a disclaimer before anyone starts reading: we all know led zeppelin is shady as hell and we hardly ever get anything confirmed or denied around here. so some stuff is up for speculation. everything in this post are things i've read in books, heard in interviews, or got from some other source. when it comes to “facts about led zeppelin” sometimes you gotta take it with a grain of salt. but honestly it’s led zeppelin we’re talking about, anything is possible. also this is all in good fun and giggles. with that being said, let’s get started with introductions to the members themselves.

wasnt jimmy’s first pick for a singer 

jerry reid suggested robert to jimmy. and when jimmy asked what he looked like jerry said, “like a greek god.”

jimmy thought something was wrong with robert when he first found him bc he was such a good singer and hadn't been signed yet 

after a practice together jimmy knew he had his singer 

he would call robert “the young guy with the powerful voice.”

he thought about leaving the band early on bc he was so nervous about being in it 

convinced john bonham to join the group bc they were the bestest of buddies 

he’s not credited on the first album bc he was still under another contract 

started song writing for the second album by jimmy’s memory 

it didn't take long for him to gain confidence and start owning the stage 

once when he was performing a dove flew in his hands 

there’s an audio of him singing john bonham happy birthday and it makes me so happy

- She used to dance ballet, but stopped her lessons. However, she still dances when her parents pressure her into putting on a show for their relatives during the holidays.

- Noelle is oddly affectionate and clingy when she returns home from school after the holidays. The first thing she does upon reaching the dorm is to run into the arms of the first person she sees; the dorm member will have their arms filled with a pale, sad-eyed girl struggling to hold back her tears.  

- The only other time Noelle is clingy and affectionate is when she overuses her magic and subsequently develops symptoms of hypothermia; wrapped up in blankets and lethargic, Noelle usually ends up clinging to Nyx and falling asleep on his shoulder.

- Out of boredom, Viktor taught her how to play poker, and Noelle turned out to be rather good at the game. She’s not as good as Viktor, but she’s still a champion in her own right.

- Noelle smells like cranberries, and the scent clings to her clothes and belongings as well. 

- She has a small garden. She grows a mixture of plants, ranging from poisonous plants, to herbs and fruits.

- She is in charge of cooking for the dorm, and is a good cook, provided that she does not mix the cooking ingredients with her potion-making ingredients. Her favourite person to cook for is Nyx, who falls upon her cooking with a ravenous kind of hunger.

- She tests her poisons out on herself to see their effects on the body firsthand. Thanks to this, she has built up an immunity to various types of poisons.

- She always has an abundance of money on her, and is perfectly willing to treat her friends to food at the Mostro Lounge.

- Whenever Viktor isn’t around, the duty of stitching up lost limbs usually falls to Noelle, who is good at sewing. Her stitches are neat and tiny and precise; considering that she is unfazed by blood and bodily fluids, this makes her a perfect choice.

The last months of this year will be uncomfortable for you, but positive, although you may just not notice it and not be aware of it. You may have some sadness. You can isolate yourself from the world, from people, you can feel lonely. You can feel sorrow for some loss, which will not be completely a loss for you, because even if you lose something, or if something goes away, there is something new for you and it is waiting for you. So don't lose your attention and try not to fall into such energy, because you may miss something. You may be hit by an energy overload. You can do too much work, too many duties, too many tasks to do. No wonder, given the fact that this is the end of the year. But watch out for such energy and try to avoid it. Do not take too much on yourself. Some things will come to an end, and I have a strong impression that for a long time something will be tiring for you, something that you will have to fight for constantly, something that will make you believe in yourself less and less, something that will cause you sadness and energy overload and tiredness. I can't do it anymore, I'm tired of this situation, I don't want it anymore. It is possible that you will be very attached to something or someone and even though you will be aware of your feelings what this situation/person causes, you will not do anything about it for a long time. Although at the end of the year you explode, you have had enough of it, and the tiring ends. You are finally cutting yourself off from what has tormented you terribly. It ends. You can't do this anymore. And this is a very positive event for you in your life. I have a feeling you're going to start a whole new life where you'll be important. There is a big change in your life waiting for you. For some of you it will be sudden.

The only bit of Taehyung’s face in the picture is his sinfully parted lips, his head tilted back and chin jutting forward to highlight the sharp of his jaw. Jungkook focuses on the slope of his neck, and the thin black cloth wrapped over it.

He inhales sharply at the glittery pendant hanging over his Adam’s Apple spelling out his name.

         no  one  expected   infidelity  to  break  apart  the  perfect  prescott  family.  it’d  been  going  on  for  months  --  elise’s  coming  and  going,  slowly  but  surely  falling  in  love  with  another  man.  timing  has  never  been  their  greatest  ally.  the  day  before  billie’s  twelfth  birthday  (  december  23,  2009 )   their  family  officially  broke  apart.  finding  out  elise  was  pregnant  with  another  man’s  child,  nick  packed  up  his  bags  and moved  in  with  his  father  billy.  

