Slowly, like the way most things occur to Steve, he realizes that the way he and a lot of guys, probably most guys, talk about women is kinda gross. Kinda impersonal and objectable...no wait....objectifying. He loves that he can talk to Robin about chicks but as soon as he starts to say what he loves about them he realizes, though Robin likes girls, she is also a girl, and probably doesn't want to hear locker room talk. Which is when he starts to wonder if what he considers normal guy banter is actually gross douchebag banter.

"They're so warm," he says, which seems like a nice thing to say, neutral.

"I guess?" She frowns. "Guys are warm too though."

"Huh?"

"Yeah, I mean, women don't have a monopoly on body heat."

"Right," he agrees. Except what he was really thinking was the heat on the inside. Again, gross. That thought then leads to another thought. A weird, why-am-I-thinking-about-this thought. That guys are probably warm on the inside too. Definitely. Definitely warm on the inside. Shit. That's weird.

He doesn't have anyone to talk this over with anymore. Dustin is too young. Jonathan is currently getting warm with Nancy, so that doesn't seem appropriate. Wait! He can talk to Eddie!

"Is it fucked up to talk about sex stuff with Robin?" He asks Eddie the next time they're alone.

"What?" He responds.

"Like, she feels like a bro, but she's not actually a bro, cause she's a girl. Normally I'd talk about hookups with a bro but she probably doesn't want to hear about that kinda stuff."

"I guess," Eddie agrees.

"I almost said some pretty gross shit to her the other day but I stopped myself, thank god."

"How gross?"

"Just that I like how warm girls are, but, you know, on the inside. Which would be totally fine to say to another dude but she probably doesnt want to hear that from me. And then I started freaking out because it's probably just gross in general to talk about girls like that? Do you and the band talk about shit like that or was it just my asshole friends from school and I'm only just now realizing how fucked up it is?"

"Me? No, I've never talked about girls like that."

"Ah fuck, I knew it."

"But I'm pretty sure they're all virgins, so..."

"Oh. Do you ever talk about girls with anyone?"

"......no."

"I guess that means I'm an asshole."

"You're not an asshole, Steve. Talking about girls seems like a normal thing to talk about with your friends. Maybe not Robin, she might beat your ass."

"We could talk about that kinda stuff though, right?"

"Uh...."

"Never mind. It's stupid."

"No, it's just- I mean. You could tell me whatever. I'm cool."

"Oh, okay."

They stare at their feet.

"Is this weird? It feels weird."

"I'm gay, Steve."

Steve blinks. "Oh! Okay, that's cool." His eyes light up. "Wait! You'd know, are guys as warm inside as I thought?"

Eddie has a small stroke. He has to let his face say the words his mouth can't.

"Shit, it's still weird huh? Damn."

"No. Uh. It's just...why were you thinking about that?"

"Robin said girls don't have a monopoly on being warm and I just thought yeah she's right, so it makes sense that guys are just as warm as girls. It probably feels the same I mean. You don't have to tell me, you know, if it's weird to ask."

"Not weird to ask. It's just...I have no idea."

"Oohhh," Steve says. "You're a virgin too?"

"No."

Steve frowns in confusion.

Eddie wants to bury himself under a slab of concrete but makes himself explain. "You see, when guys fuck, one of thems gotta be the...warm one...as it were."

The line between his eyes doesn't lessen.

"I'm a bottom."

Still, somehow, he doesn't get it.

"Oh my god Steve, I'm the girl!"

His mouth makes a little 'O'.

"Yeah. That's not exactly how I like to describe it but you looked like you weren't visualizing. So."

Steve is having some truly deep thoughts. He's never thought about being the girl before. Like, obviously girls like being the girl. He hopes so anyway. But he's wondering what's the draw of being the girl if you're a guy.

"And you like it?" He blurts out.

Eddie, who's been a deep shade of pink already, turns violently red.

"Yup."

"Huh. Guess it makes sense. Never thought about it before though."

"Well, yeah, why would you?"

"Hey, I'm pretty open minded!"

"Sure. But straight guys don't tend to think about taking it up the ass. You know, as a rule." (A/N Eddie doesn't know wtf he's talking about)

Steve takes this in and realizes a few things, faster than he's ever realized anything before. He's thinking about it. And he's curious. And he wants to ask Eddie what it feels like and why he likes it. And he wants to ask if it hurts and if the pain is part of why he likes it. Because he thinks he might like that.

Fuck.

Okay. He can be normal about this. Eddie said Steve could talk to him about sex. It's normal and fine.

"We should fuck."

Speaking of the sentimonster felix created and then murdered in representation, I feel like the folks that are either downplaying the fact that this moment made him a major hypocrite, or are trying to excuse and justify him doing this are forgetting the key important fact that he didn't NEED to create Once Upon a Time in the first place.

Not only do projectors exist, Felix is rich enough that he could have bought a warehouse full of them! Hell, he could have just grabbed one from the school(aka the building, he and kagami led Marinette into) itself as we've known since Heroes Day that very school is equipped with them!

Yeah that argument doesnt work for them either. Ive tried saying that, and it only generates a whole new round of incoherent explanations to excuse felix.

"Oh he HADDD to create the senti projector, Marinette couldn't know it was him or she wouldn't listen!"

So we're throwing Marinettes character under the bus for this loser now too, too bad its an excuse not based in reality though! Marinette prioritizes peaceful resolutions before violence, and she has attempted to reach out even to Hawk Moth and Lila before.

Ive also tried the "he could have used an actual projector" argument, that one usually gets ignored or brushed over with "no i think ur wrong and stupid" yet they can't tell me why im wrong lmao!!

All of this is totally irrelevant though because a projector was not needed to tell Marinette anything. If anything all it seemed to do was get his message lost in translation, but to that they wanna argue "IT WAS FOR DRAMATIC EFFECT!!!" Yeah that was absolutely the only, the SINGLE method that could have been used to achieve drama... um ok sure thing yeah.

And god FORBID u bring up the poster for the in-universe ladybug movie and the fact that its given an appearance right after Felix's play, god forbid if u try to imply that that means there's holes in Felix's story even though in S3 the show goes out of its way to tell/show us that even movies based on real life are full of filler bullshit that doesn't reflect reality.

