Child Problem Solution By Vedic Astrology
In the family, the child is the greatest source of getting pleasure. Every married couple wants a child to complete their life or they crave for the beautiful kids. Unfortunately, some couples do not accomplish the wish of getting their kids. At that moment, they have only one option to adopt a child. Some couples are ready to adopt a child that is quite good, but the Guardians are not ready…

i don’t think we talk enough about how sophie copied her life philosophy from a kenny rogers song lmao. how many times do the leverage team pick her up on trying to pass off song lyrics as advice? or plots of films and books as Definitely Real Anecdotes. like they’re all at the bar telling some scary stories that happened to them and suddenly someone interrupts her like "ohhh fuck you that’s The Cask of Amontillado" and everyone groans. hardison sees parker’s notes from being mentored by sophie and about half of it is (admittedly applicable) paraphrased song lyrics.

Love how in Sweeny Todd Mrs. Lovett and Sweeny Todd are both freaks but they're freaks on completely different wavelengths.
The only reason Todd is bothering to continue breathing is for revenge. The only interest he has in anything or anyone around him is how they might help or hinder his cause. The only relationship he's legitimately emotionally invested in is with his straight razor.
Meanwhile Mrs. Lovett thinks she's in a rom-com where her old crush has come back to help her get her struggling restaurant on its feet, but her crush's ex keeps coming around trying to ruin everything.
Both of them go the whole musical without fully realizing that their brainworms are mutually unintelligible.
Antony is there in the background oblivious to this entire dynamic because he's too caught up in his own gothic romance plot to notice that the castaway he rescued is murdering people.

if we should protect children because they are vunerable, this means you would protect cruel children who bullies people who different than them then. the children who responsible to trauma for someone else's entire years
You're assuming that "protecting" children is the same as absolving them of responsibility and that's not what I said. All children are vulnerable, because all children are children; they don't come out of the womb with a perfectly working moral compass anymore than they come out of it waiting to hurt people--they're vulnerable because their understanding of the world is entirely at the mercy of what we, as adults, consistently tell them and show them. Children behaving cruelly aren't exempt from that--they learn that cruelty from somewhere, or someone. Your job, as the adult, is to make sure they understand that it's unacceptable so it will not happen again--but your job is also to ask why someone that young is behaving this way to begin with, so you can ensure they become better.
"Protecting" kids is not ignoring when they hurt or torment others, it's not refusing to teach them consequences or right from wrong, it's not "zero tolerance" policies in schools that treat a child being bullied and the child bullying them as equal instigators, and it's certainly not protecting them from recognizing, and atoning for, the pain they have caused someone else. You don't have to make peace with the now-adults who hurt you when you both were kids, but you cannot let the horrors of your own childhood impact how you treat or respond to the children living theirs around you right now, either.
You don't protect kids so they can get a free pass for bullying or tormenting another child. You protect them because kids are impulsive, emotionally reactive, and profoundly social (which means deeply impressionable) human beings who are still learning & processing insane amounts of information every day about what it means to be alive, to be alive as yourself, to be alive as yourself with other people. Protecting them is realising that you can't isolate the responsibility of a 10 year old from the bigger responsibility of the literal grown adults around them, adults who are in charge of teaching them about the world and how to behave in it. Whether you have children of your own in the future or not is completely irrelevant to this; we all become those adults eventually--no matter what happened to us as kids.

