Chrollo

Now what the hell do you think you're doing?

It's good to see that you're still capable of social interaction, but getting all buddy buddy with the other partners will make him extremely jealous.

His jealousy doesn't stem from his fear of them taking you away from him, it's purely because he thinks that HE should be the only one you spend your leisurely time with. Not some nobodies.

Chrollo is very straightforward and verbal in his expression of feelings. He will tell you to knock it off and stay near him for now on.

Maybe he will be more lenient when you talk to them from a distance.

Disobey and you will lose many privileges. It's not too often the troupe has meetings, so if there is a next time to prove yourself, (Assuming you've made up a lot for it and have obtained outside pleasures) you'd better either keep your head to the ground, or your eyes boring into his.

Eyes are the windows to the soul aren't they? Personally, Chrollo agrees with this sentiment. 

But if you're planning on escaping with the aid of that other partner, you better pray he takes some kind of psychological pity on you.

He WILL find out about it. Chrollo is a master manipulator and can read others out very well after some time.

Regarding that he has taken everything from you, he will know that you are keeping something from him.

It's not as if he didn't predict this, but it still dissapointed him.

Punishment is never tortuous, but it's direct and precise. Chrollo takes want he wants no matter how he gets it.

Sometimes you think of it as a blade hidden under his long sleeve. He closes in, saying things you wish not want to hear again, and strikes you in the most vital parts.

Phinks 

Literally does not care that much if you don't make a big deal out of it. Though, he does make sure you stay close and listens in to check you're not conspiring or anything. 

He will only get pissed if you seem really giddy after interacting with the other partner or if you keep looking around like an idiot for some kind of opportunity.

Somewhat playful about it. Phinks will tease you condescendingly, implying things you know you would be immensely punished for. 

Your terrified face and nervous defensive speech strokes his ego a lot. 

Yeah that's right, you're his. Only he works to make you that happy. Any other being trying to lure you into their untrustworthy hold will get their head spun around back and over. 

But if you're planning something against him, he will have no hesitation and will take you back home that instant.

Informs troupe members he encounters that he has personal business while dragging you out by your arm.

The boss is more understanding when it comes to partner business, so he approves of his actions.

Punishment is painful yet effective. The next time the Troupe meets up, you dare not to look at anyone else. Especially that other darling.

It seems like they were punished too.

Nobunaga

Why the hell are you ruining everything for yourself? 

He's a very moody and emotional person. Seeing you enjoy yourself with that other person will make him extremely envious and agitated.

If you're REALLY enjoying it then things will take a turn for the worst.

Nobunaga will walk up to the two of you and intimidate the other partner. The yandere of that partner will most likely not take kindly to that, and they will start to have a verbal dispute. 

Chrollo will have to silence the two and might even toss a coin to decide what to do about the outburst.

When you two get home, you will be heavily interrogated. If you don't declare your very existence and devotion to your "relationship", then off to the lions you go.

Nobunaga always makes punishment personal; Insulting you and putting words in your mouth. Never leaves you alone and makes it a point to let you know how much you hurt him, and how bad he is going to hurt you.

But if you are simply having small talk, then Nobunaga will pull you aside and tell the yandere to keep their partner away from his lover. 

The yandere will most likely agree or wave off to his demands, and keep what's theirs to themselves.

His grip is swift and harsh. You feel like a brick in calloused hands waiting for an open opportunity.

Nobunaga doesn't think before he acts in social situations. His feelings take over and his sword swerves up and around, aimed towards person contradicting his own view.

He is greedy, not selfish. 

Safe to say that you now don't open your mouth at meetings anymore unless you're told to…

Franklin

Eh as long as you're happy and not doing anything stupid.

He knows you need to talk to someone else other than himself. You are human after all.

Franklin will question you about your conversations. He secretly hopes you talked about him in a flattering light, but he knows that most likely was not a subject brought up.

Unless you want to get smart and start conspiring, you best not let him hear in on too much or find out.

Franklin is an observer and only acts when needed. His quiet and large stature is enough to intimidate most, so when he tells you he knows, confess and apologize as if you life depended on it.

He is a very patient, rational and calculating man, so he knows what you need when you need it.

It's better to stay docile rather than to mess up because you thought you could fool him. Did you think just because you found an easy way out, that you had even the slightest chance of keeping it a secret from him? Franklin of all people?

The man who is basically the troupe's second leader, the man who literally shoots nen bullets out of his hands, the man who could SNAP YOU IN HALF if he wanted to.

Punishment is not as bad as it would be if you actually did escape, but it still resulted in you being closed off to others much more than to him.

But other than that he doesn't mind you a few friends here and there. Just as long as you're loyal to him, he carries on without much issue.

Isn't the jealous type. More possessive.

Hey. So I just got back some results of an exam I did two months ago. And it was the most important exam I have ever taken. And I was so anxious about it and I studied for MONTHS. I really tried my best and there were times I even cried while studying bc it was so much (I think it's the first time I've cried while studying lol)

And I didn't pass. And it fucking sucks and I'm crying a little bit (well, a lot) and I feel horrible

But I just wanted to thank you for this part of last chapter.

His thought process is always the same every time he loses – what did I do wrong? When he was training for the Olympics, he had a whole team prepping him for it. There was a sports psychologist too. She’d always tell him, when things go wrong, don’t always wonder what you did wrong. Because sometimes things go wrong because the things around us aren’t working right. You shouldn’t always blame yourself as the first step because sometimes no matter how hard you try, things just won’t work out.

It just sucks rn. But I remembered this and felt a little bit better.

I meant what I said. Sometimes it doesn't matter how hard you try and things don't work out. It's just how things are and it really sucks.

