I miss the Linda Danvers and Cir-El versions of Supergirl. Even though Cir-El eventually turned out to not be Superman's and Lois' daughter from the future, she was a fun character to have around. And there's always a chance a real Cir-El could be seen in the future (Clark and Lois had many servings of beef bourguinon after he returned from Warworld).

That said, I also miss Power Girl as she was depicted back then. Her personality now, as seen in One-Star Squadron and her current series, has made her into a whiney milquetoast, not the strong, confident woman she's been known as.

CIR-EL: this post by @/ lornahs contains all of Cir's comic appearances, which isn't a lot. Nevertheless, it remains to be a fun read with time-travel plots, as always, being a bit confusing. I love how Cir learns to be a hero however tragic it ends up being for her.

CHRISTOPHER KENT: this reading guide provided by The Unofficial Guide To The DC Universe is the one I see recommended the most for this character. I enjoy how it spotlights the remnants of Destroyed Krypton and how its culture continues to exist with the best it could offer and also its worst.

JON SAMUEL LANE-KENT: this post by @/ bobbinalong contains various comic issues and this other post has some of their personal favorite. They love this character a lot and open to any questions about Jon's character ^^

The writer of Superman (or any member of the Superfam) who brings back Linda Danvers, Chris Kent and Cir-EL is automatically going to become one of my top 5 favorite comic book writers.

I don't forgive DC for forgetting about these characters, even worse Linda's story didn't even have a conclusion, free my girl from hell.

-Mia "Cir-El" Cyril, a K-Type DNAngel built by the Time Trapper's Futuresmiths. Her K-Type is confirmed from Kal-El per the Time Trapper's express wishes, but her human components (of which there are at least two) are unclear. After almost being erased from the timestream in retribution for siding with Superman against the Futuresmiths, she navigated history freely, rebuilding portions of history damaged or erased by the Time Trapper.

-Zara Jor-El, Kal's sister via K-Codex Birth-Matrix stolen by Darkseid and raised by Granny as the first of the Super-Furies. Her scythe is a 4-D weapon simultaneously existing as K-Metal and Sunstone. It causes irreparable sol-cellular damage every time she wields it, forcing Zara to become ever more reliant on the fire-pits of Apokolips just to stay alive.
