Up until I went traipsing around youtube for random logo vids in middle school/early high school, I didn't know just HOW LONG good ol F.H.E. was in business. I had two christmas special tapes back then that were released around the late 80s and another one from the early 90s, so my kid self only saw the yellow 80s variant and the 90s paintbrush one.
Yeah, you can tell this was made on a real low budget like a LOT of vhs company logos in the early 80s. It's sometimes called the soda pop variant and for good reason imo. The big computer generated ball of light makes me think of fizzy pop and the popping bleeps and bloops sound almost exactly like the sound a glass of ginger ale would make immediately after pouring it, only with the audio increased by a lot.

Some: Timeline of TV Shows I Watched
These are the content and media I consumed over the last nearly two decades: Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, ABC Family (Freeform), CW, CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, Food Network, HGTV, MTV, Ion Television, qubo, streaming services, and YouTube. Disney Channel: I watched live around 2007 to 2015 via cable. My earliest memory of Disney Channel is unknown. But I love the sitcoms from this…

Ron Dicker at HuffPost:
Scott Pelley recapped the Cabinet picks of President-elect Donald Trump in the “60 Minutes” opening Sunday, enraging MAGA supporters despite the segment’s recitation of facts. (Watch the video below.) The summary “is exactly why no one respects the legacy media anymore,” one person complained on X, formerly Twitter. “Pure Democratic propaganda,” griped another. Pelley, a correspondent, began by noting “some nominees appear to have no compelling qualifications other than loyalty to Trump.” He pointed out defense secretary nominee Pete Hegseth’s lack of government experience and recent gig as a Fox News morning host; the investigation into attorney general nominee Matt Gaetz’s alleged sex with a minor; and the vaccine skepticism of health and human services nominee Robert F. Kennedy Jr. “It’s up to the new Republican majority in the Senate to decide whether these nominees are equipped to represent the American people,” Pelley concluded.
The opening of the most recent 60 Minutes episode that aired on CBS Sunday has triggered MAGA cultists because it factually reported what a few of Donald Trump’s cabinet members of his 2nd term are and did, and co-host Scott Pelley rightly noted that “some nominees appear to have no compelling qualifications other than loyalty to Trump.”