But what you should ALWAYS take away is not that you failed, but that you are someone who tries really hard. I think, perhaps, all this hard work is meant for something else. I know you will find it. .

When I was in school, we learned an interesting concept in child psychology called the growth mindset: parents should always praise effort rather than just the outcome. For example, instead of saying "you did so well!", it's better to say "you worked so hard!" Instead of saying "You're so smart!", you can say: "I can see how hard you've been studying."

Because this helps children understand that their efforts matter regardless of the outcome. Otherwise, children may learn that their efforts only count when they are successful.

I wish more adults were taught this too.

I am so proud of you for putting in the effort.

I believe that when the right opportunity comes your way, this hard work will lead you to where you're meant to be (it may sound cryptic, but trust me on this).

-- yes!!!! they were very close friends in middle/highschool before yn moved away from utah, to indiana, due to a job opportunity for their dad. their father is a machinist!

yn was very withdrawn and shy in school, and very afraid of expressing themself, and vanessa was quite the opposite- very loud, sure of herself, huge risk taker. rebellious. she sorta did the extrovert-adopt-introvert thing with them and helped gradually drag them out of their shell. they grew very close, vanessa encouraging yn in everything and dragging them along with her on her crazy adventures around their small town and the nearby forest and things. ness was yn's only friend; vanessa had other friends, but she was closest with yn. when yn's family moved away, they fell into a pretty bad depression due to finally forming a solid bond only to have it ripped out of their hands. they and ness fell out of contact due to yn's lack of energy to respond, and by the time they regained that energy they felt too afraid to message her out of fear she would be angry at them, since she had already stopped trying to message them by the time they regained the energy to start communicating with others again.

vanessa recognizes yn immediately upon seeing them again in utah; they really havent changed a bit. by now they've half-retreated back into their meek, timid shell. vanessa's changed a lot, partly because of glitchtrap taking residence in her head, so yn doesn't recognize her at first; even if they did, they'd be too afraid to reach out to her again. luckily, ness has got enough bravery for the both of them.

do note, yn isn't completely helpless when the reunion point comes along; they still retain some of that bravery vanessa helped them develop in school; they've just reverted slightly back into their defense mechanism(?) of acting palettable and timid due to being isolated at school and in their new enviornment after their move again. theyre fighting fiercely to feel like life isn't completely out of their control and theyre just a passenger in their own life; it's part of the reason they moved back to utah on their own- but they're a little scared while doing it.

^ i severely paraphrased this ness and yn part, but ness and yn's friendship is really based off the friendship i have with my irl,,,, luckily i didn't lose contact with them when i moved, and i was lucky i didn't move to a whole new state, but i went through a really hard couple years (3, i think) where i could barely function and cried every day at school because i was so lonely. im lucky i have my best friend, and i want ness and yn's friendship to show how important they are to each other and how important and deep platonic friendships can be and are. i think they'd mean everything to eachother. i know that ness means a lot to yn.

*crowd boos* yea ok so i know i owe a lot of threads rn and as someone who is in as big of a debt as i am i have no place bringing in another muse but also i have no self control so. yeah im back with jaden fanning who's really the face of the formerly gifted child! he's an allara native paired with an unhealthy dose of escapism which brings him to terra! ...for work, of course! you know the drill: hit that LIKE button and i'll come running for plots again!

aquarius sun / virgo moon / libra rising

born and raised in los angeles! he's got a cookie cutter life with upper middle class parents who stuck together and 3 sisters, 1 older and 2 younger, and they're all relatively close in age! being the middle child and only boy means he basically gets to do anything he wants so even though his sisters pretty much gang up on him, life is pretty breezy honestly

jaden's also a really smart kid and he's one of those weirdos who genuinely enjoys maths so he really excelled in school! him and his sisters are all pretty high achievers in general, so growing up in that environment really helped foster his education

he gets into the compsci program in whatever version of mit is present a millennium later in allara and this is really where his life starts! living away from his childhood home, he was really able to break out of his mould! it's very much like if you've always been a class clown in hs, people expect you to only be a class clown and similarly in his home, people expected him to be jaden, their son / brother / whiz kid, but for once he was really able to just be whoever and do whatever he wanted!

absolutely bombs his first yr in uni thanks to his newfound freedom ( tho bomb in his family's standards is like a B- ) so his parents start calling, sisters start teasing him, everyone starts to get a little concerned for him and he kinda doesn't like disappointing people so he locks in! one thing he's learnt from this tho is that he kind of realises that he can never really be who he wants to be fully, because his family will always kind of be hovering over him ( like family ought to do but yk men n their need for independence )

anw he graduates thankfully and manages to snag an internship with allara's version of terrascape ( allarascape or sumn idk ) as an engineer! has been working there since and he's got some good critical thinking, work ethic & he's got an easygoing personality so he climbs the ranks pretty easily!!

only for things to grow so mundane again? his now 5y old job is very reminiscent of his childhood, how he's now shelved as a can-do engineer and everyone knows and expects him to always act in a certain way

at this point he starts looking for other jobs ( doesn't tell his parents tho bc they'd call him crazy and talk him out of it considering allara(scape) is like. the biggest company in allara im guessing ) and around sometime end of last year, he finds an opening at his company to transfer to terra as an inter-server compatibility engineer! it genuinely felt like the perfect opportunity for him so he applied immediately

doesn't tell his parents until he actually gets approved for the job and is told that he needs to relocate in like a month, and his parents are naturally sad about losing their son but he convinces them like hey, it's only semi-permanent and he can come back anytime if he doesn't like it, he's only doing this to move up in his career and what better way than to be in touch with the other part of his culture ( all lies btw he just wants some excitement in his life ) and his parents eat it up so they agree that he should take the job

but yes! that brings him to terra! he's moved over to the server for about a month or so now so he's literally a fresh face!

personality-wise jaden is really easygoing and has a very try anything once type of mentality! recently, he's been getting into the music of terra ( ngl he found it a lil rocky at the start but it's grown on him ), the games ( iron fist rocks btw ) and their cool dating app, but yeah he'll literally try anything to keep himself entertained!

in saying so jaden bores very easily... he's truly an aquarius at heart in that he loves to try new things but he also learns very quickly and gets bored of them once he does, so he'll run through many different hobbies and interests until he runs out then that jaded feeling leading into escapism comes creeping back in... luckily he's only on his first month in terra tho so the shine's gonna stay for at least 1-2 years still!

ironic but maybe the reason why he bores easily is because he's fostered a pretty boring life for himself 😖 definitely a lot more boy-next-door compared to some of the muses here so really, he's just your typical dude!

