So I had a lot of Metal Hammer posters all over everywhere. OKEJ and Metal Hammer posters. One thing I noticed about bands… Not only did I see Voïvod in there, but I also saw a lot of the cooler, tougher bands had Voïvod shirts. [x]

#fourfold soul #Nobody #Fitch #While it does go counter to the spirit of the main character having no name no gender...I have decided to reveal-#-my placeholder name for to keep a proper tagging system. This was the reason I ended up reading the odyssey by the way.#I needed a placeholder name for our cowboy exorcist and I went with 'Nobody-haha-like-in-the-odyssey-wait-what'.#Project discussion wise this isn't the name we use when talking about this character. *That's* staying a secret.#This comic idea was actually one of the first things I ever sketched for Nobody.#The rhetoric at that point was to show off to my game dev partner the humour in having No Gender for a protag.#None binary with a side of 'I don't have the capacity to think about that right now.'#There was a 4th panel to go along with this but I cut it for time. I'll post it separately later on.#I had to take some steps back to solidify character designs but now I've got them LOCKED DOWN.#WE ARE BACK. I WILL MAKE OUR BELOVED CHARACTER'S KNOWN. THROUGH SILLY COMICS.

In 2011 I drastically reduced my DWJ book intake to dripfeed levels, so it was only in the 2024 new year that I finally decided to read Deep Secret. My god - out of all her books this seems targeted at me personally? Stressed late-20-somethings, making fools of oneself in vicinity of fav authors, artist alleys?? Also, blatant unmistakable LGBT-rep??? I can't believe I slept on this one for so long!!! Definitely putting it on the upper tiers of my DWJ bookshelf.

Anyway, here's some designs I've whipped up for the characters! As always, might tweak 'em if ever I draw more in the future, but that's what's fun about figuring out character designs. Rob in particular is a joy to me.

Konoha is ruining my favourite ships

Like the village is such a huge cockblocker. All my OTPs, it doesn't matter if it's HashiMada or HashiMito or MinaKushi or SasuNaru, (honourable mention to brotp KakaObi), are all being HELD BACK because at least one of the mfs in the ship is a bootlicker

#the whole situation with hashirama and madara deserves a longer post and has been explained better by other people on here #tbh the fact that Hashirama puts the village above even those close to him just poisons all of his relationships #this extends to his relationship with madara tobirama mito and his kids #anyways i got sidetracked this is about konoha ruining my fav ships moving on to the next ones #minakushi is super wholesome until minato's brainwashed and extremely traumatized former student rips out the fox spirit from kushina #who just gave birth not even 30 minutes ago #and then minato decides to use their son as the sacrificial lamb for the village #sasunaru is....complicated #like on the one hand naruto is trying to save sasuke from being consumed by hatred (which eventually almost happens to him)#and also prevent him from becoming skin to wear for a creepy snake mad scientist #naruto has legitimate reasons to chase after sasuke especially when he's still with orochimaru #but on the other hand there's literally nothing there for sasuke in konoha (besides naruto and thassit)#the same village that had a hand in the annihilation of his clan #and so much more but i don't have the skill or coherence to elaborate on them properly #again other people on this site have talked in length about these issues but i need to locate the posts #anti konoha #the killer of romance and friendship #i think this is when i know i've gone off the rails with the konoha hate #hashimada #hashimito #minakushi #sasunaru #narusasu #sns #should i put an anti tag here?

Does Heartstar/Tigerstar II have thalassophobia(fear of deep water/drowning) would certainly make sense given his family's entire Deal with the lake. Also does Rowanstar drowning in the Moonpool mean that there's just. A rotting corpse in the moonpool now? Don't the medcats drink from that water?! (Sorry if yiu see this twice! I think tumblr deleted my ask?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The desire to CinemaSins Ding poetic imagery is the death of visual metaphor and the bane of creativity. Kill the impulse. The moonpool is as deep and clean as it needs to be in spite of being canonically a stillwater pool and logically full of algae and microbes. Magic cat god water, full of StarClan Magic (tm)

We do not need to see the cats fishing Rowanstar's body out, or an accurate estimate of pool depth, or its PH level. StarClan's emotions do wonderful things when miracles occur. A wizard with a big pool cleaning net did it.

#I get a ridiculous number of asks about this and the answer is always the same so I've started deleting them #Why don't they fly the eagles to Mordor? Same reason Barbie must travel to the Real World in her sports car #It is the journey #as for thalassophobia no she doesn't have that. my favourite passtime is making up incredibly unaccurate armour designs. That's a lie my passtime is researching but this comes at a close second

Anyways all of this is to say please imagine Eiden helping Yakumo get ready and that involves putting those old timey curlers in Yakumo's hair before he went to bed so he can have curls the next morning
