Slight tangent about me being a fandom disaster especially with crossover ideas!

I love when an old hyperfixation has a small comeback and I end up forcing a crossover with it and my current hyperfixation. So can someone explain to me how I have 2 different ideas, and one of them has several different options?!

Does that happen to anyone else? Or is this just me?

One is literally the plot of one with the characters from the other taking the 1st fandoms characters’ roles. The other is classic, hey we got stuck in your world somehow so now we need to blend in while helping the characters of the new world while trying to find a way back home. I am literally already writing a massive work on that, and yet this happens?

Will I actually write anything for it other than the baseline ideas for them? The most would probably be a few one-shots but could put a whole story summary if I end up thinking about it for long enough.

If anyone is wondering or cares about what the fandoms in question are, it’s Code Lyoko and Ninjago. Don’t ask me how, it just happened.

Where reader is the type of girl everyone falls for (she lana del rey coded fr) but never rlly falls for anyone (unless to gain smth she wants) but whenever shes around cole she always wants HIS attention specifically. Hes always on her mind, although she would never admit it. Even in a room full of ppl shes always checking to see if hes looking at her ("i dont care if he looks at me, but i want him to" *hes looking at her*). And reader gets jealous of cole and nya or vania especially because they had "history" (it could be during the time of when cole actually wanted nya or after he got over her), but cole also gets jealous of the amount of guys that want reader and how touchy n flirty is with them. Ninjago x WoW bc I cat get the “Kai is Tirion, Zane is Bolvar” End of ICC cinematic out of my head. Also season 11 made Zane the Lich King!! Undead army? (cured at the end of course, but still) Cursed weapon that makes the possesses the wielder? (Frostmourne-The Forbidden Scroll) ICE-THEMED, BASICALLY STUCK TO THE “FROZEN THRONE” SCREAMING. Blonde hair blue eyes lol. The only difference is HOW THEY ENDED UP IN THAT SITUATION.

The main Ninja are player characters in this au, though. Here are their classes :)

Kai: Kultiran Fire Mage (Kai is the Master of Fire, and there are canon magi who fight with swords and stuff so thatll be ok :))

Jay: Kultiran Elemental Shaman (Summons lightning, but instead of the KT totem fighters, he uses unique ones made of complete gears)

Cole: Human Warrior (I'd also make him a Kultiran, but I have reasons for not doing so because of where I have Ninjago City down as. He’s a warrior, a hard hitter and such. Jay summons an Earth Elemental for him when he needs it :))

Zane: Human Frost Mage (Master of Ice, and has a NEW secret about him)

Nya: “No you’re too young to fight” Kultiran Rogue (Got tired of staying behind during her brothers missions with his new friends and wanted to prove herself. Goes by Samarai X)

Lloyd: Nothing (Yet) (Literally eight years old. Just a funny little lad. Human, Black Dragon, Old God, AND infused with the Light bc Chosen one powers just a scared kid going around the desert and releasing ALL the wrong snakes.

Pixal: Human Rogue (Also doubles as a Warrior, though. Like she can use a sword very well, just wants to be cool and sneaky. Now, she’ll come during season 3 but her and Nya become Rogue Besties :))

Wu- Nozdormu, Leader of the Bronze Dragonflight (Yes this means all of his younger counter parts are chilling in the Caverns of Time too, lol) Looking for his nephew, Lloyd.

Garmadon- Neltharion/Deathwing. (Oh you know, Old God corruption, Snake bite, same thing) Cares only about his son. Currently on the Void, waiting for his chance to strike.

-Jay introduces Echo to the dyer family

-Echo and unagami are siblings now

-Acronix is kinda like Echos big brother

-But no one else accepts this

-Zane and Pix give skeptical and menacing, “if you touch him” glares

-Unagami is confused babi and likes their new brother echo

-So Like One day it’s Borg, Pix, Zane, Jay, Unagami, Echo, and Milton dyer, and Acronix in a room together  (Fic on that later :3 )

-The whole fam

-Nixie just lingers around borg tower saying random junk sometimes

-Acronix : “You either die a villian or live long enough to see yourself become…”

-Pix: “A very annoying customer who is about to be escorted out of the building?”

-Hires him “as a barista”. Basically he hires Acronix to sit at the counter and look pretty, while giving the joint free advertising.

-Does a diagnostic code scan

-Acronix worried bout his bae and hyped he was actually invited in for once.