James and Severus’ relationship (canonically)

Okay so this is a very random and VERY long rant, so beware! I just need to share it with someone bc I’ve been annoyed with this for a long time lol.

In this fandom I now and then come across the "war" between Severus Snape defenders and James Potter defenders. I want to make it very clear here in the beginning that I am not defending anyone. I just think it’s a quite lob-sided argument on both sides.

I am in this post going to use the original seven Harry Potter books as source because I find it extremely weird when people use fan fiction in this kind of debate. Like I could write a fanfic rn where Snape is the loveliest person to ever walk this earth, but that would make this topic impossible to debate. Same thing goes for James. We cannot talk about how he was as an adult because we don’t know. All we know are that his closest friends through he was a great wizard, but they thought that when he was in school too. He might have been as lovely as he is in the fics, and he might not have been. The point is, it’s not relevant to this discussion.

Snape is a half blood, comes from a poor family where he is abused and neglected. His background, his not very respected family name, and the fact that he is pretty…uncharismatic… gives him a huge disadvantage from the beginning. This obviously makes him a very easy target, and to me it’s not so strange that he makes “friends” with the, from his perspective, strongest people in his house. He doesn’t want to become a target and he wants help to get away from his past.

James, on the other hand, is a pure blood, comes from a very rich and respected family, and he is VERY charismatic. This makes him extremely popular and has basically the entire school, including professors, in his back.

In the books it’s also clear that it was the marauders who started the beef with Snape by insulting him on their first ride on the Hogwarts Express. This in time led to Severus following the marauders around, trying to get them expelled. In return, James hexed Severus at every given possibility. This would’ve been pretty fair if James didn’t know he was pretty much untouchable with his status in school.

In the books it also says that James tended to enjoy hexing innocent students for no other reason than because he could. This shows just how arrogant and obnoxious he used to be. It is however said that he did get less stuck-up by the years, which was one of the reasons he and Lilly started dating. He still bullied Severus though, so he wasn’t all hugs and kisses.

After school, James and Severus naturally stayed away from each other. Snape followed his newly made “friends” and went down the dark path, following Voldemort. In his death-eater career he was very successful and one of Voldemort’s closer followers. He is the reason Voldermort knew about the prophecy and killed the Potters. When Snape begged Dumbledore for forgiveness, he basically said that he had tried to make Voldermort to keep Lilly alive but kill the rest. Dumbledore saw his opportunity and recruited Snape as his spy and after the war he protected him by taking him in as a professor.

Up to this point, I can kind of see where Snape is coming from. He was selfish, scared and a bit greedy. He wanted to get Voldermort’s approval and he wanted to gain from his success. He basically wanted to get as far away from the life he left behind as possible, which I can kind of relate to.

When he starts working at Hogwarts however, he bullies his students into fearing him, abusing his power as a professor. I mean he is so bad that Neville’s boggart is impersonating him. Neville has been through a lot, loosing both his parents, been bullied and been living with his very strict grandmother. Despite all this, his professor, whom part of his future relies on, is the thing he fears the most.

I don’t care what Snape does in the last two books, bc nothing from the point when he became an adult to his death can be excused. When he was in school, I personally think with the circumstances that James was worse, and he didn’t really get a chance to redeem himself from that.

Yeah okay that’s it. Sorry if I got a bit carried away. If I got some information wrong or if I missed something, please correct me. Can I send this to my English teacher as an essay instead of the one on the social media I’m writing? Would that count?

I’m also in a bit of a drawing slump and I also have mountains of assignments and tests in front of me so I won’t be posting for a while. I’m sorry about that

Are You Alone?

I've written several posts, I call "Passing Encounters," on Deviant Art. They're short memoirs of when I've been hit on by women in the most over-the-top way.

Below is my first entry:

One of the biggest lies my toxic, alcoholic first ex-wife told me was that I was lucky to be with her. No other woman would have me, or be attracted to me, she said. This deception came to a crashing end due to a chance encounter with a beautiful brunette.

I was stationed at an airbase on the west coast, serving as an aircraft maintenance technician. My first wife had a job with the local news agency, operating studio cameras and other devices. We only had one car at the time, that she mostly drove.

One night, I got lucky and managed to wrestle control of the car from her, but only after arguing with her for most of the day.

In return, I had to pick her up when she got off her night shift. Being late would be an excuse to resume our earlier argument. I set out early, but most places in town were closing down. So there was only one place nearby I was willing hang out: The town’s p*rn theater. (Back in the early 1980’s, video tapes were still new, and cellphones were only seen on episodes of Star Trek).

Since I didn’t plan on going anywhere fancy, I was dressed in my sloppy home clothes; rumpled T-shirt, and frayed blue jeans.

