I've been thinking about watching TFP connected shows on and off.. maybe I'll give them a go after I finish Prime..? But aaaa idk.. not having Bulk, Miko and Ratchet around would be such a bummer 😭💔💔

Honestly a paid requests thing sounds great. I've had many times where I've dealt with artblock and turned to peoples suggestions for help. If I could work out a system for that.. I think I'd be much more comfortable giving commissions a go. <:)

Also thank you! :DD I'm so glad you like my OCs! :))) So far what I had in mind for those two was.. well, you might need some context first actually-

The general idea for that webcomic was that it all takes place inside the broken mind of a comatose girl. (This cliché plot is what made me drop it rather quick) But anyways- so all the characters in this world are based on things in her real life.

The clown character is meant to be apart of a species of clowns. They're shapeshifters of sorts. And the shadowy figure is his true form/a beast that he can transform into if needed. This clown character is supposed to be her minds version of her dad. Someone one who always made her laugh and was very friendly. But was also very capable of protecting her.

Now the owl... I was thinking that one night before she fell into her coma.. she saw a barn owl outside her bedroom window. But due to the surrounding darkness, she could only see its head. She ended up feeling like/imagining that all the darkness out there around it was its body.

So now in her dream scape, this black shapeshifting beast stalks the group from afar. Contorting its body into various shadowy bugs and furry creatures. But always keeping its owl face...

He only knows as much as I do, So unfortunately I'd say no 😅 I'm unfamiliar with Skeletor. But Papyrus on the other hand...👀

Some characters will stay evil and will have no redemption. For example Silas, Airachnid and Megatron will see no redemption. And I cant see any world where TFP Soundwave would work with the Autobots.. same thing with Starscream and his brothers.

As for most of those dramatic battles and moments, most of it will be remedied by "they actually survived the fight and got a second chance."😅

My favorite bot character is Ratchet :)) but Bulkhead is a very close second. I just cant help but love the grumpy old bot. He pretends to not like the kids and be annoyed by the others antics. But the truth is his spark is full of nothing but love and dedication to his team. And he would give up everything he is/has to protect any of them. 🧡

My favorite human characterrr..... well, usually its Miko, but only when she's being really sweet/cute with Bulkhead. "I'll never forget you.." "I wanna be just like you Bulk!" "I cant Bulk, I gotta get you outa here!" "We cant leave Bulkhead! "(Run Miko!) Miko's brow frows and she tears up"

But aside from those moments she can get on my nerves sometimes <XD So for that reason I think Jack is my favorite human character. He never gets on my nerves and I like how much he's matured over the series.

Now favorite duo... ooo that's a good question. It'll have to beeee... uhhh.. man. Its a tough pick. I like Ratchet and Optimus, Bulkhead and Wheeljack are always fun.. but man, Bulkhead and Miko just hits different.

Arcee: "A scout must be silent but deadly" (Miko and Bulk both snicker and laugh). "That's my girl!" "I'm never leaving your side again.." The two of them together just makes my heart swell 😭💞💞

Yeah I was surprised that "Orion" wasn't more shocked and devastated at being told that his dear friend Ratchet and him were at war. And for this long..

I wish we had a moment where Ratchet got to explain everything to him. Or better yet- can you imagine if Orion was told all this horrible stuff about Ratchet, and then somehow he has a brief encounter with Ratchet? Maybe he was on the battle field and saw Ratchet in the distance, gingerly helping Bee to his feet.

Then they lock optics, and Ratchet looks devastated. His optics are full of worry and sorrow. The way he protectively shields Bee from gunfire.. he just cant see the blood thirst war criminal that Megatron described.

Maybe after that he would start to really become suspicious of Megatron and start to figure things out..

Who are your favorite ln characters

Yesss, thank you for asking, the vampire in me is so excited (I can't divulge into things I'm utterly mad about without prior invitation).

