I grew up in a village/town where there's a big main road, actually it was a national highway , in front of my house and with green paddy fields and mountains at the back of it. There wasn't enough electricity that time to fulfill our needs, so a generator was always necessary to suffice the load at nights. I even remember reading for exams with a candle lit room, and surviving the hottest days with my hands dipped inside a bucket full of water. I was 8 years old, when I realized that I love music and that I love to sing, that it doesn't matter what words they were actually in the song, but "Love story" by Taylor Swift, still doesn't make any sense in the way I used to sing. I started listening to more songs regardless of the genre, bc I loved each and every one of it as long as they had a tune. My music taste went from Taylor Swift to Cradle of Filth, Enya to My Chemical Romance, and One Republic to Mazzy Star, and the list goes on. I remember holding onto one of my sister's idea of naming cats after artists, bc pretty Mazzy was named after the "Fade into you" singer..... or artist?? idk. But the idea was oddly fascinating to me, altho now there's no way I'll name my cat "Ariana" , bc it sounds very weird, at least to me.

I had a red jacket which I wore, on top of another black jersey. A black stocking, and a shorts above it. It was December, and I remember vividly how I used to carry one long stick, touch the water in the pond and admire the ripples, thinking that was Master Oogway's stick and I had acquired the "inner peace". A gang of cats followed me while I was having my special ritual, everyday, and they played around me. At times I hit the fern tree, so I can entertain my kittens with the old leaves falling down from it like confetti altho to them, it must be just some spark of weird curiosity. The smell of burning pinewood that time didn't feel like it will always bring me to that moment of life everytime I encounter it in the future. I was younger then. I practiced the scene of the then popular Thai movie "Crazy thing called love" where Nam had her glow up when she successfully threw that ceremonial stick in the march in the most beautiful way. I practiced and practiced and sometimes I stepped on one of the cat's tail while admiring my stick flying with a violet sky as background , or sometimes my stick would hit them on their head or back. I did my compensation by letting them play with my hand and leaving all their scratches as aesthetic remarks. Those moments engraved itself at the back of my head, and there's no denial for my sudden urge to go back in time to experience that again. I was a wondering soul escaping reality. If I was an actress, that role will be my favorite until the day I grow old and retire. That time's comfort still exist, now, when I listen to the songs I used to play near the water, when I successfully spin a random stick I picked up somewhere,and when ..... December knocks at my door at the end of the year, I can still feel the embrace of wind back then, my mother's voice when she called for me, my fearlessness of being alone in that field when it was so dark. My heart gently stings, I feel comfortable breathlessness, when I remember those winters I spent there with wild flowers and kittens. It won't come back again, yet I feel like that'll be the place I'll see when I give up the last beat of my heart someday.

Right now, I live in the city, away from the silence of comfort, far from the fern tree and the pond. I've had two consecutive winters of same feeling of breathlessness, yet not comfortable like it used to be bc of the sinusitis I suffer from , from all the dust that seem to choke me everytime I escape from this home. Altho I don't need candles to read nor a bucket of cold water to stay cool during summer, I feel caged into the world of reality, a flightless bird inside rails learning to give up her dream to fly bc, she was never born to fly in the first place..... The only thing that helps me survive these hot winters, is this concurrent wonderland I see when I fall asleep, a girl with a black jacket, wearing shorts and her stick, causing the ripples on the pond, and the confetti fall of the leaves with her gang of kittens following her as she sings.

Volume 8 Trailer: Initial Reactions

This is incredibly short for a trailer. Aren’t RWBY’s usually about a minute and a half long? Will we be getting another? I literally only caught the last five minutes of the live stream so idk. 

Ruby is speaking very confidently about Salem’s plans. “Atlas is only Salem’s current target. She’s not hiding anymore,” etc. I mean yeah, this all seems obvious and easy deductions, but it’s just weird to give Ruby - who only found out about Salem a few months ago and spoke to her for one hot second (that we know of) - a more concrete sense of her plans than we, the omniscient audience, have gotten. 

That throne is wonderfully creepy (as is the music here). Where is this? Is Salem perhaps inside her whale? I’m digging the aesthetic. 

Actually it’s worth acknowledging that I’m happy with the tone overall. It still remains to be seen how this fits in with our clips, but at least the trailer is acknowledging the stakes here. 

“We need to warn them!” I get that now that Salem is actively attacking people it’s necessary to prepare others for that, immortality aside, but I still hate that we’ve jumped straight to ‘Telling the world is an unambiguously good thing!’ when literally everything we’ve seen in seven seasons has told us otherwise. 

Speaking of immortality is that like... a conflict at all? Because Volume 7 didn’t grapple with it and neither does this trailer. I think her being immortal is a pretty big factor in the ‘Do we stay or leave?’ debate/any plans they make to defend against her, but thus far Ruby and co. don’t seem to think so. 

We get a shot where the group is pulling out their weapons but Penny stands there looking confused. Another encounter with the Ace Ops? They’ve since recovered from their fight.  

We also see them standing over what is presumably Clover’s corpse. I’m gearing up for the fandom to crucify them if they don’t demonstrate an “appropriate” amount of grief. Something something see they’re inhuman and Team RWBY was right to betray them. 

I’m here for a Penny and Ruby hug though. Their relationship took such a dive last volume I’ll now accept any meaningful connection I can get. 

Okay, onto one of my biggest issues: so much of this trailer is repetition. We’ve seen the whale grimm arrive. We’ve seen the group go back to Pietro’s shop (and we know that either there’s nothing there to fight or they easily defeat what is there because the bike excitement comes next). We know the group is focused on helping Mantle whereas Ironwood is focused on helping the world. We’ve seen them get bikes. We’ve seen Penny’s eyes glow with the Maiden powers. None of this is new and that’s super disappointing. 99% of this is just rehashing what we knew from the end of Volume 7 or from the previous promo clips. With the exception of: 

Salem has the lamp. So she either took it from Cinder, Cinder rejoined her, or Neo betrayed her and took the lamp to Salem. She also doesn’t know how to use it and is presumably going to hunt down Ozpin(Oscar) with that bloodhound grimm. Depending on if Salem wants anything other than the lamp right now that’s an easy way to help protect Mantle: the group leaves and Salem will presumably follow. It’s a version of what I’ve said before regarding “If you care about the people and know that the evil witch only wants your magic relics/you, how about you actually leave via Atlas and draw her away?” 