But when I stepped in to the theater’s lobby, I spotted the woman pictured below, and a guy who looked like a male p*rn star from the 70s. (Lots of body hair and a big mustache). The skirt was a bit longer, while her blouse was considerably looser. (The form of her attire are deliberate fabrications on my part, but I forgot to tell the AI she had small breasts and a trim figure). She looked like the stereotype image of a librarian or school teacher.

I thought, “What’s a woman like her doing in a place like this?” And I was immediately self-conscious of my slovenly appearance.

I sat down near the back row, and this couple entered shortly afterwards, sitting several seats away to the right of me. I can’t remember what movie was playing, because I was more interested in the real woman attending the show.

When the movie ended, she beckoned me to sit next to her.

As I sat down, she asked, “Are you alone?”

I responded, “For the moment, yes.”

She grabbed my right wrist and asked me, “Would you like to party with me, while my husband watches?”

As she propositioned me, she brought my hand under her skirt so I can feel her legs, encased in a pair of thigh-high stockings and supported by a garter belt. After feeling the tuft of her pubic hair, she brought my hand out and slipped it into her low-buttoned blouse so I could caress her soft breasts and hard nipples.

Meanwhile, her husband was leaning forward wearing a big grin of approval.

After a minute or so, I sighed in exasperation. I was almost willing to take my chances with this Naughty Librarian, even if it meant being watched by Mr. P*rnstar. (Or deal with some other dire consequences). Instead, I thanked her for her offer, but explained I had to go and couldn’t spend any time with her.

She sighed in return and said, “Oh, that’s too, bad. I was looking forward to someone spending the entire night with me.”

Well, as much as I was aroused by the idea, on this particular night, her party plan wasn’t going to involve me.

I’ve seen enough p*rn to be excited by the idea of a threesome. However, I needed to steer clear of this “opportunity” for the time being.

It’s not that I had any moral qualms at the time. My marriage was on a definite glide path to Marital Hell , so I felt no sense of loyalty.

However, despite the temptation, I walked away because:

I had to pick up my wife in less than 15 minutes.

And I couldn’t think of a lie big enough that would explain my absence for an entire evening. Not to mention, leaving her high-and-dry at work. (My ex knew my schedule down to the minute).

Much later, I realized this encounter could have been what spies call a “honey trap.” Luring gullible men (like me at the time) to their doom.

But in the end, I avoided both a sketchy situation, and an all out war with my wife, which I wasn’t prepared wage yet.

So I’m happy the way this encounter turned out.

Ultimately, I’m left with a fond memory of "Theater Girl.”

Some of my recent doubts

Recently realized that I'm autistic. I've read and watched so much information about that this month, and I'm quite sure I'm actually autistic, not just my misconceptions. And also a few years ago I already did the huge research, but I rejected it, because the same moment I was depressed and anxious??? and when I "healed" (I was taking medicine for prescription) I was thinking that the reason of my difference was depression and anxiety, but the fact is that 'difference' never disappeared AND it existed before this all. Now I guess my depression and anxiety was the consequences of my neurodiversity. Should I write more about my autistic experience?

The rest of the post is about my office work problems.

Not sure if I have ADHD or not, looks like it, but I need more research, and psychotherapist to talk with. At the moment I have huge difficulties with my office work, and it starts since I worked my first time. Never thought it would be so hard to concentrate on the common computer work, I was quite good at studying in the technical school (I'm an accountant), and this is the situation when learning wasn't as hard as fighting (in my country there's an idiom sounds like "difficult at learning - easy at fighting" or smth like that). The difficulty is in concentration and remembering things and multi-tasks, and especially deadlines. I always get nervous. But since I changed my job (switched one office to another, and almost a year I work here) and get a little different type of work, I started to feel better, and considering the different workload during the reporting period, I have many time to chill at work. But there's a different side of the coin - I'm starting to get used to sticking to my smartphone and doing it even if I have a work to do (never urgent, but it's better to do it right away). I think this is my personal problem, which should be solved by willpower, and it's not adhd.

But I have a need to talk to someone often and no opportunity to make friends here at the job because everyone is older than me at least in 10 years..... and I just feel it would be inappropriate if i...speak. Even if everybody is talking to each other about nothing, I just can't start doing the same or keep up the conversation?? Do they think I'm not friendly... I know boss lady likes me (the parental way probably?) She is kind and smiles to me a lot, and I am smol little rabbit 🐇🤲 with a stone-face 🗿 can you imagine. Sometimes my face goes 😳 but usually 🗿 or 😶. Anyway I have a frustration. Talk to meeeeeeeee (my colleagues, which I'm already used to)

I disabled most of the notifications I have during the day, and started to do to-do list (ahahahaahah lol to-do-to-do), so I can concentrate better. It helps, but sometimes I have an irresistible desire to google something RIGHT NOW, so next few minutes at work I read some useless information in the internet.

With Eddie in front of me, I took the opportunity to look at him for reference. I looked at him before looking back down at the sketch. Eddie had opened his metal lunch box, taking out a baggie. I glanced over and paused. “Really?” I asked, seeing the little buds inside the baggie.

“Does it bother you?” He asked and moved to put the baggie back in the lunchbox.

“Not really. Never had it.” I shrugged and he hummed.

“Remind me to fix that before our project is over.” He smirked and I shook my head. “You have to walk away at least a little corrupted by me after all this, c’mon!” He laughed, leaning forward on the table and turning his head to, I assume, catch my eye. I gave in, glancing at Eddie. He was grinning at me again and I pressed my lips together, fighting back a smile. “C’mon, give it to me.” Eddie goaded and I laughed, letting myself smile. “There it is!” He leaned back and took out his supplies again.

“So you come out here and what?” I asked him and he hummed.

“Sell some of it. Sometimes I get ready like I am today.” He explained as he took out a packet of rolling papers.

“Fun after school plans?”

“Oh, yeah.” He chuckled, “You should join me, Day.”

