*Enid & Thing go out into the hallway to talk about Wednesday*
Enid: *major concern* "Is Wednesday alright? IS SHE DEAD?!"
Thing: *signs* "Wednesday is alright. She's not dead"
Enid: *almost faints with relief*
Thing: *signs* "But she did drop a MAJOR bombshell though"
Enid: *confused & lowkey scared* "Was it about murdering someone?"
Thing: *signs* "It was about you"
Enid: "Ok, now I'm really scared"
Thing: *signs* "You have to see Wednesday right now! Come on!"

"Are you seriously telling me you don't have a single clue as to who could have given you that?" Enid's voice was exasperated as she had yet again tried to see if y/n had any idea who could have given her the necklace they found just the other night. All the moving had been full of the same questions from the blonde, while Thing seemed to get more and more tired of the constant nagging she was doing.
"No," y/n had a strong, and very reasonable, suspicion. After what had happened just the night before, it was hard for her to believe it was him. The handwriting on the note was also familiar—too familiar to go unnoticed.
"Seriously, you're dealing with someone who really likes you. I mean, they must do if they gave you a whole necklace and somehow got it into our dorm."
Enid was walking in the middle of the three of them, her arms hooked with both of the two Addams sisters, y/n a bit more okay with it than Wednesday, who had muttered out a few threats. They had just reached the classroom and walked inside to find seats, and today, y/n was determined to sit beside either her sister or Enid, for she knew that when Xavier entered and if he were to sit next to her, he would, as usual, take great pleasure in making her even more flustered.
"Or a murder." Wednesday stated her case clearly as she released her arm from Enids' grip and found an open seat. y/n didn't hesitate to take a seat right next to her sister, securing herself from having to withstand a cocky Xavier Thorpe.
"Where should I sit now?" Enid exclaimed, flailing her arms in the air at the two sisters. "Aren't you going to sit next to Xavier as always?"
"You can sit with Yoko." Wednesday motioned behind them to Yoko, who sat alone and smiled at the blond. Enid shrugged and did not protest, quite content and totally okay with sitting next to Yoko as she was a friend of theirs.
y/n had just taken out the new book she had chosen to read and was about to start on it when she was nudged by Thing. He poked her arm and pointed towards Enid and Yoko, and turning, she found both of them looking at her. She had most certainly not heard what they said.
"What?"
"Show Yoko the necklace! We found a necklace on her bed yesterday from someone!" Enid was beaming as she motioned towards the chain around her neck, and Wednesday sat turned so she faced her sister and the two girls at the bench behind them. Yoko had only leaned forward on the table to see better, clearly intrigued by what Enid had just said.
y/n stood up, reaching for the chain that was around her neck. She had it under her shirt, so it was a bit of a struggle to get it up without completely destroying her perfectly made tie. When she finally managed to get it out to show, she leaned closer to Yoko and held out the necklace, refusing to take it off. To be honest, she had put it on almost directly the day before when she found it and had not taken it off, even when sleeping.
Yoko took a close look at the necklace; the pearl that was inside the little cage-like charm moved as she inspected it. Enid had too leaned closer to once more take a look at it and Wednesday just sat and stared. "Who gave it to you?"
"I don't know." Was once more y/n's answer, but this time it was Yoko who had asked her and not Enid. Wednesday cast a suspicious glance at her sister; something didn't add up.
"You don't know?" Yoko was confused.
"No, I just said I didn't."
"She just came back covered in paint all over, and I had seen the necklace just minutes earlier while looking for my charger she borrowed." The blonde really did all of the explaining. y/n sat back on the stool by her and Wednesday's table but was turned away towards Yoko and Enid; it was still about five minutes till class.
"Covered in paint?" The vampire raised a brow at y/n who, instead of putting the necklace back under her shirt, had pulled it around so the tie of her uniform would hide it; it was less of a struggle to wear it that way.
"Yeah... why were you even covered in paint? Weren't you with Xavier?" Just as Enid said that, Xavier walked inside with Ajax behind him, and the mention of his name made him turn his head.
"Anything I could help with?" Xavier asked while he and Ajax walked and sat down at the empty seats to the left of Yoko and Enid.
"Yes! Why was y/n completely covered in paint when she got back to our dorm yesterday?" It was obvious to one or both of them, namely Wednesday, Yoko, and Ajax. Ajax had caught Xavier returning to his dorm, also covered in paint strokes and splatters the previous night.
Xavier took a glance at y/n, amusing smirk appearing on his face while y/n gave him an intense stare. "She was being annoying; it was the only way she would shut up."
"I got you better; you looked worse than I did." That was indeed a fact; Xavier had gotten the worst of it, and Ajax started to nod at her.
"True, you looked as if you'd gotten paint dumped on you." Ajax told him, which made the boy beside him smack his arm, feeling betrayed by his own friend.
"Seriously?"
"What? I'm just being honest, man; she got you good." Even though it was not the kind of payback that Wednesday would go for, hers being more brutal, she turned to y/n who blinked at her sister. She received a nod from Wednesday, as if it were a good job nod; it was well received and sufficient to demonstrate that she cared.
Enid had held out her hand for a high five as a way of saying "good job" to y/n. For a second, she just looked at the outstretched hand towards her before everting her eyes back to the blond, who motioned for her to give her a high five. With a sigh, and just the tiniest roll of her eyes, she did as her friend wanted. It was a bit silly of her to high-five over something like being able to get more paint on Xavier, but it made Enid happy, so.
As y/n turned to see how long it was till the teacher would be there, Xavier took the chance at hand to try and see if she was wearing it. Trying to spot the chain around her neck was hard, but when he looked a little closer, he could see the silver chain and that the charm was hidden behind her tie. It made a smile pull at his lips, and she wore it. He glanced at Thing, who sat on Wednesday's shoulder; the hand noticed and gave him a quick thumbs up, which was only noticed by Ajax. The gorgon looked perplexed, but Xavier didn't explain why Thing gave him a thumbs up.
"Hey, y/n got a new necklace yesterday!" There was just something about Enid that made her feel the need to tell everyone about it. At the boys' mention of it, y/n turned with a murderous look in her eyes towards the cheery girl. She loved Enid, but holy hell did she unknowingly feed into Xavier's ego.
"I do not believe everyone is in need of knowing that, Enid." It was Wednesday who told the girl off.
"Well, my bestie has a secret admirer who got her a necklace; that's cute!"
Oh yes, this was exactly what Xavier found enjoyment in. While Y/N sat and had all five look at her, she was very uncomfortable with all the attention. He was playing along and acting a little shocked, as if he didn't know anything.
"It is a necklace; there is no need to make it something bigger."
"Why are you wearing it if it's just a necklace, as you say?" Curse Yoko for always noticing the very small yet fatal flaws in certain things.
"It looks good, and I guess I appreciate the gesture." As usual, her face did not show much emotion, but her tone was a bit more questioning than confident. Though for Xavier, it was always her eyes that told the truth, and they said she did appreciate the gesture.
"Well, he's a lucky man then," Xavier stated so as to sound interested and not suspicious, but it made y/n turn to him.
"How do you know it's from a guy? It could be a girl, because you make it sound as though you know something." y/n pointed it out to him, which made Xavier open his mouth to say something but then close it as he gave up. He was shaking his head slightly at her while all the others were watching them interact.
Before anyone could say anything, the teacher entered the classroom, calling for everyone to get to their seats and open up their books. Xavier clicked his tongue at Y/N, who only gave him a fleeting glance before turning to do as the teacher instructed. Without shame, he could see her pull at the chian around her neck, making it a little more visible.
She did not notice, but others did notice the way he looked at her. The people behind or Ajax beside Xavier could see the way he looked at her. He would look forward and show he was focused on the lesson, but as soon as the teacher turned, his focus would be on y/n who listened intently to the lesson while fiddling a little with the necklace.
He was enamoured with her, and sometimes it was just silly how much he did like her. Some would say he was whipped and that she had him wrapped around her little finger. But he honestly couldn't remember how he got to this point or how he fell so in love with her. Sure, that day when they were waiting for their friends just about a week ago and she truly did smile seemed to have something to do with it. But he knew that. When it came to just a week ago, he had no clue about that.
Maybe it was the way she could sit and just listen, not say a word, and somehow still show she cared. It could very much also be how she actually trusted him; if he said something about someone (like Tyler), she would think the same, standing by him. Or perhaps it was the way she had begun to show more of herself after they had known each other for a while. She let her mask of an expressionless and emotionless person drop, slowly showing him her real self. Maybe that was what he loved so much.
He knew that she had figured it out. She was too smart not to. So why wait any longer.
——
Everything was a blur. How had it all escalated this fast? Only about a week ago, this was not a thing. Xavier had not been so adamant about making her flustered around other people. A week ago, they had just been y/n and Xavier, the two who were seen as an odd pair of friends.
Sure, y/n had figured out about a month ago that she felt just a bit more than friendship for Xavier, but she had kept it to herself. However, there were certain things she let him in on a bit more, such as when she let him see a bit more of her without her facade when they were alone. She found that, unlike people in the past who would use her for the heck of it and make her feel bad, Xavier did the opposite. He let her be who she was and did not care; he did not ask her to change, and he did not make her feel as though she couldn't show her true self without then being betrayed.
And then yesterday, it felt right when he drew her back toward him instead of letting her go when she wanted to, hands on the sides of her face, caressing with such gentleness as if she might break. The way he looked at her was as if there were nothing else in the world, no one else in the world, and no one but her. She was very familiar with that look, all thanks to her parents.
Right then and there, she wanted to just stay forever. Standing close to him and just being able to stare into his green eyes forever. She liked the way her heart fluttered around him; it made her finally feel alive and not just dead on the inside.
It was all just so easy—so, so easy.
y/n took a sip at her tea, continuing to think with the sound of Wednesday writing on her novel. The tapping sounds of her sister's typewriter, not one she annoyed herself  mixed with some light music coming from Enid's side. The blond laid on her bed and looked through her phone; all day y/n just sat on her bed with a mug of tea in hand and stared into space.
"Do you still not have an idea of who gave you the necklace?" Endi broke the silence, and y/n actually contemplated telling her friend the truth but then realised how bad an idea it was.
"No."
"Awh man, I really wanna know who gave you it!" Enid sighed and sprawled out on her bed. y/n hummed at her just as there was the sound of a knock.
All three girls turned their heads, even Wednesday, who was currently on her hour of writing, and she was also the first to stand and walk towards the door. She muttered something about how it seemed people always knocked on their door when she was writing.
She went back to staring off into space, not expecting anything specific and thinking it would most likely be Ophilia or Yoko, but oh, how wrong she was.
When Wednesday opened the door, she was met by none other than Xavier Thorpe. She blinked twice as she looked up at him, narrowing her eyes at him. "Is there anything I could help you with?"
"Ehm yeah, is y/n there?" The sound of his voice made y/n furrow her brows and place her tea on the nightstand beside her bed.
"y/n, it's Xavier." With that, the gloomy girl went back to her writing, and soon y/n was the one standing in front of him.
"Hi," y/n couldn't think of anything else to say.
"Hey, could we talk?" With a glance behind her, Xavier could see Enid perk up at his request, and Wednesday turned her head almost like an owl toward them. Both others were looking at him with suspicion. "Somewhere we can be alone, maybe."
With a glance behind her, y/n understood what he meant. "Ehm okay. Yeah, sure." She didn't need to tell her sister and the werewolf she was going; they were both watching, but now they were watching Xavier.
Once she moved and closed the door, out in the hallway, Xavier wasted no time in taking a hold of her hand. It was not as bold a move as the one he pulled the day before, but it was enough to make y/n take a breath and calm her heart a little.
Without saying a word, he began to pull her down the hallway towards a more remote part of the dorm level of Nevermore. The tower stairs up to the attic in one of the towers were somewhere no one ever went. It was a bit away from the dorms, which would give them privacy.
Gnawing at the inside of her cheek, y/n hesitated for a second before she slowly let her hand close around his, seeing him just move his head to look down at their hands and then focus back on navigating his way around.
Finally reaching the stairs up to the tower, he stopped, his back still against y/n who very lightly held onto his hand. Looking around and up to see the tower stretch high above y/n switched which hand was holding Xaviers so she could walk around him and just go up the first step of the stairs.
It made Xavier gaze at her, no longer having the willpower to act all cocky and do or say something to make her flustered. He just wanted to enjoy watching her.
"I don't think there's much I need to say; you're too smart to not have already figured things out." Xavier started off, causing y/n to turn. She was a little taller now that she was on the third step, but not tall enough to not need to look up at him.
"And I thought you had taken me here to kill me." y/n spoke while looking out a window from the tower, seeing the whole schooground.
"You are... unbelievable." Xavier smiled, running a hand through his hair as y/n finally faced him, their eyes meeting.
"I just..." He trailed off, catching sight of the necklace. It was now on full display, as she did not hide it with her uniform, seeing as both of them had long since switched to casual clothing.
He looked down at it, taking it gently up and twirling it around in his hand; for once, it was him who was more flustered than her. For once, it was the way he could feel her look at him that made him flustered and not the other way around.
"I thought it would suit you; it does." He whispered, letting go of the charm on the necklace, looking back into her eyes, and for once, her walls, her facade, were completely down.
Just like the night before, he put his hands on the sides of her face, and even if she was a bit higher now than yesterday, she was still shorter. When she noticed a bit of his hair was falling in his face, she leaned a little extra into one of his hands and brushed his hair away from his face so she could see him better. Her whole insides were full of butterflies, which were flapping hard against her abdomen.
"You don't have much to say, do you?" Xavier chuckled as y/n just looked at him, not saying anything.
"I like it."
"Really?" There was a hint of amusement in his voice, which made her roll her eyes and lean forward, her forehead hitting his chest.
"I will mutilate you in your sleep." She threatened to the fabric of his t-shirt, but that only elicited another chuckle, and she could feel his chest vibrate as she did so.
"No, you won't," Xavier said, lifting her chin to see her face; her hands rested on his waist to keep herself steady.
And there they were, both seeing what they liked the most. He could see her smile, and she could see the look in his eyes that she adored. Without hesitation, Xavier leaned down and finally connected their lips.
Even if the tension between them over the past week had told them both enough about each other's feelings, the kiss was pure bliss, soft and sweet. Xavier could feel her lashes against his skin when her eyes fluttered shut, his heart swelling, and he just couldn't help but smirk into the kiss.
Pulling away to rest their foreheads together, both in need of air, she could feel him stroke his thumb along her cheekbone, just as he had done the day before. Her entire being was flustered once more as Xavier opened his eyes and looked into hers.
"Enid will strangle me to death just by hugging me if she gets to know about this," It was a thought she happened to say out loud, not meant for Xavier to hear.
"Mhm, but if you don't go back, she doesn't have to know till later."