            christmas  eve  and  day  would  never  be  the  same  for  billie.  her  father    gained  sole  custody  after  the  divorce.  her  relationship  with  her  mother  &  step  father  was  never  good  --  billie, not  really   wanting  to  spend  any   time  with  either  of  her  parents.  her  life  is  pretty  much  in  turmoil,  running  away  from  home  for  days  on  end  (  or  until  a  friend’s  parent  ratted  her  out).   at   this  point  of  her  life things at  school  also  got  worse,  she  nearly  gave  up  dance.  the  divorce  of  her  parents  really  hard  on  her.  to  add,  she’d  also  been  getting  bullied  at  her  fine  arts  school.  she  looked  different,  dressed  different,  wasn’t  as  wealthy  as  the  other  girls  at  her  school.  she  was  picked  on  incessantly   making  her want  to  get  as  far  away  from  her  school  as  she  could.    essentially,  this  phase  in  her  life is  the  worse  it’s  ever  been  and  a  time  she  likes  to  pretend  didn’t  happen. 

             luckily  she  didn’t  quit  the  school,  her  grandfather  is  to  credit  for  pushing  her  to  continue  as  her  father  lost  a lot  of  patience  for  the  young  girl  thanks  to  her  behavior.  a  few  years  later,  in   2011,  she’d  land  the  opportunity  of  a  lifetime.  scouted  at  one  of  her  performances,   billie  was  offered  a  chance  to  join  a  girl  group.  maybe  more  attracted  to  the chance  of  moving  to  los  angles  at  such  a  young  age  and  getting  away  from  the  visits  to  her  mother’s  house ,  she  accepted !  and  the  rest  is  pretty  much  history.  she’d  meet  her  closest  friends  and  finally  get  a  taste  of  what  she’s  always   wanted  -- her  independence  away  from  it  all.

       prettyyy  self  loathing  but  really  hides  it  kinda  well  with a  facade  of  grandiose.  but  upon  meeting  her  it’s  pretty  obvious  she  doesn’t  believe  that. 

        just,,,,  so  sarcastic  lmao has  zero  good  coping  skills .  none.   so  if  it’s  not  backhanded  sarcasm  she’ll  probably  resort  to ... substances. hollywood  hasn’t  been  kind  to  her  so  she’s  kinda  been  exposed  to  some  bad  influences  at  a  very  young  age.  she’s  trying  her  best  eye,,,

         loves  to  dance!  she’s  professionally  trained  in  ballet  ,  tap,  and  a  few  other  styles.  she  does  that  in  her  free  time  when  she  isn’t  working  on  the  band  as  well  as  a  very  small  soundcloud  gig  under  a  fake  name  that  she  keeps  underwraps  * subject to change lmao 

         i  think  that’s  it.  she’s  just  chaotic  and  i’m  still  figuring  her  out !

Icarus sneezed. The dust inside the cramped tower swirled, agitated by his constant twitching. He sneezed again and winced as his father laced the leather harness around him tightly, yanking it into place. 

“Ow.” He squirmed. “Ow!” 

“Stand up straight.” Icarus winced again, this time at the swat. The wings were heavy, almost half the weight of his wiry frame. “They won’t fit properly if you don’t quit squirming.” 

“Are you sure this’ll work?” Icarus craned his neck to try and glimpse where the wings met his back, the feathers already itching. They fluttered briefly, and Icarus smiled.

Redemption Day

         ‘Here comes the cavalry,’ the figure thought, eyes opening to look up hazily at the leaves that would have been green had there been enough light to see by. The nearest light was a streetlamp a few meters away, though the brightest light in town just happened to be the Donaldson house, which always had some sort of decorative lawn ornament or Christmas light that made the neighbors grumble and close their curtains or cut the electric wires.

Fingers fluttered at the beat, and their eyes stayed shut, even as the patrol car drove by, slowing suspiciously at the closed graveyard gate, but moved on to a better lit street. Then the sirens started. Another siren called back in response before a third pierced the not yet quiet air.

Of course, the Donaldson house happened to be the brightest this night because it was on fire.

“Turn me back.” The wolf demanded. 

The magician blinked. That wasn’t quite what he expected. “But I went through all this trouble! Don’t you at least want to try it?” He had anticipated a joyous response, or at the very least some form of praise for having broken the laws of reality. 

“Not really. I’d much rather be a wolf.”  Said the woman that used to be a wolf. Then she shook her hair out and bared her teeth, still deadly. “Turn. Me. Back.”

“I remember her.” Grandmother’s eyes sharpened. “Came to me about ten years ago, saying she was pregnant with Son’s children. Little--” 

“Surprise.” X said flatly, cutting off whatever insult she had planned. “She was right.” There was no surprise in the old woman’s face.

“I demand a paternity test.” 

“And it was twelve years ago, not ten.”

“Paternity. Test.” H rolled her eyes, thrusting the packet of medical work at her. 

“Here. You go.” Grandmother’s eyes narrowed as she read, and narrowed further still when she looked up at the twins, distrustful. A beat of silence, then she said,

“When Son returns, he will be the one to figure out what to do with you. Until then, you stay here, and stay out of my hair, understand?” H swallowed her scowl, and X swallowed his smile. 

“Of course.”

“You got a name?” The man blinked in sunrise that the sudden question.  

“Carl.”

“I’ll believe that if you believe I wanted to be a ballet dancer when I was a kid.” Father Turrell snorted, then said seriously. “I actually wanted to be a tap dancer.” He waved a hand dismissively. “Semantics.”

“You don’t believe me.” 

“Did you expect me to?” He arched a brow. ‘Carl’ muttered under his breath. “You don’t look like a Carl.” Father Turrell paused thoughtfully. “Does anyone actually look like a Carl?”

“Not anyone you want to meet.” The priest furrowed his brow at the strange sentence, but began to collect dishes, running lukewarm water in the sink. 

