Does it really, cosmically speaking, matter if i dont get up and go to work?

Small but significant character moments that I actually really adore are from both the times we see the boys as tots. There is a reoccurrence that happens in both of them that I find so incredibly interesting.
For the turtle tot short, Splinter leaves the boys with weapons. In the short, Raph is the one who suggests they do “what Lou Jitsu would do” and Leo is the one who takes point when Splinter comes back to reprimand them. Leo, in taking point, is the one to defend them and get Splinter off their tails.
And then, in the flashback regarding the Kuroi Yōroi helmet, Raph is the one who grabs and throws “Skully” as a way to replace their missing ball which breaks it into pieces, but Leo is the one who speaks for the group and rushes into action to fix the teapot.
I love this for multiple reasons, but the biggest are how it shows that Raph has always been inclined toward the bold and fun and making the plans to include his brothers in what he loves and believes they’d love, whereas Leo has always been inclined to be the “Face” of the group and shoulder the attention even if it’s potentially negative all while coming up with on the spot attempts to fix the situation.

Finally, the last part of my drawings of @indieyuugure's humanized turtles, and this one's a double serving!
Here're Raph and Mikey :)
I managed to carve out some time this evening/night (Finnish time) for more fanart of a fanfic I'm obsessed with.
Part 1, Donnie Part 2, Leo

Not to start beef on main but what was the POINT of creating and then endearing us to Rex, of making him such an integral part of The Clone Wars and Rebels as a protagonist and supporting character, making him not just Anakin's and Ahsoka's captain but also their friend and most loyal ally, if you're gonna fucking snub him from the plot completely?

what makes minedai even sadder is that we never rlly see daigo try to build a bond with anyone else like he did with mine it rlly shows how badly it effected him like yeah he reached out to shinada in y5 but that’s rlly it and he probably would wanna leave him alone after that and not involve him in any yakuza stuff so i don’t think they would’ve hung out or anything like that afterwards. All he rlly had were saejima and majima but they were more like babysitters than anything, wish we saw more of their dynamic tho like we did with majima and daigo in dead souls since that was fun and we were lowkey robbed but in canon he’s just as lonely as he was before majimas promise to kiryu. And mine is the only person he really had a meaningful relationship with romantic or not they were still really close and we don’t see that again with daigo ever (from what i recall after y3) ok sorry for rambling LMFAO
even with shinada, he reached out to him more so out of 'duty' and trying to make up for the misfortune that befell him because of yakuza than wanting to rekindle any kind of friendship they might have had in high school (though it sounds more like they were just acquaintances if shinada needing a second to remember who daigo was is anything), so yah i doubt they really had any kind of bond afterwards
dead souls really was the only time after Y3 where we got to see daigo be more sociable with someone, but its as you say majima and saejima are more like retainers than close friends

this is so funny to me okay so the timeline goes
Several years ago in my desperately wanting to be a werewolf phase I looked at like one or two pages of the first chapter of the glass scientists but it had literally just started and hadn't gotten past chapter two and I was. A child. So I ended up like of dropping it
Fast forward several years later...
I'm looking at random tv tropes articles and there's one with a picture of a girl with a skeleton hand
I reverse image search it and one of the suggested images is a panel from chapter one of tgs
flashback.jpg
I binge the entire comic in a single day and buy volume one immediately
edward hyde and associates sink their grubby little paws into my brain
and today I just spend twenty one pounds on a copy of the two main source materials (j&h and frankenstein) and a copy of the jekyll and hyde OBCR and a copy of the original studio cast recording which had to come over the sea from TEXAS

In the best version of reality we would get a Flash storyline wherein the Justice League, the Titans, Young Justice and every other superhero is mind controlled except for the speedsters. With the entire might of DC greatest hunting them down the speedsters have a dumb idea. A very very dumb idea.
See, speedsters are able to control what age they are and, while only Bart and Jay have ever seriously messed around with that ability, they need a wildcard move that won't be predictable.
What would a bunch of mind controlled superheroes not expect? What would immediately mark them as not a threat and allow them to sneak around in plain sight?
They disguise themselves as middle schoolers.
Jay and Barry get lucky. No one knew them as children and they aren't really recognizable as children so they get away with being 12.
Wally, Bart and Ace not so much. Half of the superhero community knew these three as children so they are forced to go even younger to be unrecognizable. All three settle on 6 because they refuse to compromise their ability to run.
The plan is to sneak into a class trip touring the Hall of Justice and then sneak away from the group to 'go to the bathroom'. The bathrooms are right above the Halls boiler room so then all they would have to do is vibrate through the floor and bam! They're through security undetected and have access to Hall.
What they don't take into consideration is that A) while Wally, Bart and Ace are used to being on high stakes missions as a child, Jay and Barry are not, Barry's on the verge of an anxiety attack and Jay CAN'T LIE B) as children none of them had the same control over their speed or their focus, which becomes very apparent when all five of them get so wrapped up in a pokemon battle that they don't notice Wonder Woman taking over the tour and, most importantly, C) Wally couldn't vibrate through objects without blowing them up until he was an adult.
They relearn that last one the hard way when the bathroom floor explodes and the Hall immediately goes into lock down.

I always assumed that this scene happened on, like, the first day of school, but it couldn't have, because Renji already has his lil' lightning bolt brow wing tatts.
And before you say, maybe he got those before he got to school, he didn't have them the day of the Kidou Mishap, when he meets Kira and Hinamori:
In fact, he still doesn't have them by the time of the Trauma Fieldtrip, which is either two or six months later, depending on if you want to go by the manga or the anime.
(and yes, this is actually consistent between the manga and anime)
Guys I am so lost in the sauce of trying to figure out the continuity of these Academy episodes. I cannot deal with this. Why are they in the same class anyway??? They talk about doing a problem on a blackboard, so I assume this is...math??? Statistics for psychopomps??
I am going to keep assuming it happened super early, there is no way that scene took place after the Trauma Fieldtrip. Maybe it is a flashback memory malfunction, by which I mean, Renji can't actually remember when he got his various tatts and so he remembers himself having them for this conversation when, in fact, he did not. (or maybe he just thought he looked cooler with them and it's not like Ichigo has anyway of fact-checking this)