If you'd like to refresh your memory of the Fellowship at its bitchiest (and Boromir at his best), the relevant text is below the cut.
Excerpted from The Fellowship of the Ring, Book II, Chapter 3: The Ring Goes South
Gimli looked up and shook his head. 'Caradhras has not forgiven us.' he said. 'He has more snow yet to fling at us, if we go on. The sooner we go back and down the better.'
To this all agreed, but their retreat was now difficult. It might well prove impossible. Only a few paces from the ashes of their fire the snow lay many feet deep, higher than the heads of the hobbits; in places it had been scooped and piled by the wind into great drifts against the cliff.
'If Gandalf would go before us with a bright flame, he might melt a path for you,' said Legolas. The storm had troubled him little, and he alone of the Company remained still light of heart.
'If Elves could fly over mountains, they might fetch the Sun to save us,' answered Gandalf. 'But I must have something to work on. I cannot burn snow.'
'Well,' said Boromir, 'when heads are at a loss bodies must serve, as we say in my country. The strongest of us must seek a way. See! Though all is now snow-clad, our path, as we came up, turned about that shoulder of rock down yonder. It was there that the snow first began to burden us. If we could reach that point, maybe it would prove easier beyond. It is no more than a furlong off, I guess.'
'Then let us force a path thither, you and I!' said Aragorn.
Aragorn was the tallest of the Company, but Boromir, little less in height, was broader and heavier in build. He led the way, and Aragorn followed him. Slowly they moved off, and were soon toiling heavily. In places the snow was breast-high, and often Boromir seemed to be swimming or burrowing with his great arms rather than walking.
Legolas watched them for a while with a smile upon his lips, and then he turned to the others. 'The strongest must seek a way, say you? But I say: let a ploughman plough, but choose an otter for swimming, and for running light over grass and leaf or over snow-an Elf.'
With that he sprang forth nimbly, and then Frodo noticed as if for the first time, though he had long known it, that the Elf had no boots, but wore only light shoes, as he always did, and his feet made little imprint in the snow.
'Farewell!' he said to Gandalf. 'I go to find the Sun!' Then swift as a runner over firm sand he shot away, and quickly overtaking the toiling men, with a wave of his hand he passed them, and sped into the distance, and vanished round the rocky turn.
The others waited huddled together, watching until Boromir and Aragorn dwindled into black specks in the whiteness. At length they too passed from sight. The time dragged on. The clouds lowered, and now a few flakes of snow came curling down again.
An hour, maybe, went by, though it seemed far longer, and then at last they saw Legolas coming back. At the same time Boromir and Aragorn reappeared round the bend far behind him and came labouring up the slope.
'Well,' cried Legolas as he ran up, 'I have not brought the Sun. She is walking in the blue fields of the South, and a little wreath of snow on this Redhorn hillock troubles her not at all. But I have brought back a gleam of good hope for those who are doomed to go on feet. There is the greatest winddrift of all just beyond the turn, and there our Strong Men were almost buried. They despaired, until I returned and told them that the drift was little wider than a wall. And on the other side the snow suddenly grows less, while further down it is no more than a white coverlet to cool a hobbit's toes.'
'Ah, it is as I said,' growled Gimli. 'It was no ordinary storm. It is the ill will of Caradhras. He does not love Elves and Dwarves, and that drift was laid to cut off our escape.'
'But happily your Caradhras has forgotten that you have Men with you,' said Boromir, who came up at that moment. 'And doughty Men too, if I may say it; though lesser men with spades might have served you better. Still, we have thrust a lane through the drift; and for that all here may be grateful who cannot run as light as Elves.'
'But how are we to get down there, even if you have cut through the drift?' said Pippin, voicing the thought of all the hobbits.
'Have hope!' said Boromir. 'I am weary, but I still have some strength left, and Aragorn too. We will bear the little folk. The others no doubt will make shift to tread the path behind us. Come, Master Peregrin! I will begin with you.'
He lifted up the hobbit. 'Cling to my back! I shall need my arms' he said and strode forward. Aragorn with Merry came behind. Pippin marvelled at his strength, seeing the passage that he had already forced with no other tool than his great limbs. Even now, burdened as he was, he was widening the track for those who followed, thrusting the snow aside as he went.
They came at length to the great drift. It was flung across the mountainpath like a sheer and sudden wall, and its crest, sharp as if shaped with knives, reared up more than twice the height of Boromir; but through the middle a passage had been beaten, rising and falling like a bridge. On the far side Merry and Pippin were set down, and there they waited with Legolas for the rest of the Company to arrive.
After a while Boromir returned carrying Sam. Behind in the narrow but now well-trodden track came Gandalf, leading Bill with Gimli perched among the baggage. Last came Aragorn carrying Frodo. They passed through the lane; but hardly had Frodo touched the ground when with a deep rumble there rolled down a fall of stones and slithering snow. The spray of it half blinded the Company as they crouched against the cliff, and when the air cleared again they saw that the path was blocked behind them.
'Enough, enough!' cried Gimli. 'We are departing as quickly as we may!'
And indeed with that last stroke the malice of the mountain seemed to be expended, as if Caradhras was satisfied that the invaders had been beaten off and would not dare to return. The threat of snow lifted; the clouds began to break and the light grew broader.
As Legolas had reported, they found that the snow became steadily more shallow as they went down, so that even the hobbits could trudge along. Soon they all stood once more on the flat shelf at the head of the steep slope where they had felt the first flakes of snow the night before.

Request: Hey I was wondering if you could do an Ajax x reader fic where Y/N can speak to animals and when she walks past Ajax she can hear the snakes talking about and admiring her so she starts to talk to them and Ajax is like wtf ofc they end up together but still it would be a funny one shot, like for example when they're taking a test next to each-other the snakes just tell her it answers. You don't have to make one but it would be greatly appreciated if you do could <3.
I absolutely love this! I've wanted to write something including his snakes- but I didn't know what! So! Let's go! (P.s. I have a lot of requests and alot of things to focus on and it's pretty hard so I'm sorry if these take along time)
SNAKE TALK!
Tumblr media
Pairing: Ajax Petropolus x fem!reader. (Because the request specifically uses she/her <3)
Synopsis: in which, a certain Gorgon's snakes take a liking to Enid's best friend ;)
The reader is a Zoolinguist.
Zoolinguism: ability of communicating with animals. (Had to do some deep research on this)
┈ ✁✃✁✃✁✃✁✃✁✁✃✁✁✃✁✁✃✁✁┈
You had been Enid's best friend for the past semester, it's only been a month since you started this one, and everything is going great except for one thing. Sometimes when walking around the campus, mainly the quad, you hear mumbling in really high pitched hushed voices, if that makes sense. You've told Enid but she has absolutely no idea what it could be, you knew animals weren't usually aloud in school.
You were sitting at the quad with Enid breaking your heads trying to figure out what it could be. Suddenly, you heard mumbling again, this time, detriment to find out what it was, you go focused on it. "Ohhh look! Look there she is!" "She's pretty!" "Come on!! Go closer!!",were some of the things you heard along with what sounded like hissing. Wait! Hissing?!.
"Enid!" You said shaking your head "what animal makes some type of hissing sound?" she narrowed her eyes "cats?" You shook your head "can't be.." just then the bell rang, oh god you had a test in astronomy (I'm too lazy to find out a name myself, sorry not sorry j.k.r <3) "sorry Enid, gotta run! We'll talk later" she nodded as you sped walked off.
You knew, nothing. "Damnit" you mumbled Staring at the paperwork Infront of you. It was like the latters didn't form words, it was a disaster. You looked to your side, seeing your crush and friend Ajax, the way his nose scrunched when he didn't know something was adorable to you. Turning back you blinked rapidly trying to make sense of the question, then you heard it again, mumbling and decided to focus once more "4! The answers 4!" You heard the voices. You filled in number 4. This went on untill you finished your test. You didn't know who or what they were but you sure were thankful. Walking out of class you mumbled a "thanks" hoping they heard and walked off, leaving Ajax confused, and distressed trying to get his snakes to stay in his beanie. They've been acting weirdly lately. And he didn't know why.
You walked into your dorm, full speed "Enid! Guess what!" She jumped, turning off her music "yeah? Do tell!" She jumped on her bed Patting the spot Infront of her for you to sit, and you did "I had a test in astronomy, and I knew nothing right?" She nodded "and then I heard them again, the voices" her eyes widened "and?! Come on!!" "They were telling me the answers!" You smiled wide eyed and you both started laughing "seriously?!" You nodded frantically trying to catch your breath "yes! Seriously!" She thought for a second "so you said, they are alot of voices together right?" You nodded "and they are high pitched?" "Yup!" "Hm, maybe the animals are small" "most likely yeah." "And they make hissing sounds?" "Yes what are you trying to say?" She shrugged.
You were, once again, in the quad. When Ajax walked up to you "Hey! Y/n!" You looked up "hi!" He sat down next to you "are you alright? You've been acting kind of weird lately... And so have my snakes" he whispered the last part but you heard and your eyes went wide "your snakes?!" He nodded "oh my god- that's it!" You laughed rubbing your face "what's it?!" And then they started mumbling again, it sounded like Laughing so you laughed along "you scared me" you said to them breathing out "how did i-? What?" Ajax said "no you your snakes!" Just them two of them popped out of his beanie"hi!" They said and you waved "wait what-?" Ajax looked up and his eyes went wide "have they been..." "Talking about and to me? Yeah, they even told me the answers yesterday" Ajax put on a fake betrayed face "you traitors" you shook your head "what can I say, they love me" "they're not the only ones" he mumbled "what?" "What?" "What did you just say?.." he gulped "nothing, I said nothing" "no you did" you looked up at the snakes still poking out of the beanie "he said he loves you" your eyes went wide "you... What?" He sighed "traitors.." I said- I love you" you nodded breathing heavily "I... Me too, I love you too" he smiled "good! That good" you giggled at his awkwardness "now kiss!" You heard the snakes again "fine fine" "what-" you cut him off, kissing him, smiling into his lips as they cheered.