? im not sure where this is coming from but my point isnt and has never been "aiura and saiki are platonic soulmates", its "regardless of their status as soulmates, it cant force them to fall in love and so that relationship will just develop as it may, platonic OR romantic." the way you say this honestly just makes it seem like you dont understand what "soulmate" means and WHY people call them "platonic soulmates", its not that people think "platonic soulmates" is a specific label that defines them and that thats what the universe wanted them to be, its that "soulmates" cannot be defined as strictly platonic OR romantic without being an extremely creepy forced romance or friendship and it doesnt make sense that way anyway, so people are allowed to think their label as soulmates ends up being platonic FOR THEM.

and also that its really creepy that people think she has some sort of ownership over him or something... that just because she tells him theyre romantic soulmates means his feelings dont matter, youre not allowed to ship him with anyone else and hes not allowed to love anyone else, even if theyre not dating because she already staked her claim on him or something 😭

and nowhere in canon does it say she predicted that they end up together btw, its already very clear to me that youre very biased but this is just something you made up. if you headcanon that, thats perfectly okay!! but as far as we know, it didnt happen. nowhere does it say or even slightly imply that her soulmate power has anything to do with her predictions of the future, most of her powers that we see actually dont lol she predicts some futures but her other most prevalent powers we're shown are her ability to see auras and "compatibility" (which you can headcanon or theorize as having to do with future predictions, but again in canon this is never even so much as alluded to)

so yeah its not a future prediction and also even if it was, they literally prove in the show that the future can be changed, especially if you KNOW the future. but regardless, i doubt its a prediction in the first place and all evidence points to it not being so, especially since aiura went out of her way to come to pk to find her soulmate which, if she had already predicted theyd be together eventually, would change their future, their meeting, and their love story drastically and, although i have criticisms for how she wholeheartedly trusted her power and didnt actually make any romantic connection with saiki before trying to date him, aiura is not nearly stupid enough to mess it up that badly

anyway, like ive said a million freaking times, i do think "soulmate" the way she says it has a romantic connotation, but my point is that that doesnt actually mean much in terms of anything romantic happening between them. it didnt happen in canon and theres nothing to imply that it ever will. shipping and headcanoning is awesome and fun and i love love loveeee aiura and saikis friendship and how fun it is to build off of, but a romantic relationship between them is not canon, not now and never in the future. in myyyyy opinion, they found each other and theyre good for each other and thats what matters to me about their relationship and thats what makes them "soulmates".

also guys me saying your ship isnt canon shouldnt be considered an insult to your ship, i dont know why people take it that way 😭 im a fucking diehard kubosai shipper which is the least canon you can possibly get and you dont see me desperately grasping at straws to force it to be canon, join the club ??? its not that hard ??? also some of my other favorite ships are teruaisai and poly psychikers so its not even like im saying mikosai is impossible 😭 also last note, i find it very very hard to believe that people genuinely think asou would and did make a saiki ship canon LMAOOOO he gets close with ships sometimes like with satou and suzumiya, he somewhat implied they both like each other but not that they would ever get together... i wholeheartedly believe terusai is implied to be reciprocated and i have a lot of evidence for it, but its not CANON for a reason, asou would not do that and its more interesting this way anyway. we can agree to disagree on implications, but hating on me because you think your ship is CANON is next level delusional

Divine Intervention (Mouthwashing AU)

ive decided to call this au Divine Intervention cz i think it sounds cool and is sorta fitting? it wont be mentioned anywhere in the fic cz it doesnt happen but their rescue takes place the day before everyone dies in game. so she saved them at the last second basically

After a brief introduction to the rest of the crew, Arabella is led to the med-bay to meet the previous captain. Anya and Jimmy accompany her while Daisuke and Swansea pack some things. The old captain looks their way and seems to freak out a little when he sees the new person.

"It's okay, Curly... She's here to help." Anya walks up to the man.

He looks near death, hardly alive enough to be called a man. If it didn't feel wrong from a medically moral standpoint, Arabella would've considered him a walking corpse in her head. But he was alive enough to move, make noise, and hurt, so he was alive enough to be saved. Jimmy stays by the doorway while she walks towards the old captain and the nurse.

"Hello, Captain Curly-"

"He is no longer captain." Jimmy interrupts angrily, like the one thing he has is being taken from him.

"Well, Jimmy, I'm afraid neither are you-" she turns to face him- "since your crew agreed to board my ship and be rescued, whoever was captain, legally or acting, is absolved of their duties. From now until we land, you are all patients under the care of No Boundaries Search and Rescue team member Arabella Inara. Which is me, if you can't tell."

"He is... not a very good man." Anya explains quietly.

She waits for Jimmy to respond if he decides to. He looks like he's trying to be intimidating. When he figures all eyes have been on him for long enough, he mutters a 'whatever' and walks away.

"I didn't think he would just leave? He's distrusting but doesn't seem to care enough to ensure I can be trusted." Arabella states.

The half dead captain struggles and groans on the table, seemingly freaking out again. The girls turn their attention back to him and Arabella pulls a small med-kit out of her suit pocket. She places it on a nearby table before pulling out a vial and a syringe. The sight makes Anya and the dying captain panic slightly.

"W-what are you doing?" Anya stands in front of him defensively.

Arabella gives a confused look before realizing she didn't explain her intent.

"Oh, don't worry more than you need to. It's morphine to put Captain Curly to sleep while we move him to my ship and get everything situated. I figured it would be easier on both us and him. Since you would technically be his leading caregiver as the Pony Express nurse, you can decide if I should give him it or not."

Anya looks nervously at the syringe and Arabella. She thinks for a moment before sighing and relaxing, moving out of the way.

After a moment of no indication of a response, the captain simply turns his head to the side and up a little, as if he was offering his neck. Actually, he was offering his neck. A silent agreement to Arabella's words. She places the syringe up to his neck and pushes it in as gently as possible. He fidgets slightly from the pain but remains mostly calm. When it's in far enough, she pushes down so the morphine goes in and removes it as carefully as she put it in. It was fast acting and the old captain was unresponsive quick enough for Arabella to store the syringe in vial back in the med-kit before the rest of the crew approached.

"Go ahead..." She hangs her head low as if she's admitting defeat.

"Okay Captain Curly, if you can accept this shot gracefully, then when we get you on my ship and you wake up, I will have a proper conversation about my plans to get you all home. Well, about as proper of a conversation as we can." Arabella stands over him with the syringe, waiting.

"Are you all ready to go then?" Arabella asks.

"More than ready! I'm so homesick!" Daisuke responds in a cheery tone.

"Great, if one of you could carry Captain Curly to the loading area then almost everything is good to go. I'll help Anya get her stuff and take whatever is still of use from here. Can never have too much medical supplies." Arabella gives the order to no one in particular but Jimmy still scoffs and does it as if he was the one who was asked.

The crew, minus Anya, headed off to the loading area while Arabella and her worked on gathering whatever supplies weren't ruined. When they seemed to be far enough out of earshot, Arabella abruptly stopped.

"Where is your cockpit?"

