Clara at the Office on a Rainy Day

Clara Eveson, deep in thought on a rainy afternoon at the agency. Her desk is a quiet storm of notebooks, sketches, and lines of code—because when she's not sketching the natural world, she's designing personalities for AI agents that live in the digital one. She works for a boutique agency that builds intelligent assistants with charm, empathy, and just the right hint of mischief. The rain taps the windows like it’s trying to learn her secrets, but Clara’s not telling. Not yet.

Mira from Luminaera

In the heart of Luminaera, where the city's pulse beats in sync with the neon glow of ever-changing billboards and the gentle hum of airborne cars, there lived a girl named Mira. On the surface, Mira might have seemed like your average city-dweller, but her story is woven with strands of enigma and a touch of the extraordinary.
It was a balmy evening when our tale unfolds, the sun dipping low behind the steel spires of Luminaera, setting the horizon ablaze with a palette only seen when day meets night in a lover's embrace. Amidst this twilight dance, Mira walked through the teeming streets, a slight figure cloaked in an oversized hoodie that bore the whimsical image of a cat with soulful, verdant eyes — a stark contrast to the sterile sophistication of her surroundings.
Her hood was up, casting gentle shadows across her features, with locks of chestnut hair curling out like tendrils of a story yet untold. But it wasn't her casual attire that made Mira stand out — it was the way she looked at the world: eyes wide with wonder, reflecting a quiet resolve and a hidden fire that burned with dreams and quiet determination.
Mira wasn't just any inhabitant of Luminaera. She was a coder by day, a digital sorceress weaving spells in the form of algorithms and programs that helped the city stay on the cutting edge of tomorrow. Yet, by night, she transformed into a street artist, her creations a vivid disruption to the metallic sheen of the urban landscape.
As the streetlights flickered on, casting pools of light onto the pavement below, Mira reached into her pocket and pulled out a holographic spray can — a gadget of her own design. With a flick of her wrist, a canvas of light materialized before her, hovering in the air. She painted not with pigment but with photons, crafting a mural that sang of the city's untamed heart.
A cat appeared on the holographic surface, agile and free, leaping from one virtual rooftop to another amidst a shower of code and stardust, an emblem of the untamed spirit that lurked within the steel bones of Luminaera. Passersby stopped, entranced by the dance of color and light, a fleeting enchantment that whispered of mysteries held close by the night.
By morning, nothing would remain of Mira's nocturnal masterpiece but the faintest imprint on the memories of those who'd witnessed it. And Mira? She'd return to her desk, her screen aglow with lines of logic and loops, the only hint of her other life the tiny pink heart on her sleeve and the glint of adventure in her eyes.
And so, beneath the gaze of a million stars and the endless possibilities of Luminaera night, Mira's story continues — one of art, heart, and the silent symphony of a city that never sleeps.

Eltingville Club, but... Gen Z
A dumb idea I laugh at, so I draw it out. It's not big on being a "fan" like OG E.C., just annoying internet extremely online users I've encountered as a Gen Z who has been on the internet for more than a decade.
BILL DICKEY
Username : @discardedmrtyr // Bill
Favorite shit : (anime harem), politics, reading, doing reviews, internet drama, leaked content (porn, mostly), shooter games, pepe reaction images.
Occupation : Substitute teacher while in college
Blackpilled anime enthusiast and notorious troll, Bill spends his days spreading hate online while using pepe reaction images because he’s upset how soyjacks are tainted with normies. He’s a vocal critic of all things progressive. He frequently targets minorities, celebrities, and content creators. Bill finds joy in provoking outrage. He’s loves shooter games. He's a Belle Delphine supporter on Onlyfans even when she hasn't uploaded anything. At work as a substitute teacher, Bill abuses his position to indoctrinate impressionable high school students. Off work and college, he gets very active on forums like Lolcow and Kiwifarm. He actively feeds drama with his leaked/stalking finds. In his spare spare time, Bill enjoys reading fanfics and making movies and books reviews that he keeps to himself.
JOSH LEVY
Username : @IHrtSeal // @SealLover123 // Seally // J-Chan
Favorite shit : seals, art, fan content, lost media, roleplay, Harry Potter, Steven Universe, Homestuck.