deep claws (wednesday addams/reader)
Tumblr media
so this was a request but i posted it accidentally and i lost it along with half of my work but that's ok! anon i hope you like it.
summary: there was a big bruise on your body, one that you tried to keep hidden from everyone and that worked for some days. that is, until wednesday catches you in the lie.
warnings: blood and bruised and much pain, wednesday will also be scarier than usual but all end up with a happy ending
With a heavy sigh, you pulled down your shirt that had a huge blood stain right on top of the poorly made bandage, feeling the burning come back ten times worse.
"You should tell someone about this." Enid said. She was standing on the edge of your bed looking at you with concern. You didn't want her to find out, but in the end it was unavoidable since she walked into your room when you were trying to get stitches on yourself.
"I will not. This school is already going through a lot of problems, they don't need another one." You spoke firmly, leaving no room for argument.
Enid was stubborn though, and wouldn't let it go. "But you know you can die from it. You can have an infection."
You agreed and pressed your hand on your waist, right over the cut, applying pressure and tried to get up. From the copious loss of blood, you were still dizzy and a little weak so you swayed to your feet. "Look, I'll be better in a minute. I promise."
"Wednesday will hate me for not saying anything."
"She won't find out from me." You said, swallowing when a strong dizziness brought you an overwhelming feeling of nausea.
Enid went to your side and guided you to your bed and helped you to lie down in a position that wouldn't open all your stitches, and stood looking at you. "I still think it's totally stupid."
You smirked. "You can rest assured that I will live for years just to annoy you."
For the first time since she found out about that situation, she gave a genuine laugh and smiled. Enid was a great friend and she cared about everyone, which you appreciated, but you preferred to keep your situation out of other people's ears.
A few minutes passed between the two of you talking and then the door opened, revealing an ever stoic Wednesday. She looked angrier than ever. "Hey, Wed." You greeted, trying not to let your voice shake.
She grimaced at the horrible nickname and walked across the room, dropping her purse at the bed. "How was your day?" Every day she asked you the same question and tried to demonstrate things around you more openly. She was doing really well at it.
"Boring. Good thing Enid came." The blonde smiled at you and placed her hands in front of her body, looking between you both. She was used to being in the same room and witnessing Wednesday's minuscule affection, but in that moment she really wanted to be somewhere else.
"I came and I'm leaving. Bye to both." She said waving. Before closing the bedroom door she said an inaudible 'be ok' and you smiled in agreement.
Wednesday walked over to your side and sat down, looking at you deeply. "You're different." She looked you up and down.
"What do you mean?" You laughed nervously.
She looked into your face and locked eyes with yours, as if all the answers were there. "You are pale, sweating and your hands are shaking."
You swallowed hard and tried to smile but failed as your body shuddered as a sharp pain shot up your spine. "I'm totally fine."
"This is obviously a lie." She said. "Are you hurt?"
Trying to prove there was nothing, you threw your legs over the side and braced yourself to your feet, bitterly regretting it when you felt sharp twinges. It was like someone was stabbing you over and over again with inhuman strength.
A loud, aching scream escaped your throat and you fell back, your whole body shuddering and twitching with pain. Wednesday quickly moved to hold your head and helped you to lie down better. "What happened?" She asked, scared.
You took the best breath you could and pulled your shirt up, revealing the bloody bandage. Not waiting long, she moved to grab the first aid kit you had by your bed, not caring about the things falling to the floor. Because of your small feat, your stitches had burst and your cut was redder. For the first time in her life Wednesday was hating a sight like that.
She didn't say anything as she cleaned up and tried not to hurt you with the stitches. You could see that she was angry, worried and scared, and you knew you were going to have to explain why of those cuts. "It was the hyde, wasn't it?" She asked, turning around to throw everything she'd used away.
"Yes." You said, your voice breathy and trembling. "I was walking near the woods when he attacked me. I was lucky I managed to escape before he killed me, but I earned this."
She turned and met your eyes. She was angrier than you thought. "I told you to stay away from there. You could have died."
You threw your head back against the headboard and took a deep breath. "I know, and I didn't really go to the forest, I was in the garden."
"You shouldn't go there. I told you how dangerous it was." This time the one who was angry was you.
"I'm not going to stay inside this place forever just because a sick person is killing people. I need to breathe, Wednesday." You swallowed, feeling your throat close up. "I will not stop living because of this."
She stood up and pinched her eyebrows. "One second more and you wouldn't be here anymore."
That was a baseless argument, since you didn't want and wouldn't stop doing what you wanted because of some monster. "You think death is so beautiful, maybe I would start to think the same thing once I met her."
Wednesday's breathing grew faster and heavier, her hands curled into fists and clenched until her fingers turned horribly white. You had said the wrong thing. "When I saw the cut I thought about how I could have lost you, that I would never see you again and in a second that became my worst fear. So don't play with it ever again."
Softening, you nodded and stretched out your other arm, asking her to lie down next to you. Wednesday climbed into bed and tried her best not to touch anything that might hurt you and rested her head on top of your chest. "I promise, Wed."
While you slept, weary with pain and weak, she watched over you. Seeing you there, on the way to get well, alive and safe, she promised that nothing and no one would ever hurt you again. She would make sure of that.

Soft Spot for Soft Paws

summary: little did you know, your girlfriend, had a soft spot for your feline friend. who knew her gruffness could melt into a gentle cuddle with a purrball? warnings/themes: FLUFF, soft!wednesday, cuddles and cats words: 2.0k
Tumblr media
You can't believe your luck. Principal Weems has allowed you to adopt a cat for your dorm, and what's more, you've found the perfect companion. It's a gorgeous black cat that reminds you of your girlfriend, dark and mysterious.
"Oh, she's just like you!" you exclaim, picking up the cat and showing it to Wednesday. "Look at those eyes, so mysterious and enchanting. And that sleek black fur, like a shadow in the night. She's perfect for Nevermore."
Wednesday simply tilts her head, her face a blank slate. Your gushing must be annoying her, but you don't mind. You're too excited about your new companion to care. You continue to rave about her beauty, her grace, and her dark mystery while Wednesday rolls her eyes at you.
After you've finally run out of things to say, Wednesday speaks up. "What's her name?" she asks, sounding indifferent.
"How about Wendy? Wendy, like Wednesday! Get it?" you suggest, putting your arms on your hips thoughtfully.
Wednesday gives you a look that says, 'are you serious?' and you try to explain your logic, while holding Wendy up as if she were your newborn baby. Wednesday rolls her eyes so hard, they might fall out of her head.
"Alright, fine, Wendy it is," she says, turning the name into a statement rather than a question. You smile up at her, completely oblivious to her obvious distaste for both the cat and its name.
Wednesday can't help but roll her eyes again, but she can't stay mad at your sheer enthusiasm. You remind her of her own love for the macabre, even if yours is less refined than hers.
And the cat, well, she could never admit this to you, but she does find the cat's beauty mesmerizing. She's not going to spoil your joy this time, but she does make a promise to herself: next time you do something this annoying, she's going to make it clear that you're overstepping bounds.
But for now, let the dark and mysterious Wendy be the star of the show.
Just after you adopted the cat, you proudly brought it over to Nevermore to show off. Of course, you didn't bring it out in your dorm, but your friends came to see it. Like Yoko, Ajax, Enid, and even Principal Weems herself, just to check up on the cat.
You cradle Wendy in your arms, purring with contentment as she curls up against your chest.
"She's such a cutie pie! What's her name?" Enid asks, cooing over your new cat.
Without hesitation, you answered, "Wendy." Your friends, with the exception of you, side-eyed Wednesday.
Enid asked, "Wendy like...?" but everyone avoided pushing further, knowing what Wednesday might do if they continued.
Once everyone left, you closed the door, holding the cat once again like a baby and turning to Wednesday. "Do you want to hold her?" you ask, cocking your head to the side.
"No." Wednesday answers immediately, crossing her arms over her chest. "She's yours, not mine." She rolls her eyes, clearly not a cat person.
"Come on, everyone's held her except you. Will you hold her, please?" You insisted with a slight tease in your voice.
"Fine. Just one time. But that's it," Wednesday responds, standing up from where she was sitting on your bed. She hesitates for a moment before taking Wendy from you.
You carefully handed Wendy to her. The cat immediately hisses and snarls at Wednesday, clearly not liking the idea of being held by someone other than you.
Wednesday looks up to you for help, with confusion etched all over her face. "What's wrong?" she asks, with a hint of panic in her voice.
"I don't know. Maybe try some baby talk with her?" you suggested, scratching the back of your neck and snickering to yourself. You couldn't believe that you were actually encouraging her to talk to the cat in a soft, cooing voice.
"No," Wednesday answered, turning her nose up in disgust. But when Wendy continued to hiss, she reluctantly obliged, saying, "Fine, how do you baby talk?"
"Like this," you say, showing her how to do it. You baby talk to Wendy, calling her a "cute little kitty" and a "sweet baby." Wednesday looked at you in disgust, her eyes rolling, but she did her best to copy your baby talk.
The idea must have been torture for Wednesday, but she tried it anyway. "You're so cute and beautiful, aren't you, Wendy?" Wednesday said, not using much of a baby voice but sounding like a doll with murderous intentions. The cat calms down slightly, no longer meowing but instead purring softly.
She continues to speak softly to the cat, you can't help but break out into a fit of laughter, not expecting her to actually participate in this absurdity.
Wednesday turns to you, glaring at you through her dark, gloomy eyes. "Stop laughing," she says, her lip trembling with anger.
"I'm sorry," you say, quickly wiping the tears of laughter that have formed in your eyes and biting your lip to keep yourself from falling into another fit of laughter. Wednesday, still cradling Wendy in her arms, said, "And don't you go telling anyone about this. Or I'll make sure that will be your last laugh."
While Wednesday continued to babytalk Wendy, you stepped closer to her and leaned in to kiss her cheek. She didn't react, but you could tell by the way her lips curled into a small smile that she didn't mind your closeness.
The day's responsibilities have left you exhausted as you make your way back to your dorm room in Nevermore.
When you returned to your dorm room at Nevermore, you were surprised to find your feline companion, Wendy, missing. Immediately, your heart began to pound as you frantically searched under the desk, in the closet, and every nook and cranny of your dorm room, but it was futile.
Wendy was nowhere to be found.
Your mind was racing, what if she had wandered out of the room, or worse, gotten lost? Panic-stricken, you quickly put on your shoes and raced to Wednesday's dorm room as fast as you could, knocking rapidly on her door.
Wednesday's footsteps grew louder, and your heart skipped a beat as she opened the door.
Before she could even ask what you were doing outside her room, you blurted out, "Have you seen Wendy?" There was a desperate panic in your voice, and you knew it. Wednesday raised an eyebrow, and you hastily explained that your cat had vanished into thin air.
Without another word, Wednesday took your hand and led you on a search throughout the school: the principal's office, the greenhouse, the fencing class, the classrooms, the quad, and finally, the surrounding area outside Nevermore.
Wednesday realizes that you both need to return to the dorm before it gets too dark as the sun begins to set. With tears in your eyes, Wednesday consoles you, squeezing your hand.
You curled up on your bed, burying your face in the pillows as you let the tears fall. While tears continued to stream down your face, Wednesday sat with you, offering comfort and support.
Suddenly, you heard a soft meow underneath your bed, and Wendy, your beloved cat, emerged from beneath the bed.
You realized then that Wendy had been hiding under your bed the whole time. You couldn't believe you had searched so far and wide when she had been right under your nose.
Wednesday, never one to let a mischievous cat off the hook, immediately picks Wendy up and scolds her, "Don't do that again, understand?" Wednesday's stern tone seems to have an effect on Wendy, who meows in response, as if to confirm that she's gotten the message and won't repeat her mischievous behavior.
After that incident, you made sure to always check under the bed for Wendy before sleeping.
It's already Sunday evening, and your brain feels like it's about to burst from all the cramming you've done for your assignments. Your desk is covered in piles of papers and notes, and you've been sitting in the same chair for hours without moving.
Meanwhile, Wednesday is lying on your bed, unbothered and focused on her book. She's already done with her own assignments and is now just chilling out, away from the noise of her own dorm.
You wish you could have that kind of relaxation, but instead, you're stuck trying to finish your last-minute homework.
Wendy jumps up on Wednesday's lap, looking up at her expectantly. Wednesday looks down at the cat, annoyance clear on her face. "What do you want?" she asks, trying to keep her concentration on her book.
Minutes pass, and the cat doesn't get up from Wednesday's lap. Instead, it curls up beside her, seeming to enjoy the warmth of her body.
She finally gives in and closes her book, leaning back on the pillow and closing her eyes. It's not long before she falls asleep, with the cat's purring acting as a soothing song to lull her to sleep.
Wednesday starts to nod off, but you don't notice due to your all-night studying spree. You finally finish your homework, exhausted but relieved to be done. "Whew, that was a tough one," you say to yourself. You stretch your arms above your head and rub your eyes, feeling tired after hours of working.
You stumble toward the bed, only to see Wednesday curled up with your cat, sound asleep.
"Just one time, my ass," you mutter to yourself, making fun of her own comment from last week.
"I can feel your eyes burning a hole through my head," she says, her sleepy voice sounding almost angelic in the quiet night. "What?" she asks as she notices how intensely you're gawking at her.
When her eyes meet yours, though, you're struck by how beautiful she looks, even with her eyes half-closed and her hair framing her face. All your words slip away, and instead, you lean forward, pull her into your arms, and kiss her passionately.
Wednesday's eyes widen with surprise, but she doesn't push you away.
You pull away, and she glares at you, annoyed. "What are you doing?" she growls low. You lean in again, kissing her more deeply. The kiss lasts longer this time, and as it ends, Wednesday's body language changes, relaxation spreading over her face.
You kiss her again and again and again until Wendy wakes up and jumps off the bed, prompting both of you to release each other.
Wednesday rolls her eyes and says, "Wendy is asleep," as if it's your fault that your cat has woken up.
With a laugh, you get out of bed, your cat following close behind you, eager for her nightly snack. You grab a can of cat food and a bowl, pouring the food into the bowl and setting it on the floor for your cat. She eagerly laps it up, as if she were starving, even though she had been fed an hour earlier.
You climb back into bed with Wednesday curled up next to you while your cat begins to eat her meal.
You snuggle close to Wednesday, feeling her warm body against yours. She nuzzles her head against your chest, her breathing slowing and becoming more rhythmic as she falls back to sleep.
Satisfied with her meal, Wendy jumps onto the bed and curls up between you two, purring contentedly.
You lean in to kiss her, but she stops you. "Wendy's sleeping. Be quiet," she whispers, placing a finger to your lips to shush you.
You nod in understanding, and she lets you lean in to give her a chaste kiss on the forehead.
The last thing you see before drifting off is your beloved cat, curled up between you and Wednesday, purring contentedly. The sound of her purrs fills the quiet room as you finally fall asleep, happy to be with the person you love and your adorable cat by your side.