Also, Ozpin is no longer “the one who can show me how.” Team RWBY + Qrow and Maria all know how to summon Jinn too. Potentially JNR as well if they were told that during the explanation scene we never saw. They’d better hope Salem doesn’t find out that at a minimum six other people know how to activate this relic, including a presumably defenseless old woman. Funny how taking information by force puts you in more danger, your friends in more danger, and makes the enemy’s job that much easier.

Salem also says that she has “questions” for Jinn, plural. That’s probably the most interesting development to me. What does she not know that she needs magic to gain? Will having only one question left hurt her plans? (Ugh, please don’t make this into a ‘It’s a good thing Ruby used a question to uncover all Ozpin’s trauma because that ended up saving the world!’ situation).

There’s nothing about Qrow or Ozpin’s return. Yes, I remain salty that arguably the most important character next to Ruby was dropped for the majority of two volumes and then doesn’t make an appearance in the trailer. 

All in all I’m feeling really... underwhelmed? As said, we’ve learned almost nothing new from this. With the exception of Salem there’s nothing in this trailer that makes me eager to understand what a clip means, or anxious to see the outcome of something. It’s just stuff we already know about (Penny’s eyes), generic stuff that’s meaningless without context (the Ace Ops standing at attention), or stuff that obviously has no weight (someone - potentially Yang - is chased by a dragon-y grimm. Will they survive??? Of course they’ll survive). If it weren’t for Salem holding the relic and revealing her need for it beyond it being one of the four pieces for summoning the gods, I’d say this trailer didn’t do any of the work a trailer is supposed to. So I guess kudos for giving us one thing to think about/look forward to? Everything else though is pretty tame for the volume where our heroes finally square off against their antagonist. This setup would be the end-game for most series (worrisome considering we know RT wants to continue much farther...) and the trailer is mostly showing repetition and grunt grimm. Can’t say it got my blood pumping.

SURVIVAL GUIDE & STUDY TIPS

hello everyone!! this post is a collab with the lovely and amazing @boinkhs because we've both reached 2k followers :D she'll be doing study tips for college students and i'll be doing study tips for high schoolers. check out her post here!

i've split this into part 1. survival, which concerns how to study & learn better in general and just tips on how to get through high school. part 2. is on specific study tips for each type of subject, namely sciences, maths, languages and humanities.

1. Don't snooze please

you just end up snoozing 5 times then you’re late for school

2. If you find you have difficulty getting out of bed, just keep in mind ONE TASK you need to do.

for example, making your bed. then you just gotta focus on that! it should help fight the sleepiness because you’re forcing your brain and limbs to be active.

3. Do the necessary things like brushing your teeth, putting on clothes and eat breakfast

i don’t know why but some people don’t eat breakfast before coming to school like ???? excuse me ???? please eat at least a small snack, or a fruit or something. your body doesnt function on an empty stomach! also, drink some water to hydrate yourself

4. On the road, you should do something that puts you in a good mood.

for me, i go straight to spotify and listen to my playlist. you should also review the previous day’s learning so that you refresh your memory before going back to class. personally this is my fav part of the day HAHAHA

5. If you like, you can choose to read a book.

just make sure you’re calm but ‘warmed up’ to focusing in a sense.

1. Hydrate frequently

idk man it just keeps you awake + i dont feel so icky if i drink enough water

2. Learn actively

if the teacher asks questions, try to answer. sit at the front row. offer to help give out the worksheets or notes. clarify your doubts after. when they speak, copy down notes. don’t worry about the aesthetic; i mean you can but you need to write fast and neat which unfortunately doesnt come together very often. i suggest you spend more brain power digesting and understanding the content.

3. Don’t over highlight

ONLY KEY POINTS that are stressed by the teacher. you can tell when their tone changes, expression changes, when they use more hand motions, or they keep repeating a few key words. yes , that. highlight that. stare at it while listening to them speak. make sure you understand. if you don’t please ask. but make sure you don’t have a fluorescent page because that’s not ideal study material!

4. Write down any questions you have

if they’re answered in the lesson, cancel them off. if not, ask after the lesson. dont be scared! *sends virtual courage*

5. Use whatever free time you have to finish homework

because you’re gonna thank yourself later. you should spend more time at home revising than doing homework. ( doing homework isnt equivalent to revising PLEASE I KNOW SO MANY PEOPLE WHO SAY THEY REVISED FOR 3 HOURS BUT ALL THEY DID WAS HOMEWORK ) also it feels better knowing you have one less thing to worry about

6. Record down all assignments, due dates and test dates

do it in a planner or your phone. doesn’t matter just keep them somewhere. it can be demoralising to see an entire entry of shit to get done but still it’s better than not knowing what needs to be done. ignorance is NOT bliss. try to color code or symbol code them, for example • for assignments (due date behind), - for tests etc. act on this when you go home (see below)

7. Have a file/binder some form of organisation to keep different subjects’ worksheets, tests, notes, reading etc.

you can have one massive binder, one binder for each subject, one folder file for each subject or anything that suits you. for me, i clip all materials of one subject together with a binder clip. the materials i use most are at the front for easy reference. then put those bundles into zipper files, perhaps one for math and sciences, another for languages and humanities. or whatever suits you best! make sure you have everything in one place so you don’t panic and dig through a pile of dog-eared paper.

8. If you can, when it’s near the exam period, don’t stay back after school unless it’s to study.

i used to stay back for training and to play volleyball with my friends and i kid you not we would play from 2pm to 6.30 pm and get nothing done but it was fun. and i’m not saying deprive yourself of that fun but when the exams are near, you should be studying somewhere quiet/ somewhere you can focus. you should go somewhere (preferably home) where you can focus and get things done.

9. Decide if you’re a lone wolf or if you need a study buddy/study group

personally i’m a lone wolf because i hate distractions and i don’t want to distract others. but when my friends ask me for help i don’t mind staying back a little to teach them and/or study with them. Personally i find that for subjects like english which require you to write about an array of topics, studying with someone else can help in generation of essay points and to just broaden your understanding of the topic. so yeah it really depends, just do what suits you :)

10. Take notes in class

try to understand while copying, and if you didn’t understand something, you should raise your hand and ask for the teacher to repeat so that you hear it again. also, it gives you more time to take notes as they re-explain the content. read them after the lesson is over to help internalise some facts. you can create your own method of organisation for your notes, e.g. colour coding.

1. Review the day’s learning on the way home.

if you take public transport, try to flip through your notes and worksheets to review new content for the first time.