So here they are (in no particular order): Six Mono Thin man The lady Cici? The twin chefs The hanging man Otto Noone Raincoat girl The pretender The supervisor

Six is, and likely will always be, my all-time favourite character because of the atmosphere inherent in her. (So, for the vibes, essentially.) She's the only one I can properly rank in that she takes first place for me - the others aren't really arrangable.

Otto is my 'current favourite' if that makes sense; the one who's giving my brain worms at this very moment. Unsure I am though, as to where I'd place him long-term after the waves in my mind have settled. And him because I cannot help but fall attached to the 'morally dubious younger sibling who grows insane after being 'abandoned' by the eldest (and suffers from some sort of childhood trauma in general).' They also usually happen to be inventor-esque in nature too, which is a weird commonality. I swear I've seen this archetype at least 3 other times before, now and I haven't gotten bored of it. (That doesn't say anything about me - shut up.)

I'm not going to explain the common/more understandable ones because, well, they don't need it.

The twin chefs I love because they were the first thing I ever saw relating to the games at all. It was one of their twisted faces that made me click on that demo playthrough some 8 years ago, now. And the kitchen area remains my favourite of the first game. (Oh and if I were to rank the games off on personal taste it's LN, VLN, LN2 and then the DLC.)

The supervisor has multiple arms and I think that's cool. :] (I love creature designs with a greater-than-average number of limbs.)

Cici. We know next to nothing about her but as I've mentioned before the doomed sibling pair is a character dynamic held dear - and it takes two to make it work. For Cici, as well, I put the question mark as I've grown fond of this one theory in regards to her but due to its nature as 'a theory', I can't in good conscience believe it fully or treat it as if legitimate.

The hanging man... this guy. This fucking guy. I think I'm probably the biggest hanging man fan out there (the only one too, by the looks of it) if there are none then I am dead. Despite him having barely any physical presence, he's practically just a prop - set dressing, really, I could write pages and pages of thoughts and speculation surrounding him. And maybe it'd be better to just let it go: some things are better off left unexplained, kept vague etcetera, etcetera... If it weren't for that portrait in the nest. They planted it there for a reason, okay? They didn't have to do that but they did, there's more to this man and I need to know. (Dying.) What pains me more is the fact that literally no one else even gives a shit about him. I am desolate in my insanity, here.

Uhh, anyway, if anyone wants to hear me ramble about characters whose stories are hinted at for like 2 seconds (Cici, hanging man), let me know.

Audiodrama Sunday 7/7/24

Most of what I did this week was listen to Courier's Call. Next week I'll be up to date, then it's time for InCo.

I'm almost caught up with Skyjacks: Courier's Call. I don't want it to be over! It looks like the next season is coming soon though. Sleazus and Sleazy’s had me rolling. There was so much intrigue at the all Audron dinner, I was loving all the politics. Cici asking June and Kieran to prom was so cute! I loved all the very gnc prom outfits, Bobby Gene in the giant chickenbone dress is a wonderful image. Finally the snowball fight was incredible, I love that the cast mentioned Craig of the Creek, that show fits the vibes of Courier's Call so well.

@wanderersjournalpod I had 2 episodes to listen to. With all the Pluto drama with the creature, Marigold really buried the lead. She’s from really deep in her forest wow.

Dear Liisphyra this week was a fun mystery. I loved the musical accompaniment, and the "red heron" joke was great.

In the new Lost Terminal I had forgotten about Cassie, it’s nice to hear more from her. The ending was brutal though, it reminds me of AI chains from the book Kitty Cat Kill Sat. There are so many AIs in the show now, I love that this season only has AI characters in it.

@midnightburgr had a new Welcome to the Horizon! Wait until Frank and June hear about the Teds and earth tv, they're going to totally lose it. The comet is totally going to tie into the main show later in the season.

This episode of @worldgonewrongpod was too real. I absolutely adored the premise of this episode, it feels like the core of what this show is, real problems in a supernatural world. This was one of the funniest episodes yet, because of how realistic it was.