scorch marks | ch 3
Wednesday Addams x Reader
Series Summary: Wednesday has been careful to keep what you two have behind closed doors and far away from labels; but when someone starts to take it — take you — away from her, she realizes how much she cares.
A/N: I'm not sure if I'm completely happy with how this turned out, but that's my life nowadays. And I wanted to post this for you guys before I leave for my little trip for new years, so I hope you enjoy it. Also, I think I ended up writing this one exclusively from Wednesday's pov lol. <3

Human emotions were a strange, bothersome thing. Love could make you kill just as much as anger; ambition could make you get down on one knee to pledge your devotion to someone just as much as love.
They can get in the way of a clear mind, making you say or do something that would come back to torture you later.
That was probably their most devious power. And they lead to feelings; that are messy and unstable.
Wednesday prided herself on having control over them, not the other way around. Or at least she did. Because recently she has been victim to so many, that she didn't have the stomach to keep count.
She remembers the coldness of the rain against her skin as she walked away from Weathervane — away from you — it was pleasant and comforting; a safe blanket as the droplets trickled down her forehead all the way to her chin and hid the few stray tears that escaped her.
Her steps had been fast in desperation to get away. Her throat closed so tightly that she thought having someone choking her would be more bearable. Her heart beating so painfully, that maybe a bullet would've been more merciful.
She walked, and walked, and walked; her feet carrying her to school without realizing it. She was soaked when she stepped into her dorm, making puddles of water with each step she took. She remembers Enid talking, but the words were blurred.
Wednesday had made a beeline to the shower, turning it on with a temperature colder than the rain she had just escaped from.
Some say the second time around is more bearable. This certainly wasn't the case for her.
It was the day Wednesday put an end to whatever was happening between you and her. The day where she hated the most that she was forced to feel her own emotions.
The week that followed wasn't an improvement either.
Your words kept replaying in Wednesday's mind like a broken record; this is not a date, and please can we talk?
What would you have said, had she cared to listen?
Wednesday sat in front of her typewriter every day, staring at the blank paper and being unable to fill it. She'd hit a stump, because maybe she'd never know what you would have said.
You passed by each other in Nevermore's hallways as if you were just two strangers in the street, never to cross paths again. When you stood on one side of the bee keeper's shed, Wednesday stayed in the far opposite one, and if she so much as tried coming closer, you'd drop whatever it was you were doing and walk away. Even if Enid asked, you didn't come to her dorm anymore, prompting the werewolf to ask questions even though she could guess the answer.
Wednesday didn't know it was possible to miss someone this much. She caught herself tracing the lines of her own palm in a motion that was yours to make, brushing the corner of her lips in the place that was yours to kiss. And as much as she hated this feeling with all her might, hated you for forcing it into her, she couldn't chase it away.
It was so sadistically ironic that Wednesday kept you at arm's length in order to avoid attachment and loss, and that's exactly what she got. Maybe this is what Goody was trying to warn her about, that no matter the road she takes, the end will always be the same.
Today was a friday, ten days and four hours since the last time Wednesday spoke with you, since she replicated a damn drama cliche with her pitiful walk in the rain. Not that she was keeping count.
She sat at one of the tables on the quad, Enid at her side talking about something she wasn't listening to. The day was gray, morbidly so as the clouds loomed above, dark and cold in a way that Wednesday would've loved if it wasn't for you.
You who sat at the other end of the quad, putting as many tables and obnoxiously loud students between you and Wednesday as you could. You who looked so undeniably beautiful under the shadows. You who was smiling, happy as you laughed with your friends and spared no glances into the crowd to look for anyone.
Were you happier without her?
Wednesday sucked in a sharp breath at the mere thought of it, her lower lip quivering slightly as she exhaled, before she averted her eyes from you with a blink.
She turned to Enid only to find the girl's bright eyes already on her, a knowing smirk on her pink lips; "I won't even ask if you were listening."
"I got bored after the word shopping," Wednesday stated, raising an eyebrow that got Enid rolling her eyes.
"And because you were stalking our resident pretty girl," Enid teased, bumping Wednesday's shoulder with hers.
It was a truth that Wednesday countered with a lie; "I only stalk people who are hiding something or who have something I want, she doesn't fit on any of those."
Enid slumped on her seat, resting her head on her hands as she looked at Wednesday, "you can't keep doing this, Wednesday."
"Doing what?"
"Pretending like you don't care," Enid says then, with the frustration of someone who's just seen their favorite couple from a tv show hit another almost.
"Why would you assume the opposite?" Wednesday asks irritatedly.
Enid gives her best friend a look that could only be read as seriously? before she sits up straighter; "you two went from hanging out in the dorm for hours and sneaking out when you think no one's watching, to staying on different sides of the school and avoiding each other like the plague. Even you have to feel that change."
But I don't want to; Wednesday thinks to herself. Her only response is to look away.
With a sigh, Enid softens; "why won't you just tell her the truth?" She asks gently. The werewolf doesn't know the full story, and when her roommate ignores her questions and neither you nor Yoko will talk, gossip can only do so much; but even a blind person can see that whatever happened, hurt both of you.
Wednesday frowns; "what truth?"
"That you have feelings for her, silly. Like, genuinely more than friends feelings." There's an excited smile on Enid's lips as she says it, eyes glinting with the prospect of a love story.
"That's a horrible idea," Wednesday's face does something complicated, as if she's sorting on how to feel about this — or tasted something sour. "Besides, you know what happened the last time I did something remotely close to that."
And just like that, the muddy waters start to clear, the fog starts to dissipate and Enid understands what is happening — if just a little better.
The blonde reaches out a hand to Wednesday's forearm, squeezing softly; "Wednesday, this is Y/N we're talking about, she's not gonna turn into a murderous monster and break your heart."
Wednesday visibly gulps, her jaw painfully clenched as she felt uncharacteristically small under Enid's gaze.
"Plus I thought you'd be into the whole potential heartbreak thing." Enid teases, fighting back a grin, to which Wednesday can only mumble back;
"Not nearly as fun as I thought it'd be."
Switching her gaze between you and the raven-haired girl by her side, Enid hums; "want my advice?"
"No."
"I'd take my chances if I were you, because I know she genuinely cares about you. A lot."
There was something about the way Wednesday dropped her shoulders slightly, about the way she stole another glance at you as if you had just bought a one-way ticket to another country. It was that bittersweet feeling of a good thing that came to its end way too early.
Enid felt like crying.
"I'm afraid I'm too late, Enid."
It wasn't until dinner time — and after much, much insistence from Enid — that Wednesday decided to try and mend her mistake.
The cafeteria was already filled with students when she arrived, in true Nevermore fashion, the place was big and ancient; a meticulously decorated stone-walled room with tables and a kitchen area. Werewolves, Enid's brothers probably, were making a scene near the kitchen; there were gorgons and sirens playing a card game on one of the tables; and you sat with the vampires, with Yoko by your side no less.
Wednesday felt curious eyes on her, undoubtedly her peers wondering why she'd been staring unmoving for so long. A deep breath passed through her lips as she begrudgingly swallowed her pride and took the first step, her boots thudding against the stone floor.
With each of her steps, she repeated the words in her head; can we talk? Do you still wish to talk? Or would it be better, I need to talk with you?
Wednesday decides that fighting a murderous monster would be infinitely easier.
Your eyes locked in on her figure before she even reached you, and Wednesday smiled, a tiny tilt of lips that only you would notice; but you looked away from her before it happened.
Did people care about each other only because they enjoyed the pain that comes with it?
Something akin to panic fluttered inside Wednesday's stomach when you got up from your seat, reaching for your backpack and muttering a few goodbyes to your friends as you walked between the tables. The Addams girl quickened her steps, almost bumping into Bianca and not bothering to turn around when the siren called her out on it.
Wednesday just about managed to stop in front of you before you left for the doors.
Is this what you felt on that day?
Your eyes closed with a sigh, your hands were buried deep in your pockets and there was a rigidness to your shoulders. You were nervous, and even if it wasn't the right time, Wednesday was proud of herself for knowing it.
But having you this close again after so long — not really, ten days aren't that long, yet Wednesday hates that it felt like ages — has its downsides.
Wednesday couldn't speak. The only thing she needed to do, and her words are stuck. Feelings are a pain in the ass to deal with.
Yoko stood by your side, arms crossed over her chest; "do you have anything to say or what?"
She's protective, Wednesday doesn't blame her for it anymore.
Yes, she should say. There's a glint of hope in your eyes when you look at her; Wednesday finds herself wanting to reach out, but she's not sure she's allowed to anymore. She wonders if you missed her as much as she misses you.
"No," is what she says, and it's quite painful.
It's well into the night when Wednesday makes her way back to her dorm, the stairs creaking under her boots, a half-moon shining high on the sky being the only source of light.
her insides are twisting with a mix of rage, frustration, self-pity, and something else that's just heavy.
She pushed open the door to her dorm only to find it empty. Enid's bed is unmade and Wednesday's typewriter still has a blank page on it.
Enid had texted Wednesday earlier, something about going out with Ajax and not coming back too soon. The solitude was well appreciated, it gave the Addams girl some much-needed peace to work on her novel. The only problem is that her mind was nowhere near peaceful.
The first thing that caught Wednesday's attention after she walked in was the potted cactus by her window, it looked a little sad, its soil all dry and the color not as green as it should be. Wednesday didn't think twice as she walked to her bathroom, filling a cup with water and gently emptying it into the plant's pot. At least of that part of you, she'd take good care of.
She took off her hoodie next, throwing it on top of her bed. It was pathetic that the simple action got her thinking of you too, of when you'd lounge on there talking nonsense with Thing while she wrote.
How could one person hold so much power over another was beyond Wednesday, especially because she didn't allow it; it just happened. It happened that she kissed you out of impulse, just because she couldn't die without knowing what your lips felt like; or that she kept calling on you more and more after that, feeling a hole in her chest whenever you were away for too long.
It just happened that she fell for you, and maybe it was inevitable, maybe you'd be her doom. But it was her choice to push you away, and she'd be lying if she said it wasn't the one thing she regretted the most.
There was a knock on Wednesday's door that snapped her mind back to reality. She turned around, frowning as she stared at the dark wooden thing, wondering who would seek her out this late in the night.
Honestly? Wednesday should've seen it coming as soon as Enid suggested she should talk with you. She should've known.
She swung open the door only to reveal you on the other side, in plaid pajama pants and a white shirt, hugging yourself because of the coldness of the empty hallways.
Your posture went rigid as soon as your eyes found Wednesday's, it got her wondering if you forgot this was her dorm, if you knocked on the wrong door by accident.
"Hello," Wednesday said as she looked at you, features impassive, her hand tightening around the door handle until her knuckles turned white.
You ran your tongue over your bottom lip before you spoke; "Enid texted me, said you needed help with something. That it was an emergency," you gulped, diving into over-explanation, "and that she wasn't here, so she asked if I could…" You trailed off, your fingers nervously tapping your arm.
Oh. Maybe her roommate wasn't too far off when she said you cared. It was rare the times where anyone would be able to easily read Wednesday's emotions. This was one of them and it wasn't a surprise that you were the cause.
There was a glint to Wednesday's eyes that belonged to you, her features softened in a blink — no more creases to her eyebrows and lips parting in vain when her words got tangled on her tongue — it was the calmness after a raging storm.
Wednesday used to mock the people who spoke about soulmates, about the invisible red string that few ones were lucky enough to find the other end of. But could there ever be any other explanation for the way you set her at ease?
She nodded once, stepping aside so you could walk in.
You were hesitant in the way you did so, as if you didn't belong, and Wednesday hated it — because you did belong, right here by her side. You stood in the middle of her dorm, right between the division of colors to blankness on the round window.
The air felt electric around you. Wednesday chanced a step closer, her gaze casting over every twitch of your expressions; "I do," she started, and a beat passed as she refused to take the last chance to back down and let you go, "I do have something to say."
You scoffed, "that doesn't sound like an emergency," but there was no bite to your tone, almost as if you wanted her to object.
"It is," Wednesday told you, allowing the affection she held for you to drip from every syllable. One more chance, that's all she needed, and maybe she’d tell you just what it is that you do to her.
"Okay."
You had a kindness to you that she was underserving of, Wednesday thought. But maybe she could work her way to it. She raised her chin, striving to keep her heartbeat in check; "I wasn't completely fair last time we spoke, I'll measure my words better if you're willing to talk to me again."
Wednesday said the words as if they were the particularities of a contract, and not an apology to someone who held her cold heart in their hands. She realized it was the wrong thing to say as soon as your features fell.
You took on the glow of the moon effortlessly as it came through the window, it framed the lines of your jaw and cheekbone, all delicate and pretty. You ducked your head, allowing your hair to partially cover your eyes as you nodded a few times. "Great," you mumbled, before taking a few quick steps with intent to go around Wednesday and back to the lonely hallways.
She didn't let you, her cold hand closed around your own as you made to walk past her, keeping you in place in a gesture that surprised both of you.
Having your skin against hers again made Wednesday feel like coming home after a long journey. It's strange that that's what you became to her.
The hold she had on you wasn't strong, you could easily pull your hand away and leave. But you didn't.
"It was unfair of me," Wednesday started, each word tighter than the next as she forced them out. More than anything, Wednesday despised talking about her feelings, but words are all she has now, "the mistake was mine and I will accept the consequences for it. But you should have all cards on the table when making your judgment."
If there was a heaven, you already had your place on it — you turned back around to face Wednesday properly, and without letting go of her hand, you adjusted your hold so that your fingers could intertwine; your thumb tracing random patterns on her skin in a motion that you knew calmed her down. Because you knew how hard this was for her — Wednesday was sure you were an angel in your past life.
The dorm room had never felt this detached from the outside world, as it does now, holding this one moment for you and Wednesday alone.
For a split second, where she allowed herself the luxury of only existing in your presence, Wednesday wondered if this is what real love felt like. She took in a deep breath, feeling your perfume as she did so before focusing her gaze on your joined hands; they fit well together.
"I used to ask myself why I was the one who kissed you first that day." Wednesday hesitated, nagging on the inside of her cheek with her teeth, "and I realized that it's because you make me feel something I never- hardly ever feel when around other people."
Her eyes glanced up at you in a lazy motion, only to find that your eyes never left her once. There was a soft smile on your lips, overflowing adoration. Wednesday was sometimes envious of the way you wore your heart on your sleeve so effortlessly.
"It's an annoying feeling really," the raven-haired girl admitted, raising an eyebrow at you, "I wanted to rip it away from me the first time it happened." Her lips hovered open as she heard her own heartbeat, thunderous as ever, "but the one that came in your absence was much worse."
The passage of time felt equally too slow and too fast. You weren't doing anything. Did she do something wrong?
Wednesday tensed when, carefully, you raised a hand to her face. You were tender in the way that you pushed the black strands of hair behind Wednesday's ear, your fingertips lingering and tracing her cheek before you dropped your hand. As if you'd missed touching her too.
And oh you did, if Wednesday knew just how much, she'd probably be all over you already. "I feel it too," you whispered, a secret confession only for her to hear.
"I know we never talked about what we were, and I'm not asking you to," you spoke calmly, "but you really hurt me, Wednesday, at the very least I thought we were friends."
What if I'd like us to be more? What would you say, is that something you'd ever want too?
Before Wednesday could ask any of the questions she was dying to know the answer to, you asked yours first;
"Did you mean that? What you said?"
And the Addams girl figured that this was a more pressing matter anyway.
Wednesday shook her head with urgency, her hand squeezing yours to keep you in place, "it could never be true." She took a step closer, her boots bumping your sneakers, "hurting you, it's the last thing I'd ever want to do, and I apologize that it happened."
The raw honesty of Wednesday's tone was all you needed to hear to let go of her hand in order to cup her cheeks, pulling her into a kiss that spoke more than any of you ever could.
Wednesday grasped onto your waist almost desperately, her hands bunching up your shirt as she glued your body to hers in a nearly bruising grip, dying to feel the most of you that she could manage. She pressed herself into you, her nose brushing your cheek as her soft lips molded with yours; telling you she'd never miss anyone as much as she misses you, that she'd never feel so strongly for someone as she does for you; that she'd have you until death's cold embrace took her.
Your hands traveled from her jaw to the back of her neck, fingers mingling with the wisps of hair there. You pressed your lips to each corner of her mouth, bumping your noses as you did so, leaving testimonies of your affection each time your upper lip grazed hers; letting her know that she'd ruined anyone else to you, that you'd never feel for someone else, what you feel for her.
Wednesday pulled back just enough to be able to breathe, her forehead brushing yours as you felt more than heard the shape of her words; "let me make it up to you… Please."
You chuckled, tracing the outline of her lower lip with your thumb. It was reddish and just a little swollen, warm to the touch and it was your fault.
It got you smiling, because you could also feel her own smile under your digit; "gladly."