-Progress on that "friendship"

-He discovers her model and general code is similar if not almost exactly the same as pixal’s code

-Ronin scrapped together with some mechanical help from his friends the walkers to make a functioning robot manager with borg tech he scrounged up and a stolen copy of pixal’s blueprints ( maybe he took pictures of them when he sold her to chen) and specs so he wouldn't have to pay for multiple employees. Just having the one really efficient one would save him thousands

-So shannon is pixals sister

-And her parents are The walkers, Ronin, and borg

-The family tree only grows people

-So Acronix is apart of the ninja family now if he marries Shannon

-Shannon starting to think he's using all this to fill the void of his brother being gone.

-Cause she has no interest for or against meeting these people but Nix sees it as urgent

-But he seems happier than usual so she'll let him throw her name around for a while. She did mooch off his social media so it was only fair

-Anyway eventually Acronix does find his brother, and tries to explain this whole mess to his less-than-thrilled twin

-God once Krux gets back tho

-“Hey bro! I married a robot she’s amazing!”

-He’s just taking selfies with her in hot topic outfits both of them

-“God no my brothers Robotsexual. My worst nightmares have been realized”

-Krux can only stare in horror at the people his brother now considers “family”

-Wu’s students?!, Robots!?, what EVEN IS AI?!?!?

-He eventually gets over it

-At least he can admire her attitude

Okay now that I know I won’t be clogging people’s dashes buckle the fuck in my dude and I should stress that I literally would not be talking about this as much as I will be if I didn’t genuinely enjoy the show. I’m gonna go season by season and just Rant

S1 has the serpentine as the bbeg and like, as far as villains go they’re p lit. They’re early enough that they haven’t been done to hell, things are fresh, the characters and dynamics are being fleshed out, and all in all s1 is a pretty solid season. There’s some fuckery that gets brought up re: how the FUCK aging works and what the actual timeline of Ninjago is and how Wu and Garmadon fit into that timeline, fuckery that LITERALLY NEVER GETS RESOLVED IN A SATISFYING WAY BC ITS REVEALED IN A LATER SEASON (s8, dw we’ll get there lmao) THAT THE ONLY REASON THE FIRST SPINJITSU MASTER, WU, AND GARMADON LIVED AS LONG AS THEY DID IS CUZ THEYRE BASICALLY DEMIGODS AND ITS IMPLIED THAT LLOYD WILL ALSO LIVE FOR A LONG ASS TIME WHICH MEANS ONE DAY HES GONNA OUTLIVE ALL HIS FRIENDS AND EVERYONE HE EVER LOVED WHICH IS A FUN THING TO THINK ABOUT AT NIGHT But anyway I digress, s1 also coincidentally introduces Lloyd (he wasn’t in the pilot episodes that set up the rest of the series) and the existence of Evil Dad Garmadon.

S2 is where Garmadon starts acting a lot more Evil and a lot less Dad. He’s the main antagonist for that season, and I actually read somewhere that the show was originally slated to end after s2 which high key explains the fuckery of literally every single season after this lmaooooo. Much like s1, I really can’t find much to complain about, the first two seasons are pretty decent as far as I can remember

Season. Fucking. Three. Where the fuck do I start??? I hate season three for entirely personal reasons revolving around the STUPID GODDAMN ROMANCE WRITING. okay lemme back up and explain a thing first so, Jay is dating Nya and they’re fine, they’re going steady, aND THEN????? THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON INTRODUCES BULLSHIT LOVE TRIANGLE FUCKERY FOR ZERO GODDAMN REASON, BITCH I HATE LOVE TRIANGLES AND I HATE THEM EVEN MORE WHEN THEYRE DONE FOR NO GODDAMN REASON!!! AND THEN. AS IF THAT WERENT ENOUGH. THEY SHOEHORNED A ROBOT ROMANCE BETWEEN ZANE AND PIXAL AND I KNOW I RANTED ABOUT THIS A LITTLE BIT WHEN I WAS ACTUALLY WATCHING BUT I DIDNT GO INTO ENOUGH DETAIL!!!! THEY MADE THE OTHER NINJA OOC IN ORDER TO PROP UP THEIR SHIP!!!!!! AND AT ONE POINT ZANE GOES “its like we were…made for each other” AND I HAD TO FUCUCJDHVE I HAD TO SCREAM INTO A PILLOW BRO, IM SO TIRED!!!! NO THE FUCK YOU WERENT!!!!!! YOU WERE MADE FOR YOU AND PIXAL WAS MADE FOR PIXAL AND IF YALLS WANNA BANG BOLTS THATS FINE BUT DONT IMPLY THAT EITHER OF YOU WERE MADE INCOMPLETE!!!! THATS AN INSULT TO YOUR MAKERS AND YOURSELVES, MOVE ON, PLEASE AND THANK YOU. anyway that season also killed Zane (for the first time, but not the last) (spoiler alert lmao) and like, not to be an emotional little shit but I did cry a bit at his funeral.