Mostly Nickel's Disorders

Feb 19 2025 edit: this is somewhat outdated! nickel has hpd, npd, and cptsd. you can still read the aspd section if you like, but he does not have aspd, he just has some antisocial traits.

twitches. twitches. twitches. ok i skipped gleefully in the kitchen getting this ask because i am SO hyperfixated on nickel. here’s a nickel analysis if you wanna read that first but it doesnt go into his pds it just generally analyzes him:

for clover i dont have any disorders in mind BUT i have noticed she has a tendency to fawn or flee (ive always been pulled in by her fawning over nickel considering how much he’s hurt her). today i was watching some iii and i noted that shes a really strange but interesting character—ive paid attention to her before and ive done a bit of analysis (mostly talking about her odd reactions to nickel) but nothing recent. im planning to do some clover analysis after my nickel and balloon rewatch (im rewatching all of ii and taking notes on nickel and balloon respectively as i go along, ive done this with several characters before and i find it super fun). i would maybeee look her over for dependent personality disorder and borderline personality disorder, but Not to diagnose her with the full disorders themselves, more to analyze the dependent and borderline traits she seems to experience (tendencies). also would probably look into adhd or autism or both.

nickel stuff under the cut. it's long. tl;dr you can argue that nickel has hpd, aspd, and npd, but the most important to consider is hpd.

Histrionic Personality Disorder

nickel has hpd, credit to the lovely @t4twerewolves for bringing this up to me in the first place and introducing some of the symptoms he displays! i'll put down his hpd symptoms here and talk about each one.

1. is uncomfortable in situations where they are not the center of attention: yes, nickel is very attention-seeking! you gotta look at him like a school bully. he wants attention, he wants to be seen, he wants people to know who he is. the main point of hpd is that the hpder NEEDS attention. not just wants, but NEEDS. so even if they WANT positive attention, if they believe they can only get negative attention, they will stick with that (i talk about this more in my nickel analysis in the link above). nickel is seen constantly going for this negative attention, TRYING to provoke people, wanting them to get annoyed and Remember he exists and Give him the attention he’s starved for. which brings me to symptom 2.

2. interaction with others is often characterized by inappropriate sexually seductive or provocative behavior: yes. first of all, provocative in the context of the hpd dsm5 criteria means to provoke someone (as in: annoy people, start little arguments and fights, make jabs, etc.), not to be sexually provocative. in this case, nickel is EXTREMELY provocative. im sure you can think of times in the show where nickel purposely annoys people, but an example i particularly enjoy is in snapshot showdown, where nickel asks balloon why balloon doesnt believe in him. when balloon freaks out and tells nickel hes never believed in HIM (balloon) in the first place, nickel laughs and says he just wanted to see his reaction if he said that. the entire point of making that comment was to provoke balloon and get a big reaction out of him. again, look at nickel like a typical bully: he wants attention and reactions. i also recommend watching waffling about for more explicit examples of this behavior.

3. displays rapidly shifting and shallow expression of emotions: yes, nickel is shallow but plays up his reactions to ridiculous extents. a great example of his emotional display also rapidly shifting is in out of body experience, when he yells at clover and blames him for them all having died. he goes from angrily shouting at her with elaborate and theatrical wording about how “twisted fortune granted her wish” to immediately going deadpan and asking others their thoughts on the matter. actually, i’ll provide the clip to make it more obvious just how quick the change is:

he goes from dramatically calling her a privileged murderer to neutrally asking for opinions in an instant. i will say that nickel definitely has some intense feelings about clover (she really pushes him to think about his body and his feelings of inherent worthlessness as a nickel object, for one) but he still displays shallow and puffed up reactions around her and in other situations.

4. consistently uses physical appearance to draw attention to self: i would argue yes for this too, in fact, but it's often difficult to really go into this symptom since the characters are all objects (though its easier to prove with some characters, such as silver spoon). one thing ive noticed is that most ii hpders, such as lightbulb, paper, nickel, silver spoon, tend to wear things or care about their appearance more than other objects. lightbulb and her silly costumes, paper and his bowtie and santa hat, silver spoon and his skincare routine (and more explicit worries with his appearance)... and at the end of mazed and confused, nickel is wearing a somewhat extravagant outfit (for objects anyway) that he apparently bought with the money he got from scalping tickets. it’s eye-catching and unusual for any character to wear. i could go into his complicated feelings about his body as a nickel object (since it has to do with appearance) but it is technically irrelevant to the actual hpd symptom here and id like to research his self-image as a nickel more before talking about it in depth. either way, nickel cares about his appearance.

5. has a style of speech that is excessively impressionistic and lacking in detail: okay so this symptom means vague speech, speech that’s more about emotions and grandness rather than details or logic. hpders often base their opinions off of others (expanded upon in 7.) and an example of that for nickel is with his opinion of balloon. nickel vaguely expresses that balloon is awful, untrustworthy, just terrible in any way. he sticks to this extreme yet unfounded opinion and shuns balloon for ages even though he practically never dealt with balloon at all in s1 (since balloon's behavior there is the main grief the contestants have with him). nickel doesn’t have details to refer to; he’s just going along with what the majority says here. in s3, his opinion changes as he actually spends time with balloon. his speech is also generally confusing to understand. as ive been taking notes on nickel, ive had to stop for several minutes to deconstruct his lines and try to decipher what he’s saying. his manner of speech certainly isn’t precise or to the point. and another example of this symptom is him calling the new thinkers his “enemies at BEST” in best served cold, which is a very extreme (impressionistic) thing to say and clearly not what he actually thinks of them (which is just general dislike at first).

6. shows self-dramatization, theatricality, and exaggerated expression of emotion: yes, nickel is QUITE theatrical! i still need to rewatch s2 but ive found many examples in s3. one of my favourites is in tragedy at 60 feet, when tea kettle tries to lure him and balloon into allying with her with hors d’oeuvres, and nickel starts loudly gagging and coughing then yells that he's REPULSED!!! then balloon tells him to calm down. its so unnecessarily dramatic and intense. i love it. there’s another scene in the episode where nickel slips on a banana peel and starts screaming for the doctor to come see him until balloon tells him he's fine, where he calms down immediately. that one's a combination of multiple symptoms (as most are) in fact, with 1. (seeking attention), 3. (rapidly shifting and shallow expression of emotions), and 6. (dramatic and theatrical behavior).