@worldsbeyondpod really was a completely different tone for every PC. Ursulon’s scenes were horrifying, Ame's were cute, and Suvi's was amazing! Vandal was wonderful, and Aabria’s dice curse is broken! Suvi essentially pratfalling against an incredibly dangerous witch and it working perfectly was incredible. I'm loving the way the wizards are treated in this story arc.

Spout lore couldn't have been more different from Worlds Beyond Number. I love both these show, for very different reasons. The "coming up with seven plans while walking to their objective then following none of them" was so real, every TTRPG group I've ever been in has done this at one point.

OK SO FUNNY THING ABOUT REPRODUCTION IN MY WORLD. there doesnt actually need to be Two parents to Make A Child Exist. there can be one. three. twelve. billions. doesnt matter. because the source of life in this world are called lovebugs that essentially incubate souls that are ready to be recycled... the only motive they need to initiate the incubation process is some form of desire from an outside source to have that thing Exist, and boom, it will.

so basically, she doesn't have any "biological" family. lovebugs didn't incubate her soul because anyone wanted them to, it was basically like. okay. you know jesus? from the bible? yeah. that's basically what happened to trout. except whats different about her is that she was born from... like... the will of the god of the universe herself (cadie, cici. yeah the god of my universe is my cat) and somewhat from the people of that world at the time.

basically the desire of the masses to have the return of magic culminated so much hope and "desire" into existence that trout just... boom. became real.

to ACTUALLY answer your question though, trout doesn't actually have parents. she hopped across orphanages and foster homes until she was able to bind her soul to an object (long story) and then, seeing her power, the higher status seaskimrs kind of adopted her like "hey she would make a great personal guard to the royal family"

the closest thing to family though? oryx. he's her anxious deranged ghost uncle who projects his existence onto her through time bullshit soul magic.

ive seen the dragonss big dragon world where does she fit in there. like what is she. what is their society like if they have one. would she interact with other animals or would her society be kept to others like her?

OMG OK WAIT SO . FUNNU THING ABOUT THIS. TROUT'S ERA HAPPENS AT THE V E R Y END OF MEL'S SOUL THREAD... MEANING MOST OF THE DRAGONS ARE GONE BY THIS POINT. but AHAAAAAA WAIT !!!! since the world exploded, set on fire, exploded again, and then Flooded (thats why seaskimrs, creatures like trout, are the most populous intelligent species on the planet) tasreradian society managed to sustain some of their society, but alot of it was still lost (the current tasrerads don't even know that the shore dwelling tasrerads existed)

to the seaskimr society, tasrerads are something of lorekeepers. now having to go deeper into the ocean, they've become long-living megafauna. not a SINGLE tasrerad is left from mel's time, but a good ass portion of their history is written in ye olde dragon runes. seaskimrs don't interact a whole lot since tasrerads dwell very very deep in the ocean and rarely come up... but they're chill when they do! trout was born during the period of time where tasrerads come up for their routine (every decade? not sure!) transaction of knowledge. the tasreradian elder take great interest in telling stories to seaskimr younglings, and trout never forgot a single tale.

i sawww something mentioned about her being a past life to. uh. i forgot their names i know mel is there but how did she die if she does and also if its not the same where did she get the scar?

AS FOR HER SCAR..... equally a little vague. in her old story, she got mauled by. this sounds insane but also all of the aquatic creatures from the past eras got like dangerously bigger. she got mauled by a HUGE FUCKING TROUT which earned trout her name!!! (yeah i think in her old lore getting mauled made her transition . ? help)

in her new lore tho. i think it would make the most sense for malibu to be the one to dismember & scar her? or maybe mel. tho i think malibu makes more sense. malibu being burned on accident and being like I NEED TO GET BACK AT THIS BITCH. because to trout, malibu is a reminder of her terrible curse & to malibu, trout is a reminder of a terrible experience that basically lead to the death of her grandmother (a whole other story so i'll just leave it at that)

regardless. unlike mel, she never gets a prosthetic :)

IM GONNA BE HONEST I HAVENT TOTALLY WORKED THIS OUT YET !!!