S4 is honestly one of my favorites, even though the romance crimes continue (the love triangle bullshit is continuing and honestly I maintain that Cole, Nya, and Jay should all have gotten together and in my personal canon they DID, and also Kai has a forced romance) the VILLAIN makes up for it imo. He’s campy!! He’s funny!! He’s a clown!! He’s serious enough that if he says “I’m gonna kill you” HE MEANS IT and that’s so fucking refreshing!!!! S4 is honestly 8/10 just for the villain alone, don’t like that it retconned the SHIT out of the elemental masters and how many different elements there are TO master but eh, it’s ninjago, shit is stupid.

S5 was…interesting? OH WAIT I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT S3 INTRODUCED A GARMADON WHO WAS A LOT LESS EVIL AND A LOT MORE DAD, HONESTLY I THOUGHT IT TOOK A LOT OF THE FLAVOR OUT BUT THATS JUST ME LMAOOO. anyway s5 killed Garmadon, and I was a little sad cuz I like him okay??? I just think he’s NEAT, he’s got big dad energy, he was teaching Lloyd some shit that just got DROPPED and literally was never brought up again which is honestly a theme in Ninjago. Ninjago drinking game: take a shot every time they introduce a plot point or ability and drop it at or before the end of the season. WHICH THEY ALSO DID IN S5 WITH A DIFFERENT POWER ACTUALLY, so all the ninja are masters of Spinjitsu right, well s5 introduced the concept of Airjitsu which only Spinjitsu masters can learn and it lets them FLY and they used that for seasons 5 and 6 and then they nEVER BROUGHT IT UP AGAIN EVEN THOUGH IT WOULDVE COME IN HANDY FOR S E V E R A L DIFFERENT SITUATIONS ACROSS THE SEASONS, ONE OF THEM WOULD BE FALLING TO THEIR DOOM AND MY ASS WOULD BE YELLING “YOU CAN FLY, DUMBASS” - anyway, they do that again later lmao it’s fine. But what’s low key NOT fine is they made Nya the WATER NINJA!!! Like I’m not mad she has powers, except I kinda am, she was doing just fine as Samurai X and honestly the only reason she has super special ninja powers is for plot reasons. Also Cole got turned into a ghost, but by s7 he’s????? No longer a ghost????????? And that’s NEVER addressed or reasoned away, so like. Cool lmao

S6 didn’t happen. Like, canonically, s6 ends with wish fuckery that undoes the entire season and none of the characters remember anything that happened except Jay and Nya because S6 is the season where they get back together so they remember all those events for???? Feelings reasons?????? Unclear, moving on. The actual bbeg for S6 was a djinn with a vaguely Spanish accent, and to this DAY I don’t know why they made him have a SPANISH accent. Djinn are Arabic, not Spanish!! They’re not central or South American, either!!!! Your villain design makes no sense, do better

S7 had MORE time fuckery, and retconned what happened to Kai and Nya’s parents and hmmmhmhmhmhmhm that makes me Upsetti Spaghetti :3 not just the retconning, but the fact that they LITERALLY brought them back oNLY TO NEVER MENTION THEM AGAIN!!!!!! LITERALLY!!!!!!!! Okay so at the VERY very beginning, like pilot episodes beginning, Kai talks about their dad like he died/left fairly recently, BUT s7 contradicts that and claims that both of their parents were essentially abducted when Kai and Nya were little kids, which makes me question what in the fresh fuck two little kids were doing for all those years alone. SETTING THAT ASIDE FOR A HOT SECOND, their parents were also apparently good friends of Wu’s and old war buddies (from the Serpentine wars, which is YET ANOTHER bit of the timeline that doesn’t quite add up but honestly I could make a whole other post about that shit). But if they were such good fucking friends, why didn’t Wu check in every now and again??? What the fuck was Wu doing that was so fucking important that he couldn’t have been assed to visit his friends ONCE in like TEN MOTHERFUCKING YEARS and realize “oh shit, they’re not here and there are two tiny children running around unsupervised…My Kids Now : )” LIKE????? Season. Eight. I have…mixed feelings about this one. The beginning absolutely SLAUGHTERED me, and not in a “this is so fucking funny” way. No, the beginning made me feel like I was being flayed alive with just about every episode because Ninjago was back on its forced romance bullshit and this time it was Lloyd’s turn on the chopping block. That hurt my soul cuz like, look at that mans color scheme, he’s CLEARLY alloaro, why are you forcing romance on my aro man, why would you hurt me like that, BUT ALSO BECAUSE HE AND THE GIRL HE WAS BEING SET UP WITH HAD A LITTLE HEART TO HEART REALLY EARLY ON AND IT WAS THE MOST QUEER CODED SHIT!!!! IT DEADASS READ AS A CONVERSATION BETWEEN AN OUT AND PROUD QUEER AND A CLOSETED QUEER AND THEY MADE!!! IT!!!!! STRAIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!! The only thing that kept me watching at first was wanting to find Wu, and then I started enjoying myself once Cole found a plot-relevant baby and had fatherhood thrust upon him. Everything went from “ehhhhh” to “holy shit this FUCKS” once it was revealed that Rumi (Lloyd’s love interest) wAS PLAYING HIM THE WHOLE TIME AND WAS EVIL AND HAD AN EVIL GIRLFRIEND!!!!!! LITERALLY IMPROVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE SEASON FOR ME, I COULD EVEN FORGIVE THE WHOLE “let’s resurrect Garmadon, but as evil as possible” BULLSHIT!!!!!!

