I still think I want to start out with a dog first, but gosh, even that's a commitment I'm not sure on at the moment. I do think Janus would make a great dad. To a puppy or a human."

Roman tapped his fingers against his phone, anxiously staring between the screen and the doorway. He needed to leave soon and continue his mission, he only had one open spot where he could attack, but he couldn't do it. Not before hearing about Virgils position. It was a rough attack, but Logan had assured he could find the information needed to locate Virgil. Logan would find him.

His phone lit up with a musical tune, the ring startled Roman. He jumped and nearly dropped his phone. He fumbled a little, but quickly pressed accept and brought it up to his ear.

"Well?" He breaths, heart hammering hard against his chest as he waited.

Logan cleared his throat. "Virgil survived." He confirms, his tone detached yet, Roman could barely tell, his body sagging in relief at such information.

"Oh thank Disney! I-" Roman felt his voice crack a little before he shook his head with a breathless laugh. "Alright, I have to go, thank you Logan."

Logan stared at his phone as it disconnected. He let it fall in his lap while Patton ran a hand over his shoulder. He shrugged it off, pressing his lips together.

"I shouldn't have done that." He murmurs slowly. Patton shakes his head.

"Roman will save the city," His voice trembles as he talks, breaking at the end. Logan inhales sharply. "Its...it's for the city."

"It's logical," Logan chokes. "I know."

Chubby arms wrap around his shoulders and he doesn't bother to push them off, tightening his grip on his phone.

It's over.

Roman had saved the city from the villian once again, having them thrown in prison once and for all. He returned to the base, energy soaring his veins, skipping excitingly. His muscles burned but it was worth it to come home to his beloved thunderstorm.

Though, he does say, walking into the living area, everyone seemed to have grim looks on their faces.

He paused for a moment, his accomplishments seeming to die where he stood, an eery dread running through him as he eyed the group.

Virgil was nowhere to be found.

He frowned, eyeing Logan, who didn't, dare say, couldn't look at him and took a step closer. "What's with all the sour looks?" He asks, furrowing his brow before letting out a cheerless laugh. "Did Remus pour too much lemon juice into the cake again?" He tries to lift the tension, yet his humor falls flat, and he watches as Logan takes in a sharp breath before standing abruptly. All eyes fall on him, and he steps forward. Roman watches as he takes on his professional posture and frowns further.

"Logan?"

"Missles had hit the foundation of the northern building, erupting in a powerful explosion that took few lives but caused many injuries."

"Logan-" Roman begins, clenching his fists as he continued with his monotone discussion, and a sinking feeling in his chest knew where this was going.

"Remus managed to deter anymore destruction from being done. Unfortunately, as the scavengers were searching for casualties..." Logan seemed to choke on his words and Roman felt his fists tremble.

"Where is he?" He grinds out. "Where's Virgil?!"

"He's dead Roman."

Roman chokes on nothing, his heart screeching to a stop while his blood drew cold. He shook his head and pointed a finger at the man.

"You said he was alive!" He snaps, tears burning at his eyes as pure fury scorched his insides. "He's alive! I don't believe you!"

"Roman," Janus tries softly. "Logan had to tell you he was alive. It would have compromised the mission. It's protocol."

"Screw protocol!" Roman sneers. "Where is he?!"

"Virgil is dead." Logan says firmer this time, as if his hands weren't trembling by their sides. "He died Roman. He's gone. The building collapsed on top of him, there was no saving-"

Roman punched Logan Square in the jaw.

An Analogince Proposal💜💙❤️

Summary: Roman, Logan, and Virgil have been dating for two years. The princely side is now determined to propose to his boyfriends, so hopefully it goes well.

Roman slowly walks towards the stairs, taking calming breaths. This could be the best or worst moment of his life. Patton and Janus are off helping Thomas, and Remus is causing chaos in the imagination. This gives the princely side plenty of time to conduct his plan.

