---------------------------------
College is hard enough, early morning classes, late nights spent studying, countless hours of being on campus, eyes glued a to computer screen with a sore back and raging migraines. So why do you do it? Why not get a full-time job after high school, move out on your own, and try to make good meaning of your life? It could all be so simple, yet you chose the not so simple route.
“Class will resume Wednesday, make sure you all of our sections 1-4 and come back ready to discuss” The chirpy behavior seemed so painful to bear at 8 am on a cold Monday morning. A cringing realization that this profession will soon become your reality, teaching.
Standing to your feet with all the feeling rushing back through your veins that had fallen asleep hours ago due to inactivity. Slinging on your bookbag slowly making your way into the empty halls of the Education Department. The fresh morning sun beamed through the tinted windowpanes with a poorly faded decal of the infamous UConn Husky mascot plastered in each corner. By the time the rusted elevator reached the lower level, there were exactly 10 minutes left to arrive to your next class “Identity and Communication”
This was another hard stop in the hard you’ve solemnly adjusted to after finding out you had to take a graduate class as an elective in order to graduate next year. Nevertheless, the class only had an underwhelming total of 15 students with little to no excitement. Granted it was only week 3, yet it felt like years had passed.
Within 5 minutes to spare, you sat in the middle row as you do every day, causally observing the students dragging their feet through the doorway. The professor never really left his desk unless he felt like actually teaching us something besides numerous PowerPoints. As the slideshow went along you found yourself getting lost in the coloring app you used religiously on your iPad, since nobody sat behind you, there was no use in hiding it. Picking out your next color carefully, a cold breeze moved past you nearly sending your Apple Pencil flying to the ground. Looking up in annoyance you were met with nothing. Swiftly turning your head just enough to look behind you, you were met with a pair of blue irises glossed over, accompanied by a shade of purple glasses that framed her face to near perfection.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt your uh.. coloring thing” her eyes darting to your screen on full display. A small smirk formed across her face “What app is that tho? I might need to download it”
“It’s called um- Color Rouge” answering softly to hide the sheer panic rising through your blood. Out of all the years you’ve attended UConn, not once have you seen their star-studded player, at least not this up close and personal before. Social media doesn’t give her enough justice.
“Bet say less” She nodded, sitting back in her seat, spreading her long legs, knees slightly pushing the back of your seat. Her slim veiny hands pulled out an iPad similar to yours, except hers was much bigger, fitted with a lavender-purple case. You didn’t dare let your eyes wander further down, shifting your attention back to the front of the class, no longer interested in the content being shown on the screen, or your “coloring thing”
How have you never seen her before in this class?
You’re not the greatest when it comes to paying attention but surely you wouldn’t miss someone like Paige.
An airdrop notification appeared on your screen, the name PB starred at the top. Slicing your thoughts in half as you accepted it without thinking twice. The notes app opened as it read “do you happen to have a charger?"
Your eyebrows raised as you searched through your bag, praying you had remembered to grab it this morning. Eventually grabbing the cord that was accustomed by bright pink protectors to keep it from tangling, Turning back to her figure you placed the charger in her hands, softly grazing her fingertips unconsciously.
Paige's eyes wandered across your face shameless before dropping her gaze to the cord "Everything's gotta be pink huh?"
She had already observed your pink iPad case, pink phone case, pink water bottle, and of course, your pink bookbag. Usually your nails would be coated in a shade of pink but, in honor of the fall season, you decided to go with a deep shade of mocha brown with gold accents swirled on your ring fingers.
"Yea I love pink, you don't like pink?" you prodded in confusion, more so amused by her way of conversing so easily with a stranger.
"No I like pink but, Ion think I'll ever achieve your level of favoritism", I appreciate it though"
Her tone was hard to read, you couldn't tell if she was being smart or if it was just her. To make matters worse, you kinda liked it.
"You're welcome, y'know you could've just asked me instead of sending me a note" you voiced, now completely facing her.
"Nah there's no fun in that" shaking her head “I jus wanna make sure I keep your attention pretty girl”
Oh She had it, easily.
This was going to be a long semester

i think Sophie's personality took a nose-dive when Shannon over 'girl-bossed' the entire narrative surrounding all the girls in the books.
does this make sense??
I loved Sophie books 1-5. She had a fierceness and heroicness and a willingness to do what she believed was right from the get-go. But then somewhere along the line her already existing personality traits were shoehorned into this cringe label and over-saturated by characters like Ro who are always like "Girl power! and glitter!"