7. is suggestible (easily influenced by others or circumstances): i talk about this a bit in symptom 5, but nickel goes along with everyone when shunning balloon (and enforces it), despite not really having been affected by him in s1. he’s more contrarian than he is agreeable, but he still feels awkward actually standing out on his own (such as in try not to laugh challenge, where he gets uncomfortable and agitated once everyone disapproves of him for insulting yinyang so harshly) and tends to go for little jabs or arguments that he’s sure he can win (such as yelling at clover, who never fights back) rather than actually standing up for something he believes in. again, remember that he’s like a school bully! he goes for the easy targets and avoids real conflict.

8. considers relationships to be more intimate than they actually are: so this is box. there’s some hints of this with balloon and suitcase but it’s more complicated when i could just talk about box. who is the perfect candidate to show this symptom of nickel’s. nickel is convinced box is a real living person. he talks to her about his decisions in the game, he asks for her opinion on things, he talks FOR her and assumes what she’s saying (nothing, in reality), and he even calls her his number one ally. all along, box is. a dead body. there is nothing there. even if box WAS alive but inanimate, this would still be an example of this symptom, because box tries to vote out nickel in s3 and lifering even mentions that box probably doesn’t want to be talked for. nickel thinks there is a close relationship of sorts here, when there is not.

here are some hpd subtypes (Theodore Millon, Personality Disorders in Modern Life, 2004):

hpd subtypes aren't super relevant anymore by the way, i just like categories. anyway, nickel has disingenuous hpd. which implies antisocial traits! interesting! so let’s take a look at aspd.

Antisocial Personality Disorder

1. failure to conform to social norms with respect to lawful behaviors, as indicated by repeatedly performing acts that are grounds for arrest: technically yes. he gets suitcase to steal from meeple in theft and battery, but it IS part of the challenge in the show, so… that one's only a so-so for me. nickel also scalps people online, which isn’t illegal, but it is pretty lame. he tends to repeat these sorts of almost-illegal actions without going too far into breaking the rules (like using the pic-nix tables even though he’s banned), so we can infer that he doesn’t particularly respect authority but he IS still afraid of consequences and doesn’t have much desire to do more illegal things. he also tries to kill clover which is pretty illegal but it’s played comedically so im not sure how to interpret that? i still consider it an indication of this symptom, of course. overall, id say 1. ends up being a yes, mostly because i keep thinking of examples that fit just enough. he's clearly got the mindset.

2. deceitfulness, as indicated by repeated lying, use of aliases, or conning others for personal profit and pleasure: yes, nickel lies several times in ii, sometimes very blatantly (eg in best served cold, mephone asks nickel if the pie is two half-mile high pies stacked on top of each other, and nickel deadpans “No.”). he lies in theft and battery about suitcase’s willingness to steal for them. he cons others online through scalping for personal profit, buying an expensive outfit with the money he gets from it. he tricks suitcase into thinking he’s giving balloon a chance in kick the bucket, when he’s truly just setting them both up to fail. he’s fine with deceiving others.

3. impulsivity or failure to plan ahead: yes, nickel is pretty impulsive with his reactions, making them more exaggerated than they need to be (eg trying to kill clover in snapshot showdown) and not always planning ahead, just in his general behavior… an amusing example is the challenge in snapshot showdown beginning and nickel immediately running at top speed face first into the camera cabinet.

4. irritability and aggressiveness, as indicated by repeated physical fights or assaults: yes and no. nickel is very irritable and verbally aggressive, but he doesn’t often physically hurt people (since the symptom says “repeated” im keeping this in mind), since he does try to kill and injure clover but as far as i remember that's his only direct physical assault on someone. he also automatically dislikes most people (eg in best served cold where he calls the new thinkers his “enemies at best”) and is easily annoyed by others.

5. reckless disregard for safety of self or others: yes. using theft and battery again as an example, he puts suitcase in danger when forcing her to steal from meeple. he also tries to kill clover (and ends up injuring himself when he tests the trap with his foot, which one could say is reckless). im probably forgetting other examples.

6. consistent irresponsibility, as indicated by repeated failure to sustain consistent work behavior or honor financial obligations: not as far as i can see it. he does disregard safety, but he doesn't fall behind on obligations or anything. does fine in challenges.

7. lack of remorse, as indicated by being indifferent to or rationalizing having hurt, mistreated, or stolen from another: id argue no. nickel feels guilty for making clover cry in title tbd (though it’s subtle: just a quick look after she runs away crying and a worried expression during the elimination when clover is being voted out) but he never actually apologizes to her. however, we know that apologizing is very hard for nickel, as we see in the scene in tragedy at 60 feet where he apologizes to tea kettle and balloon for his behavior in the episode (this doesn’t excuse him from not apologizing to clover for what he’s done to her, it just explains how nickel may feel remorse without ever doing anything about it). nickel shows remorse in the scene i just mentioned with tea kettle and balloon. he also shows remorse later on, apologizing to balloon in the great bluish bake off (even if i don’t care for the therapyspeak writing of this scene, nickel’s feelings here are still genuine). i can’t say if he feels remorse for what he did to suitcase or not, but with the evidence of other scenes here, i would say he probably secretly does.

so yes, nickel does technically qualify for aspd (at least 3 symptoms). but let’s just check a bit more. for funsies. the basis of aspd is mainly (as far as i know it) a need for autonomy and a lack of respect towards authority. he pretty much never respects authority (stealing from meeple, calling mephone insulting names, being very rude to tea kettle who we can infer is older than him, etc.). for need for autonomy, he does tend to avoid most people and is easily irritated by others, but he isn’t averse to having friends or depending on others like balloon or baseball. it’s pretty hard to gain his trust though, and he tends to stay loyal to the one person he chooses to respect. which can actually be a behavior some aspders have (respecting one or two people who feel Special and Deserving of it). in the end? i think it’s more fun to interpret nickel with aspd than not. if anyone wants to support or dispute this claim, feel free to talk about it in the comments or my askbox :) aspd is a personality disorder i know less about!

Narcissistic Personality Disorder

now, ive mentioned nickel having narcissistic tendencies before, but ive only ever looked him over for npd briefly and concluded he doesn’t have it. but its fun to recheck things. and since im already here, i’ll do an npd assessment of nickel too.

1. has a grandiose sense of self-importance (eg exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements): somewhat. nickel generally sees himself as inferior (which is normal for many npders), which i talk about more in my initial analysis at the top of this post in the context of his canon feelings of worthlessness. he tries to compensate for this in s2 in particular, turning himself into the leader of the armless alliance and forcing them to recognize him as superior. as far as i remember, he does not significantly exaggerate his achievements or talents.