2. Eat lunch, have a snack, take a shower, everything that’s necessary.

if you use your phone while eating, make sure you don’t eat slowly just to use your phone because that’s wasting time.

3. If you’re super tired, just have a 15-20min power nap

nothing more otherwise you will NEVER wake up until the dead of night. just take a nap to get some energy back. doesnt matter if you wake up feeling more tired, because you’ll shake that feeling in a while. keep a glass of water beside you so that you can drink it once you wake up!

4. Look through your ‘list’ that you made earlier in the day. (in class, pt. 6)

you might want to spend max 10 mins updating your schedule. then stare at the dreaded homework. start with the easiest and least time consuming to build up momentum. this could actually be the remainder of what you’ve finished in school. then look at the due dates. do them in order of due dates. unless it’s a huge project or assignment, you might want a head start on it!

5. With the remaining time, you should start revising

review the day’s learning AGAIN.

make notes/mindmaps/flashcards whatever works for you. you should prioritise the subject or chapter that you were most confused about. quickly revise and try to clear up any questions you have about the chapter. if you have additional time, go ahead and make notes for the next subject! another way is going through corrections and clarifying your doubts with friends/teachers, and summarise the day’s learning on a post-it or two. if you’ve already taken notes in class, look at other sources e.g textbook and combine what you’ve learnt before re-writing or re-organising your notes.

1. Pack your bag!

remove unnecessary materials, and pack the necessary one. make sure your bag isnt too heavy. you can choose to hand carry some files or binders if they’re too bulky, but make sure you’re all packed before the next morning

2. Have a meal & clean up

again, basic necessities. don’t go to bed hungry or feeling icky because thats not how you treat yo self!

Before class:

if you’re going to continue on a chapter, review the content that came before it. Try to make your own connections between the already learnt and to-be learnt content so that you’re mentally ready for class.

In class:

take down notes, highlight, annotate and DRAW DIAGRAMS. you can’t do sciences without diagrams. for physics or chemistry which require more calculation, copy down the problems your teacher goes through and solve them along with him/her. write the formulas on a post it note so you can stick it onto the page where you’re writing for easy reference. if the teacher plays a video which is MOST DEFINITELY NOT GOING TO WAIT FOR YOU you have to write only the relevant points in the most abbreviated form possible.

Note-taking:

I find that linear notes help me most in sciences. for chapters that involve lots of interconnected processes, for example o chem, then mindmaps or flowcharts will be helpful. also if you tend to forget something, post-it that stuff on the front page of your notes where you are FORCED to stare at it. yes. write down example problems and their steps, then write explanations for each step so that if you’re confused you can always refer back. again, draw any required diagrams.

Answering techniques:

if there’s a ‘standard’ way to answer it then you have to make sure you follow that way even in your homework because it’s muscle memory. when you get to exams, your hand will automatically write in the same format so you don’t lose marks or spend time recalling the correct format.

imo sciences are quite logical so as long as you remember and follow the flow you’ll be fine!

In class:

copy key terms, facts and examples and write all examples that the teacher has gone through. write all formulas and definitions on a post it, then shift it around the pages as needed. if there’s a type of problem you particularly suck at, ask your teacher for help IMMEDIATELY because it’s so easy to forget the steps to a problem.

At home:

do your homework, do additional practice, correct your mistakes, clarify, and repeat. memorise formulas and definitions (perhaps using flashcards or post its) then practice more and make sure your concepts are strong. there’s no easy way and sadly this is all i can comment.

In class:

copy down notes, think actively, and if you’re given a sample essay you should annotate the heck out of it and keep it somewhere safe.

For essays:

read up more and write up. befriend the best writer in class and ask for their essays. write essay plans and consult your teacher. brainstorm possible approaches with friends. read the news, and copy the links of interesting online articles for future reference. have a go-to list of examples and quotes you can use, for any and every topic. read these like your bedtime story and never forget to keep updating them.

For comprehension passages:

read the questions first. then you’ll be more sensitive to what you need to read in the passage and how you need to analyse it. try to question yourself about how and why the author does something or makes you feel something. do not rush-read the passage or you will fail horribly (personal experience). do one or two extra comprehensions and ask your teacher to mark them.

In class:

ARROWS TO LINK EVERYTHING and annotate any class notes given. write down new examples provided by the teacher. if there is a link you ‘can check out’ go check it out. it’s probably something thats gonna be on the exam.

At home:

you have to rely on mindmapping and flow charts because everything is linked in some way and you cannot ignore those links!!!! although i do my humanities notes in linear form, my in class notes are all in the form of mindmaps. and actually i revise from those in a pinch because i can see everything at one go. watch vids on the concepts, for example plate tectonics. those things are so hard to see when they’re deadass sitting on the page and not budging. watch a video where they really move instead of being frozen.

If you’re so frickin lost:

watch more videos on the concepts, watch more videos on the events, search up interpretations online and ask your teachers!!! for everyone who gets equally lost as me when i’m faced with a new chapter, another way is to pre-read before the teacher starts teaching. if you’re lazy to read just watch a couple clips on it so that at least you have some background. even if you wake up the next day with 0 concrete memory, which you won’t, you’ll already have the flow of things which will help you if you’re usually the straggler.

The 12 Clans vs Ark Station: Nuance

I’m honestly not fond of grounders as a whole or their society, and basically this is to explain where a lot of that stems from.

So, basically this “essay” is going to compare the society of the 12 Clans (grounders)* to that of the Ark Station. The worldbuilding around the ark station is complex; everything surrounding the grounder’s culture boils down to violence or revenge.

The Citizens of the Ark:

The society and government of the Ark were deeply flawed: its one child policy, classism, “all crimes are capital crimes”, teenaged criminals are basically kept on death row for months or years until they can be executed, its willingness to sacrifice the few for the sake of the many. But we see aspects of their culture beyond that; I’m not even arguing that they’re redeeming characteristics, just that the worldbuilding is nuanced and the society doesn’t seem completely awful.