“How about another night, when I don’t have a math test tomorrow?”

He scrunched his nose. “Ugh, Mrs.Jeffers.” He stuck his tongue out and shook his head. “No, thank you.” He hummed and returned to making his joint.

“Yeah and I need to pass soooo.” I shrugged and looked at Eddie. I watched him for a moment. The way his brow creased as he concentrated. The way his tongue poked out from between his teeth as he worked on rolling the paper. Then said tongue moving along the paper as he finished rolling, using his saliva to secure the paper together. ugh— first of all

bakugou is not one for dares. he thinks dares are quite useless, and irrelevant

however, it was either him; bakugou katsuki, being labeled a chicken or

laying his head down on Y/N— his crush. it doesn’t seem so bad to be honest

but.. the problem is that no one excluding the bakusquad has an idea of his feelings towards you

little did he know, you also harbor feelings towards him.

his pride.. can’t be hurt from something like this. nah, that’d be embarrassing

so he decides to go through with the dare.

after dinner, and briefly before he goes to sleep—

he enters the ground floor, and walks past the common room, where the bakusquad was just chilling at

you’re sitting beside them, just chilling on your phone— while listening to their antics

the bakusquad’s just staring at him, with a knowing look adorning their expressions

bakugou blinks, and he can sigh irritatedly— as he walks towards the couch, standing in front of you

taking in your sheepish expression, and the fact that you gave him nothing but a rather.. contagious smile, he takes that as a good sign 

but he’s surprised when you set down your phone, and attaching one hand onto his head- petting luscious blond pieces of hair

he blinks- genuinely pleased by this action and the bakusquad goes beserk

“is that good enough for you, dumbasses?” he asks switching back to his usual self, and they don’t give him much of an answer- only sending him cheeky looks.

when it’s time to go back to your rooms, bakugou suddenly breaks the silence.

“based off your reaction, i could say you like me back.” bakugou says it in such a soft tone, which is very out of character

you can only nod, and before you guys part ways, bakugou grabs the courage to grab your face and kiss you love the pining

hitoshi shinsou

it was definitely kaminari that asked him to do this, i mean.. when was it not-

recently joining the hero course in his second year, finally after working hard for his spot in the class- he became classmates with you

the person he’s been crushing on for the last year or so.

again, hitoshi’s pretty chill when it comes to dares and class games, but he’s not someone that would indulge in them regularly.

but kaminari, being quite the social butterfly he is, waltzed over to the recent addition to their class

and asked him to lay his head on your lap. since he was having his suspicions of shinsou having a crush.

shinsou’s thinking like.. “damn, he definitely knows. i mean, he’s probably the only person that knows.”

thing is, he’s probably the least bold out of all of these characters. 

like.. he kinda wants to do it because it’s you but he’s also considering your feelings

oh boy.. if only you knew.

and he doesn’t want to embarrass you either. so he's just having a heart time just finding the perfect moment. 

scanning the hallway of any people, he pads right across it as he enters the common room

he’s surprised to see you chilling on the couch.

you squeak out a small noise startled by the sudden appearance of another person, but they immediately calm down realizing it’s shinsou

“didn’t expect to see you there,” you laugh, and he could only chuckle at your reaction, as he stand next to the couch 

his stomach is practically swarming with butterflies, but he replies anyway “you’re not staying in your room?”

“i didn’t realize how late it was,” you smile, “what’re you doing down here?”

“just getting a glass of water,” shinsou replies simply, silently trying his best to calm down his racing heart, shifting to stand infront of you 

it’s silent for a few seconds, and it feels like forever. but shinsou concludes that he might as well do it now. 

there's no one here to question his actions anyway.

dropping down, he pushes his head onto your lap- which surprises you because you never expected hitoshi shinsou; your crush 

to just.. suddenly settle his head on your lap. 

you’re flustered, but you love how the peaceful look on his usually tired out face.

placing your hand on his head, fingers weaving through purple locks- you allow a moment to pass by 

breaking the silence, you speak “how cute,” 

shinsou raises an eyebrow at your comment, and stands right up- walking away from the cut short moment. 

“where are you going?” you ask, since how could he just do that and walk away so casually?? 

“getting water, like i said.” the corner of his lips turn up slightly. “i’ll see you later. maybe we could do this more.”

you don’t reply- and shinsou could only laugh at the way you owlishly blink “now who’s the cute one now?” he pokes fun at your bewildered- yet cute expression, and it’s not long before he disappears into the hallway 

the next day, kaminari experiences such a field day when he finds out he did it. he could tell by the sheepish look on your face.

who’s the one that dared him? it was mina and kaminari

similar to bakugou, the bakusquad’s the only one that has a slight idea of your crush, and that includes bakugou 

to his dismay

so they dared kirishima to do this because it might just give you guys a head start. and they also wanted to see kiri’s reaction.

at first, kirishima was pretty reluctant regarding this dare, because.. how tf is he gonna do this??

is it unmanly to just.. walk up to you and plop his head right down onto your lap? 

what if he tarnished what y’all have? he wouldn’t say it’s a relationship yet, but your relationship’s at a pretty good place right now. 

it was bakugou that convinced him to do the dare because “just do it, idiot. it might do you something good for once.” 

he only said this because he wanted them to shut up ngl

so if his bestie- bakugou is telling him to a dare then.. it’s probably a sign to do it. 

shaking off the nervousness, kirishima walks off to find you- because the sooner the better, right?

you’re just doing your own thing, as you chill with mina on the couch. seeing the red head- mina sends a quick expression that practically tells him to go for it

kirishima gulps, nervously- and he enters the area, you’re suddenly aware of his presence. 