S9 is a continuation of s8, Garmadon is back and 1000% Evil, 10% Dad, but none of the Dad energies is directed at Lloyd - it’s all directed at Rumi, and honestly I could write a whole ass post on just RUMI cuz that’s honestly my DAUGHTER and I LOVE HER and I’m MAD SHE DIES AT THE END OF THIS SEASON!!!! SHE DESERVED THERAPY AND TO LIVE WITH HER GF AND MAYBE SOME CRIME. AS A TREAT. RUMI DESERVED BETTER AND LOW KEY IM GONNA WRITE A FIC ABOUT IT, BUT ANYWAY WHERE WAS I

Ah right, so s9 has the four major Ninja stuck in the original dimension with no way home, while Lloyd has no powers (cuz he almost died last season) and has to somehow lead a resistance against Garmadon (who has taken control of Ninjago City and is working on the rest of Ninjago). Actually, s9 is pretty cool. Like, the end of s8 and into s9 are low key my favorite episodes, and I kinda wanna rewatch them now -

S10 is a FUN one. Garmadon got got last season, but he didn’t DIE, so he’s in cold storage and now there’s Another Threat and he’s the only one who knows wtf they’re up against so they let him out and he works with them. The funny part is, he is still Very Much Evil and doesn’t quite Get emotions like he did when he was, uh, human lmao, sO HE WOKE UP EVERY DAY DURING THAT SEASON AND DECIDED TO CAUSE PROBLEMS ON PURPOSE. IT WAS THE FUNNIEST FUCKING SHIT. 1000000/10 MY FAVORITE GARMADON, he ended that season by literally fucking off into Ninjago and they never decided to track him down 😭😭😭😭😭and I’m so SAD about it dude

S11 has another Serpentine as the bbeg, though in the setup to that they retconned how the fucking Serpentine tribes and history work??? I think???? Also Wu was a good 150% angrier and generally Done with the ninja’s shit, which was honestly refreshing tho I’m not quite sure I liked what the refreshed view was, but whatever lmao. S11 also had the ninja get yeeted to the dimension farthest from Ninjago, and honestly - okay, so they didn’t all go at the same TIME, Zane left about a week or two before the others did but there was time dilation fuckery afoot which I’m not too mad about cuz low key it makes sense. What I AM mad about is that they didn’t play the angst up to its full POTENTIAL!!!!!! Zane was EVIL in the other dimension!!!! Okay so I’m Ninjago he was only gone for maybe a week or two, but DECADES had passed in the other one, and all that time Zane was alone and disconnected from everyone he knew and loved, with a staff that boosted his power while slowly corrupting him and Turning Him Evil to help him, and like???? The thought of Zane trying to find a way home, trying to get SOME sort of message back, while he has to use the staff more and more to help him survive the long, lonely decades, so that by the time his family DOES show up its too late??? BRO. B R O. THAT JUST HITS DIFFERENT, BUT NINJAGO DIDNT DO THAT!!! THEY MADE HIM EVIL DUE TO MEMORY WIPE!!!!!! MEMORY WIPE IS BABY SHIT COMPARED TO A LONG, SLOW CORRUPTION!!!!!!

S12 was alright. It went into Cole’s mom, touched on some of the adventures she had had, threatened another forced romance (this time on poor Cole, just leave my mans ALONE) but thankfully didn’t follow through this time, introduced cool new powers that honestly hasn’t been elaborated on since that’s the most recent season I think lmao

The nindroid could only stare at his new team, em, brothers. Yes, brothers. He just couldn't believe the fact that now, he had a family, a real family that didn't use him because of his lack of interest in other activities more than helping out others. As far as he remembers, his name was Zane, he was sixteen when he found out that he had amnesia, which causes him to forget everything about himself, or most of it. He only knew his name, alias, and age, most of his other knowledge was because it was self taught throughout time.