“Anyway, Carl or not, you’re free to have coffee with me anytime you wish.”

Down We Fall (royal political drama)

It happened slowly. He began to notice the little things, quick flashes of personality he'd never noticed before. A selfishness. A coldness. At first he thought one of the cooks had slipped him something, some sort of paranoia inducing drug. But rifling through the kitchen late at night proved nothing, other than his suspicion that Cook Lafet used more butter than necessary and less pecans than she should. Her nails traced his face and he couldn't help but shiver. “Darling,” she stopped. “What's wrong?” Normally he would've taken her hand in his and kissed it to reassure her. But this time he was the one in need of reassurance.

The Day Pa Crow Died

The truck gave a cough in warning. Pa frowned, checking the dash. It had been full last night, he knew, since he had stopped at the gas station just after giving one of his kids a lift to their PTA meeting (their car had crapped out just before they were supposed to be at the school, leading to a panicked plea interrupting Pa’s nightly television hour). Pa knew he should have more gas that this, but focused instead on finding someplace safe to pull over. The truck died just as he made it to the gas station. 

Pa grunted as he got out, his knees rolling a bit, though the drop wasn’t very far. Reaching for the pump, a small pink note greeted him, scribbled in thick marker.

Pa went inside, ringing the bell above the door. The cashier, buried in a magazine titled: Drought, Is It Aliens Or Aardvarks?, rung him up for gas, as well as a few candy bars. 

Pa stopped, one foot from the threshold. His skin prickled, but he pushed it aside, and left the station, the bell dinging behind him. A shadow fell into place beside him.

“Do you have a five? I need a pack of cigarettes.” Pa sighed, slipped a bill out of his beat up wallet, and handed it to the voice’s owner. The man went inside, bought his cigarettes, then returned. He looked at Pa expectantly.

“You need to learn to say no.” Said the stranger. Pa blinked. 

“What business is it of yours?” He hoped he didn’t sound rude. He did just buy the man his cigarettes after all. 

“None at all,” the other man said amicably. He flicked his lighter, the tip glowing before he said, “You didn’t happen to want change back, did you?” 

‘Yes,’ Pa thought, but decided to try something different. “No.” 

The man hummed. “D’you happen to be a Capricorn?”

“No,” Pa said, wondering why he thought of that brown cone bursting with produce that decorated Thanksgiving tables in pictures. “I don’t believe so.” 

Pa Crow was born on a certain day of a certain year, under a certain astrological sign that may or may not have actually fit personality wise, since he didn’t actually know what day he was born. In short, he didn’t believe in astrology, and he didn’t care much to learn.

“A Virgo then?” The man asked.

“No.”

“Leo?”

Pa smiled.

I’m also debating on turning this really dramatic wip I wrote years ago about Jack the Ripper, theater, and multiple personalities into a musical.

Pinehead Headcanons: Oscar the New Year Baby

I’ve talked one or two times about Oscar’s birthday and what his potential birth date and astrological sign might be. In this past, this squiggle meister was banking on the theory of Oscar being revealed as a Taurus sign with his birthday falling within the Easter month of April, making him an Easter baby.

While April 21st  is still one of my choices for Oscar’s official birthday, recently I’ve considered a second option for Oscar’s birthday. I know there are one or two Pineheads hoping that Oscar is actually a Christmas baby. For Oscar to be born around Christmas, that would make him a Capricorn sign.

Just like last time, I checked out the characteristics of the Capricorn-born personality and, while not nearly as on the nose as the Taurus personality (at least in my opinion), the Capricorn personality can apply to Oscar as well:

Has a maturity beyond her or her years

Tends to be very much into reading

Often finds comfort in those that are older or more advanced

Mild-tempered but will express disapprovals or annoyance often

Usually has hand-selected few friends

(RNJR will be Oscar’s Inner Circle and you can’t tell me otherwise, dagnabbit!)

Capricorn is also another Earth Sign like Taurus. Part of my reasoning for jumping on the Oscar is a Taurus bandwagon is because like most RWBY theories, I pegged earth to be Oscar’s signature element given his former farm hand upbringing and earth-based colour scheme. So I like that the Capricorn sign still fits in with this concept. According to TheZodiaccity.com, Earth horoscopes are:

Not the fondest of change or new situations, but will do what is necessary.

Are prone to feeling “not good enough”

They appreciate honesty and truth, although they hate to hear it

Can be stubborn, but in the sense of staying true to themselves and goals

Their inner, deep feelings can remain a mystery until you dig it out of them

Extremely driven and focused, with a desire to ultimately succeed

Highly sensual…for the right person

It is also mentioned that Capricorn are most compatible with Scorpios. Ruby is a confirmed Scorpio so that fits nicely with this hunch. 

“…The Capricorn man is quiet and reserved but very intelligent and practical. They make excellent and stable lovers and partners.”

Quiet and reserved but very intelligent and practical. Yep! Sounds like our precious freckled farm boy.

If Oscar is a Capricorn-born, this fits with all those Pineheads wishing for him to be born on Christmas. The Capricorn birthday falls between December 22nd and January 20th.

If I had a second choice for Oscar’s astrological sign, it would be Capricorn. Capricorn is my second choice for Oscar’s sign and what I like about the Capricorn birthday is that two important holidays fall within this sign: Christmas and New Year’s. 

