alright Laserhawk Nation, I come to you all with update NUMERO UNO aka:

• CAPTAIN LASERHAWK (THE MUSICAL) UPDATE #1

PROGRESS PEOPLE, PROGRESS. Very small, minuscule progress, but progress indeed!

As of now, I am working on the song for when Rayman and bullfrog finally meet, (because FUCK making the musical in order,) and working on some concepts for songs for Rayman's numerous breakdown scenes. (Such as the call with the Board of Directors, when he gets the message telling him to find Bullfrog, and the infamous bathroom scene.)

I'm really hyped for when I get to make the costumes. The Board of Directors' masks are gonna be really fun, same with Red's helmet. Also making all of the weapons, Eden guard/security/army masks, animal parts/accessories (horns, tails, wings, etc.) for the hybrids, and the prosthetic limbs will be so tedious, but so worth it! :)

Also visuals!! DEDSEC's place, the huge megacity scapes, the wasteland, Supermaxx, the weird Rayman driving simulator... all of it is gonna be super fun and exciting to map out in the future, when I get this shit up and runnin on a big stage! (that probably won't happen but a girl can dream lmao)

I'll try to update when I can, but progress is pretty slow, considering I am but a girl (teehee)

BUT progress is progress, and I will update whenever there is a breakthrough (or something cool)

SO if you go to the Captain Laserhawk listing on Netflix it has 2 promo clips up. One of the trailer and the other is a looping gif with music with the main cast and OUR BABY BEAN BOY LAUGHING ON A FLOATING SCREEN IN THE BG.

This…is a LOT. We had some flashes in the trailer of Rayman being part of this world but this not only confirms him being in the show as a character but his inclusion with the main cast seems to suggest he has a bigger role than just an Easter egg for Ubisoft nerds.

Also @ikkeforeal honed in on this

Eden is apparently the ‘big bad’ of the show so we can assume Rayman is either a bad guy or working for them (which makes sense given the topsy turvy nature of the show and the characters), but how big his role will be is still up in the air.

I am just….SO INTRIGUED. MY HEART. I CANNOT.

God I’m so hype for this show it’s not even funny. I don’t even care if Rayman is a mob boss or slimy corporate shill, I’m so excited. Plus the animation in the trailer looks SO YUMMY.

i originally just wanted to play around with the designs of keroro platoon's members by adding some details.. but if i'm posting this here i can also list my hcs for our favorite space frogs! i don't like how mine yoshizaki gave them all the exact same height and weight.. be more creative!!

i hc that 55cm (~1.8ft) and 5kg (~11lbs) that mine yoshizaki used in the guide for keroro platoon are average height and weight for keronians and not keroro platoon members' actual measurements, use this for comparison!

they all have paws btw!! ^^ and i gave them eyelashes similar to those of bullfrog's from captain laserhawk

feel free to interpret giroro's, tamama's, dororo's and kururu's scars however you want!! :) i personally see most of them as battle scars
