More practicing comic style. I was initially just gonna do the inking stage but got carried away and ended up doing a City of Mist style poster for Hope, taking a pose from a drawing I did last year.

I’m a lot more happier with how this came out, I really like the contrast of the red and green light (even if the character no long has the pomegranate relic in game XD)

It is something to hear the pulsing, electric heartbeat of the city sing to you - and to hum along with its tune. We just started a new City of Mist campaign, in which Faye Cooper, my exhausted PhD student, has just discovered that the magic slowly infecting her body can make electricity arc like lightning around her. Which is all kind of taking a backseat to the fact that one of her neighbours was just murdered, and the guy upstairs knows how to fold and unfold a building like he's doing origami. Playing pretend with your friends is a lot of fun. 12/10, do recommend TTRPGs to anyone with the space to roll dice. also hi, I'm still kicking, it's just been a busy couple of months. I'm working on stuff, getting over a cold, preparing to get a new kitten, and figuring out what my next social media steps are now that Twitter is sinking a bit further into the swamp. I'm still there - and on Mastodon. And as of today, on Bluesky, if people do that.

“Ronan, please, you have to believe,” Hope pleads but she can tell as she looks at her friend’s face that he doesn’t.

And how could he? How could anyone believe that a world where legendary characters rode backseat, that things such as magic and ghosts could exist. She badely believed if herself when she first realised what she could do. How can she expect Ronan to believe it now with barely any proof but her word?

Yet she has to get him to believe her, he’s life depends on it and Hope cannot let him get hurt because of her mistakes.

Ah, one of my favourite platonic otps who very often rip my heart out. I miss there scenes together even if they can be hard to roleplay at times.

I’ve been in awe of the artwork for City of Mist since I started playing back in 2020, and since the drama of last weeks session resulted in me wanting to turn several scenes into comic, I wanted to see if I could emulate the style. Not sure I achieved the desired result but it was a fun exercise nonetheless.