I still wish to believe that Oscar was born on a holiday just to share that cohesiveness with Ruby who was born on Halloween, according to the CRWBY.

Let’s consider Christmas first. Technically you can say that Ozma and the Wizards of Light are the ‘Jesus’ equivalent in the RWBY-Verse. Christ, (according to the Roman Catholic religion I was raised under) was born on Christmas Day to be the saviour of the world who was ultimately crucified and died on the cross for our sins. He was also brought back to life.

Technically that’s not too far from Ozma’s story, minus a few details. Ozma was a valiant warrior of light who ultimately died of sickness. The God of Light resurrected Ozma so that he may save humanity from falling in to complete anarchy and risk their world being completely wiped out by the Gods on the proclaimed Judgement Day should the Brothers ever be summoned back to Remnant via the gifts they left to humanity.

Oscar is the current incarnation of Ozma (and by my headcanon, his one true incarnate as the personification of his original form resurrected in Modern Remnant buuuuut…that’s still up for debate). As one of the Wizards of Light, Oscar is tasked with protecting humanity and ensuring its survival. When you consider the Christ reference, making Oscar’s birthday Christmas Day doesn’t sound too bad. It actually fits quite well.

And unlike Easter, which official date changes with each year, Christmas is a fixed date. It is always December 25th just as how Halloween is always October 31st.

So for the folks who wish for Oscar to be born on Christmas Day, there’s your justification if you needed one. Oscar the Christmas baby is a nice idea.

However; that’s not the title of this Pinehead headcanon of mine, now is it?  I like the idea of Oscar being born on Christmas Day, I really do. But I actually have another idea that fits just as good or even better.

How about, instead of Oscar being a Christmas baby or even an Easter baby, what if…Oscar is a New Year’s baby. Imagine if…Oscar is Baby New Year.  

Why is Oscar being Baby New Year perfect ?

New Year’s Day is another fixed date like Christmas. It’s always January 1st.

January 1st falls before January 20th which would still make Oscar a Capricorn sign.

 A common term for Oscar within the Pinehead community is ‘baby’ due to him being the ‘baby’ of the heroes as their newest, youngest member.  Baby = Baby New Year.

Baby New Year symbolizes the ‘birth’ of the next year and the ‘passing’ of the prior year; in other words, a ‘rebirth’. This point fits with the theme of reincarnation being a part of Oscar’s story as a Wizard of Light.

According to Wikipedia, the myth most associated with Baby New Year is that he is a baby at the beginning of his year, however he quickly ages until he is elderly (like Father Time) at the end of his year. At this point, Baby New Year hands his duties to the next Baby New Year while he either dies or remains in this state and retires.  I really like this titbit because it reminds me of how the Ozma cycle works. When a Wizard of Light dies, his memories, powers and responsibilities are passed on to his next chosen successor while the soul of the previous Wizard becomes a part of the persona that will ultimately be fused with the soul of current Wizard during the Merge.

Again, as much as I like Oscar the Christmas baby and as much as I’ve always vouched for him being an Easter baby, Oscar the Baby New Year Pinehead headcanon is slowly winning me over.

Plus…as a New Year’s baby, I like the idea of their being a tradition in Oscar’s household where he actually gets two birthday parties in a sense. One on the Eve of his birthday (since it’s New Year’s Eve) and one on his actual birthday which is New Years’ Day.

I also love the idea of their being another birthday tradition for Oscar, where he always got kisses at midnight on New Year’s Eve since it would be his birthday. Like as the New Year countdown starts, Oscar’s female relatives used to kiss him on the cheek and the amount of kisses he got correlated with how old he was going to be that year with the final kiss being at midnight on the dot, marking the New Year and his birthday.

Picture…a birthday like that with Oscar and the heroes.

Picture it. 11: 45, New Year’s Eve. 15 minutes before Oscar turns 15. So as the countdown starts, for every minute that passes, Oscar gets a kiss on the cheek from all the girls on the team with the final kiss---the fifteenth kiss coming from Ruby. But…she doesn’t just kiss him on the cheek.

Like imagine…Maria, Nora, Yang, Blake, Weiss---each kissing Oscar on both cheeks. And for the sake of this hunch of mine, what if…and this is a super mega big ‘if’…General Ironwood does something incredibly sweet for Oscar on beseech from Ruby and has Oscar’s Aunt Em flown out from Mistral to be in Atlas in time for Oscar’s birthday (and the beginning of the New Year).

I know it’s very unlikely but again; for the sake of this theory, let’s say… Aunt Em is present for when her nephew is about to turn 15 and gets to give her two kisses during the countdown.

This leaves Ruby Rose with her two kisses including the last one. Although Ruby insisted that the fifteenth kiss should go to Em, Em gave Ruby her blessing since she is the one technically looking out for Oscar in her place while he’s in Atlas and training to become a huntsman. So in Em’s eyes, the final kiss should come from Ruby. Think of it like a passing of the torch sort of deal from one woman who cared for Oscar to another.

So as the minutes countdown, Ruby kisses Oscar twice on both cheeks as expected. However at midnight, for the final kiss…she does something unexpected. She leans in and kisses Oscar square on the lips. It’s a quick kiss but it’s enough to render Oscar speechless and blushing like crazy. Same for Ruby. Though she composes herself a lot better than Oscar so she could say to the freckled farm boy with great big smile “Happy New Year and Happy Birthday!”