2. is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love: yes. he becomes quite the tyrant in s2 to the armless alliance, relishing the little power he has and becoming quite agitated whenever he loses it (eg straight up threatening suitcase during the elimination in kick the bucket because he’s trying so hard to hold onto his power). he also enjoys being the director of the new thinkers in title tbd, and is charmed by them actually listening to him (until he remembers clover’s luck that was given to him). there’s also the “Oh, the things I’ll do for money…” line in stranded in paradise and the fact that he decks himself out in expensive clothes in mazed and confused, implying fantasies about riches as well.

3. believes that they are “special” and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions): somewhat. i would argue that though nickel only respects very certain people (and still only to a limited extent), it’s more in an aspd way than an npd way. baseball and balloon aren’t high-status in any way, but they’ve EARNED his respect (although limited), which is another thing entirely than the npd symptom of wanting to associate with “worthy” people.

4. requires excessive admiration: no. nickel dislikes most people and accepts being disliked; he just needs attention, negative or positive. he does ENJOY admiration (title tbd is a great example of this, as he talks about wanting to be genuinely valued by others) but he does not require it in the same way someone like, say, silver spoon does. i believe he’s like most people are about admiration.

5. has a sense of entitlement (unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with their expectations): yes. in s2, he’s used to being listened to by the armless alliance, and becomes angry when he’s defied (eg being annoyed by suitcase befriending balloon in kick the bucket and tricking her into having balloon fail the challenge). in s3, though he’s not as entitled as he was before, he still insists on doing things his way (such as when he goes off to take photos of clover in snapshot showdown) or is ready to argue about it (such as when he openly asks to hear objections to him becoming the director in title tbd and is surprised when everyone agrees to it).

6. is interpersonally exploitative (takes advantage of others to achieve their own ends): yes. you can most clearly see this with nickel and suitcase in s2. a concrete example could be forcing suitcase to steal in theft and battery (I KNOW, im using this example AGAIN, it’s just a really messed up thing to do okay. it's a good example for many symptoms).

7. lacks empathy, is unable to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others (yes i changed the writing of this one slightly): yes. nickel clearly does not empathize with suitcase, balloon, clover, or others. he forces suitcase to comply with his demands while looking down on her for her kindness to balloon and her meekness. he shuns and puts down balloon without considering his attempts to redeem himself for a long time. he tries to hurt clover and yells at her multiple times, only realizing some of her pain when she runs away crying after he Literally screams that she’s a murderer. nickel still feels guilt and remorse, but he struggles to understand others’ feelings nevertheless.

8. is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of them: yes. nickel envies clover in a weird way (i still need to analyze it more), calling her privileged and lucky despite not actually wanting the luck for himself in the end. he’s unsatisfied with himself as a nickel object, being quite literally a low-worth object and becoming visibly upset at seeing dime in fff nickel for your thoughts. he’s afraid of being below others and envies those who might feel better than him on a level he can’t work around, like clover being born endlessly lucky and dime having more worth than him as an object.

9. shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes: yes. nickel looks down on people and generally dislikes them. he insults and makes jabs at people and struggles to see them as separate entities with feelings (lack of empathy), placing himself in a superior mental ranking. it’s kind of odd with nickel because his sense of worthlessness REEKS throughout the series (like you can easily spot it), but really, that IS how npd often works, isn’t it? he feels inferior and therefore decides that At Least everyone is actually way dumber and worse than him. making him superior in the end.

that’s 7 out of 9 (im counting “somewhat” as 0.5 each), which is enough to qualify for npd (minimum 5). congratulations nickel!

well this took me a few very very fun hours. quite the mental workout though. thank you very much for asking! my conclusion is that nickel has hpd (8/8), aspd (4.5/7), and npd (7/9), hpd being the most important. and though i don’t exactly think clover has any personality disorders, i recommend looking into causes and behaviors associated with dpd and bpd, since some of her actions line up with some of those traits.

im a 15yr old transmasc for context, gf is 14 cis F

this is a bit of background, but ill make it quick. i've been dating this girl since 6th grade (im now 15 and in 9th grade). she used to be really open, considerate, and hot. she had a really cool style and i liked her a lot, cringe and all.

over the time from 6th-9th grade, she questioned her gender, which is understandable. i supported her whatever she identified as that week and solidified my support by making her things with the pronouns and gender she used. however, i was going through the gender thing too, but leaned to be more masc. i started using masc pronouns, which i expressed to her, and she neglected to use. i eventually went back to they/them, which she seemed relieved for. that struck me as odd.

anyways, over the summer, i had to be hospitalized for some mental health issues (i will explain further if needed, long story short, i was thugging it out) and couldnt make it to the last two weeks of school. at the time i didnt have a phone either, so i couldnt call her. to her knowledge my friend ratted me out for a self threat and i got yoinked from school.

so, i hang out with her over the summer, and shes totally different. skinny as hell, blonde highlights, and a different style. she acted the same, for the most part, maybe a bit more confident, but i didnt mind, it just freaked me out that she'd dropped so much weight (she was slighty above average)

fast forward, we're halfway through the school year now, and shes kind of being a dick to Friend (15F, who was friends with her first but whatever) Friend doesnt know why and i dont either, but its another thing that stikes me as odd in a bad way. recently ive been considering breaking up with her, seeing as she is being a dick, and also has a few other problems (cutting people off when speaking, speaking too loudly, not aware of space she takes up, not speaking openly about her feelings to anyone, etc)

ive been talking to Friend about this a LOT, and my gf seems to be getting worse in behavior by the day. i feel bad because it feels like im talking about her behind her back, but i also cant bring up any concerns directly to her as she diflects my concerns.

TL;DR, my gf is being odd and not nice or communicative, and i talk to my friend about it a lot and the consideration of breaking up with her. atia?