Democracy

The Ark has a functioning democracy. Former Chancellor Sidney was voted out of power, so Chancellor is not a position held for life and the Ark’s democracy is functional enough that Chancellors can be voted out by the people

The fact that theoretically the people of the Ark could vote in a Chancellor whose campaign centered on say, repealing the one child policy (or at the very least, pardoning anyone who breaks it); idk it just adds nuance to me that the people have power and that at least many of them support the Ark’s draconian policies- it’s not all the government being tyrannical

They have very limited resources and thus everyone’s use of resources is limited- even the Chancellors

As we see from early season 1 after Jaha is shot, everyone- including the Chancellor, the most powerful person on the Ark- has a “legal limit” on the amount of blood and other medical resources that doctors are allowed to give them. The fact that there’s at least some equality in their harsh system

Religion

We see some of a religious service held by Vera Kane, and we see how their religion centers around the small tree they have, which followers water with drops of their own water

(And we see Nygel dismiss this as “a waste of water”; like in real life, not everyone is religious)

The Traveller’s Blessing, which we see used as funeral rites

I think it’s interesting the insights you can take from it- “until our final journey to the ground” echoes Clarke’s “man can go home, back to the ground. The ground, that's the dream”; I get a sense they as a society long to go “home” to the ground, viewing the Ark as almost a liminal place  

Unity Day

We see one of their holidays- Unity Day, as well how they celebrate it- we see both a Unity Day pageant and a Unity Day masquerade dance 

Unity Day celebrates the founding of the Ark, and their Unity Day story told in the pageant gives some insight into their values (”they realized life would be better together“) and thus their culture

Chess

In a flashback, we see Clarke and Wells playing chess in a rec room surrounded by other people playing chess. So, we get at least a small glimse at what the people of the Ark do for fun

The black market

This one isn’t necessarily a positive, but through Nygel (and Raven trying to buy a pressure regulator from her) we see some of the common people subverting the laws of the Council; the people aren’t powerless. (And it makes it feel more like a real society).

Plus, Abby states that “Kane’s been trying to get [Nygel] for years”, indicating that their justice system requires at least some proof

Education

Obviously, the people of the Ark have an education system/have been educated, but I feel like it’s important to note that they’re passing down information beyond what’s necessary for survival- Bellamy’s numerous references to the greeks/romans, Monty knew Korean, Bellamy and Clarke know about Oppenheimer, Clarke was probably taught by someone how to draw, etc.

Yes, the Ark has a class problem, but everyone gets an education

Well’s quote: “ It's called cutting sign. Fourth-year earth skills”; we get a glimpse into their education system   

There’s probably more, but you can see how the Ark feels like a real society with a flesh-out culture; with both good and bad elements.

The 12 Clans:

Really, my main issue with grounder culture is how everything stems back to violence and revenge, and how highly violence and revenge is held. There are the obvious, of course: Jasper the unarmed teenager is speared for crossing a river, Anya reacts to the flare killing Trikru villagers by attacking barely armed teenagers in the woods and then deciding to wipe out all 100 of the teenagers, “death by a 1000 cuts”, the fact that Finn’s execution was supposed to start with fire, Lexa reacts to Skaikru killing army of Trikru soliders (so from the same people that only months ago tried to wipe out the 100) by declaring that she’ll wipe out Skaikru (despite the fact that she knows that had lost that challenge/duel only days ago, that same army would’ve been used by Ontari to wipe out Skaikru). There’s more (so much more) but I’ll stop there.

And like, this would be one thing if the grounders had a culture outside of violence and revenge. Or valued other things besides how good people at fighting. But we don’t see that at all. Every worldbuilding element stems back to violence.

“Your fight is over”

Even their funeral rites tie back to violence; peoples’ lives are defined by fighting and wars, and the only way to escape is to die

The Commander

The Commander is a tyrant who can murder ambassadors- and thus, presumably anyone- without consequence (see Lexa and that guy she kicked off the tower for questioning her)

Religion

So mid season 3, we start learning about grounder’s beliefs (Becca, the inifity sign as the sacred symbol, praimfaya), but surprise! it’s all about violence after all

Who gets the Flame (which is basically the be all and end all of their religion) is decided by a conclave aka children fighting to the death

That’s the cornerstone of their religion (and also their political system- fun); children fighting each other to the death

Fleimkepas- the priests basically- go around kidnapping nightblood children from their parents and then the head fleimkepa raises them to kill each other when the time comes

(Yes, I’m sure some parents voluntarily gave their nightblood children up, but Madi’s parents felt the need to hide her from fleimkepas, meaning they take nightblood children with or without their parents’ consent) 

“Love is weakness”

This really tells you a lot about their values, doesn’t it

“A warrior does not mourn until the fight is over”

War > love/family/personal connections

Children train from a young age to be warriors, and are sent into battle as young teenagers

Infants with mutations are left out to die as “a stain on the bloodline”

Wanheda

You gain power from your kills

Kill marks

Language

Even the language, trigedasleng, (per word of god) was supposed to have started out as a code language used by the warriors (which makes no sense, as it’s also the universal language of the 12 clans now, but I digress) (sidenote: this might now longer be true now that we know the language was created by Callie)

Only the warriors speak English (which also makes no sense because trigedasleng is the universal grounder language why do the warriors need to know English at all, but that’s canon, Lincoln said it early season 2), which might indicate the warriors get better education (or more likely is just bad worldbuilding)

All the leaders are warriors

The tattoos/facial scarring

They’re used to distinguish the clans, but as we recently learned in season 7, that the meaning behind them (for Azgeda, at least) is that they’re ready to go to war

And like, even if it was just to signify membership in your clan, given how the clans seem to be constantly at war, it almost seems like just a way to identify “us vs. them” (see: Echo, as an Azgeda spy, didn’t have any facial scars or tattoos)

Medicine

To be fair they do burn their dead, occasionally name people after local pre-apocalpyse landmarks, and have clan symbols. But really isn’t enough worldbuilding-wise.

So, violence surrounds almost every aspect of their culture and thus it does not seem real or anything but irredeemably awful.

And yeah, it’s really the fault writers’ and I applaud fanfic writers who try to create some sort of actual culture for the grounders but like this is what we canonically have and thus, grounder society annoys me.

5 THINGS YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER.

1. Indomitable - She pretty much does what she wants, how she wants, whenever she wants. If she wants something? She manipulates her way into getting it. She doesn’t stop until she has it and hardly anything will sway her otherwise. She’s extremely hard to control when determined and set on a task in mind. She’s hard to control period. She’s got a streak of wild, impulsive, and loves to toy with others be it malicious or just to tease.  Her will is near impossible to break and she never believes that she can’t do something even if it is the impossible. Atop of that she’s fairly hard to defeat physically, she’ll bring more than a challenge if ever attack or if a loved one is ever hurt. I’m not saying that she can’t be brought down because she can, but it’s going to take more than a couple of hits.