Dying.
That's what you feel like doing right now.
A lame-ass guy is sitting on what would usually be Wednesday's seat at Weathervane's sofa booth. And what makes it even worse? He's talking- no, flirting with you, you're pretty sure, and your apparently not-girlfriend is not here to save you.
Your mind travels back to the implausible turn of events unfolding earlier that evening as you sip your coffee and nod your head, smiling politely at the man's poor attempt at a joke.
"What. The. Actual. Friggin. Sheet. IS HAPPENING HERE?"
You quickly push yourself off Wednesday when the blonde's booming voice rings through the entire dormitory to hear.
"I believe you have eyes to see what had happened, Enid." Wednesday's tone sounds calm and collected—like she hasn't just taken all the air out of your lungs from the intensity of her kiss—and you can practically hear her best friend who had witnessed everything squeal and jump in excitement; hardwood floor squeaking in her wake.
"Oh my god, tell me everything!" Enid ran and sprawled her figure across your bed as she continued, "I know you guys have like a thing going on, but I didn't expect it to go so far as to flash me with a passionate make-out session," and you can hear the mix of curiosity and nausea etched in her voice.
You groan as you bury your head in your arms, face heating up because suddenly the room feels abnormally hot.
"She humiliated me with compliments a few days ago," Wednesday answers the werewolf's request, "in front of everybody else unfortunate enough to be at an earshot distance from us—which wouldn't be too hard with the incessantly loud voice—so I had to make sure payback hurts."
"Like a bitch?" Enid wiggles her eyebrows, voice teasing.
"Sure," Wednesday replies flatly.
You raise your head to look at the raven-haired girl, face grimacing in betrayal. "That's it? That's why you agreed to make-out with me? To get back at me?" your breathing quickens as you process Wednesday's words.
"How far did you plan all this? Is that why you even proposed this whole study date thing?"
"Precisely."
You widen your eyes at Wednesday's reply, and at that moment, you want nothing more than to sink into the bottom of the ocean; that way, you at least wouldn't have to deal with the embarrassment of even being in the same room with her.
And Enid. Oh god, Enid knows. She'd seen the whole thing, and you're sure everyone else in this academy would know all the deeds by tomorrow morning.
A meek "...why?" is all you can let out, heart beating wildly against your chest as you feel like you're about to explode.
"Because I didn't come here to lose," came Wednesday's reply, and you were about to complain before she added the sentence that would be the bane of your existence, "and this isn't a date."
"What?" you snapped your head in Wednesday's direction, sitting straighter in your seat.
"This isn't a date," Wednesday said impassively, "I simply executed my fool-proof strategy, and it was a resounding success."
"But you are dating, right?" Enid finally cuts in. There's a direness in her voice as you see one of her eyebrows raised in half-concern.
You scoffed at the werewolf's silly question. "Of course, we are-"
"No. We aren't," Wednesday cuts in.
Your mouth gaped at the absurdity of her words.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, what do you mean you're not dating each other?" Enid jumped off the bed and grabbed Wednesday by the shoulders, face contorting in shock.
"Yeah, what do you mean we're not dating?" Your voice raised as you spoke, "You just shoved your tongue down my throat like 5 minutes ago- Don't you dare say we're not dating-"
The aggression and frustration are evident in your voice, and even the densest person on the planet would recognize the scrunched-up, hurt look on your face. Is Wednesday gaslighting you?
"As I said. We're not dating. I just put my strategy-
"-into action? Yeah, is that what you wanted to say? Is that it? Am I just a pawn on your chessboard? Some amusing game you play when you get bored?"
You stood up as you choked out your next words, "What even is all this, Wens? Am I just a joke to you? I know that we never made it official or something like that, but I thought we had something going on. Something special, even."
You held back a tear as you waited for Wednesday's response. There came none. She only sits there with her jaw clenched, as if you're being childish and acting pathetic.
"But I guess we're nothing special, huh?" your inquiry fell on deaf ears, "Heck, there wasn't even a 'we' to begin with."
You bitterly chuckled as you tore your eyes away, catching a glimpse of Enid's sorry face. Quickly grabbing your stuff from the desk, you turned your back away from the two best friends and walked to your door, only stopping briefly to mutter a quick "See you around, Addams," before slamming the door after you.
And just like that, you were alone once again.
"-your number?" You snap back into reality at the sudden raising in the voice of the man talking to you. You look down to hide your exasperated look and take a deep breath before asking him to repeat his question.
"Yeah, can I get your number? I think you're cute and I'd love to get to know you," the stranger says as he leans forward in your direction; eyes looking expectantly at you.
You sigh. You haven't even responded to a single thing the guy has said in the past 15 minutes; your mind is too busy sulking at the sour memory.
Is this what you look like all the time you've spent with Wednesday? Maybe this is what it feels like for her; uninterested and slightly annoyed that you haven't gotten the hint and back off.
You take another sip of your coffee.
It tastes bitter.
Grabbing a tissue paper and a pen from your coat, you write a string of random numbers to get him off your back.
What you had missed was the ice-cold stare of a familiar figure watching your every movement intently the entire time. You also missed the doorbell brutishly chiming when you handed the tissue paper to the man.
Next thing you know, your hand is yanked until you're forced to stand up from the sofa booth, a possessive arm snaking around the side of your waist, pulling your bodies flush together.
You don't have to look over to see who the intruder is; the familiar cold fingers on your skin and the seething rage emitting from the person beside you give away the identity.
At that moment, you only had one thought in your mind;
Wednesday Friday Addams is a frickin' menace.

Author's note: I'm sorry for my lame ass titels, but it's just so hard to come up with a good one haha
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When the fact about you and Wednesday dating became known, people started asking you questions like: "What do you like about her?" "How long have you been dating?" and so on and so on.
Great question actually, what do you like about her?
You adored every single part of her, even her more murderous side. The way her dark eyes traveled over your figure whenever you approached her flustered you.
And her looks sure are pleasing to the eyes. You could stare at her for eternity - quite literally in this situation.
The list goes on and on and on. After thinking about all the things you liked about her, you also wondered what she liked about you.
Wednesday was fond of not only your personality but also of some of your attributes that came with being a vampire.
Whenever you sit together during lunch she watches you like a hawk.
While you're happily talking about how you almost fell down the stairs that day she listened but mainly stared at her favorite thing about your looks.
Your fangs.
Of course, every vampire had fangs but yours stuck out to her. They reminded her of her extensive collection of knives back at her house. She wondered how sharp they were and if you would be able to bite through bone or not.
She was like an eager scientist that wanted to know absolutely everything about a certain subject.
You - being the dense vampire you are - didn't even realize her secret obsession with your fangs.
"I was literally about to slip, but I think god wanted to gift me because I was just able to grab onto the railing!" You were still pumped with adrenaline because of your most recent experience.
"I saw my life flash before my eyes, and I'm immortal! So you get what I'm trying to say, right." You stopped your silly rant and looked at Wednesday who was sitting in front of you.
She was staring at your face the whole time and you just noticed. "Is there something between my teeth?" You showed her your teeth and expected an answer, but it never came.
"Hellooooo?" You waved your hand in front of her face and that seemed to do the trick. "Sadly, you didn't fall down the stairs. I would have paid money to see that."
She got up from her seat and turned to leave, "I'll be in my dorm."
You looked at Thing, "Is it something I said?" Thing only shrugged in response before following after Wednesday.
You knew your girlfriend wasn't mad at you, but she must have something on her mind. You shook your head and decided to visit her in her room after finishing your food.
While eating you repeated everything you said over and over again in your head. Oh, how this girl could make you feel with one single action.
You were taking your leave when Yoko suddenly approached you from behind. "How are you doing these days, Y/n? You haven't been sitting with us these past few days, already replaced us?" Yoko chuckled and playfully shoved you.
You grinned and pushed her back, "Of course not! friends for eternity right?" You gave her a fake suspicious look. You were only able to hold that face for 2 seconds before bursting out in laughter, dragging Yoko with you to the depths of endless laughter.
"Don't worry, I'll sit with yall tomorrow. See ya!" You shouted and entered the building on your way to Wednesday's shared room.
You knew she would be alone in there because you saw Enid being all lovey-dovey with Ajax.
You knocked on the door and let yourself in. "Hey." You greeted her, but she didn't reply since she was rapidly ticking away on her typewriter.
You smiled at the sight and went to go sit on Wednesday's bed. "I'll be done in 30 minutes." You nodded and leaned your back against the headboard.
You watched Wednesday for a bit and before you knew it, you had fallen asleep. Your soft snores didn't make Wednesday falter from her novel, but something else sure did.
You were sleeping with your mouth slightly open and part of your fangs stuck out. Although Wednesday was hesitant she didn't want to waste this opportunity.
This went against everything she stood for - but technically dating you was also against her book so it didn't matter anymore.
She stalked up to you silently and sat on the bed next to where you were laying. She stared at you for a good minute before lifting her index finger and placing it on your lip.
She lifted your lip a bit, revealing your fang. With her index finger from her other hand, she kept bringing it closer until it was hovering right above your pearly white fang.
Who knew Wednesday could make such a stupid mistake? She touched the tip of your fang - in her defense, she didn't expect it to be so sharp.
Small drops of blood dripped from her finger and landed on your face. The smell of blood nearby woke you up. Wednesday didn't even have enough time to hide what had just happened.
You gave Wednesday a puzzled look, but you connected the dots when you saw blood on her finger and tasted blood when you licked your fang.
"I didn't expect it to be so honed." Wednesday deadpanned dryly. You gave her a fake offended look - deep on the inside you were a tiny bit offended.
"Oh yeah? Why don't we test what sorts of things I can bite through." You gave her a smug look, showing off your sharp-edged canines.
You thought it was best to just dismiss this whole situation. I mean, it's Wednesday, what did you expect?
"That's a wonderful proposition." She got up and walked toward the door, "Well? I already have lots of ideas." She trekked through the door.
"What have I gotten myself into?" You sighed as you begrudgingly went after her to god knows where.