He was sixteen when he found his real family, his brothers, sister, and Sensei. And after a few months living with Cole Broockstone and Jay Walker, the other two parts of his Ninja team as well, they found out about the new Ninja member, Kai Smith, and, with some egocentric motives under hand, since he only joined because he was trying to rescue his little sister, Nya Smith.

He was sixteen when they found out about the Golden Weapons, powerful and mystic relics that held the power of one of the Elements of Creation. The Sword of Fire, the Scythe of Quakes, the Nunchucks of Lightning and the Shurikens of Ice, with power beyond comprehension, that can make the maddest of mens try and steal them.

He was sixteen, when he found out about the motive of his lack of memory, turns out, he was nothing more than a Android —Nindroid, as Jay had put it— a Ninja Android, built to protect those who cannot protect themselves. And thanks to that, he found his true potential, a mystical reaction towards what was holding him back.

He was sixteen when he and the rest of his family found out that the small and mischievous child, Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon was meant to be the Green Ninja, a legendary Ninja with the destiny of destroying the dark lord, Lord Garmadon, and sadly, Lloyd's father.

He was sixteen, when he saw one of the most selfless acts ever, he saw, with fear and doubt, how the little blond kid used the Tomorrow Tea without looking back, to turn them into teenagers again, including... Himself.

He was sixteen, when he finally found out about his father, and what had happened to him, and how, now, was he alive. Sadly, that didn't last long, soon, with age, his father passed once more.

He was sixteen, when he saw her, her beautiful and shining green eyes, another nindroid, just like him! But... Not all things end well. He understood that no matter what happened to him, he was meant to protect, and his life was meaningless without achieving his goal, so he did it. He jumped with his friends, no, brothers help, and slammed himself against the Golden Armor of the Virtual OverLord, or the Golden Master, he felt the power, the intense energy flooding his circuits, making half of his face plate to fall, revealing his metallic features, he could feel the eyes of his family, asking, no, begging him to stop and turn around, to stop this madness. But he didn't, and with guilt in his heart, he sacrificed his own life for Ninjago, for them... For her.

He was seventeen when he rebuilt himself, and he was taken away, send to a mysterious and annoying man that stole his Elemental Powers, using him as bait towards the other Ninja and gain they powers. Sadly, he couldn't do anything about it.

He was eighteen when his little brother was Possessed by the vengeful spirit of Morro, the Master of Wind, one of many of Wu's mistakes, he could only see how the boy he wanted to protect, was almost... Gone, when they found him

He was nineteen when they began to fight against the Hands of Time and, he lost his beloved P. I. X. A. L., Alone, he made his way in the swamp, until he felt the spark of time energy on him. In the blink of an eye, he was gone, and when he awoke, his friends around him, all with mixed emotions. Had something happened?

He was twenty, when his family was together again, a year has passed without knowing from each other and... Wow,! Was that's Lloyd? He looked just so different! Just as the rest...

He was twenty, when he found out about Mr. E. Another nindroid, one that looked just like him

He was twenty, when he found out that Nya and Jay never told him about the last bit of his family, now GONE...

Gone...

He was twenty, when he found out that Mr. E.— Echo Zane, had been destroyed. And also that, his sister, partner, and little brother where just fine.

He was twenty two, when he lost his memory again. Recalling only the name, Ice, once and again. His alias, his name.

He was twenty two, when he finally remembered, and stopped Vex just before to late.

He was almost twenty three when he went back to Ninjago, and saw his mentor, and... Her.

He is just twenty three, looking at the dark star sky, hearing how P. I. X. Volunteers to find him, since it was his creation day, or birthday.

"There you are, Zane" she said, once at his side on the top of the roof of the monastery, with a beautiful sunsetting clique image.

He didn't respond, getting a frown from the female droid

"We are only waiting for you, Zane" she insists, trying to bring his attention to her

He didn't even move

Getting concerned, the Samurai went to call the others, but it was then that she noticed. The Titanium Ninja was not even... There, per say, he was gone, lost in thought and silence, and she finally found him.

So young, and lost, scared, alone and... And so much Ice that hurt...

That hurt him for decades and he never thought about it, he only cause harm and pain, all the contrary of his code. Losing his own humanity was his greatest fear, but losing it to someone that use him, and his powers from destruction instead of Creation.

She, with a smile so small in her features, took a sit by his side, grabbing his hand and resting her head on his shoulder, she looked at him. He allowed himself to look at her, he smiled.