2. Emotional Depth-  There’s not just one tier to Isrieal, there’s a million and it’s a labyrinth. She comes off as cold, arrogant, prideful but that’s the main wall that she hides behind. She’s strong and will exude complete confidence most of the time while being sly, cunning, coy, and whatever else she can throw at you. These are the emotions she shows to the world but the rest she’s buried so deep inside that she forgets they even exist. Inside she’s broken, sad, lonely, tormented but she has her ways of hiding them and biting back the pain that feeling these emotions brings. It’s from the conditions she’s been stuck in for her whole life at Hojo’s mercy and the lies she’s had to tell herself to make it easier to handle. Of course, this naturally makes her volatile with bursts of anger or other strong emotions and if she let’s one slip out they all come spilling out sooner or later. She does have a tendency to use special sedative injections to subdue these emotions whenever she feels any starting to well up. Deep under it all, however, she loves with all of her heart once she is sure that she will not be hurt. She’s always afraid of that in a way, but there is no in between. You have her all or you have her nothing. But once there she is quite passionate and protective and more soft and innocent then she’d originally lead you to think. 

3. Manipulative - Life is a game and she plays to win. At least that’s how one survives in ShinRa. She learned from one of the best manipulators out there and now she’s known to even manipulate the Professor himself. She rose herself from experiment to assistant Director by playing him and she plays everyone around as she sees necessary in order to get what she needs. She often shows what she wants to show and nothing more, near every move and every article of clothing is precisely calculated towards whomever she is meeting with. Of course, only if you don’t know her well. 

4. Deals with the Devil- Oh yes, she loves to make deals but don’t worry they’re mostly fair and she is one to keep to her word and her promises. Despite her demeanor she is quite loyal when she promises something. If you work out a trade or a bargain she’ll do her best to uphold her end of it, getting you what you want in return. There is a lot that can be traded between science and other departments after all and she’s not afraid to go behind the Professor’s back here and there if it means obtaining something she’s personally after in the end. 

5. A.I Alien - Lastly, yes I love the fact she is a hybrid and loves to play with quantum theory and A.I in the future. I always love the sci-fi aesthetics and concepts and the idea of something beautiful having a monster inside. She’s at conflict with this part of herself, often not knowing how to fully accept it but at least she is in control of the cells and not the other way around. She’s also always been focused on uploading consciousness and prolonging and bringing others back to life since she doesn’t age. It’s from there that she gets pulled into quantum theories and eventually breaks through to a system A.I that she makes a deal with to her own advantage, but this is a plot I haven’t touched in a while. Really I love everything about her but these are some fun and dominating concepts. 

5 PEOPLE ON HERE YOU LOVE, AND WHY.

1. @animus-inspire Where do I start? Seriously. This was unexpected but yet one of the best things that has ever happened in my writing history. I love love love this ship and all the AU’s of it so much! And beyond that, it’s so rare to get me to talk a lot but I can’t seem to ever shut up around you xD. But, I LOVE talking to you and the connection we have and the fact that we have so many stinking ideas all the damn time and they all get played off each other so easily and that we can share the same obsessions and YES WHAT HAVE YOU DONE! But you are also one of the sweetest and most full of life people I know on here and I absolutely love writing with you, you’ve made it so great :3. And you are seriously best Reeve and have made me love all the Reeve. <3

2. @thefirstthaumaturge I’ve known you for about like, well.....well over 10 years xD And I love you more as the years go on. We’ve survived drama days together and now we can laugh about all the stupid RP stuff we did in the past. I also enjoy all of our new RPs and how great its been to see both our OCs grow and thrive in these communities. I also super love talking to you and playing video games with you and watching WestWorld and movies with you. Basically, you make everything super fun and I don’t know what I’d do without you around. I also love how we always manage to say/type the same things at the same time all the damn time xD Digital sisters but its as real as it gets. 

3. @shinraweirdscience @xbroken-science @insidious-scientist  I love all of my Hojo’s that deal with Izzy’s crazy ass and put up with me so thank you guys! I’m always down for crazy plots and all the trauma that comes with them so don’t ever feel bad about throwing anything at me or damaging Izzy. It’s what makes her her after all. And I find it all a lot of fun. I’m always ears for ideas so let me know!

4. @sadistic-second I don’t write a whole lot with you here but you’re always good company in the voice chats and you make playing games a lot of fun as well. I like our little group we have going on to do all the stuffs. I love all the gifs and icons you make, and the paracord is very creative as well. It’s always cool to see what you can do. Of course I like all the funny things too.   @apathetic-ruler  I have to say you’re writing is amazing, I love it! I haven’t wrote with your Ru but I love past life Ru xD One of these day’s I’ll figure out what to do with a Rufus I’m sure. 

5. @ivory-paragon We don’t write much but I love playing FFXIV with you and being in all your groups. It’s a very fun and enjoyable atmosphere and you make me laugh all the time. If I hadn’t found you I wouldn’t have found any of this awesome community and my great shippy ships that have come out of it. @rikelusshinra I love all of our RP’s and stuff too. You have a super amazing OC that seems to fit right in and I’ve loved writing with Rike. Even if you are busy now. It’s rare Izzy finds ships that work but you are one of those lucky ones that she fits well with and I love all the ideas we play with as well. So to my FFU peeps! So okay, I’ve thought about this all day and I’ll do a few categories. Since I revolve around music so heavily and no lie have hundreds of my own music videos in my head for every song I’ve ever heard, yes I’m one of THOSE people. xD

So I’ll start with what I’ve been listening to lately that really fits in with WestWorld Izzy and Logan!Reeve ShinuestiLos xD I can’t seem to get Poker Face out of my head for her and a couple other Lady Gaga songs that fit in  Like this one too. 

Also I really love these songs but they are so random. This one mostly thanks to ARI, but I can never not listen to it when it comes on. Also Mortal Kombat. This song makes me so fired up every time I hear any variation of it xD. Even now! alkdjfsldjfsdljf, but I do really like this mix. 

Then we can’t forget those emo day songs. Mr. Brightside is one I can never resist singing. It’s just so damn good! Then there is Holiday by Greenday and can’t forget Miss Murder by AFI xD 

Now I have an extremely long list of electronic type, synth, darkwave, trance, whatever the heck categories they fall under that I just like to call my Robot music xD  Here’s a couple with AI themes that I’ll just throw out here. We Appreciate Power and quite literally A.I 

And lastly this one reminds me of Midgar so much and Izzy, but I always see her singing this if she ever made a music video. (which apparently she’s made many) But she’d definitely be in front of wall sized windows with Midgar in the background and the labs, and its also why she sometimes refers to it as Electric City, idk who the guy would be singing with her but if you want it to be you just let me know? Lol.  After all she is Indistinct. Ill Defined. Uncontrolled. Unconfined.