Mine (part 2)
(Wednesday Addams x fem! reader)
Tumblr media
Summary: Your girlfriend's stalker seems to know a lot about your breakup with Enid... Part 1 || Part 2 Warnings: none a/n: I struggle writing lately, but I'll try to motivate myself more because I have so many ideas 😭 (English isn't my first language, I'm sorry if there are mistakes or if something doesn't make sense TvT)
A few months after you started dating Wednesday, you discovered your girlfriend had a stalker. Neither of you had an idea of who it could be, but one thing was clear: this person was up to no good.
The raven had already been threatened multiple times by her stalker but didn't pay any attention to it, thinking it was just a prank. It was only when her stalker started threatening to hurt you that she started to be worried.
You were her whole life, her reason to live. She couldn't lose you; she wouldn't know what to do without you. Now that she had you, she was ready to do everything in her power to make sure you would remain hers. Forever.
Her only problem was she didn't know who the stalker was. Usually, she would have just investigated to figure it out, but she couldn't bring you with her, knowing it might be dangerous. She also couldn't let you alone while she was away, that would give the stalker a good opportunity to hurt you.
In this moment, she almost regretted you had no friends anymore. Almost. She still believed she was all you needed.
When she had to leave you, even for a short amount of time, she would ask Thing to stay and keep an eye on you, to make sure you were safe.
What she didn't know was that the stalker -whoever it was- had no intention to harm you. Not physically at least. Of course not. Even if you were to die, the pain caused to Wednesday wouldn't be enough. She had to suffer. And they had found the perfect way to do so.
One day when Weems had called Wednesday in her office, you received a text from an unknown number.
'Your girlfriend is a toxic, manipulative liar. Here are the 'proofs' of Enid cheating on you. It's Wednesday who edited the pictures and sent them to you.'
You couldn't believe your eyes. Even with the screenshots sent by the stalker -because it was obviously them- you couldn't believe it. You didn't want to.
You decided to wait until your girlfriend got back from Weems' office and confront her.
"I'm back my love, did something happen while I was gone?" she asked right away, as per usual, the second she stepped into the room
"Actually... yes, something happened. I uh... I received a text, probably from the stalker"
Wednesday snapped her head at you the moment she heard the 'yes', blinking.
"What? Show me."
You purposefully held the phone away from her.
"Answer me first; were you the one who sent me the pictures of Enid 'cheating on me'?" you asked as calmly as you could
She certainly was taken aback by your sudden question, and it was clear she was thinking of the best answer to give you.
She could lie to you, tell you she didn’t do anything. But if you had real evidence, you would hate her if she lied. More than you would hate her if you knew what she’d done.
She was going to have to tell you the truth, it was the best thing to do to make sure she wouldn’t lose you.
"Yes. It was me."
You felt your heart sink at her words. You would've never thought she would do something like that.
"... Why?"
"It was for your own good, Y/n, I-"
"For my own good? You hurt me for my own good?" you cut her off, your anger building up "You ruined a perfectly good and healthy relationship that made me happy!"
"She wouldn't have made you happy a long time. You were not meant to be. I know I am the one for you. Aren't you more happy with me, cara mia?"
She spoke calmy and took your hand in hers softly. This simple touch was almost enough to calm you down.
"I am. But this... this is not healthy. Everything is based on a lie..."
"I did it for you. For us."
"No. No. You did it for you."
The anger was back, and made you snatch your hand away from hers before continuing.
"It was never about me. You just couldn't bear to see me with someone else. You had to have me all for yourself, didn't you? No matter how that would hurt me."
"No, that is not-"
"It is. It's exactly what it is. You're just selfish, Wednesday. Did you ever even considered the fact that I might not develop feelings for you? That you might have ruined my life?"
She did not consider it, not even once. She was sure you would love her because you were meant to be, weren't you? She could feel it. She couldn't explain it, but she knew you were made for her and vice versa.
She believed you were her soulmate, but she never realized she might not be yours. That would be cruel. And not how she liked it.
"Y/n-"
"No." you raised your hand and grabbed your bag "I'm going to my dorm. Don't follow me."
You didn't let her say anything else and stormed out of her room. You were angry and felt betrayed. You just wanted to be alone.
Wednesday watched you leave, her stomach twisted uncomfortably. She wanted to follow you, to call you back, to do anything to make sure she wasn't losing you. But you told her not to, and it would upset you more if she did.
She couldn't lose you. Not now, not after everything she'd done. You loved her, she knew it. Yet, she couldn't help but feel nervous. What if you went to Enid? What if she still loved you and tried to get you back?
She didn't have news of you for the next two days. You were doing your best to avoid her, and she didn't like it. It was torture -and not the good kind.
It was torture for you too, as much as you hated to admit it. You missed her so much. It was almost concerning how fast she got you addicted to her. You wanted to come back to her, hug her, kiss her... But you were mad she lied to you. And you wanted her to understand that.
But again, you missed her. So so much. You had trouble sleeping at night without her, and during the day you just missed her sarcastic remarks, the feeling of her hand in yours, the way she looks at you like you're the eighth wonder of the world.
You just couldn't stay away from her any longer.
You barged in her dorm after classes that day and grabbed her face to kiss her, not even letting her the time to understand what was happening.
She was taken aback by your sudden arrival after three days without even looking at her, but that meant you weren't leaving her, and that was the most important to her.
She held you close, hands on your waist, while she kissed you back. She'd missed that as much as you did.
After a moment, you pulled away.
"I'm still mad at you. But I just can't seem to be without you..."
"Cara mia-"
"No, let me talk, please"
Your girlfriend looked at you and nodded, a bit nervous about what you were about to say next.
"No more lies, and no more things like that, okay?"
"Of course, mi amor. I promise you I will be fully transparent now."
You smile at her words.
"Okay, I believe you. I love you Wednesday"
She nodded at your answer. She was relieved that you believed her, that you still loved her.
If she was determined to discover who her stalker was before, now she was ready to do everything in her power to figure it out. Whoever it was, they tried to take you away from her. And that she would not forgive.

Part 10
⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷†⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷
"This is really unnecessary."
"Don't move," Enid stops painting your nails for half a second to give you a look before resuming. "And don't blame me. Wednesday's the one who's all paranoid about leaving you alone."
You give a nervous chuckle.
You've only started returning to class recently after reviewing all the notes Wednesday took for you. You were lucky enough to be either given an extension on assignments you missed or given a pass since you were a stellar student.
Things are slowly returning back to normal. There had been plenty of gossip about Henry's expulsion. Of course, given his family's status, bail was posted, which his father immediately paid so his son could be locked in his own home. There won't be a trial as Weems was very firm about what would happen if Morrison Sr didn't work to take a plea bargain.
It was only two weeks in that Wednesday declared you were to meet her this Saturday at 7PM sharp, and if you were even half a second late...there would be consequences. You smiled at Wednesday, kissing her cheek at the time, thinking her antics were cute.
But unfortunately, with Saturday here, you find yourself unable to have a moment alone. Enid has been with you all morning, not letting you out of her sight for even a second. Not even when you went to the washroom.
"Are you sure you don't have anything better to do? I thought you were also supposed to be having a date with Ajax today. I'm just going to hang out here," you offer Enid. It's rare to see her without Yoko or Ajax.
Enid sighs. "No, it's fine. Ajax's been busy lately." Enid gives you a look, a quirk on her brow. "And you hanging out alone was why you got fairy-napped last time. Wednesday will erase my existence from this universe if I leave you alone here, even if it's in our room."
You can hear the forlorn dejection in Enid's sigh, and you look at her curiously. "Are things not going well with Ajax? I thought things were going well just a few weeks ago."
Enid scrunches her nose, seemingly trying to focus on painting your pinky nail. It's silent initially as the normally exuberant werewolf gathers her thoughts.
"It's not..." Enid sighs with mild frustration, letting out a puff of breath. "It's not that it's not going well. It just feels like we're...drifting. Ajax has his friend group and after-school activities, and so do I. All we seem to do when we hang out is make out, which, don't get me wrong, was awesome at first. But now..." Enid's voice drifts at the end.
"It's not enough?" You offer, and Enid reluctantly nods.
"Why don't you ask him on a date?" You suggest curiously. Enid was so outgoing; you couldn't imagine her not asking someone out if she wanted to.
Enid purses her lips. "Well, the thing is...I feel like I was the first to tell him I was interested and basically hinted he needed to ask me out on a date. I just want him to, like, take the initiative for once."
"I see," you hum, mulling over the blonde's answer. "Then, will you break up?"
"You ask really hard questions," Enid groans, gently setting your hand down now that she's finished painting your nails.
You study them, admiring the black nail polish with a white accent on your ring fingers. On the white nail, Enid had drawn nail art of wings in black. It was simple, yet you found yourself feeling joyful.
"Thanks, Enid," you smile at her, and Enid beams at you back.
"To answer your question," Enid puts away the nail polish and adjusts herself to sit more comfortably while you're careful not to smudge your nails. "No, I'm not going to break up with him. I just...I guess I'll need to talk to him first."
"Very wise."
Enid pinches your sides, which causes you to yelp in surprise. "Alright, miss bliss, I get you're on cloud nine with your relationship." She gives you a warning look. "Don't tell Wednesday."
"You don't want your boyfriend to become roadkill?"
"Where would Wednesday get a car?"
"I'm sure my girlfriend will be the first person to use a Poe Cup boat to turn someone into roadkill."
Enid gags a little, dramatically throwing herself back onto her bed. "I think I'd rather her just nailgun his heart..."
⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷†⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷
Wednesday stares at the space before her in deep, analytical thought. She plans to recreate what she's done the evening the date was originally supposed to happen had you not been taken.
Only this time, Wednesday was planning to have the date in your room instead of hers and Enid's. There was a particular appeal about having the space and time alone with you, uninterrupted by the possibility of Enid returning to their shared room early for whatever reason.
Wednesday has noticed that her roommate spends less time with her boyfriend. But since she had no desire to get into that conversation about Enid's feelings unless there was a reason to murder, Wednesday wasn't going to bring it up.
Wednesday feels a tap on her ankle, and she looks down to see Thing pointing at the small gap between the end of your bed and the wall.
"Good idea, Thing," Wednesday praises as she lifts the screen projector and angles it so that it will fit between the spaces.
Your wings were still healing, and Wednesday considered the fact that having the space for you to lie around with your wings out would be beneficial.
Honestly, it would've been better to utilize your studio space, but you've been weirdly insistent about being holed up in your room as of late. A part of Wednesday wonders if it's because you're reluctant to return to your space that no longer feels safe.
The thought of it has Wednesday gripping the pole of the projector tightly, wishing she had done more than gouge out Henry's eyes. She should've taken out his tongue and his thumbs as well. Wednesday feels regretful.
"Thing, did you get the lights?"
Thing scuddles to the corner of the room before he starts dragging out a plastic bag.
"And where did you get it?"
There are some hand gestures, and Wednesday scoffs. "Of course, Xavier would have them. Grab the tape and we'll start hanging these up."
While Thing is busy, Wednesday mulls over what's been nagging at her for the past half hour.
It's not that Wednesday feels fear. No, fear is irrational, and it was definitely irrational to dread not knowing your whereabouts when she knew Enid was with you.
Still, Wednesday pulls the phone out of her pocket, glaring at the stupid device. She sees that she has multiple texts from Eugene and Xavier that she ignores before she shoots you a text.
Immediately, there's a buzz from under your pillow.
Wednesday promptly walks over and sticks her hand under your pillow, swiping until she hits something solid. When she retracts her hand, she finds your phone in it. Her eye momentarily twitches as she lets out a deep, annoyed sigh from her nose.
Wednesday shoots another text from her phone, and the reply is prompt.

"OMG, I can't wait for you two to get on with your date," Enid groans, tossing her phone further down the bed.
You turn your attention away from Enid's laptop screen. Enid says that if Wednesday was culturing you on murder-y films and documentaries, she would catch you up on pop culture. Hence, you were currently watching Mean Girls with a deep interest.
"What's wrong?" You ask Enid, eyeing her phone that seemed to buzz every fifteen minutes for the last hour.
"What's wrong is that your girlfriend is psychotically paranoid that I can't keep you safe and you've forgotten your own phone back in your own room!" Enid grabs a pillow and smushes it against her face. "This is why having a phone is important! But I almost want to kill Xavier for getting Wednesday one. Only she would be able to find a way to torture me with my beloved technology."
You give Enid an amused look, reaching to grab her phone. You swipe at the notification, but the passcode screen comes up.
"1031, it's when Yoko and I became friends," Enid's answer was muffled by her pillow.
You merely raise your brow at the information but enter the passcode.
The text you see...baffle you.
Tumblr media
You can't help but slightly laugh while Enid glares at you, tossing a pillow at you but carefully ensuring it isn't too rough.
"Laugh all you want, but I have half a mind to make you late for your date tonight. See how funny you think it is when Wednesday chains you to her for the rest of your life. Think how easy it will be to go to the bathroom in that situation."
You stop laughing.