Sophie had so many great traits from the start-- but lately, her character almost feels like a caricature of those traits.
and I am NOT saying there is anything wrong with empowering women and girls-- however, the writing comes off as weak when it's spoon-fed to you that THAT is how you're supposed to perceive the character. Sophie was cool and smart and empowered way before the narrative decided to become "aware" of it in a textual sense. She was cool as hell before the books ever went "NOW THAT'S A STRONG AND POWERFUL GIRL!!! SEE THAT STRONG AND POWERFUL GIRL??? SHE"S SUCH A STRONG AND POWERFUL GIRL" like??? mf?? I READ the books. I ALREADY KNOW.
She was a leader from the beginning. She was a leader because she cared enough to do something about something. Way before the Black Swan named her the moonlark, and the leader of Team Valiant.
And she continued to develop those leadership skills over the books, until at some point, the writing became too aware of her development and shoved it into your face, instead of it being a subtle arc that spoke for itself.
but also... the way Shannon seems to want to sell her development doesn't exactly match with what she's written. There are moments in the books where characters shower Sophie in compliments that come off as generally untrue...
One of the defining aspects of Sophie's personality is her insecurity and secrecy. Which are traits that can be annoying at times, but are realistic. Regardless of those traits though, she still had dimensions and was willing to stand up for what she believed in from the beginning. The thing is, her insecurity never quite went away. If you read any of the later books, she has crippling self-doubt and identity issues. But then you have characters like Ro coming in and saying things like "Ur so confident!" and it just comes off as a very strange cognitive dissonance in the narrative.
No, Sophie isn't confident in her ability to lead, regardless of what the books say in small tidbits, when the whole of the books show that she is quite insecure, but believes in her values enough to do something to protect them-- which automatically shoe horns her into a leadership role.
What was admirable about Sophie's character was not her confidence. And is not her confidence. She's admirable because she's deeply insecure and flawed and not an amazing leader, but that she still tries. Sophie is a leader because she tries, because she steps out and says "this isn't right!" not because she's actually good at it. She does not have a lot of the typical qualities that make good leaders. She's not very outspoken most of the time, she's insecure, she's more introverted-- she's just a character who is justice oriented, so she rises above those feelings. WHICH IS A BETTER NARRATIVE CHOICE THAN "No Foster, ur actually a perfect leader <3"
I boil this down to:
TWO CONTRADICTING TRAITS CAN EXIST AT THE SAME TIME.
Sophie is insecure, and lacks confidence. But she's also moral, and therefore does her best to be a leader.
She's brave. Not confident.
am I making any sense??? I feel like I have a point and it's getting lost a bit here. Maybe I'll come back and clarify things another time. rn I'm tired.
ALSO: I fear the same thing happened to Biana and Linh.
I deadass think the introduction of Ro is what began it all. She's a try-hard character for female empowerment, that comes off as very forced and shallow.

TW: SENSITIVE TOPICS??
Because Color canonically almost died. (if it weren't for Gaster having to pick up the broken pieces that were left of him when trying to escape the void) do you think Color would be this desperate and suicidal for freedom? Has he gained his kindness to save Killer from knowing how it feels to be caged in pits of despair and darkness?
-COUGHZ.. one of your mutuals:3 (GUESS WHICH ONE!!)
i cannot guess because i cannot handle being publicly wrong and also embarrassed ever. /hj
but i am also not good at remembering moot names except for a few, and also i have a moot with a typing quirk where the ‘s’ in words are replaced with Z’s. Like thiz. so that stands out.
but i can only think of 3 moots rn who talk about color as much as i do (theres probably more but these r all i can remember). those are Ozzie, toffee, and ano. but i ultimately have no way of knowing 😔. I don’t appreciate being put on the spot like this, anon. /lh
and i dont think he gained kindness from this exactly, but rather his experience gave him first hand understanding of the feelings—he can tell when someone is only doing or saying they want something because it’ll appease others, convincing themselves they want it too, and so that makes everything okay.
i think he is always pretty kind, even without understanding something or someone, but his understanding and his perseverance and patience in trying to understand is what stands out to killer particularly. his kindness also stands out a lot too, but so does the sense of intense injustice color feels on his behalf.
so i think its a mix of personal understanding, perseverance in trying to understand when he fails to initially, kindness, and his sense of justice (such as his belief that another’s autonomy should always be respected and protected) that spurs him into trying to find a right way to approach killer. his bravery to keep trying and integrity are spurred on by the more he starts to understand, and relate.
