Edit: Remembering that each of their fire powers are different. Quirk, Magic, Alchemy, Bending, Flames, Chakra...

I think, given the way the fire power is acquired and the power system of the world...

It would be the FMA world, given Flame Alchemy is rare and dangerous power, another person with Fire Ability (even if its not Alchemy, not sure if they could tell) would be shocking

Or maybe Zuko? Because of the whole Fire Nation thing and someone that can control fire and isn't a Firebender?

Shoto? Having a proper teacher for his fire side? A good thing that he can relate to fire instead of his crazy father? That can help him accept his power? And someone that insist they are Quirkless, yet can control fire?

Hiei? Connecting with his fire side? The Koorimes don't like him for begin a male (with exception of Yukina), so maybe finding kinship in another fire powered person would be nice? Idk, Yukina could have fire powers too. Shoto maybe, since they are both half-half?

KHR's characters, the place were all powers come from fire powers, begin stunned of the existence of non-Flames fire powers?

Can I ask for any of the KHR Cast headcanon for the Reader/Romantic partner in handling the box animals ? I'm really interested in seeing how it would be to like have Nuts/Natsu at first being scared of Tsuna's Partner then warming up later on, Uri absolutely loving Gokudera's Partner but getting possessive not letting even Gokudera be with them, Roll actually being vulnerable with Hibari's lover

Of course you can ask for that! And don’t worry, I both love rambling and completely understood what you meant! Because you said any of the cast, I kind of just chose the box animals I had ideas for, so I do hope that these are headcanons that you enjoy and some of the ones you wanted!

Okay, I’m just going to start off by saying how I feel about the Box Weapons who have animal forms. Now, the Box animal will only be summoned if the ring, flame, and box are all of the same type and their abilities and, I feel, their personalities, are really based on the strength of the flame and the personality of the Flame user. That being said, they only respond to that exact flame, from that exact user so the significant other in all of these cases could not control or summon the exact Box animal that their partner has. But the Box animals do have substance and actual physical bodies and are shown to be able to interact with the environment, so they could interact with the significant other.

Natsu is going to play shy with Tsuna’s partner at first, you are definitely right about that. But, like I said, I feel like the Box animals are influenced by their Flame owner’s personalities, intentions, and desires so Natsu is influenced by Tsuna’s protectiveness over his family and his partner. While I do agree that he’d warm up a little as time goes on and he’s out more, I think he’s always just slightly shy around Tsuna’s partner and doesn’t want a lot of pets or physical contact from anyone other than Tsuna. That being said, he will follow them around somewhat and just kind of shyly keep an eye on them and wouldn’t hesitate to protect them if he needed to.

I have always loved the idea of Uri seeming to like Gokudera’s partner more than she likes Gokudera because it’s just so cute. I don’t think she’s out all the time because that takes up a lot of flame and a lot of Gokudera’s physical stamina would be eaten up if that was the case, but I do think that when she’s out, she does curl up in Gokudera’s partners lap and she’ll purr extra loud and let his partner pet her or play with her. She’s very protective and possessive of Gokudera’s partner but that does stem from the fact that Gokudera is so heavily protective of, and can be accused of being slightly possessive of, his significant other and Uri is just more comfortable showing it. That all being said, I think if Uri is summoned while Gokudera and his partner, that does change a bit. While she’ll never attack or scratch his partner because Gokudera always gets the brunt of that, she’ll act more brattish to his partner, doing little petty things like laying on their keyboard when they need to work, tipping over their glass, or scratching up papers they need, just because she’s influenced by some of Gokudera’s upset feelings.

Now, Bester is stand-offish at best to everyone. Don’t touch Bester, no matter what. But Bester is better with Xanxus’ partner than with anyone else, other than Xanxus himself. I really feel like, while Bester won’t cuddle with Xanxus’ partner or get too close, they lay down at Xanxus’ partner’s feet quite a bit, just to keep an eye on them. Xanxus won’t ever acknowledge his love for his partner in words or acknowledge in any way how protective of his significant other he actually is, but it’s well shown in the actions of his Box animal.

I feel like both Chrome and Mukuro use Mukurowl to communicate and keep an eye on either of their partner’s when they can’t do so. Mukurowl will have no problem perching on their partner’s shoulder or head and since Mukuro can easily possess the bird, he uses it to communicate telepathically with his or Chrome’s partner and to ensure that they are either safe or that they can take care of any danger that they might encounter.

Questions for the Mun

★ What type of historical AU would you like to do one day?

I am really fascinated by historical AU, something like Game of Thrones or House of Dragon but adapted to KHR. It could be fun. I've written a GoT AU in another fandom, but not yet in the KHR fandom.

As House Targaryen can use the power of dragons to their advantage, I imagine House Vongola can use the power of lions or felines in general to their advantage. Probably because Tsuna has Natsu as Tsuna's Vongola Box Weapon and Xanxus as another Vongola family has Bester. Sorry, Lannisters. XD

Now I wonder what their house words (their own official family motto) would be because these words often reflect the general character, philosophy, or political strategy that the family espouses.