"Ready?" He asked in his tranquil voice

She looked once more to the sky, closing her bright green eyes and sending her last wish to her father and creator, Cyrus Borg, she opened them once more, and he nodded, he already did the same. She sighed, and finally, nodded.

With that in mind, both of they powering modules turn finally off, letting the pain go away as well as they bright colored eyes. And, with smiles in they metallic faces, they shut down completely.

Leaving only they bodies there, under the bright shine of the moon. And finally, free from the pain of they past.

i wrote this back in september to y’know. break my basically year long record of not completing fics. i wrote this in one sitting, in the middle of the night, on my phone - which, frankly, i think is becoming a trend. Ninjago came out of nowhere and has me hooked so cheers!!

PIXAL was idly watching the numbers and code flash by on the screen when Zane knocked on the door. She quietly shut down the diagnostics program, disappointed in her findings; nothing was out of the ordinary. All of her systems were optimized and functioning. No mentions of a hiccup or virus anywhere. The code was flawless, like it always seemed to be.

"Come in," she called out, while swiftly but carefully pulling out the clunky cable from the left side panel on her chest, ejecting it with a soft pop . Zane sheepishly poked his head out from behind the opening of the cave, giving PIXAL a little smile.

"There you are," he sighed, an artificial sound created by his voicebank. PIXAL found it odd, but Zane had previously stated that it made him feel 'more like he belonged' - that it made it less obvious that he wasn’t organic like his family all were. "Nya's been looking for you. She said you malfunctioned and refused to let her help?"

PIXAL clenched her jaw and looked away from Zane. Shame flooded her system as she recounted the days events- a totally normal sparring fight between Nya and herself. Losing wasn’t the shameful part; it was how her body reacted to...

Shaking her head, PIXAL stood up from her chair- too fast if Zane's expression was anything to go by. Weaving around the mechanisms and machines, she quickly picked up a sweater that was lying around in the Samurai X hide-out. She didn't need to wear clothes, but she knew that it led to discomfort or flushed looks her way whenever she didn't.

"I am fine, Zane," PIXAL hummed, while pulling the sweater over her head. "You do not need to worry."

Zane frowned slightly, closing the door behind him and crossing his arms. "Forgive me for being blunt, but your powers shutting off because of a simple throw over the shoulder is not 'fine'."

"I ran a diagnostics test," she replied, her eyes drifting to the now turned off screen. "Nothing is out of the ordinary. My systems are optimized and running and I cannot detect any physical injuries that would cause me to turn off." PIXAL sat back down on the chair in front of the control panels, watching as Zane furrowed his brow and grabbing the spare chair that Nya used and placing it next to her.

"Then why did you?" Zane sat down with a soft clunk , his fans whirring softly. His blue eyes flashed, and he sat back with a concerned look on his face. "My sensors cannot indicate anything wrong. Something, however, is clearly distracting you. Your movements were less sharp than usual today."

PIXAL's fans kicked in, and she forcefully archived the wave of embarrassment she felt in her systems. Her cooling liquid rushed through her body, hurrying to lower the temperature of her core and limbs before anything fried or shut off. "Yes, Zane, I noted."

Zane didn't respond, so PIXAL took the time to sort through and analyze the memories from the sparring. Nothing was vastly different from her usual trainings. Everything was running smoothly, until she changed sparring partners to... Hm.

"Zane, how did you..." PIXAL started slowly, breaking the silence. "How did you figure out your feelings for Cole? How did you manage to define love ?"

The titanium nindroid sat up even straighter, somehow, at her question. "Ah, that is a complicated question."

PIXAL looked at Zane as his eyes flashed a darker blue and nervously scratched a hand behind his head. "Well, when did you realize you had acquired more than platonic love for him?"

"I will be fully honest with you, PIXAL," Zane chuckled, "I would have kept analyzing for decades why my systems reacted differently to him if it were not for him confessing to me first."

"What do you mean?"

"Love is very hard to define, and thus to understand. For the longest time I assumed that I would never feel romantic love," He explained, looking thoughtfully at the Samurai X suit stationed in the room. "And yet, after Yang and Stix, I found that my feelings for Cole were different compared to the others. It was not necessarily stronger or more confusing than the feelings I felt for the other in our chosen family, but. It was not the same."

Humming, PIXAL looked down at her hands. That was indeed similar to how she is currently feeling about Nya. Not worse or better, but different to how she reacts to Zane and the rest of the ninja. Stroking her hands across the soft blue fabric of the sweater (of Nya’s sweater, she realised with a start- she must’ve left it here when she last visited), her sensors tingled as the static of her fans mingled with her thoughts.