OK OK OK
I was watching rob!!!!!
Gem of a different kind to be exact!!
And there's this bit in the final sequence where Fishlegs goes to get the egg from Mrs Larson
And she's says something about Gustav to Fishlegs (can't remember im so stupid)
But she has a cart with the egg in it and in the cart is a baby and when the cart goes down the great halls stairs she says "My baby!"
Gustav younger sibling!?!?!?!?!?! Od you have anything on this, cause I don't!!
I just figured I'd send this im rolling about this
OH YES OKAY SO!!! I have some thoughts on this topic.
So this baby appears twice this episode, once in the beginning when the Berkians are clammoring for the stone of good fortune. Her mother says smt along the lines of "help my baby, she needs good fortune!" and Tuffnut comments that the baby is really, really effing ugly. Moments later, Gustav's mom offers up her first born (Gustav) in exchange for the stone of good fortune (bit messed up but it's the funniest bit of lore. Just imagine having to tell someone "yeah so my mom sold me for a shiny rock :D". What a party trick)
So the thing is, the baby and Gustav are shown to have different mothers. Then, at the end of the episode, the baby appears again like you described, but this time, with Gustav's mom as her parent. The only reason we know the baby was the same baby, is because Fishlegs comments "tuffnut was right, ugly baby" after saving the baby.
This was a bit of an animation error I think is really funny. The only two explanations for it could be that there just happened to be two ugly babies in town (maybe theyre cousins?), one belonging to the Larsons and one to the other family, or maybe they're just lesbian moms who tried to sell their son to help their daughter. Who knows lmao
In any way, ugly baby appears once more!! In Viking for Hire Gobber names a baby Magnus even tho it's a girl (bc the baby is ugly, is implied) while her parents wanted to name her Hildegard.
Personally I kinda just squash Hildegard and Mrs. Larson's ugly baby together and make her Gustav's little sister. In the au, he's the oldest among four siblings, actually, with Hildegard being the youngest!! There's two other brothers between them, Hallvor and Brynjar. In rob/dob the age difference between the siblings would be 11-12 (Gustav), 9 (Hallvor), 5 (Brynjar), and 0 (Hildegard).
Also I had to check the wiki for this lmao. I knew there was something up with the ugly baby's parentage (cuz i had read it some years ago somewhere lmao) but wasnt sure exactly what it was. In any way, this is all the info i got on that. I literally went :0 when I found out abt the animation error lmao but there's nothing a little headcanons can't fix
I also had to rewatch parts of the episode bc I couldn't remember what exactly happened LMAO
TY SM FOR REMINDING ME OF THIS TOPIC!!!! I love the idea of the Larson family having more than 1 kid, it just really fits them. Would love to know your stance on it!!!!

do u have any navi thoughts from your oot replay
i've been waiting to answer this until I actually beat the game in my current playthrough because navi is another one of those characters that i think of in like a "set" with several other characters who serve relatively the same thematic purpose; in this case that purpose being the "mother" character, and i wanted to have all the characters in that set fresh in my mind. it's notable that while oot shows us very clear and consistent instances of the ways in which the adults of hyrule fail to protect their children, there ARE several adults who DO go out of their way to both oppose ganondorf and protect and nurture the children under their care. All of these characters are adult women, and all of them explicitly help the children out of some sort of parental responsibility or sense of duty towards them. in this group I include link's late mother, impa, nabooru, and navi.
all 4 mother characters, despite being adults or adult-coded, reject the inaction mentality which characterizes other adults in the game. they become either direct supports or shields to their children from the conflict the world has to offer them, and they are always explicitly punished for their interference--link's mother is killed trying to protect her son, impa's village is burned, nabooru is brainwashed. The mother's fatal flaw is that she will protect her child above all else, even in a world in which children cannot truly be protected. however, with the exception of link's mother, these characters manage to persist even in the face of her punishment, and this is where I think navi becomes the exemplary character.
Navi, after a lifetime of being link's only support system, the only adult in his life he could truly, consistently count on, receives her punishment at the hands of ganondorf--in the final battle, she is pushed out. she is unable to reach her child. she cannot protect him. However, BECAUSE link has grown up with her at his side, he is strong enough to take ganondorf down. and when ganon rises again, navi is there to support link, promising not to leave his side, and the intuitive targeting of that battle (a mechanic which navi is inherently tied to!!) makes it a cinch to win. Navi, and the other mothers we meet, are a reminder to the player that the world doesn't HAVE to be the way it is. Their persistence when punished, their insistence that their children ought to be protected, is a reminder that good adults do exist, and that good adults raise good children. link and zelda are able to win in spite of the adults who refused to help them, but also BECAUSE of the adults who DID. It's a reinforcement of the core theme of oot--that childlike idea that the world SHOULD be good and fair and if it isn't, it should be changed until it is. The mothers of oot are examples of what the world COULD be, reminders that it is possible to grow up without losing hope or growing bitter, and they are examples of the next step for the children they've raised to change the word--to continue fighting even in the face of punishment, to refuse inaction, and to foster that same hope and persistence in the generations to come.
#one thing i've really been noticing this time around is the specific way in which navi's targeting works#because even though other 3d games have that targeting mechanic navi's targeting is noticeably different#in two ways. the first being that she specifically targets weak spots in enemies almost as if she is pointing them out to link#and the second being that she is capable of targeting things link himself doesn't see#whether it be invisible enemies or triggers that are out of his reach or scarecrow points or whatever#it's really reminiscent to me of the way you teach problem solving skills to a kid. you see them struggling with something and beginning to#get frustrated and you say 'hey let's look around. do you see any solutions?' and if they can't see the solution themself you might point#and say 'hey what's that?' just to get their attention on it and help facilitate that train of thought for them#because like in most other games targeting is sort of assumed to be link's own intuition in battle#and therefore it will usually allow you to focus on one enemy within a swarm of them but it won't explicitly light up the weak spot for you#navi does that for link because she's essentially the mother teaching her kid how to problem-solve.#and when she's taken away in the final battle link is able to fight anyway BECAUSE she put so much time and effort into raising him#that he no longer needs her to facilitate that problem-solving process. he already knows how to beat ganondorf#because he's done it with her before. and that's exactly the mother's role in her child's life#protect him and raise him as best you can so that when you can no longer be by his side he isn't afraid.#foster that sense of justice and encourage him to keep fighting to change the world even when it seems unchangeable.#god. ocarina of fucking time#zelda analysis#asks