Bane:

Sleeps like a rock some nights, too restless to sleep others. This is especially so if he can’t get any physical activity in, in a day. He needs to move a lot during the day to get all that energy out bc well. He’s a very active person

Zsasz:

Has NO trouble getting sleep, but can also choose to not and he’d be fine? He’s kinda alien like that way. He can also survive on 4 hours a night. Lucky bastard

Lonnie:

Can’t sleep without being held once in a relationship. He’s very independent as a person, but like. Hold him

Jason:

Tosses and turns a lot. Talks in his sleep. He snores but not too bad, it’s very soft

Jonnie:

Lots of nightmares, like Jason, and may get up in the middle of the night if he can’t sleep. He’ll get up and start reading or studying, either with coffee or tea. Might bake, so that’s always nice to wake up to

★ - sad headcanon

Bane:

He has a mix of clausterphobia and loving cramped spaces. If he doesn’t think about being trapped, he’s fine. It stems from the years spent in a prison cell as a child, so he can’t think he’s being contained for too long.

Zsasz:

Locked in a closet frequently as a child for misbehaving, isolated too. His parents had a strict idea of what “misbehaving” was. He’s autistic as well so this happened quite a bit. Being alone so much made him put on this act because he had to learn to entertain himself. Never learned to keep some comments to himself also due to isolation.

Lonnie:

Being the Joker’s son is sad enough tbh, but I headcanon that his mom didn’t want him due to him being an unwanted pregnancy and was cruel to him. She doesn’t think her actions are abusive so he ran from home as soon as he was 18.

Jason:

I don’t think any headcanon I have for him can be any more sad than what happened to him in canon I mean christ

Jonnie:

Lost a patient once to suicide and sometimes pays for a bouquet to be sent to their grave when he can’t stop thinking about them

☆ - happy headcanon

Bane:

He loves those huge ass plushies. He likes it when they’re as big as he is. Idk he just likes big things. He’s like those guys who visit the tiny town to be bigger than everything else, except also for things that are as big as he is bc he’s huge

Zsasz:

WILL dance with you in a vaguely “I’m going to kill you” threatening way and laugh after. Won’t kill you, just wants your reaction and to tease. Loves especially doing the dip thing. It’s rly cute and he only does this when he’s feeling really happy

Lonnie:

Hands deep in a Spencer’s button bin and running out, stealing as many as he can. Need I say more

Jason:

He likes being given outfits to wear by someone who knows him well enough to pick out something he’d love. He’s not hard to please, but you gotta get that aesthetic just right. He WILL immediately put it on. If he loves it he will pick you up and spin you like a doll. Especially if it comes with a really nice pair of boots and jacket

Jonnie:

Whip cream nose boop while baking oh I yearn. He likes to have music playing while he bakes. Will sing softly along if he knows the song well enough. If he knows you’re there and he trusts you he won’t stop. He might be a bit embarrassed but he likes the intimacy. It’s a very quiet joy but !!

Bane:

Well we all already know he can break just about anything. He’s slow to actually anger, but like. Expect broken bones at least. If he’s angry at someone he cares about, he will either try to talk it out or leave to go workout and then come back when he feels better to resolve whatever happened.

Zsasz:

Even harder to make truly angry. He’s very flat on emotions. He likes to be silly yeah, but he’s just not intensely emotional. If he’s REALLY angry for any reason, he will distract himself. Work or shooting range, researching targets. Whatever it takes to smooth it over inside before facing it

Lonnie:

Maltov cocktail. Arson. Vaguely threatening wall tags along that person’s daily route. Like. He can be a little petty. As a treat.

Jason:

Explosive temper. Not afraid to throw a punch. He doesn’t like to feel disrespected. Especially if that disrespect is towards his partner or prized possessions.

Jonnie:

Self control. Self control. Self control. He may have outbursts if he has to face someone who’s wronged him in the past or recently. Or if he’s triggered by something. But for the most part, very calm !

Bane:

the first character i ever fell in love with:

Ellie, actually. It took me a while to warm up to Joel. I think he’s a little like Arthur Morgan but tbh you can really feel that like, ten year difference between them. Joel is in his late 40s and his stoicism is…severe. He’s very hard and even mean. In the  beginning of the Summer chapter, he has cast away the little things that once gave him happiness, like his music, because I believe some part of him feels he doesn’t deserve happiness, and this makes him very hard to be around. But Ellie I was instantly warm to, and she brought out the warm in Joel, and so by the time we finally got to Pittsburgh, I was ready to just throw down and be his wife. Merp.

Joel. He has many layers. He is Provider Man and a compulsive martyr for those he loves. It is maddening, but I love him.

Ugh they’re all so hard lol. I love the hotel in Pittsburgh, as that’s where a LOT of Joel and Ellie’s early bonding takes place. And of course, the giraffes.

favorite season chapter season:

I love them all, honestly. Summer is, to me, the most fun chapter to play, once you get to Pittsburgh. You get to meet Henry and Sam, and there are so many insane trials for Ellie and Joel to overcome together, and so they learn to trust each other, which is the foundation for both their relationship and their survival. Fall is beautiful, because it is when we finally see Joel make a choice, and once he does, his relationship with Ellie can finally take shape. Winter is terrifying but necessary as the underworld chapter in which we get to see Ellie fend for herself, save Joel’s life, and then their relationship just cracks wide open. Spring is…well…spring. ;__;

I also love Left Behind. The imagery and subtext of Left Behind is really strange and beautiful. I love the return to the mall as the quintessential zombie narrative setting. I love the juxtaposition of the almost tropical teen dream aesthetic of the past with the post-apocalyptic tundra of the present. I like the love story with Riley, but more than anything I love seeing Ellie on her own in that freezing mall, using Joel’s wisdom to help guide her own survival as she rushes through the grueling process of finding sutures so she can save his life. If you haven’t yet, I really recommend doing a new playthrough, and playing Left Behind chronologically, ie: between the Fall and Winter chapters. It’s wildly immersive.