I said to my girlfriend and I'll say it here, if bloodborne is visceral femininity, then resident evil is brutal masculinity. The settings and characters are the stereotypical macho man military guys, such as Chris redfield who literally punches a boulder and destroys it, to some of the most famous villains, mr x, nemesis, all being huge bulky guys. "But E, what about the female roles like Jill and claire?" Well, again, Jill exudes a pretty stereotypical military masculine look. (This is not that chud incel talk of "she's not a pretty big busted woman", I'm saying from a standpoint, her character is similar to Chris's, and she shares that predator rambo vibe) But then, you have the other side of this, with Ethan winters. Ethan is a very complex character, because unlike leon who's backfilling off walls, Chris who's killing women, or hell, his wife, a secret agent, Ethan is, for better lacking, some guy, he's timid, he does give some one liners here and there, but more often then not, he's not looking to be this hero, he's a concerned boyfriend, husband, and later in village, father. He comes off as this antithesis to everyone else, and he portrays the other side of masculinity, the more protective, and this more nurtured side. He's a pretty gentle and kind person, and unlike Chris and leon, who shoot and don't really show emotion, leon cries, he freaks the fuck out, he is terrified, yet just like the other men, he continues, because he knows he's needed, Nia needs him, Rose needs him, Chris needs him. He represents this, what I'd consider a now rare breed of guys who aren't total toxic masculine douches that were beginning to see more of today. A lot RE is also on the impact men, and how shitty they are to women. Lady D hates men, more than likely due to some trauma from men, and also due to her very clear queen undertones, we can understandably and ostensibly pick up she probably has some rights to be misandrist, but she seems to like the Duke, a man who also doesn't exude the hypermasculinity Chris and leon have, hell, ethan doesnt even see him as a threat. Another is moreau, a man who would be seen as even more less masculine than the others, he's short, ugly, and above all, lacks the confidence and bravado everyone else has. But to me, he also is this representation of, I guess in layman's terms, "mommy issues" he's desperate to prove his worth to Miranda, who views him as an absolute failure, not even worthy of her praise or love. However, moreau also feels like a representation of how most men have probably felt in their lives, someone to be loathed, someone undeserving and pathetic, someone who fails at everything, while these aren't just tied to men, it also feels like an issue that more men seem to talk about, especially when talking on the current mental state of men and how men are more at risk of suicidal thoughts and acting upon them.

While these are the only examples I'm going into detail on, their are a lot more imo, like the kind nature of jack baker, which then turns into an evil, toxic cesspit from evelines manipulation and infection, and Lucas, this conniving, apathetic man who still is pitiable, being forced by his own father to become one with evelin, as well as the toxic father son relationship they have, another issue among guys and young men and their dad's overbearing and old fashioned natures.

When opla was announced I was guarded, but trailers and learning that Oda would have first and last word about everything made me hopeful.

But I knew that live action are never for the actual die hard fans.

Too much need to be cut because of time, as real actors cant look like they only age two years for 26 years, and some cartoon stuff doesnt translate well to live action *cough* garps fist of love *cough*

So I was able to convince my friend to watch opla with me.

She had read the manga when she was little, up to syrup village, so she was excited to see Kuro because she actually liked him back when she read it.

I was mostly there just to observe my friends reaction to it instead.

My favorite moment was watching her freak out after the "grandpa?" reveal.

I dont like that Garp was included that early on, I didnt mind him being there at rogers execution. But more than that seemed too much. I watched some Netflix guy explaining that they wanted to add a reason why the strawhat had to keep moving from island to island, but no marine would do because who would bother chasing a pirate crew with no bounty. I understand that reasoning. Still dont like it, but I understand.

But my friends reaction made it all better.

Did you know netflix wanted a romance between Nami and Zoro? Thank god Oda was there to stop it.

Also my friend and I quote "Oregano is for savages!" a lot now.

I'm truly glad you liked it anon and I do understand the excitement that came with it, but I honestly could not stand it. Nearly every scene and every line was like "Sanji wouldn't say that. Nami wouldn't do that. Why is this happening? Luffy definitely wouldn't say that."

An adaptation must adapt to its medium, true, but that is not what this did. This was an insanely loose reinterpretation that took so much charm away for me. I've talked about it on this Tumblr tons now but I've finally had the time to watch through all of it now that the hype's died down, and it just made me angrier per episode?

They had to shorten things down, but they included so many new scenes that added nothing? They had to explain the Strawhats going from island to island... WHY? They literally had a spine to go off, the original property had them going from island to island to find a crew and get to the grand line. That's literally a very solid reason. WHY did they need any marines chasing them? It just sounded like an excuse to add a fan favourite character so the Garp fans could scream about it.

And I've said this many times, but Oda being part of the process genuinely means nothing to me. Netflix infamously do not listen to their creators, and not only did they admit Oda HATED the Garp addition and they STILL added him, you can tell so much of his original vision was thrown aside for non-anime fan audience convenience. Usopp and Sanji felt like side characters for god's sake, Buggy felt comically evil for a LIVE ACTION, Mihawk's fight was literally so empty due to the fact no one was THERE? NAMI was the one who yelled she believes in Zoro and they'll always be friends??

I truly do not believe Oda would agree to most of that, and considering we know he was ignored for Garp, we know for sure he was definitely ignored for many other things.

As always, if you loved it, great! I'm glad the excitement was met. Maybe I'm cynical, maybe it's not to my tastes, but it screams Netflix cash cow to me and the whole time I watched it I thought "This is not One Piece at all."

As a reinterpretation? Great!

As an adaptation? It failed miserably. None of the characters felt like themselves and the additional scenes were so nothing. Sorry for the sour reply anon but for those on here who know, I indeed have a sore spot for that entire production.

I honestly think a lot of people got blinded by the pretty actors and the millions of dollars that went into production and promotion to really look at it for what it was trying to be.

part of an au where he only attempted to kill heather, kurt and ram and where the bomb only left him with a missing leg (very much inspired from a fanfiction)

jason doesnt regress a ton—he doesn't really consider himself jd anymore because all it does is remind him of his dad. but it happened a lot during the timeline the show took place in. very discreetly though. you wouldn't be able to spot it unless you're actively looking for it and, with it being the 80s, that's very unlikely.

he will often find himself curled up in bed at the end of the night, his head all fuzzy and clouded from the day, usually reading a simple book. at the minute, he's been reading "are you there god? it's me, margaret.". a bit of a walk in the park compared to the other stuff he reads but that's why he likes it. it gives him a break from his own world, it being a gentle reprieve from his own life.

it helps turn his brain off at night. or at least, it makes things smaller and for the first time in a long time, he doesn't have the words to describe his emotions. he was considered very emotionally smart by all the shrinks he used to see after his mom died and it was a fact he carried with pride for a long time but he's not too sure about that anymore.

now, he forgets about that, choosing to focus on the simplicity of the book and eventually falling asleep with the pages still being held between his fingers and the last thing he hears being his own breathing.

however, sometimes, he finds himself in bed at night silently crying and holding his childhood stuffed bear close to him. he vaguely remembers how he had gotten it. he was four years old, he thinks it was sometime in october, and his mother had taken him to the grocery store. he remembers freaking out about something and to soothe his tantrum, his mom let him pick something from the toy aisle. a stupid choice in his opinion but who was he to judge her parenting. this bear was the first thing he spotted and he carried through the rest of the store with a smile on his face. one thing he clearly remembers is buckling janice—he named her after his favourite muppet—into the seat next to him on the ride home.