Roman stops for a moment before heading downstairs. He checks in his pocket, making sure the ring box is in there nicely. Roman is going to propose to his boyfriends, Logan and Virgil, today. They’ve been dating for two years now, and Roman couldn’t be happier. He knows his boyfriends aren’t opposed to the idea of marriage in general. They’ve watched many romance movies together during date nights, and all enjoy a good wedding scene. Hopefully they won’t be opposed to the idea of marrying him.

Roman takes one final calming breath before heading down the stairs and entering the living room. Logan and Virgil are both sitting next to each on the couch. The logical side is reading a book, while the anxious side is scrolling on his phone. Roman smiles at the sight of his boyfriends before announcing his presence.

“Greetings, my loves.”

Logan and Virgil look up at the princely side and both smile softly at him.

“Hey, Princey.”

“Salutations, Roman.”

Roman smiles again and walks closer to the couch, stopping in front of his boyfriends. The creative side then starts to say what he’s rehearsed for this very moment.

“My darlings, we’ve been together for two years now and I’ve been enjoying every second we spend together. I love going on dates with you, cuddling you, kissing you, and talking about poetry, books, musicals, and movies with you. I want to be able to do these things with you both for the rest of my life, so I have just one question for you two.”

Roman gets down on one knee and pulls out the ring box from his pocket. He opens it up to reveal two rings. They’re silver with red, blue, and purple gems in them. The princely side then says the question.

“Will you marry me?”

Roman looks at both of his boyfriends, trying to read their faces. Logan looks happy but slightly confused. Virgil looks like he’s nervous and excited. The emo’s eyeshadow has even turned that sparkly purple that Roman loves seeing so much. Logan ends up being the first to break the silence.

“Roman, my star, I’d be very happy to marry you. But you do realize marriage isn’t necessary for us to be figuratively bonded together. We’re already as connected as figuratively and literally possible, considering we are the Sides of one person. We are bonded together no matter what.”

Roman looks at the logical side with a slightly less happy expression on his face.

“So you don’t want to get married then…?”

Logan frowns, regretting his previous comment.

“No, that’s not it. I want to marry you, Roman. I just wanted you to know that if you’re just proposing because you think this is the only way to figuratively bond us together, that I already consider us bonded. Married or not, I want to always be by your side. But if you truly want to be officially married, I’m happy to do so.”

Roman’s face brightens up and he smiles at his logical love, before glancing over at his emo. Virgil is fidgeting with his hoodie sleeves, and looks down at his shoes when he notices Roman’s gaze is now on him.

“Princey…I’d love to marry you, but are you sure you really wanna be married to me. Yeah, you like dating me, but what if once you marry me you realize you’re actually tired of dealing with me and all my worries. I don’t want you to feel stuck with me when you end up realizing I’m too much to deal with.”

Roman grabs one of Virgil’s hands with his free hand, the one not holding the ring box.

“My Emo Knight, you could never be too much for me. I want to be there by your side, whether you’re feeling glittery or gloomy. I want to support you and love you.”

Virgil covers his eyes with his free hand and mumbles.

“Princey, you’re going to make me cry with how sappy you’re being…”

“I hope you mean happy tears, J.D-lightful.”

“Yes, Sir-Sing-A-Lot. I mean happy tears. And to answer your question from before, yes, I’ll marry you.”

Roman puts the ring box down on the ground before getting up from his kneeled position on the floor, and pulls his emo into a hug. The creative side holds his emo gently before glancing at Logan and motioning for him to join th hug. The logical side joins his boyfriends in the embrace and they all feel content in this moment, not wanting it to end. The calm silence is eventually broken by Logan leaving the hug and speaking up.

“So Virgil, my moonlight, will you marry me? Since we’re both now engaged to Roman, I feel like it’s safe to assume that we’d also take the next step in our relationship and get married as well. I don’t have a ring for you, but I can get you one when I get the chance.”

“Yes, L, I’ll marry you too. Don’t worry about not having a ring, worrying is my job. If we get Roman a matching ring then the rings he got us can represent all three of us being engaged to each other.”

The princely side claps his hands and jumps up in excitement.