“oh, hi kiri!” you greet him casually, and he waves back at you, butterflies tickling his stomach. 

no need to feel nervous eijirou, just.. do it.

breathing in, he immediately kneels down on the floor right infront of you

I’m gonna rant here: in regards to Toms career path, these is my two cents because I like to discuss about young actors careers. Let’s compare him to Robert Pattinson for a bit. Toms now 25 and when Rob was 25, in 2011 his current films were breaking dawn part 1 and water for elephants (one a ya adaptation and the other was a commercial flop). The industry back then seemed to be limited for young actors. Back then, to really make it, one would audition anything ya. The choices seemed to be Twilight, Harry Potter or even Percy Jackson. One could argue at that time Rob’s best role was playing Edward in twilight because every role outside that franchise flopped. It wasn’t until 2012 ( because he was at the end of the series) he did more experimental roles such as Bel Ami and Cosmopolis, that he was well received critically and that helped him not be tied down to just a love interest in Twilight. My point is that I don’t know who was the “it boy”during that time (I was young and not into pop culture), it wasn’t Rob as he received alot of hate because he was in those films. I think some ppl need to relax with predicting whether Tom is flopping or whatever his career trajectory will be in years to come. It’s easier to compare him with Timothee because they’re both young and under 30. Timothee has had a lot of critically acclaimed roles (deservedly as he’s a great actor), and he’s the current it boy rn. He also had the upper hand because he was doing theatre and indie roles without expectation and normalcy because he wasn’t famous for his great roles. That fact doesn’t mean that he’ll be the great actor in the forever. I’m not explaining this point well, but Timothee is succeeding because he doesn’t seem to have any competition, but that doesn’t mean it’s not there. There’s a lot of young male actors who are very good stuck doing badly written teen shows, theatre schools, marvel. Even the actors in strangers or even the cast of sex education who are terrific are now breaking away from their roles and into better opportunities. What I’m saying is for me, I see Tom as an underdog, similar to Bryan Cranston or Aaron Paul, where he’ll get a role that will changed the opinion of him from a commercial actor to a critical actor. Hollywood is always changing, now people like marvel , in a few years I would be surprised if people get sick of it. Heck even Bruce Willis didn’t become Bruce Willis until Die hard and he was in his early 30s. At the end of the day, I can’t wait to see where Toms career goes and I hope he has a Rob Pattinson transformation where he can work with a director who really sees him as a muse, where they want to take his career to another level and become a great actor of his generation. The skys the limit!

Okay! I take your comparison of Tom and Rob Pattinson, which shows that Tom has a lot of time left in his career to do whatever he’d like.

I don’t think that Tom is an underdog, though. I think he’s doing great as is, top of his game, top of the field, in fact. He’s any one of his contemporary’s equal, including Timmy’s, although the two men have different careers and play to different strengths.

i honestly think that’s very similar to osamu himself! 

you can see that he’s relatively quiet and chill, but in the sense that he’s really intimidating because he has a very unbothered, expressionless face most of the time, but considering who his twin is, i don’t doubt that at his core he’s very childish when he wants to be. like i can see him as someone that says a lot of dad jokes and has really stupid humor he just snorts to himself all the time he just doesn’t show it outwardly

i love the idea of osamu knowing you just barely, having heard about you, but not in detail. and he sees you around with the same people, or else you’re just hanging by yourself. he admires you, in a way. 

until one day you cross paths, and you literally trip over air and into his arms, and it’s honestly something straight out of a stupid romantic drama how you take him down with you

you start profusely apologizing and it’s honestly a little amusing to him how you’re so flustered. he thinks it’s kind of cute

so, as one does, he extends a hand for you to shake, and introduces himself

he doesn’t cross paths with you as often as he grows to realize he wants to, but he starts noticing you a lot more. noticing how you’re the loudest in your group, how you consistently seem to always trip, how a frown on your face isn’t as common when he really focuses

he learns, through observing you, that there is so much more to you than what seems

i don’t see osamu as someone that deliberately goes out of his way to get his crush to notice him. i think he’d be more of a go with the flow type of person, where he just lets it happen

as in, he will only confess if the opportunity presents itself, but he won’t go out searching for that opportunity 

and what if that happens when you trip around him again and end up falling on top of him, the same way you’d first met, and as you’re about to lift yourself up, osamu goes, “go out with me?” before he could even think and he sees and feels you freeze and your eyes widening in shock

and he’s too far in to get nervous now, right?

he loves you as his s/o, how you’re both so similar but different in your own ways. and he especially loves the intimidation aspect, just,,, really amused him hehe

sakusa kiyoomi 

i think sakusa would know you a little more, and that’s because you can both often be found in the same place, especially in school

he sees you spending time with a close knit group of people, but otherwise, you’re in the library with him, or in a secluded part of the school, and you’re not talking, but just sitting in comfortable silence. he’ll offer you hand sanitizer, and you’ll let him borrow your notes if you need them

it’s just serene you know?

with how quiet you are around him, i think he’d assume, just like everybody else, just how intimidating you are. he wouldn’t find you intimidating himself, but he’ll see where people are coming from. at least, for a short while. but he doesn’t mind it. if anything, he respects how you’ve managed to have people learn of your boundaries and be mindful of crossing them

he’d most likely develop a liking towards you because of those small interactions you have with him every other day. he doesn’t think much of it, since sakusa doesn’t really interact with other people. but he can tell that, you know, he’s grown from being weirded out by your presence to not minding it to actually, sort of, kind of looking forward to it

i don’t think sakusa would even consider confessing. i think he’d see having a crush as just another every day thing, something that’ll pass over time and shouldn’t really require much of his attention. until, it starts to get bad, and he realizes just how deep he is. i’m talking he can’t look you in the eye because it makes him feel nauseous type of crush 

so he’d confess, to just get it out of the way, maybe even to push you away

when you sit by him in the library, he turns to you, takes in a deep breath and goes, “i think i like you.” and then he just turns to his work like he didn’t just send you into cardiac arrest 

when it’s awkwardly silent for a little too long, and sakusa confirms to himself that you don’t feel the same and this crush really was a waste of time, he prepares himself to leave. until you say, really loudly, too loud that the librarian glares and hushes the two of you, “you what?” 