years have passed and he still keeps janice in his bedroom. he can't seem to part with her. it's hidden under his bed though. he couldn't risk veronica seeing her. or his dad. lord knows what would happen if his dad saw her. he still keeps her because she helps him think of his mama. he misses his mama a lot. on nights like these, he tends to think of her a lot. think about her running her fingers through his hair, her arms wrapping him in a hug, falling asleep on her chest as she watched her shows, her cooking that was a little gross in retrospect but he longs for its flavour again, her soft curls he'd twirl in his fingers at bedtime, her. her presence often felt like a safe haven from the world that was forever unforgiving and cruel. even if, at the time, the peak of cruel was getting pushed at recess.

he just thinks about her and for a brief moment, he isn't jd, bud dean's little psychopath of a son that tried to kill an entire school. instead, he's jason. his mama's little boy.

in moments like these, he imagines her. or at least he tries to. it's getting harder these days and that thought scares him a lot. he curls up the blankets close to his chin and imagines it's her arms, holding him close to her chest and insisting that it's bedtime now and he should get some rest for a big day tomorrow. janice is now the link between the two. he occasionally feels bad leaving her underneath the bed all the time. he pictures she feels the way he does. abandoned by the one person who was meant to love her.

he knows tomorrow will come. another day in the cut-throat society of mega bitches and future mickey d's cashiers. another day without her. another day of her memory fading away. but for now, he lets himself sink in the memories of his childhood. and if veronica sees the dried tear tracks on his cheeks the next day, she doesn't say anything.

I don't know if you're still doing the venting thing you posted. But I really need it so I hope it doesn't bother you. My parents are really religious (Catholic), and I respect that. But I'm getting sick of it being shoved in my face constantly, and recently they told me that I was going to be 'confirmed' into the church soon. And I really don't want to be, and I have expressed discomfort about it multiple times but they just don't listen. And tonight, I asked my mother if I could skip church on Sunday because I wasn't feeling good. And she responded with not a single ounce of care or worry and simply told me that I HAD to go, then I expressed to her once more that really didn't feel like sitting in a church with nothing to do for an hour, and then gave a half assed attempt at making me feel bad by saying that: "Oh, well, Jesus could've just decided he wasn't going to go on the cross for all of your sins." She does this every time, and if I asked my dad, he probably would either yell at me or do the same. So I just went up to my room, and this might seem like a little bit of an overreaction. But I have been living my entire life in fear of what they would do if they found out about the things I like or am interested in. Like me being Omnisexual, they would probably freak out if they found out I support lgbtq, or watched things like Hazbin Hotel. They also control my entire phone and everything, the only way I am able to even be on this app is because I'm using a phone my parents don't know about. I also have no social life and barely any friends because of this. So thinking about all of this, I started to cry, I'm actually still crying while writing this. I just don't know what to do and I'm really panicking I'm sorry if this is too much or if I made any spelling mistakes :(

if you feel confortable/confident enough to say "im not going to church" and then stay in your room and not let them take you to chruch, i think you should. try to disobey. dont let them get into your head. itll all be okay, i promise <3 if you dont feel good, you dont feel good. you shouldnt have to go. i would bet that jesus also misbehaved during his life time. its human nature to disobey and want to be free from the grasp of someone/something. to disobey/misbehave is to be human. i, personally, think that being forced to go to church, or really anywhere, when you dont want to go is just cruel. jesus may have died for peoples sins, but that doesnt mean that people must go to him even when they dont want to. religion is something you believe in, you choose to believe in something, you choose to be part of that religion. it is never okay to force someone into religion. also, your parents forcing you to go to church, wouldnt that be considered a sin?

i dont see your reaction as an "overreation." i wouldve done the same if i were in your shoes. going to your room is just going to a safe space where you can be alone and be yourself. no child should live in fear of their parents. weither it be about them finding out what you like or if you might have done something you shouldnt have, they should always be calm and talk it through with the child slowly and make sure that the child is comfortable to talk about it.

if all of this is ruining your social life, maybe its time to tell someone irl who could help. i know i sound like a dick for saying this, but i think you should. only if you are comfortable. if this is too big of a step, you can chill with me and my moots and well help you to the best of our abilities. at least, i know i will. i know asking for help is a really big step and terrifying. a way that works for me that makes asking for help or telling someone about my problems is writing it down.

my teacher once wrote me a note asking smth like "whats wrong?" and i told her in writing. i wrote down what was wrong. i was able to talk to the guidence person once, but i was able to get a little bit of help with that. through writing i was able to communicate easier because when i started to cry, i could still write. it gets hard to talk when the tears start to flow, right? for me it does. writing makes it way easier to get all your thoughts and feelings down to give to someone to help you. i know its scary. i know itll be hard. but you can always come back to me for help. ill try my best to help.

maybe try to talk to your parents again tomorrow? say your head really hurts and you feel dizzy? its okay to lie. even if you suddenly feel fine tomorrow but still dont want to go, lie. lying is normal. its not a sin. its not something that will make you go to hell. everyone lies. if someone says "i never lie" or "ive never lied before" theyre lying. i am once again, willing to bet that jesus lied before in his life. everyone has. its another thing that makes us human. if you have to lie, make it something that they cant test with a thermometer. like a, terrible stomachache, a pounding headache, your leg really hurts. youll have to convincingly limp for your leg hurting really bad, but those are lies you can tell your parents to hopefully make them let you stay home.

Long post ahead, personal rant/vent. You dont have to read if you dont want to.

(Tw. Terrible spelling, english not first language and too stressed and tired to care)

I feel like I am failing so hard in life. I am 22 yrs old I dont have a drivers liscence, and I am not at university, on top of that I have never had a real job (only internships through high school) I job searched all of last year and only got 1 interview. Which when I showed up, turned out they didn't know I was going to show up. Or the fact that I had an interview to begin with!

Luckily I manged to get a summer job, and I am taking some courses to be able to go to university.

I guess I cant blame myslef too much for not being able to go to university. I did break my leg in the last year of high school and had to have three different surgeries to fix it, which meant a lot of bed rest and being away from school. Which meant I had to drop my extra courses that would make me elligble to immedietly go to university.

However I did recently (last year) pick up those courses (and I spread them out over 3 terms so I would have time and I wouldn't have to pressure myself) and I am finished with 2/3. But now I am about to FAIL the last one purely because of reasons I feel are so stupid.

The course is almost over and I have only handed in like 2 assigments, I havent even started so many of the ones we're supposed to do! The fucked up thing is that I want to write these essays and be finsihed with the course and go to university and have my life be sunshine and rainbows, but I physically cant force myself to write them! And I hate that when I ask for help people tell me to "just start to write and go from there". Which should be great advice (considering everyone says it) but when I start to try to write nothing comes out!! Then I just sit there staring at my computer. And I do try, but it doesnt seem like enough. Probably cause it never is.