“That’s a perfect idea Virgil! I can create a matching ring now.”

Roman makes another ring for himself and hands it to Virgil.

“J.D-lightful, you or Logan can do the honors of placing the ring on my finger and I shall do the same for you two.”

The now fiancés proceed to place the rings on each others’ fingers and share a few kisses. The three of them then settle down on the couch and put on a movie to watch together. Roman smiles to himself, happy with how his proposal played out, and excited for the future wedding he would have with his loves.

End Notes: Thanks for reading! I was originally just going to make a headcannon about how I thought an Analogince proposal would play out, but I got the idea to write out a short fic and this was the result. I might write out a part 2 to this that’s the wedding, but I don’t know for sure. If anything, I might just draw Analogince on their wedding day since I’m getting outfit ideas. Relationship Map for The Blood That Binds- A Sanders Sides X Vampire the Masquerade AU

There's a title now!!! From now on, posts under this project be titled and tagged with The Blood That Binds.

2 weeks ago I posted a poll asking if people would like to see Character Profiles or a Relationship Map first. The results showed a majority rule for the Relationship Map, which I am sharing today! But! I will be uploading the Character Profiles as well some time between now and the publishing of Chapter 1 (which I do still plan to release on Halloween).

Anyway, I've rambled enough- HERE'S THE MAP

So I know this is an absolute mess to look at so let me further explain how it's set up. Each character has their own color (I am aware of the shade similarity between Patton/Logan and Roman/Thomas but I genuinely couldn't think what other colors to use). The symbols next to most characters are their Clan Symbol- which I will further explain in the Character Profiles.

Characters connected by solid lines have interacted directly at least once. Characters connected by arrows have not interacted, but will interact in the beginnings of the tale. Below the cut, I've included some further explanations of the relationships.

Patton and Virgil

This is the dynamic that made me want to write this story in the first place. In this AU, Patton is Virgil's biological father. Through a misfortune that will be explained later on, Patton became a vampire when Virgil was still a baby (late 90s). Virgil grew up in the city believing his father to have passed away, all while Patton has been silently observing him from the shadows. At the time where our story takes place, Virgil has returned to the city after a little over 6 years away. And Patton is going to have a totally normal and rational reaction to seeing his son again.

Roman and Thomas

I knew I wanted to toy around with the supernatural power dynamic of a Sire Bond. And I knew I wanted Thomas specifically to be someone's Sire. In the context of the story, Roman was once Thomas' love, and was given the gift of immortality as a means to stay together forever. Thomas himself was still quite new to vampirism, and he quickly grew to regret making Roman. In the modern day, Roman is more like a lackey to Thomas. Following his beck and call in hopes of earning his favor once again. It has been over 70 years, and still Roman very much has the desperate hero vibes about him.

Roman and Virgil

Roman has spotted Virgil, and where the story picks up, he's beginning to close in. The only issue is he can't decide what exactly he'll do once he gets close to Virgil. He could make him a mindless Blood Slave. He could string him out as a forlorn lover. He could recruit him to his vampiric faction, as either a Bonded Ghoul or a fledgling vampire. His decision will drastically reform the dynamics of all those around him. But he's a little too lovestruck to realize the potential damage he could cause.

Logan and Patton

A healthy relationship?? In my toxic vampire romance? Yes, actually. Logan found Patton as a terrified fledgling who'd been abandoned by his Sire. Having roughly two decades of vampiric knowledge to rely on, Logan was quick to lend his talents to guide Patton. It became rather apparent that Patton did not take well to vampirism, and Logan's levelheadedness eased him into his new existence. In the modern nights, the two are inseparable. This is mostly at Patton's request, as he begins to grow paranoid in Logan's absence.

Janus and Remus

Janus is power-hungry and Remus is easily controlled. Janus has a few years of seniority over Remus, which he is quick to remind him of. Remus is also the only character who is beginning the story already Blood Bound. He has been Janus' thrall for since the 80s, and after spending over 30 years unbound, he just feels grateful to be noticed. He thinks being close to Janus gets him closer to Roman gets him closer to the command and power he truly craves. He views his Bond as a necessary evil. Janus views it as a means of controlling a scary guard dog.