he’s so,,, shocked at the sudden shift in your personality he’s like where’d the scary you go tf 

but, it really doesn’t throw him off, not like he imagined it would. he really loves that you’re not as you appear, but that there’s depth to you, and that he doesn’t know you as much as he thinks he does, and that there’s more to learn about you. 

he just. thinks you’re adorable :) in every way :) 

tsukishima kei 

honestly? tsukki probably has liked you for the longest time but he just expressed it as hate, cause that’s the way i’d see tsukki expressing his love towards someone. or maybe he liked you so much he hated you, that could be probable too, tbh

he was really into the fact that you were so intimidating and that you radiated it so much that people just left you alone. like he admired the fact that you mostly kept to yourself and to your small group of people 

but all this also annoyed him so much too. like how dare you be all what i’m attracted to in a person? 

and when he saw the second, deeper side of you, the realer side of you, watched you clumsily trip over your own words, watched you as you laughed at the stupidest of jokes, watched as you livened up your group the moment you approached them, he figured that this would be it. it would be his red flag, what finally throws him off and turns his feelings for you down

but if anything, it just made it a lot worse. he began to like you even more 

which just made him all the more hostile towards you, unabashedly so. he’s never been one to hold back on his teasing and tormenting, and you’re not about to become an exception 

and it continues on like this for the longest time, him pushing you away whenever he can, until you finally snap 

maybe it happens with the two of you ending up accidentally locked in a storage room somewhere in school. you text a friend to ask them to look for a teacher, but you end up having to wait much longer than anticipated, and he says something that makes you break, just tearfully and angrily turning to him and asking him what the hell his problem is, why he’s so rude to you

he hadn’t expected this reaction from you. if anything, he’d expected you to be the exact same way everyone else made you out to be

but seeing the way your eyes teared up, a confused and angry expression on your face, he,,, he deflated. he’s instantly filled with regret, and he inwardly cringes, because this backfired, and it backfired badly, on him

he doesn’t reply to you after you yell at him, and it just ends up being really, really quiet in the room as you wait for your friend to get a teacher to come unlock it 

until, really, really quietly, in a low voice, to your surprise, he apologizes 

when you don’t reply, he repeats it, and adds, “i just — liked you a little too much. and i didn’t know how to — deal with it.”

and all you take from that is, “liked?” 

he has to scoff. “like,” he corrects. 

you learn overtime that that really is tsukki’s way of expressing his love, and just as he accepts you for all you are, you accept him just as much, regardless

nanami kento x reader || cw: descriptions of blood/injuries, light angst

a/n: this is just self-indulgent writing for me but i'm v stressed about school rn and this is the result. just imagine that y/n is a bio/medical phd candidate lol.

Nanami can tell that you're stressed. Usually you savor the nights he's not on overtime, asking him about work and refusing to leave his side for most of the evening. He's used to you being attentive, so the fact that you've asked him the same question twice within the last ten minutes is already setting alarm bells ringing in his head. You're constantly fiddling with something, or flashing furtive glances towards the bedroom when you think he's not paying attention.

It only gets worse after dinner. You insist on washing up, something about how you want him to 'enjoy his night off.' Nanami compromises, silently grabbing a towel and drying the dishes. It's clear that your mind is elsewhere. Your hands scrub the porcelain on autopilot, and he can hear you muttering under your breath.

Every now and then you'll mutter a list of tasks under your breath. Nanami remembers you mentioning that things were hectic in lab. You're almost always still working when gets home from work, even when it's well past when you eat your dinner. It's clear that you've had a busy day-- the apartment is far more cluttered than it usually is. There are post-it and pieces of scrap paper stuck to every single surface, and a forgotten pile of folded laundry rests on the couch.

An intense burning sensation across your palm causes you cry out. "Shit!" You drop the knife you were washing in favor of cradling your already bleeding hand. Nanami is instantly by your side, firmly pressing the dishcloth against your cut. There is a worrying amount of red seeping into the fabric, so he silently ushers you to the bathroom.

It's a strange reversal of roles. He's used to being the one leaning leaning against the counter while you bandage his wounds. Instead, it's you who is perched on the marble surface, wincing as he dabs an antiseptic soaked cotton ball against your injury. "Sorry, I'm almost done," he says when you let out a loud hiss.

"It's fine," you reply, sheepishly looking away. "I should have been paying more attention."

Nanami chooses to only respond with a nonchalant hum, focusing on cleaning your palm. The two of you sit there in comfortable silence while he applies ointment to the cut, adding gauze once he's finished. It's only when he reaches for the bandages that he decides to ask. "What's stressing you out?"

Your eyes widen as you realize you've been caught. Nanami is rarely home early these days, especially since he's been mentoring Itadori on behalf of Gojo. (Not that you mind - in the few times you've met Itadori through video call with Nanami, the pink-haired student's sunny disposition has never failed to cheer you up.) When he'd texted you saying he'd be home by dinner, you'd jumped at the opportunity to spend some much needed time with him. You'd pulled out the stops, cooking something a little fancier, and intent on spending the earlier part of the evening cuddling with him. Secretly, you had planned to sneak out of bed after he'd fallen asleep (he always goes to bed early on days like these) and finish preparing for the gauntlet of meetings and presentations you had tomorrow. It was your fault for putting off the tasks, and you didn't want to let your own bad habits get in the way of some quality time with your boyfriend.