6:50PM.
Wednesday carefully checks over her preparations for the last time. The food was hot, the movie marathon was set up, and Wednesday turned on the fairy lights while Thing turned off the ceiling light.
Wednesday opens your window slightly, knowing you like a light breeze before she lit the candles she placed around your room.
The time grows closer, and Wednesday feels antsy as she thrums her fingers against your desk.
Wednesday has to refrain from texting Enid again. She admits she enjoyed torturing Enid with her timely texts, but eventually, her roommate put her foot down and told Wednesday she would text if there were any issues and then stopped replying.
This was why phones were so unreliable.
"Thing—" Wednesday starts to say, but the disembodied hand is already scuttling off to go grab you. She sighs and relents that she was just ensuring you would arrive in a timely manner—a minute earlier even.
Wednesday waits near the door with her arms crossed over her chest. Minutes pass, but soon, she can hear multiple footsteps. She hears your soft and melodic voice, and the tension in her shoulders seeps out.
How annoying.
But when your face is the first thing Wednesday sees at the door, she feels like she can exhale. It's like the satisfying feeling of executing a well-planned strategy, and it might as well have been to make sure you got here.
"Hi, Wednesday," you greet her with a smile on your lips, clearly happy to see her.
Wednesday nods, but then Enid's face pops up in front of yours, grinning all wide and excited.
"O-M-G!" Enid squeals. "I still can't believe you planned all this even though it's the second time I'm seeing this. I'm so proud of you, Wednesday!"
"Thanks," Wednesday deadpans. "Now, leave."
Enid scrunches her nose at her roommate, making a disapproving click of her tongue. "You're welcome for playing watchdog today, BTW. You owe me, Addams."
"And I'm sure you will come to collect, but not today," Wednesday grabs your wrist and pulls you into the room. "Bye." Wednesday shuts the door.
You adjust Wednesday's grip on your wrist, letting your fingers trail along the inside of hers before they fall together like puzzle pieces, slotting together perfectly.
Wednesday turns to look at you, her face blank, but the way her long lashes kiss her eyelids as she blinks enthralls you. The way her eyes trail your form, taking in every last bit, makes you smile.
"I made it in one piece, see?"
"Debatable."
You chuckle, looking around your room, feeling something settle inside you at the obvious amount of effort Wednesday put in.
Turning back to your girlfriend, you notice that Wednesday seems tense, and you realize she's waiting for you to say something. You squeeze her hand.
You lean close to her, biting your bottom lip at the way Wednesday tilts her face toward you.
"You're so dreadful," you mutter, wanting to compliment her in a way she would find flattering, and you think you saw the corner of Wednesday's lip twitch upward.
"Flattery will get you nowhere," Wednesday raises her brow at you.
"Oh, I don't know," you smirk. "No harm in trying."
You're just about to kiss her when you see something from the corner of your eye. You smelled it when you walked into the room, and it smelled delicious, but you had been distracted.
But now...
You stand straighter to look. "Is that a makeshift stove on my desk?"
"We will be having sea witch paella."
You smile but then notice something missing from your desk. You turn to Wednesday with a raised brow.
"And why did you use my picture with Bianca as kindling?"
⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷†⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷
"I'm surprised you went with this movie choice."
Wednesday sighs, partly in revulsion at the screen. You were lying on your stomach in bed, your wings out and Wednesday massaging medicine into it as you went back for seconds on the paella. It's gone late into the night, and the two of you have binged through several movies.
"Xavier was adamant that we watch the movies as the 6th one came out and they'll eventually try to ambush us into a movie night with them."
"I mean, it's kind of fascinating, don't you think?" You tilt your head at the screen just as someone is getting stabbed.
"Fascinating in the sense that it's painful to watch everyone in this franchise be so incompetent," Wednesday counters, but then smiles. "But it's amusing.
You laugh as Wednesday finishes working on your wings and sit up, placing your empty bowl on the coffee table. "Well, I do suppose if we were in Scream—not as supernatural beings, mind you—Ghostface wouldn't stand a chance against you. Unless you were Ghostface, then maybe it'd be a different story."
"Please," Wednesday scoffs. "If this amateur can kill this many people, it'd be dreadfully boring for me."
"Oh?" you grin at her. "So, you'd rather be one of the good guys?"
Wednesday's expression quickly morphs into disgust and disbelief that you'd insult her like that.
You laugh again but shake your head. "I would hope you'd stop Ghostface because I would definitely die."
"You're that pathetic that you'd let some fool kill you?" Wednesday shook her head. "You might as well let me end your misery then."
"I will be honest," you nudge Wednesday's shoulder, moving your arm to loop through hers as you pull her close. "I'm unfortunately nearly useless without my wings and powers, as I've never known otherwise. I can't imagine I'd do well as a normie if someone tried to kill me."
Wednesday is silent, seemingly in deep thought about your words.
You hum. "But maybe I'll be like Tara, which is funny because she kind of looks like you."
"Who?"
You chuckle, nudging your head towards the screen. "The girl that got stabbed in the beginning and is fighting for her life in the hospital right now."
"She's not awful," Wednesday concedes. "Whimpering and feeble, but I suppose she survived."
You were starting to lose interest in the movie, but in all fairness, you've sat through four movies in a row. You begin to lean over Wednesday, hovering over her as you trap her between your bed and arms. Your wings hide her from the world, and despite Wednesday having a neutral expression, you have a glint in your eye at the way she has her hands on your waist.
"Well, quite honestly, I'm not that worried. Ghostface should be smart enough to not mess with Wednesday Addams' girlfriend. What do you think?" You grin at her, and Wednesday looks annoyed that you seem to be gloating but also is begrudgingly in agreement.
Wednesday rolls her eyes before she slides one hand behind your neck and pulls you closer until your lips just brush over hers. There's the sound of screams and stabbing noises in the background, and Wednesday can't think of anything more romantic to set the mood.
"Correct. I'll kill anyone who even thinks of touching a single hair on your head."

Wait
Addition to the blanket au
What if
The nightshades are aware that Wednesday is dating someone? The bruises that line her throat is obvious and it wasn't like Wednesday was trying to hide it.
Even when asked, Wednesday didn't blink. "yes, I do have a paramour."
It makes them think at times, what kind of person is Wednesday Addams dating?
A serial killer? One offers and the others ooo's and aaa's in agreement before hoping that wasn't the case
A mobster! Another says and yoko thinks of someone with tattoos immediately. It could be her thing
Arranged marriage? Someone conspiring whispers. It got shot down real quick because wednesday didn't have a ring and they're damn sure Wednesday would go all black widow on them
Anyways, there were rumors and gossip between the group of who Wednesday's paramour was but the moment they met her elusive blanket monster of a roommate, their thoughts got occupied
But a few weeks have passed and the shock of a growling blanket isn't so startling, the group talked about what Enid did for a living
As they tossed ideas around, they can't help but realize that wait a sec
.. These are the same assumptions they've made for wednesday secret lover
Are they perhaps one in the same!?? I mean, it'd make sense. With how easily Wednesday slips into covered arms and didn't seem so bothered at the bigger woman's touch.
They're dating!!!
But still, it didn't stop them from wondering just what did Enid do
They never did get an answer, until a black supercar waited outside of their campus gate. There were a few other students waiting sround, some even taking pictures but it isn't until Wednesday (and in turn the nightshades) was sighted does a door open and a blond with squared sunglasses step out.
Oh god, who was she? A model?
Their eyes draw to the scars on her cheek and that thought went elsewhere. Maybe a bodyguard? They know that Wednesday was rich but rich enough to need a bodyguard?
Or maybe, they hoped with anticipating eyesm, this was Enid?
Like she's sure that blond hair was similar to the mop hidden under layers of cloth. It was hard to know much about Enid but they know that she's a light tanned lady with blue eyes and blond hair.
"Wednesday!" she calls out and the lowkey broke college students reel over what she wore. Dressed to the tens in shades of black and grey, the suited woman walked around the car meet them halfway.
This..
The nightshades look at each other in panic. This wasn't Enid! Sure they were both blond but maybe Wednesday has a type.
"what're you doing here?" Wednesday asks and the nightshades were given a front row view to the way her jaw tenses and a tinge of color form on her ears.
Yeah nope, that's the lover alright.
Yoko sends her prayers to Enid. With how overprotective the wereblanket was, she's sure that there were some feelings involved. She prays that her girlie (they haven't talked at all) handles this well
A cheeky grin was Wednesday's answer as the blond twirled the car keys in her finger. "well yeah but lunch with Mr dad ended early so I thought I could pick you up!" those brows furrowed before the smile turned into something a bit more softer "unless you'd like to walk home?"
"No, I dont-" Wednesday mutters, her head ducking and is that blush growing!? "You didn't have to do this, I know that you must be tired."
Blond bodyguard(?) laughs and with the keys of a way too fancy car inbetween her fingers, she tilted Wednesday's head up.
"chin up, 'day. You know I could never be tired of you." it takes Wednesday nodding before blondie stands back. the college students immediately straighten their back as a stare was leveled onto them. "I also wanted to meet your friends! I haven't been able to get a clear look at them after all."
Bianca blinked, ignoring the way Wednesday grumbles a 'not my friends' to ask a question that popped into their heads. "excuse me? I don't think we met."
"... Did we not?" the blond wonders and she looks at wednesday before scratching her head and looking back at them. "you're swordfish lady right?"
Bianca's brows twitch. "swordfish lady?"
A smile grows as she snaps her fingers in remembrance. "yeah! Because you fence with Wednesday and you're a siren so I thought itd fit."
"you have such... A way with names," swordfish lady grits out as yoko barges in with a hand raised.
"what about me!?"
Blondie rubs her finger on her chin before she points with an aha! "yolks!"
Yoko blinks. ".. Like the egg?"
Blondie nods, her smile wide and clearly enthusiastic. Wednesday is standing right beside her, giving her usual side eye but staring with an affection she usually only held for Enid.
Rip enid, imagine losing your crush to someone who lowkey looks like you.
"Enid, we're wasting daylight," Wednesday calls out and Enid startles back.
The now named Enid panics, flustering an oh shoot! As she removed her sunglasses to reveal those familiar blue eyes before passing it over to Wednesday.
"it was nice talking to you guys!" Enid calls out and before the nightshades know it, the duo were gone. Wednesday having been ushered onto her seat with Enid closing it behind before hopping in and zooming away.
"did Wednesday just say Enid?" Eugene asks.
Ajax blinks. "did Enid mention having lunch with Wednesday's dad?"
Xavier sighs, a hand on his face. There went his chances. "maybe we should revisit the arranged marriage idea..."