Janus and Thomas

These two are both members of the Inner Circle, a sort of Sect within the Sect of the Camarilla. Those in the Inner Circle often interact directly with the Prince of the city (or whoever is in command) as well as following out any jurisdiction placed by the Prince. Janus and Thomas entered the Camarilla at roughly the same time, as well as being welcomed to the Inner Circle during the same night of Elysium. Their specific roles within the inner circle will be explained later.

Janus has always viewed Thomas as a potential adversary, believing that their power and influence combined could be immensely beneficial to the Camarilla. Thomas, on the other hand, is extremely jealous of Janus. He believes that their parallel rise to power is building up to an ultimate showdown where one of them will be forced to overtake the other. And he does not intend for Janus to have the advantage.

Remus and Logan

Remus has a 20 year advantage on Logan. At the time of their meeting, they were both strays who were not bound to any vampiric Sect. Remus viewed Logan as a fellow outcast, someone with skill and poise that could prove a useful asset in his major goals. Logan viewed himself as superior to Remus, believing his pragmatic approach to vampirism made him more appealing. They had a messy breakup, to put it lightly, and neither of them have made any attempt to reconnect.

Roman and Remus

These two are still canonically twin brothers. There's a lot to explain, which I will cover in better detail in each of their Character Profiles. But to summarize here: Roman became a vampire first, and has believed Remus to have passed away after being deployed during WWII. However, Remus did return home after the war, and had heard whispers of his brother joining a "secret society". Efforts to find Roman ultimately lead to Remus becoming a vampire himself. Rather than wallow over what had become his fate, Remus has instead spent the last few decades working to use his abilities as a means of finding Roman and taking all that he is.

I’m with you actually. I really like how the Sanders Sides ship names mostly use characteristics from both sides’ aesthetic/role rather than name and I feel like Dukeceit would’ve expressed who they both are as characters better than Demus.

As you were standing in front of the Sides house, it occurred to you for the fifteenth time that day that Natemare, your boyfriend, had never met the Sides. You didn’t know if they’d even get along.

The reason you were here other than introduce him to your friends was to see your best friend of many years, Virgil. He was an anxious guy, but somehow you were closest to him out of the Sides rather than one would probably expect your best friend to be, like Logan or Patton.

But Anxiety was the one who you were closest to. You’d known Virgil for around five years, since Thomas had invited you over saying that he “wanted you to meet a few people.” It turned out that those people were parts of himself. 

You sighed, and knocked on the door, then turning to Mare. “It won’t be that long, usually Roman- Creativity gets the door within a few seconds,” 

“Yeah? Wellll, I can’t help but notice it’s taking a few more than that, isn’t it Y/N?” He said sarcastically, looking around the outside of the house. Oh yeah, he’d for sure get along with Virgil. 

Around ten seconds later Roman opened the door, and he smiled at the sight of you. He called out to the other Sides, “Y/N IS HERE!!!”

Then he looked back at you and his eyes turned to Mare. “Ohh, who is this now? Your lover? What’s his name? How did you meet-“ 

“Roman!! Shut!!!” You said, interrupting him. That man never stopped with his romance questions if he figured one was interested in it. 

“Awww… fine, I’ll save them for later. But do I at least get to know his name?” Roman said.

You looked over at Mare, and he smiled.

“I’m Natemare, but if you want you can call me Mare,” He told Roman, shaking his hand. 

“Well.. come in! Virgil will be happy to see you, Y/N!” Roman said, moving out of the way. 

“Who’s Virgil?” Mare asked you as you both walked into the house.

“He’s my best friend,” You answered.

“And you’ve never introduced me to him? Shame upon you,” He said jokingly, “How dare you not introduce me to everyone you know.” 

“Shut up,” you said, laughing a little. 