so i think that even if color couldn’t personally relate, he’d still try to save killer—because he can see how it feels, all over his face. he can see how his words do not match his actions do not match his facial expressions. but it’s because he knows how it feels, has experience with it, that he gets anywhere with killer at all. because that understanding signaled safety for stage 1.
which was another big hang up killer had with swap—that swap didn’t, couldn’t, know what he feels, despite how swap claimed to know how killer “doesn’t want this” and “wants to saved.”
because how in the world could swap know these things about killer, when he himself doesn’t even know what he wants. color understands this, and how it feels—and he doesn’t approach killer from a “i know what’s good for you” angle.
he’s able to see that killer doesn’t truly want what he says he does in Stage 2 (that he’s not happy with what he currently has and what he currently does, despite all his claims about the fun he’s having and the player wants it so he wants it, and how nightmare “asked” him to, and he wants this he wants this and every single rational he can come up with that’ll make it all okay and something he chose to do rather than something he couldn’t even say no to) and he attempts to get him to admit that and be honest with himself for once, but he doesn’t ever say killer has to do this, or do that, or think this. just that he should stop hurting himself for others—something color knows all too well.
it is killer that asks to be saved, because he wants to be. and he tells color this because he can tell that color understands—which is also probably the reason why killer kept trying to push him away.
why he keeps pushing him away in stage 2–because killer definitely wouldn’t like someone trying to understand him when he’s like that. his whole thing is trying to remain unpredictable, and not give anyone any power or control over him—especially not over his mind.
he just needs awhile to realize and trust that color has no intentions to cause him harm, and isn’t trying to hurt him by “taking away” what he knows and rather it is what he knows that is hurting him.
Alexa, play Hey Ya! by OutKast.
off topic, but i love that color never rushed killer to make any type of choice—just was there to help, support, and challenge him. make him aware how the situation he’s in now isn’t helping him at all and it doesn’t have to be that way, that theres always something new out there and he’s willing to show him—however long it takes, whenever he’s ready, if killer ever wants it. that this life isn’t the only option left available to him.

Okay, so I have to confess, I haven't actually read the comics, but recently I've gotten really into the DC fandom, and I have a kind of weird request.
I've always had an interest in teen heroes, particularly the psychological and physical impact that comes from doing something so dangerous at such a young age, and often for years. I've been doing some research into the teens, particularly Conner, Cassie, Tim, and Bart, and when I found out that both Conner and Bart died, it made me wonder: how many heroes died as teens? How many came back?
So, for the request. Actually, technically it's two requets.
The first: could DC fans, of any kind (comics, shows, movies, etc.) tell me any of the deaths they remember? I know of a few (Bart, Conner, Jason, Damian), but I don't know if there were others. More specifically, would you all be so kind as to format it like this:
[name]-[age at death]-[cause of death]-[revived?] Ex: Jason Todd - 15(?) - Killed by the Joker - Revived
It doesn't have to be too specific, just enough to give me a base for further research. Honestly, just put as much info as you want.
The second request: how many teen heroes have there been? They don't have to currently be teens either - just how many started off younger than like, their early 20s? (Yes I am well aware that's older than teens, but I count them anyway because they were young.) I know there are a handful (the Robins, Teen Titans (?), Young Justice), but I don't know who they are, and every time I look it up, it feels like it changes.
Also, just out of curiosity, who i your favorite DC character, and why? Mine is Bart Allen (today) because he is a little goblin, and I love him He's precious.
Thank you so much to whoever comments!

Hello dear 💗
Make me write ✍🏻
NSFW under cut
🎓 🎓🎓🎓
“I could get fired if anyone found out about this” Eddie breathes out against the soft curve of Buck’s neck, slipping his hands underneath the hem of Buck’s shirt. A wave of heat connects with his fingertips, almost luring him in and at that moment, he knows that he’s lost. Lost in the feeling and taste and smell of one Evan Buckley. And he knows that he wants to stay there for as long as he possibly can.
Firm hands connect with his hips, pulling him closer and then make their way into Eddie’s hair, slightly tugging at it and Eddie hates how easily that sends all the blood rushing from his head to his already aching cock.
“Better make it worth your while then” Buck murmurs, opening his eyes to look at the man in front of him and their lips connect in a sloppy, passionate and almost dirty kiss as Buck yanks at Eddie’s shirt, sending buttons flying everywhere around them.
