Zach: (while holding William) Oh, big whoop! I still got the tubby baby! Give me the pearl!
Martin: Uhm Zach, you really don’t want to be holding William right now. He’s been eating squid all day.
Chris: Plus, it’s not a good idea to get between a wild animal mom, and her baby.
(William starts to bark)
Zach: What’s the matter, baby seal thingie? You still want your- (notices an female elephant seal flopping to him)
Mrs. Li: (translated from barks) GIVE ME BACK MY SON!!!
Zach: AAAAHHH!!! (Let’s go of William and runs away.)

By the Shoreline Ficlet No. 3
Wanda: You know Pheebs, the more I think about it, the more I think you’re just like that mermaid from that movie we watched with DA.
Phoebe: You think so?
Wanda: I mean, you’re a redhead, you’re fascinated with human culture, you can talk to sea creatures like me-and those fish stealing birds, and you’re crushing on a human- granted you have to crush on that coat stealer Arnold… I’m going to make him pay for stealing my coat!
Phoebe: But he said it was an accident.
Wanda: I was singing for a week to the ocean because of him. Anyways, I guess the only differences are your dad isn’t royalty and doesn’t hate humans, you don’t have to sell your voice to get legs, and your tail isn’t green.
Phoebe: One: Daddy doesn’t have any issues with humans, Two: I can dry my tail out in the sun to get legs, and Three: Wanda, I have a tail of a giant kelpfish. I can change its color to be green.
Wanda: Point taken.