Idk. I think we’re all pretty much on the same page lol. If we’re talking about TLOU2, though, I remember during the initial explosion after E3 last year, EVERYONE was very excited about Dina. I like Dina. I am very hopeful that Ellie finds love in TLOU2, but I wasn’t quite as taken with her and the whole Ellie x Dina ship as some other members of the fandom. I seriously think it’s just because I’m old, and I’m far too worried about my missing murder husband at the moment to focus on teenage love lol (nothing against it–I AM ALL FOR ELLIE AND DINA…i’m just…distracted lmfao)

Ellie. I found her to just be an incredibly well-adjusted teenager who had lived much of her life so far in relative safety. There’s nothing hardcore about Ellie in TLOU. I am actually very sad to see how hardened she has become in the sequel. She’s such an optimistic person and a pure soul. I just don’t know what could have driven her to the brink like that, and tbh I’m scared to learn.

BACKGROUND.

born as ‘lamia romana’ in italy to catholic parents. her father was a struggling alcoholic and incredibly depressed. when cece was 4, and her brother was 3 her father fed the gas pipe through the back of their car whilst they prepared to go on their family holiday because he knew suicide would leave his wife and children penniless so he decided the most selfless thing would be to take them with him

cecily (lamia) and her brother luc by some miracle survived the accident, but were left orphaned. they were sent to a convent where they were raised by nuns. cece was incredibly religious. it became her whole life. she was devoted to god completely, almost crazed, because in the absence of parents she transferred the need for a guider and protector onto this spiritual other evoked by her religious beliefs.

she always had a strained relationship w her brother because she believed he wasn’t as devoted to catholicism as she was. when she was 13 he claimed that god wasn’t real and that she was a freak, and in a violent rage cecily thrust a crucifix through his throat. it was completely out of character for her. she screamed until her throat went dry. eventually,  when the nuns managed to tear her away from her brother’s body, she was taken to a psychiatric hospital in manhattan where she stayed for two years. driven to madness, she convinced herself that she had been possessed by the devil the moment she killed her brother, and soon she began to accept her fate, as not holy, like she had anticipated, but in fact it’s ungoldy antithesis

when she was released, she was adopted by an american distant aunt and uncle and sent to a manhattan boarding school under the new name ‘cecily de rosa’. see also: st. trinnians. lifted of any religious obligation, cecily grew wild. she delighted in acting up, cheeking her superiors, causing havoc and chaos, terrifying the other girls. sex became her weapon – she would seduce the boys from the local comprehensive and drop them like flies. to her, it was merely a game. 

uses sex as a weapon, a way in which to manipulate men, having filmed sexual liasons with both a former acting coach and a TA to use for the purposes of blackmail.

theatre-wise, one of Cecily’s most commendable traits is her sheer tenacity and lack of inhibition – she is willing to do whatever it takes to climb to the top, and kick as many other people down as necessary on her way there. tthis unhinged hunger for success was evidenced when, in her breakout role, cecily played Tamora in Titus Andronicus. feeling the presentation of one of shakespeare’s most terrifying women was ‘pussy-footed’ and dulled down for a male audience, cecily took matters into her own hands, and during the famous banquet scene where Tamora is fed her own sons, she ate a pig’s heart live on stage – receiving both awestruck and horrified press reviews for her performance -- and getting expelled from her drama school. (thats why she is now at lockwood)

was raised Roman Catholic, and although she is now estranged from religion, it’s still an integral part of her identity. Viv would be really uncertain about her appearance in the 'verse where she runs off with Theo. She felt guilty even changing her eye color to Theo's knowing how Dedrick feels about his eyes, but she kinda wanted to cut all ties from her parents. She still doesn't feel like she's separated herself enough from them, but changing herself to look like Theo would make things too awkward so she kinda just accepts that she's not going to be happy with her appearance. She also cut her hair short and stopped wearing dresses...Pat already gave her complicated feelings about that and Corbin objectifying her with her doll-like appearance completely ruined that aesthetic for her.

Idk where Vivi would be...she'd have trouble surviving in the Dueling District bc the Dueling District's mentality about disability/weakness is "just don't be disabled/weak smh", but she also wouldn't feel comfortable in the Potions District because Corbin is there and she has Complicated Feelings about potions now. Vivi should seek therapy immediately, but she doesn't trust like that and wouldn't want Theo to spend any more money on her than is necessary for her survival (and she'd even feel guilty about that) so she continues to bottle up those feelings. All of her interests have been ruined for her. Alroy and Corbin (especially Corbin) tainted music; she associates it with heartbreak and being taken advantage of. Potions are a touchy subject for her, mainly because of Patrick. Potions were something she and Pat bonded over, until Pat started bonding over potions with Dedrick who is more skilled with potions than her and having her dream of taking her father's position crushed in front of her just broke her.

Vivi feels Dread bc Corbin made her feel more dependent on others (losing a lot of her power and making her crave attention even more) but she has trouble trusting people and feels too guilty to ask for attention from the people she DOES trust, so she hugs herself and hopes that'd be enough to keep her from crawling back to Corbin.

The prince character from Pri Para (Idk her name I just know she has silver hair and is my aesthetic!!) + 4, 22 and 34!

Their name is Hibiki Shikyoin! They’re actually very conceited and a little mean but get redeemed!!!!!!! I need to do a full character rant about them to you just because I need someone to shout about Pri Para to xD In Idol Time Pri Para they turned Hibiki into a little bit of a joke too but it’s actually very funny and Hibiki is such trash and I think you could really love them xDD In the show Hibiki is he/him until it’s revealed they’re biologically female and while Hibiki is the one who admits it and never cares about people calling them she/her they also still refer to themselves as a prince and take only male roles in movies and stuff so I see them as genderfluid and I’ll call Hibiki they :3 Plus the director actually did say Hibiki does not consider themselves a boy or a girl, so I’m not way off fhuergf,jergtktgkjt-- I wanted to give this background since nO ONE WATCHES THIS SHOW BUT ME but especially none of my followers do, so I wanted my answers to make sense hahaha

4. Fears

Hibiki is afraid of showing vulnerability. Confidence and their idol persona isn’t an act-- but it’s easy and comes naturally to behave that way. But showing any emotion that isn’t vain, and getting close to anyone and letting someone in beyond the surface is scary. They always believed friendship was weakness, and their fear of letting someone see the sides of Hibiki that weren’t beautiful and cool was the main reason for that.