Tell me that doesn’t sound like a cute concept. Since V5, I have mainly maintained my headcanon of Oscar being an Easter Baby. I have kept this theory alive and strong. But now. Now I think I’ll have to make that my second choice. Oscar being Baby New Year sounds too perfect.

Not to mention that guys….do you know what the birthstone and lucky colour for Capricorns are?

Ruby and Red. 

I mean…if the shoe fits then wear it right?

To my beloved Oscar the Easter-born Taurus theory:  you’ve been a terrific Pinehead headcanon. One I still hold dear to my heart. But at this moment you will have to settle for second place since Oscar the New Year’s had won me.

I know I said once upon a time in a galaxy far, far away that until the CRWBY confirms Oscar’s birthday, I will celebrate it as April 21st cause of Easter.

I change my mind. From henceforth, until the CRWBY Writers confirm Oscar’s birthday, this squiggle meister shall treat and celebrate New Year’s Day (inclusive of New Year’s Eve) as Oscar’s fanon birthday. 

Oscar is Baby New Year by the power invested in my Pinehead headcanons and you can’t tell me otherwise until Miles and Kerry say no-no.

FULL MOON IN CANCER - January 1st 2018

We're welcoming the first Full Moon of 2018 on the 1st January in the sign of Cancer. You're going to move into 2018 leading with your heart!

This sentimental water sign will have you wanting to connect with those you love and who feel like family. It's going to be even more emotionally charged due to the Grand Water Trine Mars, Neptune and Jupiter are making with la luna, but this is definitely one Super Moon that will soothe our souls.

Translated this means we will find the compassion and sensitivity to speak up and wear our heart on our sleeve, with a need to nurture and protect who and what we value most, whilst healing some deep wounds that we can gently bring to the surface within ourselves. Cancer brings in themes of vulnerability and a craving for security, affection and love. You're going to feel very reflective and possibly quite overwhelmed with your emotions and so be careful not to mix up feelings of attachment and a need for validation, with your hearts true desires. Working out what is truth and what is the complex myriad of your own dreamlike fantasy of a life that "could be" may require some quiet withdrawal and deep contemplation to help you untangle the threads. Turn that deep compassion inwards and you will intuitively find the gift that this lunar love is offering you. Self-love is going to be a theme throughout 2018 and so take heed, putting your own healthy energetic boundaries in place now is going to help you down the line this year.

The positive energies of this Full Moon will bring to light any feelings you or those around you may have been in denial over, creating a safe space to finally allow those important conversations to take place. With Venus having already moved into no-nonsense, serious Saturn on Christmas Day, the sensitive emotional undercurrent the Moon and Water Trine has us travelling could well be given a harsh and grounding reality check. Although there is a strong focus on family and relationships under these influences, Cancer also rules our security and Venus our relationship with money, so expect there to be a real pull towards putting new foundations and structures in place that will support your future security - Saturn and Capricorn help us activate our ambitions here and with real determination. The Full Moon will reveal where you need to take a reality check and how you can make lasting and positive changes to improve your own relationship with money and finances. With Cancer ruling the heart the spiritual message here says - do what you love and see how abundance will flow more easily to you.

Well, if it was possible for Riley to get professional help without trying to commit suicide that would be awesome.

An Introduction to the members of Cosmic Girls/WJSN

Cosmic Girls or WJSN made their debut as a 12 member girl group under Starship Entertainment on February 25th 2016 with their first mini album Would You Like? 

The original 12 members are Seola, Xuan Yi, Bona, Exy, Soobin, Luda, Dawon, Eunseo, Cheng Xiao, Mei Qi, Yeoreum, and Dayoung. Each member represents a star sign. 

After success and popularity on Produce 101 Yoo Yeunjung was officially added to the group on July 11th 2016 and thus Cosmic Girls became a 13 member girl group.

Seola

Real Name: Kim Hyunjung

Position: Lead Vocal, Lead Dancer (Wannabe Rapper, she’s going after Exy’s rap position)

About Seola: She’s the oldest member of the group and has trained the longest of any member (10 years), she’s in love with Soobin although Soobin denies that Seola is her ideal type, even after describing a person that’s basically just like Seola. She’s the self-proclaimed “Dad” of the group and one of her specialities is twerking (I can’t make this stuff up). She promises that in the future she will release a hip hop album with Exy. 

Xuan Yi

Real Name: Wu Xuan Yi

About Xuan Yi: She’s the second oldest of the group but is really hyper and happy all the time. She loooooves kim, it’s about 80% of what she ate during My Cosmic Diary I’m pretty sure. She loves all of the members. She can imitate and look exactly like a gold fish and a rabbit. 

Bona

Real Name: Kim Jiyeon

Birthdate: 1995/08/19

Nationality: Korean

Position: Sub-Vocalist, Lead Dancer, Visual

About Bona: She trained at Cube Entertainment for about 6 years before coming to Starship Entertainment, which is why she is close with BTOB. She’s got one of the tiniest waist I’ve ever seen, I don’t know how it’s possible, probably sorcery. She tends to favor Xuan Yi and Luda, resulting in the ships BoXuan and BonLu, they’re both adorable ships but some people will fight to the death over which one is better. She and Eunseo are close and call themselves the Yeon Sisters, she and Cheng Xiao are adorable together as well.

