If you write for the cringe links then may I request Yandere! Courage (Animated Link) with a reader that's open to giving him affection?
Like when he constantly asks for kisses and such they just, give them to him and he's soo smitten with them for it?
Of course! This one got to be a little long so it’ll be under the cut, hope it’s satisfying!
Courage, along with Korodai to some degree, is an absolute sucker for affection and that’s all because of his Zelda - just in a backwards way.
See, the thing with Courage and his Zelda is - if we assume the cartoon is completely canon - that they eventually fell into a very predictable cycle that didn’t end until he eventually left to join the Chain and met you. The two of them would face whatever problem Ganon sent their way, bickering all the while, and then he’d go in for a kiss, only to get interrupted.
He’s gotten kisses from Zelda before, he’s gotten hugs and affection from her on a few occasions in fact, but it’s always something he has to earn. He can’t just say “can I have a kiss” and she’ll just give him one without getting embarrassed or offended.
It’s not like this is some great moral failing on her part, but it does mean that Courage ends up being used to half-jokingly asking for some shred of physical affection only to be met with instant rejection. He doesn’t mind, he’s used to this kind of reaction, he’s prepared for this kind of reaction.
What he is not used to is being given what he asks for without any hesitation.
The first time it happens it’s a complete shock to his system, he asks for a kiss and gets one pressed against his cheek almost instantly. And when that happens he’s left standing there for a second, wide eyed and still as a statue, before he blushes and stutters like he’s never been touched before.
And the thing is, it isn’t the kiss itself that makes him so flustered, it’s how easily he’s given it by you. There was no groan or hesitation or anything that indicated that you were doing it begrudgingly.
He asked for a kiss and he got the kiss, and he got it with you being completely willing and even happy to do so.
In the moment, Courage does his best to brush this off with his usual banter and demeanor, but the moment stays in the back of his mind as he keeps replaying it over and over and over. It’s pretty much the only thing that he can think about when he’s around you, wondering if that was just a one time thing.
Eventually, Courage decides to take a risk and ask once more for a kiss, he even points to the cheek you kissed last time. And just like before, you spare him that sliver of affection without a second thought, and he understands that this isn’t a fluke.
It isn’t a world changing revelation by any means but it sets him on the path to moving on from his Zelda with you.
Of course, this doesn’t just end with Courage being simply smitten with you as he treads down a path of unrelenting obsession.
By the time Courage reaches the peak of his madness, he pretty much requires your affection to function. If he feels like he hasn’t received the normal amount of attention from you he’ll become paranoid and spiral inside his own mind, wondering if you’re tired of him.
But instead of confronting you about this, Courage falls back onto old habits and decides that this just means that he needs to prove himself worthy of your love! At the end of the day you may find him returning to camp with either an animal carcass or a token he scavenged from whatever beast he encountered while out.
All the while he has this expectant look on his face, like he’s waiting for you to praise him and give him a hug for all the hard work he did.
If you do, great! Now you have a blood covered, lovesick hero following you around for the remainder of the night(until you force him to go wash up). If you don’t, that’s fine, just don’t be surprised when his attempts to earn your praise become increasingly more outlandish and brutal.
Though, since he’s completely desperate for your approval, you shouldn’t keep him working too long cause it’ll really begin to show from how little he’s sleeping to the deranged muttering under his breath.
Overall, Courage at his best is like a lovesick puppy dog, always following your around in the hopes that you’ll give him some of your love, and at his worst he’s a desperate, deranged man willing to present his severed limbs to you if it’ll earn your affection.