“Hmm… no!” He replied. “Y’know, I am curious as to who the other Sides are. Roman was certainly a… character,” 

“That’s just how he is,” you said. You then saw Logan, Patton and Janus hanging out in the living room, playing some kind of board game.

Patton looked up first, and pretty much shouted in excitement. “Y/N! You’re here! I’m so happy, it’s been way too long,” 

“Patton, it has been two weeks since Y/N has last visited.” Logan said, placing a piece on the board. Janus looked at you, slightly smiling, and then he looked at Mare.

“Oh, great, there are two emos here now.. I’m so thrilled,” He said, and he rolled his eyes.

“You remind me of my younger brother,” Mare said to Janus. 

“Amazing,” Janus said flatly. Patton then went up to Mare.

“What’s your name? Are you human? Also, I’m Patton, Thomas’s Morality, Logan is his Logic and Janus is his… Deceit,” He said. 

“I’d suggest stopping with the rampant questions, Patton, he’s already been questioned enough by Roman,” Logan said.

“It’s okay. I’m Natemare, and no, I’m not human. I’m a siren,” Mare answered Patton. 

“Like the beings that lured sailors to their deaths in Greek Mythology?” Logan asked. 

Mare nodded, “Exactly. Most people I meet get scared when they hear that, so it’s kind of new that people aren’t.. you know, trembling and backing away just because of that.” 

“It wouldn’t be nice to judge you based on what you are!” Patton said, smiling once more. 

“Hypocrite,” Janus quietly said with anger while out of earshot of Patton. Which was true. Out of all the light Sides, Patton was the one who judged the dark Sides based on what they were the most. 

“That’s nice. It was nice meeting all of you, Y/N has mentioned all of you once or twice,” Mare said. 

“You did?!” Patton said happily. 

You nodded. “Yeah. Also, Patton, do you know where Virgil is?” You asked. You hadn’t seen the emo nightmare yet, which was odd. Usually he was one of the first to come talk to you when you came over. 

“Yes, where is that raccoon? He disappeared right when you showed up,” Janus said. 

“He’s downstairs,” Patton replied, “Probably on the couch, poor kiddo. I wonder what’s up with him today..” 

It might be the fact a new person is here. Virgil didn’t like new people, he never has. It took him a while to trust you, and even more time for him to open up to you. 

“Thank you! We’ll go check on him,” You said, walking down the stairs with Mare.

“So.. if the Sides represent things about Thomas, then what is Virgil?” Mare asked you. 

“Virgil is Thomas’s Anxiety,” you answered his question. “He’s not really a people person,” 

“I’ll keep that in mind,” Mare said. You two reached the bottom, and entered into a second living area. 

You looked around for your best friend, and then saw him on the couch, like Patton said he might be.

He was on his phone, probably scrolling on Tumblr, with his hood up and his headphones in. The music was loud, so loud that you could hear it. It was “I’m Not Okay (I Promise)” by My Chemical Romance, which was Virgil’s self proclaimed “theme song” and one you two often listened to together. 

Well, if listening is counted as screaming the lyrics to it at 3am, then yes, you listened to it together. 

You went up to him and tapped his shoulder a few times. “Virgil??”

He paused his music and looked up, not taking off his hood. “What?” He said with an annoyed tone. You were stunned for a moment. He hadn’t been this blatantly annoyed with you since before you were best friends.

“Who?” That was all he said. “Don’t tell me they’re like Roman… or worse, Remus,” 

“Oh, no, he’s not like them at all. This is Natemare, my boyfriend,” You said. Virgil moved to look at Mare, looking him up and down. 

“He’s your boyfriend? Huh. Wait, first of all, WHEN did you get a boyfriend? You’ve never mention this to me before,” he said, his annoyance slightly going away. 

“We’ve been dating for six months,” Mare answered for you. 

“Six months??? Y/N, you’ve been over here  eight times in that time and you’ve NEVER mentioned this??? I would’ve thought that you would tell me whenever you got a partner, since you’re, you know, my best friend!” Now the annoyance was back. Virgil did seem mad, as he raised his voice slightly.