Exy

Position: Leader, Main Rapper

About Exy: Before WJSN’s debut she appeared on Unpretty Rapstar Vol. 2 and her rap had everyone shooooooook. I recommend watching her performances. She became Cosmic Girls resident girl crush rapper after that, but after debut we found out she’s really girly and adorable, but we still love her anyway. She has a song called “Wipeout” and anytime the members try to suck up they’ll all start singing it. She’s cosmic girls leader but in reality she’s just the tired aunt that the youngest bother, never letting her sleep, but she loves them, although she once threatened to throw Dayoung in the fireplace. 

Soobin

Real Name: Park Soobin

Birthdate: 1996/09/14

Nationality: Korean

Position: Main Vocalist

Representative Star Sign: Virgo

About Soobin: She’s one of the smallest/shortest members in the group she and Luda call themselves the Pocket Girls due to their small size. Despite being so small, she is incredibly loud and once imitated a pterodactyl on weekly idol. Her nickname is the “smiling angel”. She vehemently denies Seola being her ideal type but its obvious that it’s Seola. She’s famous in the fandom for her Sunbae CF’s and her CF laugh, which is slightly terrifying. 

 Luda

Real Name: Lee Luda

Birthdate: 1997/03/06

Nationality: Korean

Position: Sub-Vocalist

Representative Star Sign: Pisces

About Luda: I’m almost positive she has the shortest training period of the members and was one of the last members chosen to be in the group. She used to get Bona to help her out, which stressed Bona out, but she would send her cute messages thanking her. Luda is the smallest of the small and is the smallest member of the group at only 155 cm (5′1″ ish). But don’t let her size fool you, she’s a savage and is often referred to as “Pocket Satan” its the small ones you have to watch out for…

Dawon

Real Name: Nam Dawon

Birthdate: 1997/04/16

Nationality: Korean

Position: Main Vocalist

Representative Star Sign: Aries

About Dawon: She is arguably one of the most under-appreciated members in the group (along with MeiQi). One of the nicknames the fans gave her is Dawonce and for obvious reasons, the girl can sing (give her more lines Starship). She appeared on a show for under-rated girl group members called “Girls Spirit” and killed every performance. I highly recommend watching her performances to gain appreciate for her vocals and if you can make it through her Yanghwa Bridge performance without crying you’re not human. She’s one of the sweetest, most caring members of the group, and deserves lots of love. 

Eunseo

Real Name: Son Juyeon

Birthdate: 1998/05/27

Nationality: Korean

Position: Sub-Vocalist, Lead Dancer

Representative Star Sign: Gemini

About Eunseo: She’s the tallest member of the group and the members often call her a giraffe. She along with Soobin is one of the loudest members of the group. She’s the groups vitamin and has soooo much energy. She’s like a puppy, she really is. She and Cheng Xiao arguably form one of the biggest ships in the group, EunXiao, they’re precious honestly. She’s self-concious about her looks especially her nose, so please refrain from making fun of her about it, it’s not very nice and she even cried at a fan meeting over it, so just don’t. Or I’ll find you…

Cheng Xiao

Real Name: Xiao Cheng Xiao

Birthdate: 1998/07/15

Nationality: Chinese

Position: Main Dancer, Sub-Vocalist, Visual, Face of the Group

About Cheng Xiao: She’s rarely seen with both feet on the ground, she’s always mid-air doing acrobatics. She’s suuuuuper flexible. She’s also quite the meme in some of her fan photos and has earned the nickname Meme Xiao. She’s still learning Korean, but she’s improved a lot due to being on a lot of variety shows. One of her most iconic moments can be found in their reality show when she says, “Babo Wasseo! (An idiot came!)” when she meant to say the food had come. She’s an angel and we as fans must protect Xiao Xiao from the perverts on here (cough tastymotion [please report them often even if its not cosmic girls their page is disgusting]). 

Mei Qi

Real Name: Meng Mei Qi

Birthdate: 1998/10/15

Nationality: Chinese

Position: Main Dancer, Sub-Vocalist

Representative Star Sign: Libra

About Mei Qi: Although Starship categorized her as a sub-vocalist the members often place her in the vocalist line, where she belongs. The proof of her vocal ability can be found in their pre-debut music video “All I Want for Christmas is You” her parts in that had Mariah Carey shook. Despite being one of the other under-appreciated members in the group she has been in 3 movies and was the lead role for two. Be on the lookout for Step Up 6 to come out sometime this year and support Mei Qi! She’s often called “Baby Mei Qi” and "Mei Qi Oppa" by the members.

Yeoreum

Real Name: Lee Jinsook

Birthdate: 1999/01/10

Nationality: Korean

Position: Sub-Vocalist, Lead Rapper

Representative Star Sign: Capricorn

About Yeoreum: Despite being one of the youngest and one of the smaller members, this girl can eat. For most of her screen time in their reality show she was eating something. She’s adorable and although she is the oldest of the maknae (youngest) line, she still refers and introduces herself as the groups youngest member. According to the members the voice she uses and the way she speaks when she is in public or during broadcasts is not the voice she uses or the way she speaks at home. She’s also lovingly nicknamed the “Little Octopus” with Eunseo being the “Big Octopus”. 

Dayoung

Real Name: Im Dayoung

Birthdate: 1999/05/14

Nationality: Korean

Position: Lead Vocalist

About Dayoung: She’s a part of the 99 line or the Maknae line. Despite her age she cooks really well and often makes the members their birthday meal, she and the other members prepared Eunseo’s lunch for the College Entrance Exam. She’s incredibly hyper and is likely the cause of Exy’s lack of sleep (let tired aunt Exy sleep). She gained popularity for looking like Shin Donyeop and even took a selfie with him when she appeared on a show with him (and they do look similar). Because she’s hyper she’s always falling down and getting bruises, be more careful space cadet!