"It's nothing, I just have a lot on my plate tomorrow." You do your best to laugh it off, but quickly trail off once when you catch Nanami's deadpan expression. He's always been too good at seeing through your white lies. "I put off some work..." A raised eyebrow from him prompts you to continue, "And I was planning on doing it after you went to bed..." You can't help it when your face scrunches into a pout. After all, now your carefully-laid deception has been revealed.

When Nanami bursts into amused chuckles, you're momentarily surprised, but quickly go back to sulking. "Stop laughing at me Ken!" you whine, "I'm a--"

"Self-aware procrastinator," he finishes your sentence with an amused grin. "I know love, I know. I've seen you write far too many papers within 24-hours of a deadline to be surprised." He presses an affectionate kiss against your wrist.

You scowl at your boyfriend, snatching your bandaged hand away from his grasp. "I'm glad that my suffering is entertaining for at least one person." You stomp back to the bedroom in faux-anger, smiling when you hear Nanami's footsteps not far behind you.

When he steps into the bedroom Nanami drapes his frame over your shoulders, his warm torso nestled against your back. "It is one of your more...endearing traits," he murmurs into your ear before pressing a kiss into the crook of your neck. You can feel your cheeks and ears tingle at his words of affection.

"Sometimes you can be such a sweet talker," you mumble to yourself while you change into your pajamas. This week it's been an old Jujutsu tech hoodie and a pair of well-worn athletic shorts.

"Only for you," Nanami replies while he undoes the buttons of his outfit, chucking his tan pants and blue button up into the laundry basket in the corner. He dons a pair of sweatpants before returning your side to recapture you in another affectionate hug. It's a well kept secret of the Kento-Y/N household that Nanami Kento likes to lounge around shirtless in the privacy of his apartment. (You've been sworn to secrecy, but only because your boyfriend claims that Gojo and the students would have a field day teasing him if this information were to be made public amongst the jujutsu sorcerer community.)

Turning around, you wrap your arms around his waist, burying your nose against his torso and taking in his comforting scent. It's been so long since the two of you have had a moment to yourselves, and for once your hectic thoughts are silenced in favor of sharing a moment of calm bliss with Nanami. He hums in appreciation, thumbs rubbing soothing circles against your hips.

"Do you want to watch anything tonight?" you ask after a few seconds of silence.

"No," he replies. "I was actually planning on reading the briefing Ichiji just sent me. Gojo apparently has another scheme up his sleeve." You giggle when your boyfriend lets out a pained sigh. On more than one occasion, your boyfriend has ranted to you about Gojo's unorthodox approach to exorcism. "I swear that idiot shaves a year off my lifespan every time I go on a mission with him," Nanami complains. "He's taking away the years I could spend in Malaysia."

You hum thoughtfully before responding, "Then do you mind--"

Once again, Nanami already knows what you're going to say. "Just remember to bring your laptop charger, I know you have a thousand tabs open on your computer right now," he says while exiting to the living room. After a few moments you join him, overburdened laptop and charger in hand. You both take your usual spots in the living room, him resting comfortably in the center of the loveseat and you sitting on a floor cushion, nestled between his legs. Soon you've fallen into a groove, fingers steadily typing on the keyboard. The warmth of Nanami's presence next to you brings a sense of calm, giving you the grounding focus you need to finish off the last of your tasks.

As he thumbs through the printouts Ichiji gave him, Nanami can't help but let his eyes drift towards you every now and then. You look so adorable when you work. From the way your brow furrows whenever you reread a line, to the way you unconsciously chew on your lip when you scrutinize your draft for any errors. Every now and then he'll gently run his fingers through your hair, relishing the content sighs you let out in response.

It only takes about another hour before you're (finally) closing all your tabs (he still doesn't know why your laptop hasn't crashed yet). As you scroll through social media, your head begins to droop. Soon enough you've fallen asleep, breaths coming in soft and even puffs as you rest against his thigh. Smiling to himself, he puts down his papers and gently lifts your body from the floor. He's careful not to wake you as he slowly makes his way back to the bedroom.

Setting you on the bed, he tucks you under the blankets before lying beside you. The moonlight coming through your window softly illuminates your relaxed features, and he softly traces the outline of your face with his thumb. As he continues to caress your cheek, his eyes are drawn to the dark circles under your eyes. He rarely falls asleep after you these days - between his physically demanding occupation and the ever growing number of things you are responsible for at work- he's often the first to fall asleep from sheer exhaustion while you work well into the night. Not to mention that he's had to spend an increasing number of nights away from you, either on challenging missions or accompanying Gojo's students. And while he knows most of your stress comes from being a student, he can't help but feel guilty about all the additional distress his status as a jujutsu sorcerer has caused you.

When you started dating him, you insisted that Shoko teach you how to suture. He hates how much your stitches have improved since then. The neatness of your stitches is a constant reminder of how much you've endured because of him. When he hears you trying to muffle your sobs into a pillow, he swears he can feel his heart crack in his chest, hurting more than any kind of physical wound from battle. Those nights end with him holding you tightly to his bandaged chest, murmuring reassurances and affection into the crown of your head until you've calmed down enough to fall into a fitful sleep. Even when you're unconscious he'll still continue, words morphing into apologies for the sadness he's inflicted upon your shoulders.

Feeling his eyelids being to droop, Nanami presses one last kiss against your forehead before laying down. He wraps his arms around your waist, surrounding you with warmth, hoping that his presence will be enough to keep your nightmares away, at least for tonight. I love you, y/n is the last thought he has before he drifts away, ready to dream of a tropical sunset and a peaceful future with you by his side.