“Hi.. I don’t want us to bother you, we can leave if you want,” Mare said. “Also.. were you listening to MCR? They’re one of my favorite bands, and I’m Not Okay is a good song.” 

Virgil was silent for a few moments, and then spoke. “No, you guys can… stay if you want. I want Y/N here at least,” He said.

“Alright,” You said. “Can I sit next to you?” You asked. Virgil simply nodded, and moved so you could sit next to him.

You sat down, and Mare sat down too. You moved closer to him, and Virgil sort of.. glared?? Does he think that just because you have a boyfriend, you’re going to abandon him or something?

“Virgil.. I’m not going to leave you, and I’m not going to stop being friends with you just because I have a boyfriend,” You said, trying to reassure him due to his unspoken feelings. 

“Who said I thought that? I wasn’t saying that,” He said. Mare laughed.

“Don’t worry, I’m not gonna steal your best friend from you or something,” 

Virgil… actually laughed at that. That was a good sign. 

That was probably the quickest time he laughed at something someone he just met said, even when you had first met him.

You could tell they’d get along great. Eventually.

White space=cyan cite

The cyan Cite is basically still white space, except it cyan. Headspace Patton (morality) looks the same except he’s white and cyan lol. He has a laptop, a cyan tarp, a cyan light bulb and a blue rugby ball!

He also has a bald cat called “Angel” that stays around in The cyan cite.

Morality (Pattons alter ego) unlike omori is very talkative. He is always smiling and is cheerful. Everyone in headspace is very dependent on Morality and love his company, to make Patton feel he was more needed and to act as the “parent” of the group.

The others are morally the same as they were in real life, everyone has bright colours and purple hair (to represent Virgil) except for Remus who has light teal hair and white patch (the grey).

Janus is normal except for his colour being light grey instead of black and dark grey. Remus has a light purple (lavender if you will) duke outfit with light teal. He also has a cyan and pink flower crown to represent Thomas and Patton.

Virgil is the same, but he is more “perfect”. He quiet, gentle and nice. He is an actual angel in headspace (not joking that’s his design lol 💀) he has a crown that changes color with whoever he talks to. He is still dark though but is different.

Btw headspace is very ANXCEIT coded soooo.

The first instance of Remus “revealing the truth” in headspace was when they went to Remus and Roman’s castle in which they’d shared. They went to the castle to hang out and “look at the portraits”. Then Remus finds a portrait, as small one, on the floor and picks it up. He then does the whole red eyes things and is like “ITS VIRGIL HE-“

Then bing bang boom Omori time.

White space=the yellow confutation

In Janus’s denial he also had a headspace and accepted it as the reality. (Patton knows his headspace isn’t real he just loves staying there).

Janus alter ego= Deciet

The yellow confutation is like “lost library” except yellow and brighter. His weapon is his snake cane. He has a pet snake that’s yellow.

Deciet looks the same as he does irl except he has yellow hair.

He also isn’t silent just like morality isn’t.

In headspace Virgil wears his s1 clothes, he has black hair and is attached to every one of the darks sides. He doesn’t come on adventures due to “not liking to leave the dark sides”. (It’s Janus’s way to “putting Virgil in his place”)

Remus is the same but is green and instead of being the insensitive weirdo he’s the “bubbly rascal”. Orange would be here but he’s not confirmed yet soooo.

hey, gang!! i'm annie, you might know me from my main blog (@prodigal-explorer). this is my side blog, and it's a place for all things sanders sides whump! whump isn't a very big thing in this fandom, but i really love it and i think this fandom has so much whump potential.

to clear things up for anyone confused, whump is basically a genre of fanfic/headcanons/content where characters (they are called whumpees) are being hurt either by other characters (they are called whumpers) or by natural elements such as sickness and weather. sometimes, there are characters who help whumpees feel better, or protect them from whumpers (they are called caretakers). whump is sort of like hurt/comfort, but there's not always the guarantee of comfort. whether or not there's comfort is up to personal preference! when it comes to whump, pretty much any kind of pain/injury/hurt is on the table, so when engaging with it, it's important to read tags carefully, just for your own safety!