Ever since her reveal as Samurai X, Sensei Wu had recruited her for proper training. PIXAL didn't need it, as she was a nindroid - she could simply download data and put it to use without training, but Sensei Wu insisted. In usual Sensei Wu fashion, he said a probably inspirational quote, but PIXAL had a hard time picking it apart and understanding it.

PIXAL won nearly every time someone sparred against her. Analysing and predicting her opponents’ movements was something that took no energy at all; Kai was too hectic, and not planned out. Jay flails too often and can't control his strength. Cole tends to rely too much on brute force when he loses his concentration, and while Zane is the most balanced out of the bunch, he can get too caught up in the numbers to fight freely. Nya, however... Nya was the hardest to predict and beat.

Nya banters while she fights, her words smooth and knowing, yet sharp and biting. She's light on her feet despite being a sturdier and shorter build. While she mostly stays in one fighting style, she's versatile and can quickly change to defensive from offensive, and vice versa. Despite being serious in actual brawls and scenarios, Nya laughs and jokes as she spars and trains. It distracts PIXAL too much to predict her blows.

That is just what happened that day. PIXAL got distracted while analyzing a jab Nya had thrown at her, giving Nya the perfect opportunity to strike. She had grabbed PIXAL by the arm and flipped her. Nya had just laughed that loud and spontaneous laugh at her, and extended her hand to help PIXAL up.  

From PIXAL's view Nya looked like nothing PIXAL had ever seen before. Around her hair was a soft and warm glow from the sun, a halo illuminating her face and changing the black tint of the loose curly strands sticking out from her ponytail. Her deep brown eyes had sparkles in them and her soft, round flushed cheeks pushed up against them. Between her eyes, her nose was scrunched up, the way it did when Nya smiled genuinely. PIXAL found that she longed to see her this way more often, to make Nya happy and to hear her laugh. How she wished she could stay in that position and admire the woman in front of her more often.

It... It was too much information for PIXAL to handle. Warning notifications clouded her vision, her fans going haywild inside her chest and her motherload heating up. A strange feeling arose in her chest, and the last thing she saw was Nya's expression turning concerned as her systems shut down.

"In what ways was it different?" PIXAL asked curiously. “How did your attraction to Cole change… Well, your behavior?” Zane smiled at her, warm and flustered.

"I was, ah, distracted, mostly. I found myself thinking about him more. I would feel elevated yet terribly anxious whenever I was around him- which was not good for our team, by the way," Both nindroids chuckle, the unnoticed tenseness in PIXAL's shoulders melting away. "My system would generate daydreams and thoughts about him, possible what-if's that were so much more... Involved than it had ever done with the others. My fans would work in overdrive to keep my circuits from frying around him. I put so much of my energy into unwillingly noticing small details, from the cracks in his hands or the texture of his hair. Wondering and wishing about him."

PIXAL softly clenched her fist, remember how pretty Nya was under the sun, and how she had an undeniable need to remember everything about that moment.

"So when he admitted to having... Romantic feelings- you understood what it was that you felt?"

"No, not exactly," Zane grinned at PIXAL's confused face. "I understood that I, too, felt a romantic need to be with him, but I never could, nor have defined love. I still get warnings and emotions that I cannot compute properly or solve. The important difference, however, is that I know the source, and it makes the whole experience easier to pick apart and understand."

Nodding, PIXAL subconsciously opened up her memories. How many are there of her not understanding the signals her systems and body are giving her? How many feature Nya, with her smiles and laughter and wild hjinks and theories that leave PIXAL speechless and bewildered every time? How many memories has she purposefully archived, because they were not memories at all; rather figments of her imagination, puzzling together fantasies of the two together, or of obscure details featuring Nya? PIXAL simply didn't know.

“I do not know if I am capable of loving someone,” PIXAL admitted, her voicebank rumbling quietly. “I do not believe that is in my programming. In the very least not romantic love.”

“And I doubt it is in mine,” Zane chuckled. “Yet, I found that I had fallen for Cole. You are the only one who can find out whether or not you are able to love, PIXAL. And if you aren’t capable of romantic love, you are clearly capable of platonic love.”

"If I were to hypothetically catch these feelings- romantic feelings - for someone," she unsurely spoke, feeling her eyes flash pink and her cooling liquid circulating. Warnings popped up in the corner of her eye how her sensors were overloading slightly. "What would be the best course of action?"

"That depends from person to person," Zane nodded, clasping his fingers together with a click. "What would hypothetically work best for you and your counterpart? What is your raw, unfiltered instinct? Consider before you do anything, but do not overanalyze. You will only get stuck in the numbers and analytics of it all- and those are not to be trusted when it comes to things such as love. They are usually unreliable, since love is an unpredictable phenomenon."