“Mhm… I really liked that shirt” Eddie breathes out against Buck’s lips, then glances down at his naked chest and Buck just smiles, looking immensely pleased with himself.
“Liked being the keyword here, professor. Semantics are important, you taught me that” Buck whispers before his lips graze against Eddie’s bare nipple.
❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
“Why the hell do you never know when to shut up?” Eddie hisses through gritted teeth and Buck’s smile just grows bigger, knowing whatever Eddie is going to do to him is going to be the best thing that ever happens to him.
“Guess you haven’t given me reason to shut up yet, lieutenant” Buck tilts his head as he slowly unties his sweatpants, letting his fingertips slip beneath the waistband as he never loses eye contact with the older man.
It sends Eddie’s blood pressure rocketing to see Buck touching himself and he’s barely even doing anything - until he is. Eddie sees Buck’s hand grabbing around his own cock and he slowly begins to jerk himself off without ever breaking eye contact.
“Enough!” Eddie raises his voice but Buck doesn’t stop, it only seems to egg him on and soon he begins to moan too, panting Eddie’s name as he touches himself. It only takes Eddie four long strides before he makes it across the room, grabs Buck by the wrists and pins him up against the wall, ass pressed against his cock and he can tell that it’s giving Buck exactly what he wants.
He backs away and to his surprise, Buck stays in place but reacts to the sound of Eddie opening his belt buckle, pink lip tugged in between his teeth as he watches Eddie getting fully undressed. “Instead of mouthing off, I think we should put that mouth to good use” Eddie spins Buck around and Buck almost instinctively drops to his knees in front of him and all of the dirty fantasies that Eddie has ever had about this moment could never do the real thing justice.
⛪️⛪️⛪️⛪️
“Los Diablos Rojos? Eddie, those guys are bad news” Buck says, frowning a little. He hears how it sounds, coming from him, as if he hasn’t done regrettable things in his life and as if he hasn’t made people hurt and suffer.
But Eddie is out of that life now. At least he’s supposed to be. And Buck feels an instant wave of anger and guilt washing over him, because he has a feeling that this has something to do with him. They’re using Eddie as leverage to make him back out of a deal with another gang.
“Yeah, you don’t have to tell me that” Eddie mumbles, a bitter taste in his mouth forming in his mouth as he gets a moment to think about his past.
This is why he doesn’t let anybody in. This is why he doesn’t trust anyone. Because people get hurt. Because he gets hurt. And the last thing he wants is for Buck to get hurt.

I feel like I see so many contrasting opinions on jobs for Bart when he’s older, ranging from scientist, super suit designer, cop (ew), unemployed and bouncing between part time things, etc. Honestly of those I know my personal favorites are fashion design and kinda bouncing between part time courier jobs (he’s never seemed like a full time kinda person to me tbh).
But I got to thinkin about it, what is one thing that we know Bart loves more than most other things? Video Games.
I propose this, indie video game designer/freelance artist Bart.
It makes sense in my head, Bart’d be bitching to Preston or Kon about how he’s beat like an ungodly amount of games and is getting bored/needs something new to play. They would make an offhand comment, joking about making one himself and I think he would find the idea intriguing. (Or honestly Helen could have suggested it after listening to Max get on Bart about needing to do something responsible to make a living & Bart shutting down).
I think that between hero work it would give him a creative outlet for his hyperfixations. Plus he’d probably have a blast figuring it all out. The first couple of games would be simple, figuring out the basics, but after those I can see him getting like really focused on a passion project game that he fully codes and illustrates. (He probably makes a young justice game, or skins in the games of his friends)
He’d definitely become a hit in the indie gaming community for the unique controls and mechanics in his games. People would reach out and ask him to help make their games, and eventually people would just start becoming really excited for whatever project he was working on.
Meanwhile he’s still just chilling with his friends in his free time, letting them playtest his games and taking suggestions on what the funniest easter egg could be. I think he’d mostly be couch surfing, hopping between staying with friends and “family” members on a whim. Usually chilling wherever the YJ was or hanging out at Carol, Preston, or Rolly’s.
