How do you get Wesley's scene in the first chapter?

Choose Callie instead of Lucas. That's actually all it is haha. Those scenes at the end of Chapter 1 were meant to provide you small clues as to what the characters are up to, which fits what Lucas/Callie tells you right before there's a switch. Meaning if you choose Lucas, you get to have a peek into what Richard has been doing that night, and if you choose Callie, you'll be shown proof of what she'd said through the call. There'll be more variations in the future with regards to that choice.

I want to cry when I think of the old gen in SGE.

You're telling me it's canon that Lady Lesso was Callis' Dean (With Callis being the not-so-ugly uglification teacher).

It's cannon that Lady Lesso absolutely despised Evelyn and Rafal because hello, Evelyn ratted her out and Rafal forced her to make a choice, BUT THEN Evelyn and Rafal's son (Japeth) is obsessed with Lady Lesso's son (Aric).

It's cannon that 2 generations, no, THREE generations of evil were obsessed with Sophie? Rafal(love interest), Rhian(Love interest)/Japeth(Interest) and Evelyn(Interest). Although truth be told Evelyn was probably a bit irritated after she read the Story of Agatha and Sophie and saw Sophie kissing Rafal. Maybe she pushed it to the side with 'Oh it's fine, he's just using her'. Ok Miss Clown and you think he ain't using you? She probably realized he is when he turned her to dust.

Do you guys ever think that Sophie thinks that she practically dated a father and his son(s)? As we know her probably not.

Here's my question, I can't exactly recall if in book 5 when we are shown how Rhian and Japeth's existence came about if Rafal was young and beautiful or not(aka if he was old).

But if he WASN'T old and ugly then what happened in the meantime? How did he turn wrinkled and ugly as hell?

Was he also ugly or not when he tried to propose with Calissa? Cuz I can't remember for the life of me.

Are we also just gonna ignore that Evelyn was practically on the streets and that the Green Knight, the OG Japeth took care of her? Talk about being a deadbeat dad Rafal (cough RHIAN cough).

How does he keep seducing all these women?! I mean with Calissa it was a fail, Sophie was easily manipulated, and hell only knows what Evelyn's thinking process was given how easily she dismissed her each time she tried to be 'useful' to him.

Do you guys think Rafal knew that Japeth liked Aric? And if so is that why he made Aric the Dean of New evil(besides his own...evilness and the fact that he is Lady Lesso's son and inherited her magic).

We don't forget that 'Rafal' literally laughed when he was told he'd have to marry a woman for evil, right? Right? And then he became the Number 1 playboy. But the apple doesn't fall far from the tree because his true name sake(Rhian) took Sophie for the same reason (power) as his father while liking Kei and Japeth, the son that took after him, took Sophie with the intent of reviving Aric.

(I still refuse to believe Japeth was conscious of how Aric would act towards him when he came back. Japeth x Aric feels like it has a weird symmetry to Evelyn x Rafal due to the possible toxicity between the two given Aric was low-key homophobic. Well... More than low-key but that's beside the point)

*grabs your shoulders* look at me. it was never about the minivan, nor the purse, nor the plushy. it was about the thrill shauna gets from having control in cases where not having control is expected, is normal. she took the gun (control where it is not expected) and jeff took it from her (her control shatters). she found control in the wilderness (again, where it is not expected) and upon them being ‘rescued’, it got taken from her again (again, control shatters). it is not and has never been about the minivan, it is about the uncommon control that comes with getting it back; to shake from pure excitement (almost an erotic excitement, with the way her breath started hitching) while holding a man under gunpoint because she is in full control.

what I like to call Separation Au or the universe where Agatha is ready to break bones at all times only Sophie makes it to the school. It's a lot of fun to consider when you realize without Agatha, Sophie can't do more than psychological torment and emotional manipulation - and that's something the schools' inhabitants excel at!

Been thinking a little lot lately

The girlies did know it was coming, though!! Werekrakens typically show signs two weeks prior to their first transformations. This usually includes increased sleeping for several days and chronic aching/soreness, most notably in the knees, calves, tentacles, jaws, and teeth. Marie was unbelievably excited when Callie woke up late one morning complaining about being sore.

