relationship is more based on emotional intimacy and quality time spent together.
Regardless of how it manifests, it’s clear to everyone who sees this couple how deeply they adore one another. It’s common to see Chief laughing at one of Donald’s stupid jokes, or to find the Sinner bringing the Chief lunch on a hectic day, or carrying him back to his bed when he falls asleep at his desk.
Romance is something Hecate has never witnessed before, and while she understands it in theory, it still baffles her to see the relationship in practice. Still, she can see that Donald is making Chief happy, and she trusts Donald, so she doesn’t say much about it.
If anyone is going to give Donald a stern lecture, it’s Hella. It takes a while for word to get to her, but once it does, Donald will find a tiny pink ball of fury bearing down on him instantaneously the next time he visits Drifter Camp. It’s not that she’s unhappy with the relationship. She is just, of course, very protective of “that dummy” and issues several extremely colorful threats of what she’ll do with Donald’s bones and intestines if she breaks his heart that leaves the powerful S-Rank trembling in his boots – and that’s not an act. Hella can be scary. Well, sometimes. If you’re Donald.
(Chief scolds Hella for it when he finds out, but he’s mostly just amused.)

For the oc asks:
My ESO Vestige, Hela the Unchosen, finds it hilarious that the blade of Lyris Titanborn's axe is the size of her entire torso (photo evidence included

THAT IS ONE HUGE AX LOL
The whole reason my OC Louis uses daggers over a sword is because he's very...small and genuinely even one handed swords are a bit too big for him to comfortably use.

What If 2-7's title is nicely punned.
"What If Hela found the Ten Rings?" I legit thought they meant the Ten Rings the artifact. But no. They're talking about the Ten Rings the organization. Clever wordplay.
It's amazing how much Hela's personality in this episode is just a mash-up of her siblings. She basically has two modes: Thor Mode and Loki Mode, alternating between Thor's pre-development brash warrior arrogance and Loki's conniving, devious scheming. You can always easily imagine one or the other delivering her lines in her place.
Neither ever really feels like Hela, but it also doesn't feel unlike Hela either; If anything, it calls attention to how little attention the original film paid to defining this character in the first place. Ragnarok Hela was the personification of an idea, moreso than a character. There wasn't a lot to work with here.
I have mixed feelings on this one. On the one hand, the way they examine Hela as herself a victim of Odin's colonialism is a conversation that I don't see enough of in media. This episode is basically, "Okay but can we talk about how Azula is just as much a child of abuse as Zuko is and deserves sympathy too?" I appreciate that.
On the other hand, there's something hilariously on-the-nose about using the personification of colonialism itself as the central protagonist for a straightforward, by-the-book Mighty Whitey tale. Like. Wow. They really did that. Not an ounce of irony or self-awareness. She even whole-ass displaces a local character to step into that spotlight.
And then somewhere in the middle is Wenwu being reframed as a desperately lonely man eager to jump into bed with the first woman to kick his ass; Doesn't matter who. I. Don't. Know. How I feel about that.
So. Yeah. This one had its ups and downs. And then it ends on the funniest note possible.
Hela: I will take your throne only so that I may dismantle your empire. Uatu: And then Hela and Wenwu built the biggest empire ever.
Wait, what. That. Was. Not. The thing she was going to do.
Uatu: It was an empire of LIBERATION.
That's not how empires work. I don't think you understand what that word means. You might as well have said she's doing "equal rights fascism".