rosyspell doesn’t have the special chapters of pbd. would you be able to summarize them? 💞💞
hi nonnie! of course i'd be happy to (o゜▽゜)o☆
full disclaimer: my knowledge of 188 novels is still limited so i might not cover all of the special chapters, these are just the ones i've been able to read/know due to the handful of vietnamese/english translations i've been accessible to.
so there are generally a lot of official extras: the written word extra chapters, additional material like interview with the characters, official chibi/cartoon au... which is why for this post i'll just focus on summarizing the post-canon extra chapters. i'll also be linking a few translations i found.
Post-canon extra chapters of Professional Body Double
(i read all of these post-canon extra chapters through a vietnamese translation here, you can google translate and get the gist of them)
Daily life a couple: Ming is sulky at Joe for always being so busy with work because he's busy himself but he can always spend time with Joe while Joe has a lot of projects to film. Joe coaxes Ming by agreeing to go on a short trip with him to the beach. They have kinky sex on the beach.
Period of Happiness: Joe surprises Ming by returning home early from his work trip. Joe hears the sounds coming from the bedroom while Ming quickly turns off what he was watching. Joe got curious so he secretly looks at what Ming had been watching, turns out Ming was watching old films which Joe 1.0 starred in. Joe feels conflicted, a bit envy of his old face, is kinda forlorn and down mood. Next morning, Ming notices something's wrong with Joe and apologizes profusely to Joe for watching films of Joe 1.0 while Joe is like it's fine (he was in fact, not fine). In the evening, Joe tells Ming he's gonna take a walk outside but Ming got all paranoid that Joe is still mad at him and starts crying and begging him to stay, promising he'll never watch films of Joe 1.0 again if Joe stays (all this kid knows is how to beg and cry lawd). Joe is like no he's just worried that Ming cannot fully accept his new look compared to his old one. Ming was like no he should be the one worrying here, worrying that one day Joe can get upset and leave him without saying goodbye like Joe once did. Ming does regret that he's never had a picture taken with Joe 1.0 but promises that he only loves the current Joe in front of him. They had hot emotional sex after resolving their conflict.
Injured Xiang-Ge: Joe gets injured on set and broke his rib a little bit. Ming immediately flies home to see Joe and take care of him. Ming expresses his fears and worries about what if one day Joe hits his head and lose all conciousness of Joe 1.0 or if Joe 2.0's soul return to this body. Joe reassures Ming that he will be more careful later on when filming.
New Year Vacation: A snowstorm hit the set where Joe is filming, causing a delay in production. Joe messages Ming to coax him about not being able to come back home in time to celebrate Lunar New Year with him. Ming surprises Joe at the hotel where he was staying to celebrate new year with him.
Jealous Little Gong: Ming is jealous over the news reporting about Joe's new film and dating rumors with his actress co-star. Joe is being sickenly sweet trying to coax Ming.
Summer Limited (adapted audiodrama here): famous actor Joe is invited to Italy for Milan Fashion Week, Ming is somewhere in Europe working around the same time so he received an invitation to the FW by the organizers to walk with Joe. Ming surprises Joe with his appearance and they're all lovey dovey with their public appearance at Joe's hesitance because it's implied that Ming's father still disapproves of his gay son.
Vacation in Munich in 2018 (english tl here): Joe takes some time off acting when he's at the height of his career to travelled with Ming to Germany where Ming is supposed to be working there for some time. They take a walk around the city one day and run into a female acquaintance of Ming. Basically Ming teases Joe about whether he's jealous, they're just being lovey and dovey bantering.

I think part of the reason I'm so affectionate toward Hunters is just how off-the-wall it feels. "Let's just throw up all the crazy, cool ideas we have and see what sticks" kind of energy. Metroid has always had its own particular vibe, sitting in this weird tension between Retrofuture Biological/Eldritch Space Horror and Hype Super Robot Anime. Hunters is still kinda doing some of that, but also kinda not.
Most typical multiplayer first-person shooters at the time, meanwhile, were in their Brown Is Real phase, along with an overabundance of Iraq War Jingoism. Even Halo, much as I do appreciate it for being... less that than the rest, still had undercurrents if you look at the subtext any amount. So Hunters, being a more multiplayer-focused shooter, could easily have gone that direction too if so inclined. But nope, not that either.
I don't know how to really describe it, honestly. The designs, if anything, remind me of like, Ben 10 aliens or Buzz Lightyear or Toonami Tom almost. There is just this very distinctly Early Aughts Saturday Morning Action Cartoon vibe to these characters and their backgrounds that you didn't see anywhere else in games, and just don't see anywhere period now. It's definitely still Metroid, especially with the main stuff with the Alimbics and Gorea, but it's also doing its own thing. And for how different it was from other shooters, Hunters also feels like it couldn't have been made any other time than exactly when it was.
The Prime Trilogy is already responsible for broadening the scope and adding a ton of worldbuilding. And then Hunters, this obscure spinoff on hardware much too limited for its ambition, tosses out all these crazy things in the span of some character bios that could fit on the back of an action figure blister pack, and refuses to elaborate further. And I think that's part of the vibe right there - action figures. They feel like action figures for some weird Jetix cartoon, and I adore that so so much.