Just feels more fun than him being a DC brand of “scientist” (no specific generalization or study) or cop (again ew). Plus he could still design hero suits while doing this (i like that headcanon, its fun)

between Dread continuing from a game on GBA (and really every game prior to that too) and Prime 4 continuing from 2 games on GameCube and Original DS, Metroid has the longest narrative endurance of any multi-creator series I've ever seen. Threads left in stasis decades ago when the series was shelved picked right back up once development resumes—an entire generation of developers later—like nothing ever happened

i didn't think i cared much for n's final battle theme bc i'm a sucker for melodically strong pieces aka certified bangers. but i must say it does a good job at making you uncomfortable when you really listen to the details. it's got tritones, clock ticking sounds, heartbeats, fire and lighting sound effects for reshiram and zekrom, up and down flights, ominous choir, plenty of dissonance. i woke up in a cold sweat at like 5am today with it hauntingly stuck in my head for some reason and that makes it deserving of my respect
#i would have preferred something more melodic to go with the theme of his heroic and pure heart. and his name#but it does a good job at being like hey there really is something genuinely wrong with this man#it sure sounds.. unnatural.......#he is undoubtedly human and full of love and justice. but he's also broken and misguided#he's barely had any real human interactions in his life and has like no social skills#he has at least one confirmed supernatural power in being able to speak to pokémon#apparently the ticking clocks were supposed to represent the ability to see into the past/future that got scrapped?#but i feel like that's still at least partially canon bc he does mention something like that#the ticking clocks and heartbeats at once are so unsettling. like a duality between machine and human#he's a human being who's been raised to be. less than that. treated as a pawn#obsessed with precise calculations. literally called a 'freak without a human heart'#alternatively it could be meant to represent like hey here's him breaking down and losing it#he already knows he's wrong but can't let go of it yet#they could've included the theme of mechanical calculations but still included a solid melody for his true heart#but his true heart is clouded at that point#man i love blorbo#i need to study him#pokémon#and see. ghetsis' battle theme similarly is dissonant and ominous rather than catchy#so maybe n's thing is that since he's doing all this as ghetsis' puppet#but also like ghetsis' is way more simple and n's is frantic and chaotic#to show how ghetsis is pretty much just pure evil and self-absorbed (the man has choir chanting his name!!!)#but n is conflicted and troubled inside and doesn't even know who he is anymore#natural harmonia more like. unnatural disharmonia#(is 'gropius' also a music thing i genuinely don't know)#bw

dubbs!!! saw u posting about fields of mistria. im considering buying it and i wanted to know is it actually pretty good ? like would u consider it worth it
I've been really really enjoying it! I think there's a lot of features in this game that make it quite fun :D
I was writing a whole essay about all the features but perhaps the devs themselves can do that better than me. You can read about everything available in early access here, along with what they're planning to add/update in the near future
What I will say is I have found everything available in early access to either line up with my experiences in other games, such as the fishing being similar to Animal Crossing, or donating to the museum being reminiscent of bundles in Stardew. Or to be fun and refreshing like the magic spells and skill perks feeling like magic is always present in wherever I go and whatever I do, or the combat in the mines being a step up from every other farming game I've played
I think the biggest appeal to me for this game has definitely been the character art. And something I think this game does better than other farming sims I've played is making the characters feel like they're actually living and doing things with their lives, as they will have conversations with each other and even comment on things you've done or follow up on previous conversations you've had with them
but I will say I've put 50 hours into the game so far and I am feeling like I'm nearing the end of what's available in early access, though I am still very much enjoying playing! I think if I had to summarize my thoughts, as much as I do love this game it is still early access and does not have nearly as many features as say Stardew, but Stardew has been out and updating for 8 years and I think if these devs are just as dedicated to their game as ConcernedApe is to his I think Fields of Mistria has a bright future
imo the game is definitely worth buying rn if you find the early access features appealing and 50 hours of gameplay for whatever price it costs in your region sounds like a good deal to you :D

It always gets me how Justice did not change at all, like, he is not corrupted at all. It makes everything more tragic than it already is. The only thing that changed was his perception, which of course, naturally came due to the change of hosts. I'm mostly taking Awakening Justice into account and how he acts because that is where we can carefully observe him by himself, without Anders' influence on the matter. And his influence is everything on the point I am trying to make.
When we first meet Justice, he is fulfilling his nature of bringing justice to the people he thinks that need it. He is very outspoken about it, and is already ready to take action with or without Warden's help. For a supposedly peaceful spirit that Anders claims to have ruined with his anger, Justice is acting pretty angry here himself (This is not the only time either). This is one of the first things I want to point out that did not change much about the spirit. Justice was always fierce about his cause. However, what stands out to me in these scenes is when the witch calls him out on his idea of justice.
Justice, is that what you are calling it? What of their punishment, burning my house to the ground and with me in it?