On the moon she was to transform, to celebrate the occasion, the gang went to Calamari County to transform freely in the countryside and to be with the Squid Sisters’ parents (who are non-krakens, side note) for Cal’s big night (Cuttlefish even tagged along!). In werekraken “culture” a first transformation is a HUGE deal, especially if you’re a late changer-of course they’d wanna spend it somewhere special and with their parents, no less.

labels like psychopathy and sociopathy are too hastily ascribed to Shauna Shipman not least of all because, A) all of the #unhinged behaviors & actions we've seen from her are more accurately attributable to a combination of 1) PTSD, 2) post-partum depression, 3) grief, 4) arrested development

AND-- more importantly insofar as it concerns definitions:

B) the key hallmarks of antisocial personality disorder (the clinical term for sociopathy/psychopathy) distinguishing it from mere jerkass behavior are 1) lack of remorse/regret or guilt for past actions, 2) inability to feel empathy* for others.

*empathy: the action of understanding, being aware of, being sensitive to, and vicariously experiencing the feelings, thoughts, and experience of another

two things Shauna is not are unempathetic and unable to feel remorse.

From the moment we meet Shauna as a kid she's writhing in guilt, and--I would argue--empathy. The whole reason she can't bring herself to tell Jackie she's planning on going to Brown is that she knows the disappointment will devastate Jackie and she doesn't want to hurt her best friend's feelings. Yes, she resents herself and especially Jackie for this but Shauna's empathy is what paralyzes her and keeps her from being honest.

Adult Shauna is just as capable of remorse/guilt and empathy:

When Tai shows up at her house and confides in her that she's started sleepwalking again, without Tai even having to ask, Shauna invites her to spend the night and promises to watch over her

after Callie shares with her how Shauna's unwillingness to discuss her past has deeply hurt Callie, Shauna acknowledges how her inability to confront her trauma has hurt her child and immediately tries to make amends by giving Callie what she needs and opening up.

And this is without getting into how Shauna's immense guilt and shame over her actions in the wilderness compelled her to punish herself post-rescue by not going to Brown (her dream school) and instead transforming her life into a living memorial to her dead friend.

Even adult Shauna's most violent action--killing Adam--wasn't an act of cold-blooded murder but rather happened as a result of PTSD-induced psychosis, as evidenced by her hallucinating that her journals are missing from the safe in the first place, and the flash to teen Shauna right after she guts him. She wasn't in her right mind. Does that excuse her? No. But killing someone during a bout of psychosis brought on by untreated PTSD is not the same as intentionally killing someone to solve a problem or in a fit of rage.

Is Shauna a violent person? Yes. Is she a selfish person? Yes. Is she self-destructive? Yes. Does she often behave irresponsibly and inappropriately? Yes. Is she dangerous? YES. But these qualities don't make her a psychopath. She's got too much empathy and is too burdened by guilt to have APD.

Agatha - Probably devours challah bread  - Has a mini golem figurine in her room in Gavaldon, on top of her pile of storybooks - Favorite holiday is Purim because people are supposed to be able to confuse the “Good” guys and the “Evil” guys and it’s the only time she isn’t seen as inherently Evil Sophie - Learned her mom was Jewish and latched onto it (Stefan isn’t) - Really likes the one story of Soloman involving the baby - “Lign in drerd un bakn beygl.” Callis - Knew Agatha didn’t want a bat mitzvah (too many people, too big an event, too much spotlight on her) so instead she saved money for Agatha’s 12th birthday and made her favorite foods (latkes, matzo ball soup, and homemade challah). - Uses lots of Jewish/Yiddish slang (schelp, klutz, kvetch) Vanessa - Loves eating apples in honey for Rosh Hashana - Always said Sophie took after her in terms of her “chutzpah”  Lesso - Has a mezuzah on her office door (which she moves to Dovey’s old office door in TLEA.