it acts as something of a... puppet. an entity that can pass through time to act as a gateway, HER gateway, to the past. which is where she meets oryx! the soulless remnants act as entities outside of time, so when she befriends one (this funny little fish who i dont have a name for yet LOL) she's able to puppeteer it's body and project herself and some of the world around it (including her voice!) into the past. which is how she's able to hear, see, and communicate with oryx. does that make sense? LOL

BUT TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION. it's both :) trout is a "roll with the punches" kinda gal so she didn't really question the presence of half-existing entities that only she could see and just interacted with them as she would with a normal not dead person.

mel - she feels pity for him at first. imagine existing for that long, literal eons stewing in your hate, refusing to let go of a grudge for people that have long forgotten about you? she essentially manages to talk him down from the ledge, something mira failed to do all those eras ago.

the reason trout came in the very last thread of mel's soul is because of how similar the two are. mel surpressed the "trout" part of himself so ferociously that she literally could not exist until oryx BLOCKED HIM from influencing her time in any way shape or form. mel hated, HATED, HATED trout, more than he hated his mom, those who looked down on him, the world, more than he hated himself. which is why his reconciliation with her is such a crucial part of both their character arcs, because truly trout is just mel in a less gristly, bloody font. he's like her deranged grandpa in some way.

when she resets the timeline he's glad to be the only one to remember her.

whats her favorite food? color? animal? what is she interested in? what are her hobbies? yknow the basics

food? she really likes spicy stuff. is eating tilapia cannibalism? maybe, but she doesn't really have a reason to care, all of her past lives were cannibals.

she REALLY likes green. like a soft, gentle sage. salmon pink is a close second.

she likes pufferfish and hammerhead sharks... she thinks theyre funny :)

BIG FAN OF MECHANICS AND BOMBS. bombs especially. it sometimes concerns her peers how excited she gets about stuff like the discovery of remains from those nuclear explosions several eons ago. she loooves pulling things apart and seeing what new stuff she can make with them. guns are a big second fave too! thats why her soulbound object (which can shapeshift. yeah she's a special one) is usually some kind of big impossible gun. she likes to try and dissect it and see how much of it is magic and how much of it is mechanics.

i know shes. trout. and those are freshwater. but does she like whales? like whale whales. im just curious. actually how does she feel about whales, sharks, even orcas. stuff like that.

SHE LOVES WILDLIFE. she's not like, crazy obsessed with animals but if you asked her if she wanted to go to the aquarium she would never say no. she likes predatory animals the most, i don't know if she would have ever seen an orca before but whales are a tasreradian delicacy so she's definitely eaten whales before, and likes to watch sharks sometimes.

Asa's little bug: Making new friends.

I realized I've been neglecting Asa and Cicada, that's gotta change!

His larva was growing, maturing, her metamorphosis into an adult brought both pride and fear into Asa. Of course, she was only twelve- caught within the cusp of being a young adult. Perhaps that’s why Asa finally relented into letting her leave the hotel for just one hour. An hour all to herself, without Asa’s watchful eyes over her. The trackers in her phone and on herself did help put his mind at ease. 

“I’ll be at the other end of the mall where I usually get our supplies, you’re allowed to explore on your own but remember our rules, Cicada.” He paused for a moment, squeezing her shoulders tightly suddenly; “And what are those rules?” 

Cici sighed; “Don’t talk to strangers, don’t make any friends, and text you back right away with a confirmation that I’m fine.”

Asa’s brows furrowed; “Do not interact with anyone unless completely necessary, call me every ten minutes so I know you’re alright, meet me back right here in exactly an hour and  do not leave the building.” 

His voice was firm, but yet he was softly smiling. Asa moved closer to place a kiss on her head, before they parted ways in the mall lobby. Cicada made a beeline for the pet store a few feet away, one of her favorite places to be with the money her father gave her tucked away in her pocket. Meanwhile, Asa rounded a corner out of sight, waited a few minutes, and rounded right back to the direction he had just come from. Did Cicada truly believe that her father would ever allow her on her own? He adjusted his glasses, before silently following Cicada behind into the small pet shop that rented out space between two other clothing shops. Of course his larvae would be drawn to other living things, it made him smirk. 