22. Family

Born into a wealthy family, Hibiki was never close to their own parents and were typically cared for by nannies and other help around the house. When Hibiki was with their parents, it was usually to be paraded around as their beautiful and proper little girl. It was the opposite of who Hibiki was and what they enjoyed, but instead of being angry or uncomfortable Hibiki did take pleasure in the fact that they were in a sense fooling their parents and everyone else. They were being perceived as a stereotypical little girl with frills and bows and Hibiki’s beauty passed the idea well. Hibiki liked lying to everyone when Hibiki knew the truth of how Hibiki actually was. It’s where Hibiki’s brattiness began because they found it was very very easy to use that little pretty girl persona to get things they wanted. More allowance? Bat eyelashes and says how happy it would make them! Want attention? Pretend to be too helpless and scared to stay by themselves. Hibiki took more and more pleasure in fooling everyone, and while it was a bit evil the urge just got stronger and stronger. Then once Hibiki cut their hair and started dressing masculine and was recognized as a male and became a male celebrity-- the thrill was even stronger because they went from fooling just family and family friends to fooling the whole world. Plus they were doing it in a way where it wasn’t as forced or fake, and it came extra easy that way. At this point Hibiki lost contact with their family completely because they no longer saw them as necessary. Even while understanding the importance of relationships now and not being quite as cruel, Hibiki can’t get themselves to reconnect with their parents even now because being paraded as a child just felt as though their parents were mutually using Hibiki back then as well.

34. Affection

True, genuine affection is very very hard for Hibiki! Hibiki knows exactly how to woo and impress someone and knows everything about romancing someone and seems to have so much experience in every aspect. BUT once Hibiki has feelings for someone it’s a different story and they don’t know what to do when it’s reciprocated and Hibiki isn’t the only one woo’ing. Because yeah, they can still call the girl their princess and hold their face and try to seduce them but once the girl BEAMS instead of swoons and kisses Hibiki first Hibiki becomes a mess! They won’t let anyone see them embarrassed and flustered so typically this leads to them running from the room to hide and because of that it takes them a very very long time to actually go forward in their first real romantic relationship. xD

That’s why Falulu is the BIGGEST problem for Hibiki, because she’s too innocent to get embarrassed and she’s very honest about what she’s thinking and feeling and very straight forward. So she sits there and says “^O^ Falulu loves Hibiki most of all!

Feel like rambling about lore so here I go:

When I started Flight Rising I didn’t really have any big plans for my clan. It really started as a reflection of my own personal comfort. I went with the Shadow Flight not because of the puzzles aspect (though that’s pretty awesome), but at the concept of having these mysteries and being able to keep to yourself. It’s the equivalent of jazz hands worth of explanation and the lack of aesthetic organization drives me nuts here, but without a proper preamble let me tell you about my first group.

Scavenger Family:

They don’t really have a formal name, but it’s literally just my two progens who happen to collect other dragons along the journey of their lives. The thing is, I didn’t really see Axial and Ultra as the types of dragons that would create a settlement. They were scavengers who only knew how to survive on their own and trust each other. Initially they were very nomadic, but recently they have a main home back within the Tangled Woods. They’re structure is informal and based on interpersonal connections. Their family is not limited by walls or whether or not the other dragon resides with them, but by the bonds formed. Axial acts as a very parental figure mostly because he has a very deep compassion for the dragons that they become close with. Whereas Ultra is far more logical (don’t get me wrong she’s quite emotional, just not parental) with how their family works. They’re loyal dragons that really don’t have strong ties to the religion of their world. While they interact with the dragons residing inside it, they themselves are almost cut off just by their lifestyle. Literally a cabin in the woods with dragons that live on the items they’ve scavenged and sold. 

Viperaden:

In contrast, when I made the Viperaden i wanted something not super structured but more organized. I wasn’t sure what I wanted this organization to be formed on. My friend who had gotten me into Flight Rising, was super kind and would give me some of her dragons for free. Among these dragons were Starling, Deckard, and Carmine. Carmine was my first guardian and, not wanting to stray too far from established lore, I played around with the concept of what a charge would be. And I just got stuck on the idea of concept in general - how does a dragon defend an idea? Or a word with bigger connotations? Given her aesthetic and the fact that I really wanted her in Viper armor, I decide to give her the charge of War. Starling, who comes from a cultist family, became her second in command while Deckard became cynical dragon with Starling as his charge. Somehow, through that, I created a clan dedicated to the concept of war and chaos. The Viperaden is focused on the ideology that destruction and conflict is necessary in order to allow progression of the world. War is something to encourage, conflict, death, destruction, and immoral actions should be done because that is what the gods would want. I’m rambling. Anyways, the structure of the Viperaden is that there is a cohesive unit with specific dragons in charge of specialized responsibilities that allow the viperaden to prosper, however it’s spread out across the regions so that the ideology can spread regardless of boundary. There isn’t a single head quarters, just a hydra of heads. They aren’t. Good dragons and most of the behavior is problematic. But. Uh, words. 

Mangisu Tribe:

Formed by Pippin, this clan is dedicated to peace. Of my groups, this one is the most structured with an established piece of land dedicated to different sections of living within the Viridian Labyrinth. They have a large military, but it’s military dedicated to helping other clans in needs. They have an entire section dedicated to acting as a safe haven for refugees and other dragons seeking asylum as well as a market and large tracks of farmland. I feel that it’s more structured because you need to have structure in your life to have some peace. It’s hard to put this in words, but i feel that it’s easy to be terrified when things are out of your control and chaotic whereas there’s more stability with some structure. idk. This one is a work in progress, but the tribe works alongside the structure of the jungle. Lot of hobbit holes and tree houses. It’s great. 

Miscellaneous: 

I don’t really have a name for most of these dragons yet, but really this group means dragons that have passed away. However with my lore, death is certainly not the end of a dragon’s lore. For me, there is a plane where Nocs born during the Night of the Nocturne disappear to during the rest of the year. This plane is where the dead appear, a sort of purgatory where souls wander around and attempt to find the gods’ afterlife lairs to serve. It’s a mixture between dragons that have died and dragons that just were born during a strange time. So, as far as structure, it varies. I imagine it’s a bit like a mimicry of the initial world and this world is more desaturated. I’m sure there are towns built and even sections dedicated to the dead and some dedicated to the living Nocs. I have a few dragons who are deceased and running around lost in there, but I also have powerful dragons who tend to take advantage of lost souls too. This hasn’t really come up often in the RPS and the plans for this are malleable to change, but for now it’s pretty much the above.