Frowning slightly, PIXAL made a mental note to save this for future use.

"I must go," Zane stated, sheepishly standing up and moving his chair out of the way. "The chicken I am roasting will soon be done. If you wish, I will let you know once dinner is ready."

"I do not eat."

"No, but good company truly never hurts." His footsteps echoed along with his words as he wandered towards the cave entrance.

"Thank you, Zane," PIXAL called out, successfully stopping Zane in his tracks and making him look over his shoulder. "For everything."

"It is no problem," he smiled and resumed his walking. "Good luck with Nya!" he called out right before stepping outside the cave and closing the door, ignoring PIXAL’s offended yelp and giving a clear chuckle in the distance.

Embarrassed but satisfied, PIXAL busied herself with cleaning up the cables she used for her diagnostics check. Nya’s shirt hung around her shoulders, it’s shape too short for her chest but yet too big to sit snuggly. PIXAL found that she didn’t wish for it to fit any other way. The soft blue contrasted well with the purple electric veins that adorned her arms, the color family intermingling aesthetically. Smiling, she decided that was more than enough talk for one day.

Green Ninja: Into The Ninja-verse

Big Spoilers for Spider-verse

Lloyd Garmadon was the only Green Ninja, or at least he thought so, until he met Morro. Shortly afterwards, Lloyd was killed by Nadakhan after attempting to shut down his machine, which it’s propose was to bring a version of Dilara to their universe. Before dying, Lloyd gave Morro the key to stop the machine, and told Morro to be the next Green Ninja. It was announced everywhere in Ninjago that the Green Ninja was dead, and Morro knew he had to do something, he had to become the Green Ninja. He tried to jump from building to building, but fell from the first one. Luckily he wasn’t injured, but he broke the key by landing on it. He failed Lloyd’s request. He walked to Lloyd’s grave to apologize to him. Someone tried to talk to Morro but Morro somehow shocked him. Morro ran over to the man and realized, it was the Green Ninja, but he was different. He looked much older, and had long hair. (Post SOG Lloyd)

Lloyd M. Garmadon was the only Green Ninja for as long as he knew. He saved Ninjago, his father returned to normal, Zane died to save Ninjago, Zane came back, his father was sent the Cursed Realm, Nya saved Ninjago, his father died, he saved Ninjago with his friends again, he fell in love, the one he loved tried to kill him, he lost his friends and a later his mother, he saved the city one more time. He was sad from the death of his friends, but he handled it like a champ*.(Translation: Got Depressed) One Day, he was training*, when something weird happened. (Translation: doing nothing) Lloyd got sucked through a portal and landed in Ninjago City, except it wasn’t his Ninjago City. Things were different, and he was... dead. He was walking by when he saw a kid dressed up as him standing near then this Lloyd’s grave. The kid shocked him, causing Lloyd to pass out.

Morro had finally convinced Lloyd to teach him how to be the Green Ninja, they went to place where the code for the machine was being made. Lloyd told Morro to stay outside. Not long after, Morro saw Nadakhan, he went in to warn Lloyd. Lloyd and Morro got to the lab and, they discovered that Morro could somehow disappear. The main scientist walked into her lab in suprise. She got a sample and discovered the Lloyd was slowly dying. The scientist revealed herself to be Harumi, The Quiet One and tried to kill Lloyd. Lloyd and Morro barely escaped Harumi, and they wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for... another Green Ninja? It was the new kid at Morro’s school, Nia. She told him her name was Nya, and she was also the Green Ninja. Morro told Nya the key broke and she told them where they could fix it. Lloyd, Nya, and Morro went to Lloyd’s mother, Koko’s, place. She took them into the new Samurai X cave and they noticed they weren’t alone. There where 3 others like them. Lloyd Garmadon, The Green Samurai, and he was still a child. Lloyd Garmadon, except he came from the from the past. And Lloyd Garmadog, a universe where the ninja are dogs.

I will never ever in my whole life touch a horror game, but if the story interests me enough I’ll research it and maybe watch it(i.e. Resident Evil, Until Dawn, Little Nightmares etc)

I never played Fallout or Skyrim(I doubt I’d ever play Fallout) but I love learning about the lore of them.

Note: I really can’t physically play a horror game or a game that just bothers me. I’ll feel sick, panicky and be unable to sleep for a few days, it’s that bad. Same for horror movies. Horror books I’m kinda fine with. Though this isn’t super specific because I do have exceptions. Horror anime I can handle depending on how crazy they get. Certain elements in games can also get to me, like having a super dark night cycle with no music(I’m looking at you Stardew) to being a first person open world all by myself(Firewatch). It’s just weird for me and hard to explain.