He watched her look over the tanks, carefully looking as she kept her hands off the glass- a lesson that stuck with her since she was toddler. Her dark eyes gazed across the critters contained, each one peaking her interest. Cici loved animals, but her favorite kind was just a few feet away- perched on a branch with its beady eyes glinting in the overhead light. Just like her father, Cicada thought- coming a bit closer to the large tarantula. The fuzzy arachnid moved one of its many legs to gently tap against the class as Cicada came near, as if saying hello to the child. She smiled back, whispering a hello. “Ah, you’re a girl- you’re a very pretty girl.” 

She mused, remaining kneeled with her new found friend inching closer against its enclosure. Asa watched from behind a shelf, his heart melting at the sight of his larva being so gentle, kind to a living thing that most disregarded as disgusting and horrific. No, not his Cicada. 

“Can I help you, kid?” A young woman walked up to her, staring down at the child as she suddenly stood up. Cicada silently shook her head, not uttering a single word she folded her hands together and walked away rather briskly, minding her father’s rules. Cicada deserved a treat, Asa decided. He walked up to the same worker, asking about one of their many creatures.

“Cicada, pass me my scalpel please.” Asa asked, his leather bound hand outstretched as his daughter compiled and passed him the sharp instrument. The blade cut into flesh, severing tendons as the victim twitched, unable to scream. A few feet away, at a different table, Cicada was spilling over school-work. She took a glance every few minutes at her father’s own work, finding it both fascinating and painful to watch. But by now, she had grown used to it. 

Asa looked over her shoulder, spotting the small doodles of a tarantula across the page. He couldn’t help but smile softly to himself. “Cicada, why don’t you take a break from your studies and go look through the clothing I got you, see what fits and what doesn’t.” 

He said, turning his back to her once more. Cicada gave a curt nod before leaving the room, silently. She went up the stairs to their private living quarters, finding a few bags on the floor as expected- but what stood out to them was a tank perched upon a desk within the room, and the tarantula from earlier that day tapping its tiny paws against the glass. Cicada gasped, walking towards the enclosure before their hands gingerly made their way to the lid. But suddenly a larger hand stopped them, Asa staring down with his glowing eyes. “Careful, larva. Your new friend is very delicate despite her size.” 

With careful movement, Asa reached in to gently cup the spider in his hands, before presenting it to his daughter. “Give me your hand, be very still.” 

Cicada did as she was told, her eyes glittering with wonder as the creature slowly made its way out of Asa’s hands, crawling up Cicada’s outstretched hand and resting on her shoulder as if it had always belonged there. 

“Her name is Charlotte.” 

Asa smirked, before gasping as he was pulled into a tight hug by his daughter.

It was in a time where magic was blooming in the air

In the magical woods that was next to the kingdom, was a cottage in the middle of the it. The one who took residence in this cottage was a lovely witch named Lia.

Not a good witch, but a not bad witch either, but a mad witch

Oh how Lia was a witch. She made potions, cursed the souls that dared to come across her, studied about herbology with help of her healer friend Cee, and exchanged spells with the queen’s dutchess Cici

The ones that accompanied her was her lovely cats, her garden that contained the souls and statues of the ones that dared to heckle her, and most importantly, her lovely faes.

Faeries that were bounded to her since the day she came across the hollow the little creatures took residence in, and was enticed by how they did their work.

Shortly after her discovery, a few unlucky faes met the fate of being trapped by the witch, and had to come to an agreement that they can live their lovely little lives, but in exchange to being her little servants

And so there were the faes. The faes who would help her out with her witch activities such as gathering ingredients, and as they grew a relationship with her, they shared their sweetest, loveliest, and darkest secrets with Lia

(which they don’t know was a very common ingredient in her potions~)