Yeonjung

Real Name: Yoo Yeonjung

Birthdate: 1999/08/03

Nationality: Korean

Position: Main Vocalist

Representative Star Sign: Ophiuchus

About Yeonjung: According to the members Yeonjung was supposed to be one of the original 12 members of the group, but at the last minute was chosen by the company to appear on MNet’s Produce 101. She proved that she was an amazing vocalist and was the last member chosen to be in the group I.O.I. coming in 11th place. She was officially added to Cosmic Girls in July and became their 13th and youngest member. She and Soobin together have their terrifying CF laugh. She’s a sweet baby and needs to be protected at all cost (please don’t put her on a diet Starship).

The monthly horoscope for February 2019 has Mars triggering a few planets but the most important things about this Mars is that it is incredibly potent since it is in one of the signs that it rules, Aries. Venus is also busy too, conjuncting three points in Capricorn. Those cardinal signs are really getting the best out of the planets of love and sex. This is also the month of St Valentine of course! We are coming out of the frosty months of winter and there is a slight glimmer of sap rising from the earth. February can feel like a bit of a nothing month since it is neither Spring nor does it have the sparkle of Christmas or the New Year. But I guess they had to find an excuse to sell cards so Valentine’s day fills the void of dull, rainy days nicely.

February Astrology ~ Valentine’s Special

So we start with Mars square Pluto which is incredibly predatory, very handy if you are in pursuit of a date for February 14. Mars square Pluto marries sex with power since the dynamism of the hard aspect will pull out these planets most domineering qualities. Negatively this aspect makes the bully or ruthless dictator. However more positively it endows steel guts and the deep courage of a survivor.

Sexually this is a bit of a humdinger. Anyone touched by this aspect will need to channel this furious energy into physical exercise if they do not have a partner. But even if they DO have a partner, one may not be enough as Mars in Aries is going to make Pluto more sexually obsessive voracious. So yes, beware of stalkers leading up to Valentine’s day.

This is a very nice month for love, Valentines or not though as Venus makes an exciting trine to Uranus on February 2before this planet moves into Taurus for the next seven years. Passionate farewells may be on the cards during this time, but also new starts. Mars conjunct Eris on February 3 could see some apple bombs being thrown by a spurned lover. “Hell hath no fury” when Eris is wronged or exiled. This can also surface as narcissistic rage if one has managed to escape the prison of Mars square Pluto.

Sun conjunct Lilith on February 9 plays out as the ego feeling exiled from the dominant cultural system. Sometimes this is as a result of actual abuse from authority figures. The closer Lilith gets to the Sun the more it feels eclipsed. At this time certain people are demonised for revealing the shadows at work in the world. But those touched by this aspect must be careful they don’t fall for the forbidden fruit of drugs to numb the pain of feeling like an outcast.

February Monthly Horoscope Aspect ~ Valentine’s Grenade

The day before Valentine’s day could see some bombs dropped with Mars conjunct Uranusat on February 13, hopefully, this with only be metaphorical. Someone could admit to an affair or come clean that they have been living a lie concerning their choice of partner. Uranus can be confused over its sexuality also so some could admit that they have feelings for someone of the same sex or be confused about their gender. Maybe this comes out In the news with a prominent person, though these days it is not the big scandal it once was.

Over to Venus now as she makes some power conjunctions with Saturn, Pluto and the South Node in quick succession. But she starts with a dreamy sextile to Neptune on February 17. It reads like the start of a romantic novel really. The euphoric, poetic start then on February 18 Venus conjunct Saturn wants to know if this is real or just fantasy. Venus conjunct Pluto on February 22 things get very intense and maybe become more physical. That way Pluto has got under Venus’s skin.

On February 26 Venus conjunct the South Node is looking back to the past and wondering if this new relationship is karmic and/or from a past life. Whatever is your Capricorn house will give you some idea what style this romantic novel will take. Eight houses will be gothic and dark, the seventh house could ring serious wedding bells while the tenth house could just be an office fling. The new solar year is upon us as the Earth begins her to tilt back toward the Sun, signifying the completion of another life cycle before the emergence of spring. For thousands of years the Winter Solstice has been celebrated around the world—acknowledging the shortest day of the year as a return to light, a return to innocence; a rebirth along the wheel of life as the great world continues to spin.

This spiritual homecoming has metamorphosed into what we know in Western cultures as Christmas on December 25. Long before that, the Pagan festival Saturnalia had marked the start of winter, as did the birthday of the “invincible” sun god Sol Invictus during the golden age of the Roman Empire. In Ancient Egypt, January 6 was first recognized as winter’s coming, which was later adopted by Christianity as the Feast of the Epiphany.

In modern times, this solar standstill falls on December 21, coinciding with the start of Capricorn season in astrology. During this cycle, we are invited to realign with our goals and ideals as we look toward the new year ahead—despite the chaos of the holiday season as the calendar turns. Capricorn is symbolized by the unusual paradox that is the Sea Goat, a testament to the persistent energy of this ambitious, yet grounded earth sign. Through the ritual of practice, the intentions we set in motion will inevitably become second nature, as old layers, habits and selves begin to fall away in this great unraveling toward the Self; our truest nature. And like a seed, an intention must be planted, nourished and given patience. But an intention cannot grow if we cling to it—it must be released outwardly to make itself known to the universe.

