I just watch Good Day For It... I have so many thoughts!!

With how it was set up, it felt like an indie film, or one of those shows with an hour+ runtime per episode. I had to double check the that this was a on-its-own movie. I don't mean that in a bad way at all! I kinda hoped it was so we could get more story and action XD but it was just- executed sooo well! By the halfway point, I was surprised that Emily hadn't been kidnapped and Luke had to go rescue her. The movie focused on them and their relationship and her getting the answers she needed. No unnecessary drama or action needed to keep us at the edge of our seats. I absolutely love how you can see what the characters are thinking through their emotions and expressions- especially Luke!!!! And I was so so so relieved when we got that happy ending of the family reunited. No prison or death for Luke, Emily and Sarah can get all their answers and hopefully they'll be one bug happy family again ^^

Hec and Rose? Do I need to say anything?? They are the BEST supporting cast ever. Hands down. I need Rose and Reba to hang out. I need more Hec and Rose banter. I need more of Hec not just flirting with Rose and genuinely caring for her. I. Need. Them.

And of course, I can't forget the thugs you- and now I- love. First of all; Norman is my favorite. He's just.... Hooooooo fuck. I need him. I need that man. So in control? So level headed yet dangerous at the same time??? Lord have mercy (it doesn't help at all that I'm 99% sure that this is the same guy who played Foxy. WHAT IS IT WITH THAT MAN AND HIS VOICE!?)

As we can see, this is yet another case of me falling in love with the sidekick/accomplice of the one you're in love(?) With. First buck and Harper, then Big Bad and Granny. Greasy and Psycho, Otis and Baby/Rufus. And now Norman and Wayne. What other team/duo are we going to fall for next? XD

Secondly, all these guys KILLED their roles. Oh my god, they really bring a whole new level to the movie when they're on screen. The tension is so thick, you could cut it with a butter knife. They just.... Ohhh my god, I wish I watched this movie sooner so I could appreciate your writing of them more!

Thirdly... Ok the fact that Robert England's character was dealt with by smashing a plate on his head 🤣🤣🤣 I'm sorry, a plate smashing can do serious damage (especially to an old man *cough*) but- the other two got shot, but it's this toon of a man that's finished off with a dish. Please tell me I'm not the only one who found that funny XDDD

And finally.... ALL OF YOU GUYS ARE TALKING ABOUT WAYNES EGG COMMENT, BUT NONE OF YA'LL TALKING ABOUT ANY OF LYLES LINES!?!? Okay *cracks knuckles* I have three headcanons for Catia.

I can't remember if this came up in Heart of Tin, our joint fic, or if I just made it up on my own, but Catia loves *really* cold and unusual weather, right? So, hc that she takes Isidore on romantic trips to fucking Oymyakon (aka the coldest liveable place on earth) and Iceland (which ofc is cold, but also has the peculiarity of spending around two months of the year in utter darkness, and she'd ofc ask Isidore to go to Iceland during such months).

Once Isidore and her marry, she arranges to live in a house like Winchester Manor --doors leading to nothing included-- + when they have a child (I may be wrong on this one, but they had a gnc child?), Catia nails dolls's heads to the nursery's walls so that her baby will feel like they're always looked after.

And finally, ik Catia is as in touch with her Spanish side as I am to the Asian side according to my mother I have (meaning that I could have no Asian relatives at all), *but* I feel like Vicenta and Alvaro would try to show her parts of Spanish culture that she'd like. Mainly, I'm talking about the Fallas de Valencia, because Wagner look:

I'm not from Valencia, but I'm pretty sure Catia would appreciate a festival where wooden statues are burned in the middle of the night. Someone wants to know where she gets her power (her powerful performances feel very healing to many fans). She says it’s from the time she spends with her sister and the time she gets to relax at home. During these off-times she can preserve a lot of power and let it all out at lives and events. She also gives some skin care advice. She does her best to remove her make-up as soon as she comes home (she also tries to put on as little make-up as possible which is quite easy for her since she rarely leaves her home).

But for a rock arrangement she prefers guitars solos and a a good drum beat. She would kinda like to know how to play the guitar properly so she could use it during performances.

Time to introduce her new goods (there are four in total): a multi-purpose cloth, a multipurpose case (I WANT), a black and beige cap (I WANT - although they look huge so maybe not) and a belt-strap for her backpack (I WANT). I am gonna say, because Psi is constantly moving, like there’s constantly an oncoming threat and the characters never get to take a fucking break (that’s longer than 5 minutes), it just... Because there’s no contrast between danger and peace, it makes the non-stop danger feel far less dangerous imo

Aaaand nothing of value was seen there. I mean I do know what Patamon probably evolves into because I do follow the Digimon Twitter so like, I saw the relevant art they shared but ye

Anyways  a lot of these episodes were dull as usual, I didn’t feel like I missed out on much tbh aside from the sexy animation and the lore

This really drives it home to me how not having a villian of somekind just constantly present and active really makes a story so much more flat for me... Like I ain’t gonna argue Devimon or MetalSeadramon were interesting villians, but even just seeing them planning their next moves outloud and talking to their minions drove home what kind of people they were, and they weren’t even the most Packed-With-Personality villians in Adventure.    And while SkullKnightmon is there... they’re just kinda standing around. I don’t know much about them really and it makes me sad

(Look I’m sorry I’m a filthy villian-stan and not having interesting villians to stan makes me sad)

Anyways, as always, I am definitely looking forward to whatever the fuck Psi is planning on doing because 1. Holy Shit It’s Milleniummon and 2.
