“Ronan, please, you have to believe,” Hope pleads but she can tell as she looks at her friend’s face that he doesn’t.
And how could he? How could anyone believe that a world where legendary characters rode backseat, that things such as magic and ghosts could exist. She badely believed if herself when she first realised what she could do. How can she expect Ronan to believe it now with barely any proof but her word?
Yet she has to get him to believe her, he’s life depends on it and Hope cannot let him get hurt because of her mistakes.

Ah, one of my favourite platonic otps who very often rip my heart out. I miss there scenes together even if they can be hard to roleplay at times.
I’ve been in awe of the artwork for City of Mist since I started playing back in 2020, and since the drama of last weeks session resulted in me wanting to turn several scenes into comic, I wanted to see if I could emulate the style. Not sure I achieved the desired result but it was a fun exercise nonetheless.

I find it a little bit funny when they have actors doing different accents. Especially when its multiple of them in the same show or movie.

Mary, Queen of Scots (2018)
Tumblr media
Yes, it’d be nice if Mary, Queen of Scots was a completely accurate portrayal of history but is that what audiences want? Personally, I'll take an entertaining movie over a faithful one any day. When we look at the film's performances and sumptuous costumes, when we consider the drama and the engaging story, this film is undeniably succesful.
In 1561, Mary Stuart (Saoirse Ronan), the Catholic Queen of Scotland, returns to her home country to claim her late husband's throne, currently held by her half-brother, the Earl of Moray (James McArdle). Her cousin, Elizabeth (Margot Robbie), is the Protestant Queen of England. This makes them - at least in the eyes of every man in their respective courts - enemies. As Elizabeth is unmarried and childless, Mary is the one who would replace her as Queen of England should she pass. This prompts conspirators on both sides to begin making their moves.
Something about these costume dramas makes for great villains. David Tennant plays John Knox, a Protestant cleric so fanatic about his hatred you can’t wait for him to get thrown in an oubliette or better yet, beheaded. But at least he’s got the courtesy of being openly hostile towards Mary. Nearly everyone surrounding the young queen is conspiring to raise an army against her, trying to weasel their way into marrying her to gain power, scheming up a way to knock down her allies to undermine her position or a greasy troll. You want Mary to find a way to navigate the complex maze of politics and egos set before her. In a time when women had no power or authority, she’s someone with a voice. The sooner she adapts to this nest of vipers, the better. Of course, once she begins getting her hands dirty, she's likely to get stuck in the mud, unable to escape...
There’s a unique sort of relationship between Mary and Elizabeth that develops. It’s one of the film’s most compelling elements. As women of authority, they have a lot in common but the circumstances of the time have forced them into antagonism. They have sympathy for each other but only to an extent. It’s an amusing fantasy. The real-life queens never saw each other this way. In fact, they never met face to face. The film finds a way to sort of but not really tiptoe around this fact. Historians will disagree but I say writer Beau Willimon made the right choice because it hightens the engaging story and drama. I have more mixed feelings about the casting of Adrian Lester as Lord Thomas Randolph and of Gemma Chan as Elizabeth Hardwick. They’re fine in their roles. Randolph is an amusing character with much to do but the two of them stand out like sore thumbs because… well… they were white in real life. I’m not a director. I don't know anything about making movies but since Josie Rourke told the world “I was really clear, I would not direct an all-white period drama” maybe she should’ve selected a different project?
Mary, Queen of Scots isn’t quite explosive enough to make you forgive its looser-than-needed interpretation of history. As a movie, however, there’s a lot to like here. It looks good, the drama is consistently intriguing and the characters are compelling. I'm sure there's another adaptation of this story out there that's better. If there isn't yet, there will be some day. Until then, I recommend Mary Queen of Scots. (June 7, 2019)

Although some have been proficient since the beginning, and made sure their names are pronounced correctly, like Benedict Cumberbatch, some have not been able to get people to pronounce their names correctly even after being in the business for decades – like Charlize Theron. And some, like Timothée Chalamet, just don’t care what name you call them by.
Here are five celebrity names, including Charlize Theron, that you have probably been pronouncing wrong all this time.
Charlize Theron
Tumblr media
Charlize Theron, while being interviewed by Piers Morgan, once revealed how her name should actually be pronounced. Saying her name in Afrikaans, she said that her name is actually pronounced as “Shar-lis Throne.”
Saoirse Ronan
Tumblr media
We don’t blame you, Irish names are difficult to pronounce for anyone who is not an Irish themselves. Back in 2017, during her Saturday Night Live opening monologue, Saoirse Ronan taught everyone how to pronounced her name, which is  “Sur-sha.”
Also included in this farce:
Syphilis Murphy
The Swedenborgians, Jake Gyllenhaal (& Maggie Gyllenhaal)
Emily Ratjkowski, whomever that is
Say hello to cult tool, and stenographer, Swagata Das. Shameful.
Tumblr media
Has anyone ever seen anything this fucking low class and petty? Only, usually from Fandomwire, is it this bad. A magazine, supposedly started by Reilly Johnson, a young man in a wheelchair. But given we all now know two things: That Stephen Hawking was a pedophile and a creep AND because of the Doctor Who Davros shitstorm, that saying people in wheelchairs cannot be villains.... I name Reilly Johnson of Harrisburg, PA, where the magazine is located, as either being a complete Nazified asshole OR...someone else runs the business, and uses him as cover, to deflect. I think it's past time for the public to know which.
No one who puts out petty shit for traffickers, like Scientology and the criminals connected to Soho House, is of good character. As for the article, as usual, the Hollywood Mob decided to highlight aka promote the talent that they control.
I think I speak for everyone sane, when I say I don't want cultist, Charlize Theron, anywhere NEAR a Doctor Strange film. Scrap it and come up with something new.
I'm glad that Ben won't be there to put butts in the seat for Scientology Tool, Timothee Chalamet, because that is the only way I would ever pay for one of his movies.
NOW I get the big deal with trying to make fetch happen with Saoirse Ronan, for years. She's Irish, and they even tried to get a boost by using David Tennant in one of her films. McAvoy, Knightly AND Cumberbatch were used in another film, for the same reason, weren't they? To try and boost Ronan.
As for Syphilis Murphy....nobody fucking cares or is comfortable around that creepy-looking cheat.
I don't want to see any of these fuckers. I want a decent, good, even GREAT Benedict Cumberbatch film, because HE'S the one with real talent. DO NOT shove mid listers, propped up by mobster billionaires, in my fucking face.

A small collection
I do still intend to keep writing the other more detailed How to spot guides for each MBTI type individually, but in the meantime, I collected some interviews with several people of each type that you can click through and maybe it helps you see the similarities not just of the people of the same type, but also based on the high functions that they share. I also tried to not exclusively use native English speakers because I’m personally a bit fed up with the anglocentrism of this site and the internet in general (though of course I’m also constrained in my choices here that I can only use people that I know of, which are mostly European), but if I could find some, I included interviews of them speaking both English and their native language. Even if you don’t understand that language, I still recommend looking into those interviews. Not understanding what someone is saying can sometimes actually help focussing on their body language itself.