10th best marvel movie of all time: Thor Ragnarok
To start off this list of the top 10 best Marvel movies, I'm starting off strong with #10. Thor Ragnarok. This movie is one of the most underrated movies in MCU history, and I'll go down to my grave believing this. Obviously, I'm gonna talk about how it has an amazing character development shown, great comedy, and an amazing villain. Not only those things, but there's also thrilling music and the whole story behind it is just genius.
Not only is the movie itself so good, but watching it just brings back so many good memories. For example, the very first time I saw this movie, it was in theatres with my mom. We would always go watch the new Marvel movies together and share popcorn and orange soda. Even now, on rainy days, when we're both free, this is our go-to movie.
To dive a little more into detail into the character development, Thor specifically had a lot of learning in this movie. Like literally in the first 20 minutes we see his hammer get destroyed and that's what he would really rely himself and his powers on beforehand. For example, whenever he faced a difficult challenge or anything of the sorts, all he had to do was reach his hand out for his hammer. We even saw this happen when he first showed up to Sakaar, he reaches his hand out, and when it's not there it's just an “oh sh$t” moment. This movie really forced him to grow and learn the potential of his powers if he just put his mind to use and concentrated. I really liked to see him develop and mature throughout this movie and see his full potential finally.
Tumblr media
The other character development seen is Loki. He FINALLY starts to become self-aware of all his flaws but doesn't really believe he can change, resulting in him flip-flopping, but this time it's actually kind of sad because we know he's actually trying. I especially love watching Loki's character development in this movie because of my love for Psychology. He's always very conflicted, trying to do what's best but doesn't want to at the same time because it's difficult. I think he is so interesting to analyze throughout the movie.
Tumblr media
To continue, like always, it is just hilarious. I love this aspect of the movie so much because I adore anyone with good humour. It is one of the most important characteristics in a person for me. My dad is the funniest person I know, and he's always cracking jokes that I can't help but laugh at, just like the ones in this movie. He also is a big Marvel fan, so we get to enjoy watching Thor and bonding over the humour.
The characters are just so lovable and funny. Like Korg, this big scary rock man. Turns out he's this super sweet and super humorous character that no one was expecting, but adores to see him in further movies. Korg is definitely one of my favourite characters in this movie. Not only him, but the little jokes cracked here and there by Thor himself, the Hulk, Loki, Valkyrie, and even Stan Lee made a funny appearance. The humour is definitely up-to-date and perfectly timed, it just adds the little details that make this movie so good.
Tumblr media
Furthermore, to dig even deeper into the movie, I'm gonna talk about Hela and what she represents. So she is the main villain, and she is a great example that history is literally written by the victors. Although she is seeking revenge, and that's not all the greatest, she does have a reason to be angry. Her history was completely rewritten to favour the "good guys". I'm not going to go into further detail with that because I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't watched it. Hela had insane potential to be a great hero in the MCU universe, but didn't get the right guidance.
Tumblr media
So yes, this movie is not only hilarious, but there is so much underneath the surface that needs to be acknowledged, so it deserves its spot rightfully at #10.

I just realize one thing about how peoples comparing what wanda did in Westview and what thanos did in infinity war. Thanos is pretty much aware what he did and Wanda is 50:50. (We not talking about MOM because it's suck and confusing)
And it's hilarious that many said what wand did in westvies is more evil than thanos, eeeee are we even see same thing? Let's backwards thanos doing 'random ' genocide for centuries , torture and other stuff and he belive what he did is greater good and fiar, let's not forgetting he 'only ' killed half so make other half life turn out to be bad thing too because it's destroying the half part that life.
And there's Wanda she not really aware what she did (shill guilty but well not really either) , she literally need help and someone and what she did pretty much accident.
And they said wanda is more evil? What's wrong with them. Specially they make new Asgard have infinity Cone, really? I know Asgard value strength but they not that stupid and cruel to put some respect for someone that kill they own peoples. Moral in mcu is a joke
This is what I mean when I say giving toxic men a pass.
Wanda did a bad thing. She was unaware of the pain she was causing. Now that being said, controlling people was still wrong even if it turned out everyone was fine, but that being said that's not even remotely on the same level as killing half of everything and killing as many people as necessary to accomplish that task.
If people think Wanda crossed an unforgivable line, fine. But when people say she's worse than they guy willfully committed mass murder and kidnapped and forced children into being fighters those arguments are not being made in good faith. Like, when people say she was torturing people for months, which there is no proof of in-universe. Again, I'm not saying people are wrong for disliking her. She did do a bad thing for selfish reason, but I'm sick of people trying to make her out to be satanhitler while in the same breath excuse characters who also did bad things.
So, I actually loved Cate Blanchett as Hela despite my issues with Raganrok to the point that I will watch What If...? for more Hela. I still hate Sylvie. Hela is not morally better than Sylvie, it just do to how the characters and story are written I fine Hela enjoyable to watch while Sylvie is an annoyance. That's it you don't have like characters based on their morality.