It's just one of my crazy ideas in my head. XD

Of all the customers to walk into Leblanc, it was pretty rare for a student to be one.

At least when they aren't one of Akira's friends.

Fluffy brown hair and brown eyes, he looks younger than Akira.

"The Phantom Thieves of Heart, correct?" the boy asked.

Akira gave him a confused look while mentally panicking. "Sorry, what?"

"I'm Natsu," the boy introduced himself. "Please, there isn't much time. I rather not beat around bush."

Morgana at that exact moment decided to pop up from his hiding spot, which he wasn't supposed to do because Sojiro was right, pets shouldn't be in a cafe kitchen. "What is up with this kid?" Morgana asked.

"This kid needs the Phantom Thieves of Heart's help," Natsu said.

"...He heard me?" Morgana said. "That means... he's been in the Metaverse."

"Something like that," Natsu said. "Please."

Natsu, Akira and Morgana sit down to talk. Akira isn't going to risk his friends identities. There's no telling how much Natsu knows.

Natsu wants to hire them to steal someone's heart.

"Why?" Morgana said.

"They're a mafia boss," Natsu said.

"That's...a little more dangerous than what we deal with," Akira hesitantly but honestly says. Because everyone they dealt with so far was morally corrupt and covering up a long laundry list of crimes, but none of them criminals who would turn real weapons on them in real life. How would they even get close?

"I know," Natsu said. "So let me give you all the details you need."

Akira's eyes went wide at the level of detail of information Natsu gives him.

"I still don't understand," Akira said. "Why?"

Natsu smiled sadly. "He needs to be stopped, before he hurts someone."

"Seems like that's just something mafia bosses do," Morgana said. "Why not bring this information to the police?"

"It's complicated," Natsu said. "It's more important he has a change of heart...before he hurts me."

When put it that way, Akira and Morgana accept.

"What's his name anyways?" Akira asked, picking up photo that Natsu handed him. It was of a young man, a good ten years older than Natsu.

Natsu smiled. "Sawada Tsunayoshi, Vongola Decimo."

Khr/Avatar AU

Plot bunny that just appeared in my head.

The previous Vongola bosses are the nine previous incarnations of the Avatar

Tsuna is the latest reincarnation of the Avatar, being a Fire Nation commoner

This is important, as the current Fire Nation prince (Xanxas) was the person expected to inherit the role

Obviously, this is bad for Tsuna, who is taken away by the Airbending prodigy of the White Lotus, “Reborn” (current name unknown)

(The Acrobaleno are the current version of the White Lotus)

They visit the WL base in the Western Air Temple to regroup, where Tsuna befriends a young Airbender girl named Nagi

Once they leave the base, Tsuna is attacked by a hired assassin (Hayato), who is quickly defeated and joins the party

Then, they visit the Northern Water Tribe, and meet the Waterbending swordsmen, recruiting the young Takeshi into their ranks

Them the second assassin, an eight year old with the power to Lightning-bend, attacks. Feeling the situation to be absurdly messed up, Tsuna adopts the little cow boy.

Tsuna then finds a flame lion, names it Natsu, and has him join the boyband as his Avatar companion

Ryohei is an Earthbender, specializing in a “boxing style”

Kyoya is a non bender, like Hayato, but is still highly competent

Mukuro is an evil/dark spirit that possesses Nagi, turning her into Chrome

Iemitsu is a member of the Fire Nation Army, but doubles as a spy for the White Lotus. He’s still awful.

Fire Noble Dino takes a shining to the young Avatar, and helps him with his firebending

The Shimon is also there, but I don’t have a solid grasp on them yet

“I don’t want to!” Tsuna pouted while crossing his arms, staring up at the ceiling of his room. 

“Come on Tsu-Kun, it’ll be fun!” Giotto nudged from his place inside of Tsuna’s soul.

 “That’s what you always say and we always end up getting chased by the police!” Tsuna jabbed his finger up towards his ceiling to get his point across. Natsu cooed from his place on the pillow next to Tsuna’s head, head settled on his paws to watch as the two bickered as they did almost every night. 

“Just imagine it Tsu-Kun, flying through the air. Being up so high no one can see us, it’ll be good for you to get some exercise.” Giotto did his best to convince Tsuna to swap places with him. 

 “Now you sound like Kaa-San,” Tsuna grumbled, but silently did agree with Giotto. Flying was amazing and even though he wasn’t in control he could still see and enjoy it. 

“That settles it then! Flying we go!” Giotto said cheerfully and Tsuna let out a loud sigh of defeat. Tsuna rolled off of his bed to stand up properly.

 “I hate you,” Tsuna said without venom as he dug out a photo of Kyoko. His heartbeat became louder and faster as he stared at her smiling face. Tsuna closed his eyes as a tingling covered his body as he and Giotto swapped places. 

Tsuna went from a short, brunet to a tall, lean blond with glowing orange eyes glad in a black suit and an orange tie in an instant.

 “Ah, it feels good to be out!” Giotto stretched his arms above his head as he cracked his neck to the side. 

 “Gao!” Natsu lunged up at Giotto who laughed, catching the small lion cub and nuzzled him close. 