Well, in this case, the witch is a demon and mocking Justice for funsies. But what she says actually gives a bit more insight about what kind of a spirit Justice is. The actions do not speak louder than intent to him, as long as it is within the lines he set for himself. In a way, he was always okay with a few… casualties in the name of justice. Even though it is as simple as burning down a house this time. Isn't violence for violence vengeance after all?
While we are on the topic of vengeance, let's not forget the way he is eager on avenging Kristoff, vowing to kill every darkspawn for his cause (I mean the way he literally calls it avenging is enough debate for some people but I want to continue). So how come wanting to take revenge on the offenders that wronged not only his host but many other people, is any different? How did this route did not take him to the road of vengeance but attacking the templars, who are also offenders that wronged his host and other people, is corrupting him?
The answer is of course, that it is not, it did not. There is no difference between those two for Justice, there is no difference between vengeance and justice. Punishing the ones who deserve it is all there is. There is no gray area for spirits the way there is in the mortal world, and we see this clearly in the way he judges Velanna and Nathaniel for their crimes. Despite what I said about him seeing intent before action, now he cannot see beyond their wrongs. This simply shows that if the intent is as clear as violence for violence, he understands. But he does not understand the gray area of Velanna mistaking the innocents as guilty, or Nathaniel taking back what used to be already his.

There might be none for Justice, but there is a difference between darkspawn and templars for mortals. For one, darkspawn are generally mindless, and has no moral compass for us to judge. Whereas templars are just people with different ideals about life, to put it kindly at least. (Which is worse, being a mindless cruel monster, or having the mind and morals to choose to be something else but going for being one anyway? Lol another discussion for another time). Templars are the gray area that Justice lacks the understanding of. When he vows to kill every templar like he did with the darkspawn, he does not suddenly turn into a demon, he is simply punishing the ones that were doing wrong, as he does.
From here we can say that spirits' judgments and mortal's don't exactly match up. Though, there is one idea that seems to match better than others, and that is corruption. As far as we learn from Justice, spirits do not know about corruption any better than we do. Spirit do bad, spirit go bad, right? So, when Justice starts to feel things that are associated with demons, such as envy, he starts to fear corruption. He says he does not want to learn how a demon feels, but he also states that he does see the wishful thinking of a demon wanting to cross the Veil for this world. He is conflicted at best about the whole thing. Still, he does not consider himself corrupted regardless. I think that the reason behind that is simply the fact that generally, the Warden can ease his worries when Justice confides in them. And that is another thing that says a bit about him. He seems to accept the lack of understanding he has in the world, and chooses to listen to someone who does. Though, not just a random anybody, someone he deemed just.
So, let's see. A fade spirit with identity issues and an anxious spirit healer walks into a bar…
When they merged and Justice accepted Anders' cause for himself, and when they went all crazy on the Templars, Anders was scared. He feared the worst immediately because he is taught the worst about possession. He knew that Justice was angry because of him and his ideals about mages. So he blamed himself, called it a corruption he caused. And as I mentioned, Justice is accepting of the fact that he has a lack of understanding of some things. Plus, he was already scared of corruption. So, when Anders, who is an educated mage about possessions and corruption claims that he is slowly corrupting the spirit, they held onto it.
Everyone in their life from this point on, do nothing but egg them on about it, on top of it all. They might not corrupt each other, but everyone else does by pushing them the idea that they are now an abomination. Anders starts to fear the nonexistent corruption more, and Justice is confusing the inability to just wipe all the bad out with sloth. We are talking about a being who comes from the Fade, which can be bent at will and a place of immediate action. This works well in Awakening because we are already fighting darkspawn nonstop, and we are in the middle of a war. But in Kirkwall? Everything requires planning and suspended ideals. Templars bring injustice everywhere they go, yet there is not much they can do. After many years of being held back, it is no wonder Justice is surfacing more and more, itching to fulfill his purpose. Because he was always outspoken, angry at the injustice in the world and eager to bring justice. He did not change, but Anders' morals and his' just did not align the way they thought it would. They forgot that in Justice, there was always a part that was vengeance.
At the end, Justice was one of the most stable parts of Anders' story. He couldn't count his vow in Awakening complete without reaching the root of the problem, which was the broodmother. And he could not do so in Kirkwall without getting rid of the Chantry. Because chantry is the root of the Templars, and being a bystander while you can help solve everything easily is unjust all the same.
Anders and Justice had the same cause, different morality and they were just confused because they didn't know any better.