i'm not in love
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[bad] description: Wednesday pays you a visit in school
"And this is how you do differential equations guys. Any questions? Do i need to explain it again?" asked the professor of your beloved subject math, sarcastically of course.
"No, no we get it" shouted the entire class collectively already ready to leave in hopes of finishing earlier than intended despite understanding close to nothing before being interrupted by a gem amongst stones.
"Yes, actually can you repeat that part where…"
At that very moment you and every single being in that room let out a disappointed and annoyed sigh. Muffling out every noise surrounding you along with your vision going dark as you rested your head between folded arms acting as a pillow. Might as well take a rest since your phone died meaning no music, no music meaning no other options left except sleep to pass the time.
The bell rang and you were pretty sure everyone right now wished to be people speeding down the hallway heading out.
"Guys, silence please. Listen to me for a minute, this is very important which i forgot to mention. We'll finish quickly and you got your break."
His rambling, although you were detached from everything could be present up until it got quiet out of the blue. Raising your head and adjusting your vision wondering what's the reason behind the silence until you spotted the reason and made eye contact with it.
Quite impossible to miss the one and only, from head to toe wrapped in black Wednesday, your Wednesday Addams.
"I am sorry for interruption sir, i considered since the bell rang the class is over therefore i may come in."
"Well uh, yes you can but i didn't finish my lecture yet."
"Would you mind if i were to take a seat in the back of the class until it's finally over? I planned on waiting for someone from this class in front of the school but your lectures allegedly prolonged."
"Yes of course, go ahead." said the man whose voice you swore was trembling at one point as he turned around to bring a lecture to an end. "Where were we?", hand hovering above the board pointlessly moving in circles in order to remember. Great, now she even confused him which will make this even longer.
As Wednesday made her way to you, swiftly moving in between rows of desks and chairs people kept turning around once they were out of her vision. Both peripheral and the center one, it's better to play it safe.
"I see how you pay attention in class." was her first words of the day spoken to you when she sat next to your empty seat. Looking at your as well empty white notebook page you couldn't defend yourself.
"Wow, not even a hi and how are you for your beloved girlfriend?" you said faking a disappointed flat tone. "Besides, what are you doing here? I can already see 90% of people in this class won't sleep tonight because of you. I can't afford to pay for therapy bills."
"That's entirely not my problem. The reason i visited is because Enid told me you didn't answer her text messages."
(That definitely was not the reason but you let it slide)
"You mean your text messages? I know when you use her phone, Enid doesn't use proper grammar. It screams 'Wednesday'. Also my phone died so that's why."
"Hmmm" she muttered looking you dead in the eye as if interrogating with hope you will break and confess. "I'll take that as an excuse."
"Okay but what about the real reason you're here?" You said giving her a playful smile.
"What are you implying?"
"Just say you wanted to see me so, oh so desperately. It's normal, nothing to be ashamed of. Couples do that in case this is your first time hearing about it." You gave her a wink knowing it will make her roll eyes.
"Dude, is this your friend?" ruined the moment by a guy sitting in front of you that was quiet up until now, unfortunately.
"I mean-"
"I'm the girlfriend. Why?"
Seeing both of your sour faces he was brave enough to push forward "Listen, i always had a thing for like goth girls so i was wondering if you're free but since you two-"
"Alright guys, class is finally over. I apologize for making you stay longer, i'll make it up to you by shortening next class. See you tomorrow and have a good day."
All of the class shuffling drowned out his attempt for a small talk as both Wednesday and you thanked whatever is lurking out there for cutting it short. Wednesday was visibly close to falling apart from that interaction and it's for the best you leave as soon as possible to prevent any unwanted injuries. Clearly on behalf of the guy.   Eventually getting through the crowd and out in open felt like a wish come true.
"Looook, it's snowing right? The first one this year" you commented eagerly while looking around the sky that's getting darker and darker by each second.
"It's just snow." looking over to your side she feels like you shapeshifted into a child in those few seconds she looked away. She wasn't familiar with this type of werewolves but there's a first time for everything.
"It's also Wednesday today! It must be a sign." you claimed.
"Sign for what?" asked Wednesday completely clueless.
"Oh you know, the "first snow" traditions." quoting with your hands.
"The first snow traditions? If it's something coming from the things you read on the internet or you and Enids highly intelligent conversations-"
"No it's not! It says you're supposed to kiss the loved one on the first snowfall of the year." Looking back to her, asking you "Really?" just above a whisper. She was still wary but how could she not trust you. It's you after all.
Taking a deep breath in she turned to you fixing your winter hat and dusting of snow that has fallen, hands naturally finding their own path down to your face as she allowed herself to relax around you.
"This better be true" merely an inches of space between two of you. In fact, she wouldn't mind if it weren't the truth.
time skip
"You lied."
"About what are we talking about?"
"About the snow tradition. I can't believe i had to hear it from Enid and her computer that there is no concrete evidence behind the snowfall and a kiss." said Wednesday bringing up your last weeks made up fact.
"And what are you complaining about exactly?" provided no answer. You won against Wednesday, congratulations.
notes: for the sake of the story pretend you don't attend Nevermore and Wednesday can roam around freely (also no offense for math lovers)
fun fact also: i accidentally deleted this after writing it for hours i almost deleted the app

Hi how about an Enid Sinclair x Male! Reader. where both are werewolves and wake up together one morning after a full moon night in the woods[Not with clothes on, of course]. They haven't talked much to each other before but they know each other anyway Enid knows everyone. Throughout the day, both remember what happened and that there was nothing "bad" about it. They talk to each other in the evening, with Enid finally confessing to him that she actually thinks it's a bit of a shame that it didn't happen. The reader just looks at her in amazement while she says with a wink that she feels more for him. He can only grin and says me too when she already pounces on him and wants to catch up on things that didn't happen.
In the Pale Moonlight
Enid Sinclair X Male Werewolf
Tumblr media
It was all a blur at the beginning, the sudden racing of your heartbeat. The heavy breathing you started to do, you couldn’t control this primal urge overcoming you suddenly. Your head began to bound with the sound of your own blood rushing from your heart, your eyes dart upward to the full moon. In that instance you immediately recognized What was transpiring. You attempted to stand up to reach the door, only for your feet to expand out of your favorite pear of slippers. Your body hair growing and in places no body hair should exist. Your only salvation was the wolfing chamber, specifically made for situations like this.
Leaning against the wall, you attempt to make it to the door of your dormitory to get outside, it you could only make a few steps before collapsing, and your mind slowly going blank, the howl of the night was the last thing you could make out before it was over. You had no idea how much time passed before you slowly began to regain control, feeling the dirt in your claws, on your feet.
Finally regaining normal vision you watch your hairy arm slowly revert back, the ill moonlight shining on the forest, slowly you sit up, eventually looking at your surroundings to figure out just where you’re at, your eyes do catch something as well, a hand. Since the moonlight had its own reflection and light, the shadows casted by the darkness hid much but you leaned in to get a closer look, until you were met face to face with a girl. You both keep back with a small scream. She looks down quickly, realizing she’s naked and covers her body. You advert yourself eyes.
“Shit! Im so sorry!” You say, trying not to let the embarrassment stop you from doing the right thing, you felt the cool wind against your back, your spine, and also realize you’re naked. You back into the shadows of a few trees to hide whatever shred of dignity and manhood you had.
“I’m really sorry about that..” you mutter. The girl, also shrouded by a few trees tries to be a bit more pleasant.
“I-it’s fine, I didn’t know I’d wolf out..” she said. When you looked more at her face you recognized the uniqueness of her hair, and the beauty of those teal green eyes, you couldn’t mistake her anywhere else.
“Enid?” You asks, and she slowly nods.
“Yeah, and you’re (Y/n).” She said, Enid was the social butterfly, if you could call her a butterfly of Nevermore so she’s the need to know kind of type of girl. You two stood a bit away from each other, trying not to let hormones and curiosity take over.
“So, first time wolfing out?” You ask, immediately realizing it’s a dumb question, you attempt to take it back but she answers.
“It is.” She says..
“Oh…” you murmur, you looked up to see the moons position and your tracking training kicks in.
“It’s gonna be daylight soon, we should probably get back to our dorms.”
“Yeah..” Enid agrees and you both move out of the moonlight but quickly back in, it was an awkward few tries before you decide to cut it short. “You should just go first.” You say.
“Okay, you aren’t gonna peek or anything will you?”
“Of course not, promise.” You turn around to face a tree and Enid hesitates for a moment, before leaving. You hear the rustling leaves and you think for a second, you decide this might be your only chance and you spoke up.
“Hey, Enid?” You say, she stopped and turned to see you were still staring at the tree.
“Congrats on, wolfing out.” You say, while it was embarrassing to be naked in the forest with a boy you barely knew, his words of encouragement meant more than she expected. She couldn’t help but smile at this.
“Thanks.” She, in a much happier mood, headed back to her dorm before the sun could expose anything, you quickly made haste after she made a good distance away from you.
The sunlight rose on the next day, and you were trying to remember most of your wolfing out. Sitting in class you were staring off into space, trying to remember most of it, it was a haze for the most of it, but you could remember that it was mostly running, howling and, fighting? Mostly just horsing around with Enid. Thankfully you didn’t harm anyone or her. Hopefully this was something you could just shove into the back of your mind and forget, but you couldn’t and you had to confirm your theory. Late In the evening you approached Enids form room and with caution, knocked. Knowing there’s a possibility you could run into her roommate, Wednesday was a nightmare.
“Hey.. uh, Enid? It’s (Y/n).” You say, “Can.. We talk?” You ask. Your hear it unlock and out comes Enid, more casual wear and still had the pink dye in her hair.
“Cmon.” She says and you enters, noticing the split of color and lack of on the other side of the room, definitely Wednesdays side, best for avoid it, might be cursed or something. You take a moment to sit on Enids bed as she approaches.
“There’s, something I’ve been meaning to ask you, I thought a lot about last night, I’m glad I didn’t hurt you or anyone. Do you remember last night?” You ask, she looks more bubbly than before.
“Yeah, it was.. Rough. Not like that kind of rough just, fun.. I really enjoyed it actually. I’ve never wolfed out before and I had someone to wolf out with.” Enid stated, and she looked you dead in the eyes and with the most obvious hint, said “It’s a real shame we couldn’t do anything else~” she winks and a sudden hotness rushes over your face. You blink a few times and put on a smile.
“Well, feelings mutual.” You say, and she takes the opportunity to close in. Sitting on your lap, you feel her palms land softly on your shoulder and her lips close in, reciprocating her feelings, your arms coyly wrap around her lower back and waist and feel her soft breath against your lips. Her eyes closed and you shut yours to feel her lips embrace yours, her soft giggling in your ear hummed. Lying on her bed, it was the perfect time for you two to catch up on the events that could have happened last night

Hi! I had this idea stuck in my head for a while. What if Miss Thornhill forced the reader to go against Wednesday when she realized that the reader had feelings for her?
A/N: I dunno if this quite hits your request, but it kinda ran away from me at a point lol
Wednesday x GN!Reader
Groans echo in the small room. Sweat soaked your clothes and shackles bruised your wrists. All you could do was listen to the thuds of red boots as they pace the floor.
"You're more stubborn than I thought." Thornhill fills another vial of whatever she was torturing you with. "I know you know more than you're telling me."
"I'm telling you all I know," you cry out. "Wednesday doesn't see me as a confidant." You grunt in pain as she kicks you.
"I thought I told you to get closer to her. You like her don't you? It should be easy."
A soft sob slips out and Thornhill slips into her motherly persona.
"Oh honey. It'll all be worth it in the end. I'll even spare Wednesday her life so you can have her." She sticks a needle in your neck and empties its contents. "But maybe this will remind you that I won't accept failure anymore.
Pain sinks into your veins as the poison takes effect. Screams echo, making the walls rattle. Thornhill leaves you thrashing on the ground and you black out in agony.
-----+++++-----
When you come back to consciousness, you're trudging towards your dorm room at Nevermore. It isn't clear how you made it here. You were just on autopilot. Whatever Thornhill shot in you still pulsed in your veins. The pain, while dulled immensely, still ripped through your body. You just hope you didn't run into anyone before you made it to your room.
Of course, your luck was shit recently.
The one person you especially wanted to avoid rounded the corner and dark eyes pierced through you. You could only manage a weak grimace in greeting.
"H-hey, Wednesday."
The goth watches your posture. The way you used the wall to hold up the near entirety of your weight. The sweat raining down your face from exertion. The way your breathing makes your entire body heave. After some silence, the girl turns around and goes back the way she came. You let out a sigh of relief only to see Wednesday come back with Enid in tow.
"Carry them to our room," she commands. "Something is going on and I intend on finding out."
"Did you really just bring me here to be the muscle?"
The withering glare sent her way answers Enid's question and she picks you up with an apology. You're far too weak to even resist.
You find yourself in Enid's and Wednesday's shared room. On Wednesday's own bed no less. The wolf whines softly and looks at you worriedly while Wednesday tries to deduce what was wrong with you. It takes a while, but you manage to get the strength back to say more than two words.
"It's poison that was injected straight into my veins." You lean your head to show the needle prick on your neck. "I was tortured. Been getting tortured."
"By who? And why?"
Your mouth opens to answer Wednesday. You try, but nothing comes out. Only a groan triggered by memories of your pain. Your body begins to writhe from the phantom pains. You feel a cold compress on your forehead. Thing was gently taking care to calm you down. It takes only a few moments for you to calm down.
"Enid, Thing. Leave us alone."
Both look at Wednesday before slowly leaving. Once the door closes, the goth's attention immediately presses onto you. Your fear of more torture makes you shake uncontrollably. Wednesday was capable of so much and you were terrified to become another victim. Tears start to fall from your eyes.
"P-please... I don't want to hurt again..."
Wednesday's eyes soften slightly at the sight of you. She was used to seeing you more upbeat. You would often invade her space just to be near. For some reason, you liked having her around and she had gotten used to it. Seeing you like this was abnormal. She didn't like it one bit.
Recently, the goth noticed you trying to keep your distance, yet also involve yourself in her investigations. While she appreciated your help, the constant push and pull made you suspicious to her. One way or another, she'll figure out why.
You felt a hand on your forehead before it starts running down your hair. You stifle a cry. Wednesday's voice, though soft, cuts through to you.
"I don't intend to hurt you, Y/N. Whether you tell me what you know or not." She pulls her chair closer to you. "Priority right now is your well being."
She continues her ministrations and it soothes you. You still didn't trust your voice, but you wanted to help Wednesday. Even with all the torture you suffered, you would push back against Ms. Thornhill until the end. With a wince, you slowly reach into a hidden pocket in your jacket and pull out a vial of blue liquid. Wednesday stops her hand and widens her eyes.
"That's nightshade. Why do you have it?"
You hand her the vial. Taking deep breaths, you pushed through to answer.
"I was supposed to use it on you. To get you out of the way. At least after getting your blood."
"My blood?" You nodded.
"I don't know why, I swear. That's all I was told." Tears start to fall again as fear of punishment engulfs you again. Wednesday moves to soothe you again.
"I believe you. Do you know who did this?" Another nod.
"I-it was Ms. Thornhill." Even saying her name aloud made you shiver. "She found out about my feelings for you. Wanted to use it to get to you."
That news surprised Wednesday. You had feelings for her? Everything makes sense now. All of your actions come to the forefront of her mind as she analyzes your relationship with her. Her face hardens when a new goal is added to her list.
"We will talk about those... Feelings at another time." She softly caresses your cheek. "For now, rest. And I will make sure Thornhill pays for what she did to you."
For the first time in a long while, you smile. Wednesday will surely be true to her word.