I like TGC and definitely agree that his portrayal of Aegon was basically the only saving grace in season 1 for the character, but my God, the disconnect between some greens and show!Aegon is hilarious. This is especially the case with Hela*gons and some weird scenarios of their relationship/marriage they tend to have. Like seriously, I can understand frustration and disappointment with the show portrayal of Hel*egon dynamics and Aegon in general because I mostly feel the same, but the way in which some greens misinterpret what we actually see on screen is laughable. True, we haven't been shown much yet, but we DO know for sure what Aegon thinks of Helaena ("she is an idiot") and her comment at the family dinner wasn't really a proof of some blissful marriage. Therefore, all the hate they express for Helaemond (and even Aemond for some reason) in those attempts to romanticize Hel*egon and paint it as a more acceptable and healthier ship are ridiculous. Not to mention all the hypocrisy and the constant need to use Helaena as a weapon against the blacks who worship Rhaenyra. I mean, if you like Helaena and have a genuine interest in her character, why would you only see her as a foil for another character you don't like? And a "gotcha" to the blacks? Also, why would you insist her to be exclusively tied to a man who doesn't even like her, sees her as a creepy weirdo, constantly cheats on her, has numerous bastards, and is a drunkard and a rapist? Because unfortunately, this is the version of Aegon we got. And if we are being honest, even the book version wasn't much better before the war broke. But the interpretations of some Aegon fans (who are mostly also Hel*egons) have nothing to do with the show and they even remind me of Da*myras in this regard. Just ship and let ship. And if some greens really think that Helaemond is the worst thing that could happen to the greens, they are likely in for a big surprise.
i agree with a lot of what you said. it's hard to exist within the ship's fandom if your view of the ship isn't mostly the same as theirs and if you're not a helaemond anti.
the helaeg*n space, in part, has become the home of people who have very set views of what helaeg*n is, have very set views of who helaena is or should be, and some antis who don't even really ship helaegon but they use it to somehow try to discredit and push out helaem*nds.
all of this has made me quiet on the ship because i feel like i would attract hate if i shared thoughts on it. and as you can see the majority opinion is that if you ship helaemond you're not a green...
i don't want to get into discourse again because i've said all that can be said on it but if only they had the 10th of the vile they have for helaemond for rha*nicent and how alicent is porytayed in relation to tb...
but anyway yeah.. i get what you mean.

ABC asks for Hela!
Image for memory
Tumblr media
Realistically, she probably has a confusing amalgamation of accents, since she mostly looks Breton, but she grew up in Eastern Skyrim, but she spent a lot of time around Orcs, but she also got sent to Coldharbour and was kinda mentored by Cadwell and Lyranth, but she escaped and joined House Ravenwatch. So she talks in a wild mix of dialects.
I think it's hilarious that she escaped Coldharbour to immediately team up with the rebel Son of Coldharbour, Verandis Ravenwatch, without knowing it since she lost her memory
Tragically, she has no idea what a reasonable approach to parenting or mentoring is, since she lost her memories and didn't have that good of a home life before that, what with her mother leaving and her father eventually trading her to a daedra for power, and then being mentored by a dremora and a madman in Coldharbour. It makes her rather confused when Lyris and Fennorian try to actually keep her safe during the early parts of the Western Skyrim storyline