Activate your intentions for the new year by turning inward and awakening your inner fire; by learning to see in the proverbial dark. Think of the Winter Solstice as the fourth and final movement of your 2017 life-symphony, and try these six yoga circuits: a series of dynamic, core-powered sequences to amplify your practice. Synchronize your breath to movement that’s strong and intuitive. Go slowly, and let go of what no longer serves you so that you may clear the slate for all that is coming your way.

SEQ I. Ancient Eye Activation

Movement: Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward Dog) split to high lunge variations.

Straighten the front leg to lift the arms overhead and look up to the heavens. Re-bend through the front knee and release arms outwardly to either side, looking toward the future. Repeat, then reach the back arms up again and return to high lunge. Twist, drawing the navel in toward the spine. Place the left hand down and reach the right hand up.

Optional: Place the right palm at the back of the neck and lean into it for support, inviting more space to flow into your heart. Bring your hands down to frame the front foot and then step back to Downward Dog split before lowering the foot to switch sides.

SEQ II.  Pyramid Power

Movement: Parsvottanasana (Pyramid Pose) variations to explore hips and hamstrings with buoyancy.

Turn to a wide stance and fold forward, then cross the left elbow over the right and turn the inner elbows out. Turn the heels turn in and toes out. Root to rise: Bend the knees and maintain a long spine as you look forward. Ground into the fingertips and balls of the feet, gathering earthly energy.

Optional: Walk your hands around to the front foot before switching sides, or continue walking the hands all the way to the left to frame the back foot and move into the other side.

SEQ III. Phoenix Rising

Movement: Bound Utkatasana (Chair Pose) to Warrior variations.

Sit low and dive forward, sweeping the hands behind the sacrum and interlacing the fingers, drawing the heels of the palms closer together. Lift halfway, and then shift weight into the right foot, wrapping the back of the left hand at the right side of the waist, hands still interlaced.

Root to rise: Bring the left knee to lift to 90 degrees and then step back to a high lunge, maintaining the clasping of the hands at the right waist. Use the left forearm as a shelf to support the low back for a slight backbend. Lift tall through the heart, then use the back of the left palm to guide the hips to the left and open the arms wide into Virabhadrasana II (Warrior II). Reach hands overhead to Flying Warrior and straighten the legs, then sink to re-bend the front knee.

Reach up first and then reverse, lifting through the heart for Viparita Virabhadrasana (Reverse Warrior). Windmill the hands to shift forward for supported Virabhadrasana III, fingertips to earth. Spine is lengthening; core is engaged. Use the breath to bring in the knee toward your nose. Root to rise: Return to stand, and then sink back into Utkatasana to prepare for the other side.

SEQ IV. Fly Like an Eagle

Movement: High lunge on the right side, lifting and lowering, to Garundasana (Eagle Pose).

Eagle wrap arms (left over right), as you lift and lower. Stabilize the hips and shift forward, flying like an eagle. Bring knee to nose and root to rise; the left knee lifts to 90 degrees.

Slowly descend into Garundasana, wrapping left leg over right. Unwind and send the left foot back, keeping the heart lifted. Land in high lunge and unravel the arms overhead. If at first you don’t succeed, remember: Repetition creates an opportunity to try again. Switch sides.

SEQ V. Center of the Cyclone

Movement: Natarajasana (Dancer’s Pose) to Half Moon (Ardha Chandrasana) variations.

Shift weight into the right foot and lift the left knee to 90 degrees. Stabilize, and then swing the foot back to arrive in Natarajasana; a warrior’s calm amidst the storm. Engage quadriceps of the standing leg to micro-bend the knee. Bend the knee a little more and lean forward with the heart.

Continue to lengthen the torso and hinge at the waist to lower the fingertips to the earth. Keep hold of the left foot or ankle, and rotate the chest upward for Chapasana (Sugarcane Pose). Open to Ardha Chandrasana. Square hips to supported Warrior III, activating through the tips of all ten fingers as the breath guides the knee back in toward the nose. Root to rise: Return to a standing position.

Optional: Swing the foot back again and repeat, observing what you’ve learned along the way. You just might surprise yourself. Switch sides.

SEQ VI. Open Sesame

Movement: A core-strengthening transition of Downward Dog to Camatkarasana (Wild Thing).

Out and in, opening and closing. In a high plank position, float the hips in line with the low ribs. Take the pose out of the upper body and power it through the abdominal wall and into the legs. Explore a slight bend to the knees. Feel bouncy and boundless. Stack shoulders over wrists and shift weight into the right hand, stacking the hips and spinning of the bottom of the lower right ribs under, lengthening through the crown and entering Vasisthasana (Side Plank). Pause, and then step the ball of the left foot back and bend through the leg as the left hand lifts toward the heavens. Embody your inner Rock Star.

Optional: Place the left palm at the back of the neck and lean into it for support as you offer your heart’s wishes to the universe. Keep the right shoulder stabilized over the right wrist, and press down into all four corners of each palm. Flip over and return to Downward Dog, and then repeat on the other side.

Now rest. Open the doorways to inner perception and release. Reconnect to your reserves and rejuvenate, as you prepare to celebrate and hibernate.