with this blog, the characters from sanders sides will be playing whumpees, whumpers, and caretakers in an assortment of ways! characters will not always be named. sometimes it will just be (side a) or (side b), or it will just be labeled as "whumper" or "whumpee" if i don't really have a sanders sides character in mind for the scenario.

i don't hc like normal people. i do not choose something & then keep it 4ever, i jump around A Lot. so i don't have like "this side is into X always!" hcs, i focus more on dynamics. instead of "this side always does this", its "how would this side/these sides react in this situation".

so short answer: they are into everything depending on the scenario or situation or au.

long answer: thats not ENTIRELY true always. for example, my headcanon for logan's role in a d/s relationship is always submissive. i literally cannot imagine him as anything else BUT that's bcuz it's based off of his character & actual arc in the story. dom logan squicks me out & i like Genuinely hate it so much (not judging any1 who likes dom logan ofc, its just not my cup of tea). same w/ always hcing roy///ality as not having a d/s relationship.

PLUS i do have kinks & fetishes that i tend to correlate with the sides. so i will do that instead & also i will only be referring 2 roy///ality & ana///lo///ceit bcuz thats all i talk about ever.

Patton sat across Janus, his hands laying in his lap, the dirt and grime from living on the streets for years having been scrubbed from his skin, washed from his hair. The servants had to change the water out many times, and it had taken hours to get him to Janus' standards. He was then dressed in commoners clothes, with a necklace with his sigil dangling from the chain. It's the nicest thing Pattons ever been allowed to wear.

"My lord?" Patton murmurs as he eyes Janus' hands, the way he smoothly swiped the feather against his letter. Janus didn't bother to spare him a glance, he merely continued flicking his wrist, writing in beautiful calligraphy.

"Yes fawn?"

Patton hesitated for a moment. "Are the tales of you true?"

Janus pauses finally and sets the feather in the bottle of ink before turning in his chair.

"Yes and no." Janus stands from his seat and moves to grab a chess set. "Humans have twist the tales of my deals to fit their claims. Humans come to me, pleading, just as you had done. Whether it be for wealth or to help a love one. They expect everything but want to give nothing."

Patton frowns.

"I don't understand."

Janus chuckles lowly. "Allow me to tell you a tale then dear fawn."

Janus adjusted a book on the shelf, wiping off a stray piece of dust beginning to collect. "There once was a man, his name was Charles Hickorison. Charles desired a cure for a sickness killing his daughter, Anne. He begged and pleaded at my feet, hands curled just as yours was. I gave him a choice, no fae deal if left without payment after all, and a life to save is a large debt to pay you see. To save his daughter, he must give a life to save a life," Janus muses, grinning at the way Patton gasped. "Who's life it is, well, that was up to him. He chose an elder of the town, and was then hanged for his crime."

Patton swallows hard. "Did...did Anne survive?"

Janus chuckles lowly. "I cured her of her disease, the poor girl was ravaged by wolves a week later."

💛: This one has me stumped! I’ve been close to romantically shipping certain sides but I don’t actually ship any of them (side x side being most popular and majority of ships here). Remrom is the only one I can’t get behind at all since they’re brothers but that’s also not a popular ship anyways so…idk. Idm and could get behind any ship really, besides that one.

🤍: Patton. Does he have issues with how he processes situations as Morality? Yes absolutely. He can also be mean, intentional or not. But I still see some people call him evil for his actions which I think it’s a bit much. He’s trying to help Thomas the best he can in the ways he knows how- all the sides are.

Thomas himself is a mortal in this, but the gods have chosen someone to speak through every lifetime, and they chose Thomas. He's honestly pretty much the same as he is in the videos, though.

Ships include: Logicality (kinda going to be the focus), probably prinxiety and dukeceit, but there might be a bit of princeit. Logan acts as the "main character" seeing as he'll be around the longest, but all of them will be a focus.
