Velvette was busy. This was not an unusual thing, rather her default state. Between running her fashion studio to the same exacting pace as she had her brand on Earth, and her collaboration with the other Vees, every minute that was not scheduled was filled with the continual hustle of keeping her name trending on every social media platform in hell.

The caption: "Starting my day off bright with a septuple shot caramel machiato from Starharts! Catch me if you can, bitches <3 #Velvette #sweetspeed" appended her morning coffee selfie as she stepped out of the shop and into the unusually clean streets of Pentagram City. That night's acid rain had eaten away all the residual grime and various humours that tended to decorate the city, owing the general violence of the population.

She was not looking where she was going. She didn't have to. She was an overlord. People saw her coming, and they got out of the way, sometimes to the point of stepping into traffic.

So it came as a complete surprise to her when she bumped into someone. The impact of her elbow against their thigh was enough to send her highly caffeinated sugary confection flying out of her hand, the lid shooting off as it hit the sidewalk and splattering both her and her hapless assailant with iced coffee.

"Oi! Watch yourself!" she exclaimed in amazed effrontery. "Who the fuck do you think you are... your highness?" she added in hesitant confusion, her eyes following those long legs up an elegantly dressed body and into the face of a goddamned Goetia.

Fuck. He was probably just as used to people getting out of his way as she was.

hi, i know i dont post much & im kind of a lurker(a shit poster at most) but i just wanted to say im shocked at the lack of posts about whats happening in palestine. for a platform filled with progressives & was literally mocked for years bc of users posting about humanitarian rights, i never wouldve expected this level of silence. i understand most people are probably wanting a platform for just amusement, but think about how the people in gaza feel.

you think they have the luxury to sit & read fanfiction when their homes & shelters are literally being bombed?

im a HUGE marvel fan, it's a major long lasting hyperfixation of mine, but one thing i will not be paying to see the Marvels, or any new marvel/disney projects, in theaters bc disney needs to know that we as consumers do not approve of them putting the money they have earned FROM US into funding a literal genocide.

i love getting an iced chai or caramel machiato from starbucks, but they will not be getting a single cent from me until they stop suing their employees for showing support for palestinians.

boycott these shitty brands who have made it clear they do not have our best interests at heart & will use the money they get from us to fund devastation across the world .fuck these companies, they are not necessities & youre selfish for continuing to give them money when there are other(& lets be honest, better) options

Okay so I'm back (not sure for how long) but I need an answer to this and it amazes me I can't find it on the internet already. Seriously, everyone in the Miracuclass has to be subsisting on caffeine during some days right? How has NOBODY made a list of what their coffee orders would be? How is that NOT a widely available story writing tool?

I'd make it myself but, wouldn't you know it? I have no idea when it comes to coffee. I've even tried googling what stereotypical orders would be and still get nothing that helps... So I'm putting it out here. Further explanation under the cut.

Why do I need the entire class's coffee order? Because it's important in my story. Why am I being so obsessive for a story nobody else but me will ever see? Because if I don't get this exactly right it will completely ruin the scene and drive me insane.

Here's the setup, OC Faybon is in this new world with villain Chat and a very late night Akuma has kept everyone awake. Determined to make an impression on everyone that he's not the same Faybon they remember he got coffee for the class. Cue everyone being shocked at the guy they've all barely spoken to, getting every single one of their coffee orders exactly right, Ms Bustier and Lila included.

Here's my thoughts just based on the (very very) little I know about coffee:

Rose would probably have something naturally sweet but without any additives (Im thinking something with honey maybe?) Due to the fact she's sweet enough already and has health problems.

Juleka? I keep wanting to say a caramel machiato but I have no idea what a machiato is. I only say caramel because it's still sweet but a bit richer. Going for that "darker" tone of hers.... Okay just googled the machiato and I feel like that may fit better for someone like Mylene but I'm leaving that up to you anyway.

Speaking of Mylene I'm imagining hers to be a similar order to Rose (somebody's getting a similar order to Rose because she (or anyone really) needs to bring up that she doesn't take sugar only for someone else to say they do. Hey Faybon's sleep deprived in this too, he got the orders right he's allowed to screw up handing them out.)

I'm thinking Chloe would probably be the one with a frappuccino. What comes before that is anyone's guess.

Sabrina? Either just a regular coffee or maybe a latte?

This is where I start hitting the wall. Miss Bustier's is decaf something since she's pregnant in this world too. Max, Alix or Kim would probably also have a decaf or maybe an iced something? Max because of the whole caffeine isn't good for your brain and Alix and Kim because they're athletes.

I have no idea what Alya or Nino would want. Same with Ivan. Nathaniel may want something sweet as well? And Zoe may also go for either a latte or something simple due to her time in new York. With a splash of honey because she's currently coming off a very bad cold and her throat is killing her.

Lila is given a whole allergenic soy based thing, because Faybon just KNOWS she would pull something, and yet will not say a word when the cup she's given is actually her preferred coffee. Though she will look at Faybon warily.

As for the two heroes? Marinette gets hers early so it doesn't really matter but yes, it is stacked with espresso shots. While Adrien gets something almost as caffeinated but with extra cream. Not necessarily because it's part of his order but because Faybon just finds the idea of it hilarious.

Ozzie is not a big fan of coffee. But he likes it if it's very sweet. Caramel Machiato and things like that.

Its the hour before sunrise, my favorite time of the day.

I'm at home sinking into my recliner in the breezeway,

There's a lemon scented citronella candle flickering on the coffee table.

It certainly does help in keeping the mosquitoes from bothering my exposed skin.

I have a standing fan in the corner, it sweeps a 45 degree angle and teases me with cool air every 5 seconds.

I like to listen to soft and slow instrumental jazz on mornings like this, and this time it's Paul Desmond.

Music like this soothes my mind, it's just so soft and dreamy.

Each to their own I suppose.

I just like to sit here and watch the night fade away, just passively observing the sky between the trees become lighter.

I'm mostly surrounded by pine, oak, sycamore and palm trees.

It seems in my neighborhood that there are more trees than people.

Eventually, sunlight stretches across my driveway and yard and brings the three houses into view from my seated perspective.

I also like to listen to the birds chirping, chattering and squawking.

I'm drinking Maxwell House coffee flavored with Caramel Machiato creamer.

I'm not thinking of anything, I'm just watching and feeling the morning come into view.

Sometimes where I live, it's so quiet, you can literally hear a pin drop.

“i can hear you judging before i even have to look at you.” jihoon says as he stirs his iced americano, with the few extra shots of espresso. he doesn’t really dare look up at the other right now, hunching slightly over his reusable cup and continuing to move the straw around it. it had been a rough few weeks now, schedules were never ending and he found himself in the talks of a new project before he could even comprehend it. he needed the extra shots in his drink right now. he also needs to not be judged, but he can work with that.

he takes a slow and long sip, eventually looking up at the other and a sheepish smile pulling on his lips “i think caffeine has lost its hold on me, i need to go on a detox.” he says, before leaning back in his seat. they were in some small café, quite early in the morning actually. jihoon himself is surprised he managed to squeeze in his usual workout before this, he doesn’t really want to think about the rest of his day would do, he just knew he was busy. “you think another shot would do the job or i should actually detox from coffee and energy drinks?” the dancer asks, because really… another shot sounded a lot better than detoxing. “i’m being serious here, i need answers i don’t have.”