So in “Back in Action”, it is claimed that if Porky dropped his stutter, he would be rendered unfunny. Do you think this is true?
i think there’s a big misconception that Porky’s stutter pulls more weight than it actually does. it can absolutely add its own humor and certainly a lot of charm, but i wholeheartedly disagree that he needs it to be funny
the stutter can be an avenue for a lot of fun or charming gags (the ever reliable bait and eh-sweh-swee-eh-swetch-swi—beh-bai-eh-bait and eh-seh-sweh—the ever reliable switcheroo is always a favorite, but the rare occasions where it’s actually acknowledged by Porky himself make for some fun situations too), but Porky’s personality is i think wholly independent from his speech patterns and many of his best cartoons aren’t because he has a stutter and nothing else. it can help with charisma for sure, and i definitely think it would be an odd if he didn’t have it, but… it’s like a topper for what’s already there. stutter or no stutter, he’s a bumbling, oblivious but endearing innocent. the stutter i think helps to convey all that, but is like a compliment to an already founded ensemble
outside of the bait-n-switch wordplay (which can be genius in its own right but IS often used as a crutch by directors when they’re having trouble finding inspiration for him), it’s rare that Porky or other characters really comment on the stutter. likewise, very rarely is it made fun of, and if it is it’s usually by characters who are purposefully supposed to be conveyed as assholes in the moment. which, y’know, is good! it’s not something that’s often noted by other characters and i think that does help in showing that he’s more than just a guy who stutters and doesn’t really single him out.
and you have clips like this for example—i didn’t notice anything odd about it until i noticed there wasn’t a stutter, and even then the personality is still all there in the voice (and mannerisms.) likewise, there’s quite a bit of his dialogue that he goes through without stuttering because having him stutter on every single sentence ever WOULD be excessive. it’s definitely an art, all of the varying directors have different variations of his stutter and as i said before, sometimes you CAN tell when the directors are struggling with inspiration because that’s when the switcheroos come out in close concentration; i don’t think it’s Porky being an unfunny character so much as it is the occasional lack of inspiration. the personality is VERY much there, but sometimes it can be hard to find depending on the circumstances. i have a hard time pinning that as a problem exclusive to Porky
i guess it depends who you ask. i am a Porky nut and often make a point to try and get people to come to The Pork Side because i feel he’s very underrepresented and a very FUNNY character at that! so i’m a bit biased—some other people may think he IS only funny because of the stutter. i personally think that’s very false and puts a lot of faith on the stutter when (at least in the originals) it’s not something given a lot of importance from the characters themselves. i can only really think of one cartoon where the stutter is central to the plot (two if you count the days with his original voice actor, whose stutter was natural)—it would certainly be odd without it, and i can see how it adds a lot of charm and some personality, but people who say he’s ONLY funny because of the stutter are usually people who don’t know how to write him to begin with

I'm assuming Fang's username is a play on something, but I can't figure out what?
It's a Homestar Runner joke, actually! See, while Fang isn't really based on anyone, I used Tr0g from RTVS as a jumping-off point for creating the character of Gordon's stream producer-- mostly just his choice of username. As many know, Trog is short for Trogdor the Burninator, the iconic dragon character drawn by Strong Bad. I started combing through sbemails to find bits and phrases that could make a fun username.
When I got to kids book, an old favorite of mine, I found what I was looking for in Strong Bad's invented word "fangoriously". Then I worked backward-- why would someone latch onto this word? Have they been using this as a name for a long time? How have they changed since then?
Fang latched onto this fun word because it was used in conjunction with his first name, though he uses the one-L spelling of Hilary. It also gave him a more fierce and funny name to use during his early teen years, when he was figuring things out with his identity (and going through the crucial Edgy Fursona phase). He's not the same person in his late 20s as he was in middle school, but he's proud of all parts of himself.
That's why he kept his first name when he transitioned-- for one thing, Hilary is a historically neutral name, but to paraphrase Eddie Izzard from her routines in the 90s, "they're not women's dresses, they're mine. I buy them." Hilary's not a girl's name on Fang, it's just his name.
(by the way, the Kids Book cartoon has a gender joke in there that didn't age very well. It was the mid 2000s internet, we learn from it. It's still a very funny toon.)

Hm ok what's your favorite or a really cool worlbuilding thing you've done? For any fandom or original or even an unimplemented idea
Hmm well at least in the past decade, my big worldbuilding projects have mostly come down to three-ish stories: Other Side of the Gun, Adventures of Gæilo and Ethon, and Just Desserts
OSG was an Invader ZiM fancomic concept I started around 2013 to justify every single Irken headcanon I ever came up with lol - I never finished it, or even really started it, but I put a lot of time and energy into its roughs back in the day :)
^A stick figure recap of Ch. 1, inspired by - what else - the Vargas stick figure recaps lol
One that you can see over here is all the work I did for my DnD campaign, AGE! (Though its sideblog hasn't been updated in a while haha - the AGE tag over here works just as well) I basically homebrewed a pantheon and had an absolute blast designing all the gods and their forms before they became gods and even things like architectural differences in their churches and the BBEG and his motivations and just ah <3 Such a fun project :D
It also laid the groundwork for things like Pokemon Homestyle, specifically all my papercrafts! You can really see how I leveled up haha
And my latest has been Just Desserts! Even with less time under its belt, it's still pretty expansive, as evidenced by my icon and theme and the backlog lol, and it's the one I have the most AUs of! (Though OSG does come close actually haha) There are still some thorny details I'm trying to iron out, especially to do with the magic system, but all the characters and creatures and the fact that I made my own fighting minigame, ah, pleased! I've never been so happy with a sona before Charm! ♥ From the very beginning it's been so fun to work on and I still want to improve!