arrrharghhh i know grass is always greener on the other side and other people don't in fact have it easier than me, but i fucking wish i had the "go out and do dumb things" kind of avoidant mental health issues, instead of the "stay in your room and play grey rock" kind of avoidant mental health issues. i have friends with like, stick n poke tats, and pierced ears, and six new dates a month, and im here trying to convince myself to move away from my computer.

I went haha if paeden was in season 2 things would have gone sooo different and my brain replied how different and now I’m making a Paeden’s homonculus body is allowed to grow up and he joins DADDIES au.
#dungeons and daddies#dndads#dndads season 2#dndads spoilers#I want him to have aged with the dads because the concept of a forever child is too depressing and the kiddads need more friends#so far the hardest part is how to keep the Willy stuff on track#because Paeden is going to lose his SHIT if he’s at all aware what’s on the other side of the door#so far the thought process goes that DADDIES needed someone to help them make and understand certain artifacts#and Lark specifically jumped at the chance to bring Walter to Earth (pre code purple)#and either Walter only agreed to come if Lark could get a deal with Barry and Autumn to bring paeden back as he was#or Walter had another off screen adventure and already had paeden with him— this time one who can actually age and has the chance to grow up#so Paeden and Walter are in the area for code purple and are switched over with everyone else—#I think Walter would have been more understanding of the trolley problem sparrow was dropped into#but would only agree to keep working for daddies if he was allowed to continue to research for an alternate solution to CP#so Paeden stuck with daddies too— he’s either an artificer or a monk— and he explains his relation as being Grant’s cousin#Walter also probably has a human homonculus body to let him wander and interact with humans#with his frog body resting either somewhere in the DADDIES base or back in his home#Paeden is not allowed to interact with Doodler stuff because his exposed soul; one-track mind; and obsession for fighting makes him vulnerab#I specifically have a thought of Paeden and the twins pairing up together on Old Earth and being So Annoying for the other three to wrangle#I think he’d tell a lot of stories about the dad’s experiences between one and two#little stories that don’t always have to mean something but tells the kids more about who their fathers are#I am especially thinking about Taylor being like I met my father; Nicholas Freeman and Paeden yelling OH YOU MET KING NARC???#and then telling them about how Taylor’s dad used to be the WORST like a complete egghead and now if they ever wanted to annoy him#all they had to do was call him Narcolas#also Paeden 100% would make all of them different weapons and tools and he’d especially have a soft spot for Taylor and his ranger junk#Paeden also probably kept an eye on Marco when Linc let slip that the FBI threatened to kidnap him#Walter is off doing some important research to try to prevent code purple 2 hell edition and shows up mid season very confused#paeden still has Darryl’s dad’s memories— most of them are suppressed and the rest are in an in case of emergency memory syringe#by suppressed I mean like in the way it was in the podcast with an anchor for the record#Paedaddies AU

Things people did before chat:
Got someone else to do it
Wrote 600 words that didn't say anyhting
Asked the fried group (a proto-chat, if you will)
Had tutors help them
Didn't do the essay (this is what I usually did rip)
Typed instead of handwrite and fiddle with the formatting to half a page into a whole page
Wrote whatever they could in the period before the class
Plagiarism
There was also, like, a lot less homework 20 years ago, y'all. Anyways, add some of the bullshit you did to try to get a grade when you struggled with homework.