I have started therapy this year aswell, which is kind of a huge deal considering my horribly abusive mother is a phycologist, and I know a lot of the ins and outs of therapy. But I dont know how to bring up the fact that I am activley screwing myself over. My therapist is very kind, but I dont think she fully understsands my problem (?) we have talked about the fact that I have horrible social anxiety, which may be a result of my mother always criticing me and constantly saying nasty things which also leads to a performance anxiety, because I dont want to be observed/known or some other term that may descibe what I'm feeling. But the problem isnt that I cant hand in my essays, the probllem is I can never start them. But I dont know how to bring it up. Hell I dont know how to even bring up everything I am thinking about ina session.

Currently the time is 22.37, I have an oral exam in 13 hours on a book I havent read (which I was supposed to write a litterary analasys to use as a script) and I am freaking out.

And now because I am a lazy (if what i suffer from is lazyness) i am setting myself back an entire year. Its easy to just retake the course and try again next time. But I have sort of lied to everyone in my vicinity that it's going great (probably a coping mechanism).

I also think some of it may be stress, (considering how behind I am in everything, and the fact that I am constantly stressed) i have noticed that occasionaly when i get very VERY stressed (like this moment now) i become paralyzed by action and am just unable to function. But I should still be able to force myself no?? So why cant I?!! Maybe everything is paralyzing becuade everything is stressful?

I mean I haven't gotten my period in 17 days which is NOT normal for me, and I havent noticed anything off about my hormones (other then the extreme stress I am under). And there is NO WAY I am pregnant unless it's the next coming of Christ, considering I'm a virgin.

Which is also something I am weirdly stressed about (?) I dont despretly want a boyfriend, but I would like to be loved/have someone be attracted to me. I do however not think I am attractive enough for a boyfriend, dont get me wrong I have a pretty face, nice smile, great laugh etc. But I am fat, not overly so but I am 170cm and weigh around 90-100kg (thanks broken leg and bed rest) I am on a diet and I do work out and I am despretly trying to lose weight because I am sick of being the ugly friend. And also people online are really mean to fat people.

Another insecurity is that fact that I have tubular/tuberous breasts (type 1 and type 2, huzzah for asymetrical bobbies) I dont hate them as much as I used to, and I pretty sure I dont want to get surgefy to get them fixed. But I still worry about losing the weight (and my boobs probably getting smaller, which I am going to hate, but atleast I'd be skinny ig) and looking so good and getting a boyfriend and then going to have sex for the first time and him being disgusted by my boobs.

Idk, my life just feels like a mess. Which is ok, because who has everything together at 22? But I just feel like if only I put more effort into things (even when it is physically impossible for me) my life would be better...

I have no one else to blame. Why do i do thsi to myself? Why cant I force myself?! Why cant life work out for me the way it works out for others!!

holy CRAP bro. so i just got back from my parent-student conference (basically where like the student puts together a portfolio to show what they've been doing in school to their parent), and oh my fuck that couldn't have gone worse. i'm actually going to throw up i tell you! throw up! so uhm i'm just going to explain real quick on how ot started out pretty well and then escalated to extremely and incredibly awkward in my opinion.

so i went through my presentation and what not in 🐢's homeroom because that's the room we signed up for me to do mine in, and right as i finished, 🐢 walked in. i thought it was a bit awkward at first that he walked in right as i was finishing up, but it actually wasn't that bad, especially considering the fact that my parents have already met him when he taught my 7th grade year. he was talking to them about how well i do in class and he said that he's happy to have me, especially compared to many of my other classmates. he was talking about how he thinks i'm a joy to have in class and i was genuinely trying really hard not to smile because like it's extremely hard to accept like positive remarks/compliments about me from another person. 🐢 also talked and compared my behavior from last year to this year, and talked about how i have seemed to really open up my personality in class and in general this year. (which i DEFINITELY have like i was actually pretty awkward/nervous in class last year especially around 🐢, and i've tried really hard to improve and work through my anxiety and it's really made a difference in my life :D). 🐢 alsi talked about how i have been eager to do stuff and help this year, and how he was really happy that i decided to join an after school thing he helps coach. I thought he was really sweet and honestly like i'm really happy and proud of how i've been soing this year, especially reagrding my relationships with my like clsssmates and just people in general! :3

ANYWAYS--my parents weren't present during open house so they didn't get to meet 🦔 or mrs W (🐬), so my mom wanted to meet them both during this. We went to 🐬's room next so they could meet her, and honestly she's really sweet. she talked about how i do in class, and though i'm not attatched to her really in any way, she's soso nice and i actually LOVE her as a teacher! thiugh i find it really funny because she was like; "mia tends to ask the right questions, often asking ones that her classmates could not comprehend asking or coming up with" which using the word 'comprehend' is actually WILD but really freaking funny and sweet towards me atleast lol. she also talked about my art and what not and about how whatever profession i'm planning on going into she's sure i'll succeed, but im like actually horridly horrible at taking compliments so like it was a teensy bit awkward X3! but i do really like her, and i'm happy to be in her class.

uhmm soo 🦔.. actually horrific. so we were waiting in the hallway cuz he was talking to another fsmily and when they left we were gonna go in but he fucking came out into his doorway which may seem like it doesnt matter or change anything but to ME it just made things a teensy bit worse (i was already nervous as fuck to see this man without any of my friend around). but erm anyways we went into my room and my mom introduced herself and as SOON as 🦔 opened his mouth to speak my baby brother got a bit scared and my stepdad had to take him into the hallway qwq and that itself just proves this guy's intimidating but hes like hot intimidating I DONT EVEN KNOW MAN. but uhm whenever im ariund him my brain kinda just fizzles out so i dont remember much except of how awkward it was and this like strange eye contact we kind of had. while he was talking about how i do in class to my mom he was just staring at me the entire time. i normally like eye contact but with him it's a different story. i mean, i was standing directly next to my mom because whenever i'm nervous i stand close to people, but i could DEFINITELY tell that he was staring at me and not her despite the fact that he was talking to her and that made me like, curious? i dont know. but other than that there wasn't much until he pointed out where i sit in class (dead middle and front of the classroom) and he talked about how he annoys my friend and I with his brainrot and stated that we apparently talk brainrot back? to which i argued about, but i think i just made a fool out of myself because i was talking extremely fast due to my nervousness and embarrassment. it was kind of strange though, because he appeared like i dont know, content? he's very like, idk, the just overall vibe/expression i get from him is just, hard. it's difficult to read and explain, i'm not sure.

but funny story; when i got into the car my mom turned around and was like "okay nevermind now i know why you find 🦔 scary" 😭💀