 “Alright Natsu, let’s go!” Giotto grinned as he stepped up to the open window of Tsuna’s room. Natsu purred as he glowed orange and settled on Giotto’s back as he shifted into large orange flaming wings. 

 Giotto launched himself into the sky and smiled as the wind whistled by his face and he did a few loops in the sky out of excitement. 

 “Just don’t go too low or we’ll be seen and for the love of God, don’t get caught!” Tsuna reminded. 

 “I know Tsu-Kun, just relax and enjoy the ride!” Giotto soothed his partner before aiming his body so he would fly higher up into the sky. 

Giotto couldn’t resist letting out a cry of excitement as he dropped a few hundred feet before his wings flared out and caught him. He just cruised around Namimori for a while after that spike of excitement and Tsuna screeching in the back of his head. 

“Well, well, look who is out and about on this wonderful night.” Giotto mused as his excellent eyesight caught the sight of a familiar blond on the road below.

 “Wait, no, no, Giotto! Don’t even think about it!” Tsuna denied as Giotto circled down toward the ground. The blond perched on the head of a lamppost and flared out his wings dramatically to catch attention.

 “Giotto!” The blond man yelped, his hand flying to his hip holster. 

 “Detective Dino, what has you out on this fine night?” Giotto purred and ignored the sputtering Tsuna was making in the back of their shared mind space. 

 “Needed to clear my head is all. I hope you’re not out here to steal something.” Dino’s eyes traced over the flaming orange of Giotto’s wings. 

 “Not at all Detective, just enjoying the night like you,” Giotto promised, holding up his hands to show they were empty. 

 “Good, it would be a shame if I had to arrest you tonight.” Dino relaxed, hand falling from his sidearm. 

 “Hmm, a shame it would, even if I think I would look fetching in your handcuffs.” Giotto purred while Tsuna made a sound akin to a dying cat in the back of his head. Giotto grinned when a cute blush appeared on Dino’s cheeks. 

“STOP FLIRTING WITH HIM!” Giotto just closed an eye in reply, but to Dino, it looked as if the Phantom Thief was winking at him and the blush deepened.

 “Ah, how cute,” Giotto sighed as he straightened up from where he had been crouched on the lamppost. 

 “I’ll see you around Detective.” Giotto saluted the detective with one finger before his large wings lifted him into the sky and he was gone. 

“You know if you have a new crush we should replace the photo of Kyoko.” Giotto teased. 

“Oh shut up,” Tsuna sulked. 

 “He is cute, I can see why you like him. Considering you work at the coffee shop across the road and see him every day I’m shocked I don’t come out more often,” Giotto did a lazy circle of the town as he spoke.

 “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Tsuna huffed before falling silent and Giotto knew Tsuna had fallen into a version of sleep in their mind space.

“I’m sure you don’t,” Giotto mused before falling silent. Giotto wondered how long it would take for Tsuna to realize his true feelings. 

Giotto wondered how long he had until he had to sleep again until the new generation was born for him to come back and aid them as he did with every male of the Sawada line thus far. Until that day Giotto would savour every moment with his favourite Sawada and continue to tease the brunet about the handsome Detective.

Something in my gut and heart drew me back to Natsu and KHR like. a week or two ago? So I did the only sensible thing--

binge-reread all of the manga in like 3-4 days))

((BESIDES THAT-- I’ve revamped and rebranded the blog, new theme and all, but it’s still pretty much the same ol’ Natsu from back then so no worries(though redoes on relationships are all good with me if you want!). I find it kinda hilarious and sweet(and mindboggling) that I subconsciously matched up with some of y’all coming back too omfg I love it I’m so glad!!

That said, it’s been a lil bit since I’ve rped on here(like 2 years?) so it’ll take some getting use to again, apologizes in advance! It’s good to be back!!))

I’m usually on the “filler chapters in KHR aren’t bad” side, but

I have to admit, when you’re actually paying for the books, if you buy the first five books, by the end of the fifth one there is still no serious plot happening and it doesn’t exactly encourage you to keep reading. Especially considering each book costs nearly 7€: that’s 35€ and still no sight of the ring battle or even just the Kokuyo gang. It just goes like: “new secondary character is introduced”, “filler stuff”, “filler stuff”, “filler stuff”, “new secondary character is introduced”, “filler stuff”, “filler stuff”, and so on.

I love what it does for showing the characterization, it’s great to see them do normal stuff instead of the story being 95% fight and heavy plot, and it’s also nice to see cameos of characters who wouldn’t have that much “screen time” otherwise, like Dino or I-pin, but if you’re not already into it it’ll probably just feel really slow.

What I think is amazing though, is how she buried the foreshadowing of some future stuff in these early chapters. Like Shoichi? He appears in chapter 13 but good luck remembering that little terrified kid when they mention someone called Irie Shoichi who is supposed to be the big bad villain of the Future Arc. Another one, which I actually hadn’t noticed until I read the manga, is that during the Zoo visit, they mention the animal who would fit Tsuna the best is a lion (and guess what animal is Natsu?).