He’s active on Deviantart, Twitter, Tumblr, Discord, etc. Josh customizes his profiles that fit into his aesthetic. His texts are roleplay-like, dramatic, with excessive emojis+emoticons like ♥️♥️♥️(>_<!!!). Josh has a strong interest in fan-content, mainly fanart, often commissions fetish arts from various artists, he commissioned Shadman once. Josh is also prone to harassing others over OOC and selfships. He treats the internet like a safe place diary where he publicize his suicidal ideations and meltdowns. He shows unwarranted sexual behaviors towards strangers online. He is a fan-writer. He writes a lot for character wiki pages and has proship tags in his AO3 works.
PETE DINUNZIO
Username : @VmP175 // @vAMPiro // Ambrose // Leech
Favorite shit : analogue horror, gamemaker games, obscure horror games, illegal/banned medias, true crime reality
Occupation : Cashier and weed dealer
Degenerate loser, Pete accesses the dark web and those Telegram groups daily. He mainly seeks porn of anorexic girls or girls with self-harm scars (prefers it fresh). Self-proclaimed sex icon, Pete would larp as big bad hot alpha men, thirst post on TikTok, showing his muscular body while wearing classic hot men horror masks. He only replies to mentally ill girls.
Dirt poor, with a shitty laptop that can only play roblox and low-quality gamemaker games (always pirates it). Pete is a skilled coder, and he attempts to create games independently. Very huge relation, very socially active. Doxx people online. He uses a lot of AAVE (the white kid with the baggy clothes who's talking like he’s black). Pete has parasocial relationships with content creators. He will defend his favorite creators even after they’re outed as a horrible person. Groomed by a creator he looks up to when he was a kid but feigning ignorance. He does a lot of edgy jokes.
JERRY STOKES

Website : Voidspeech.net // anon
Favorite shit : art, music, memes, brainrot content, cute girls, cute things
Occupation : University student
Leads a double life, Jerry going through University as a rich nepo baby while maintaining his sona online. Jerry fakes an Asian identity. He pretends to be Japanese, using Google Translate. Jerry has an art account with a decent following, where he focuses on his passion, keeping things vanilla and drama-free. He hates seeing reposts of free palestine, blm, etc. Jerry shares his art on Twitter and Newground, usually just girls or softcore porn. Jerry runs a website called Voidspeech, where he posts NSFW political edgy weekly webcomic (and remains anonymous). Pete finds out Jerry is behind the website and manages to get in contact with him. Jerry would send memes and brainrot content in the group chat. He rarely ever talks on group voice calls. Instead, he uses his customized soundboards to show reactions or just quote one of his brainrot content. Jerry would make shitty music he laughs at and forces his friends (especially Pete) to listen via Discord voice call. would say “I get lesbians!”
Bonus (concept design)
I didn't really like Pete's design, so I redesigned his outfit.

========================================================
[tutorial: build your own neocities/nekoweb page]
========================================================
a beginner's guide for making your very own home on the indie web—retro, personal, weird, and 100% yours.
this ain’t an average wix, squarespace, or tiktok aesthetic.
we’re talking full html/css with soul and attitude.
[ prerequisites ]
------------------
> an idea
> basic text editor (vscode, notepad++, or even notepad)
> account on https://neocities.org or https://nekoweb.org
> some gifs or tiles you love (dig deep or make your own)
> optional: image host or gif repo (or self-host everything)
[ feeling overwhelmed? read this. ]
-----------------------------------
you do *not* need to know everything.
html is not a mountain. it's a garden.
you plant one tag. then another. then a style. then a button.
you can build your site piece by piece.
and every piece is a portal to somewhere personal.
you are allowed to make broken pages.
you are allowed to use templates.
you are allowed to start over as many times as you want.
this is *your* world. you control the weird.
[ step 1: create an account ]
-----------------------------
> neocities: https://neocities.org
> nekoweb: https://nekoweb.org
register a name, log in, and enter your file manager.
this is where you upload your files and see your site live.
[ step 2: your first file - index.html ]
----------------------------------------
make a new file: `index.html`
basic starter:
<html>
<head>
<title>my weird little corner</title>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css">
</head>
<body>
<h1>welcome to the void</h1>
<p>this is my page. it’s strange. like me.</p>
<img src="mygif.gif">
</body>
</html>
> upload to the dashboard
> boom. you’re live at
https://yoursite.neocities.org
or https://nekoweb.org/u/yoursite
[ step 3: add a style sheet - style.css ]
-----------------------------------------
create a file called `style.css` and upload it.
here’s some nostalgic magic:
body {
background: url('tile.gif');
color: lime;
font-family: "Courier New", monospace;
text-shadow: 1px 1px 0 black;
}
img {
image-rendering: pixelated;
}
marquee {
font-size: 20px;
color: magenta;
}
link it in your html and the vibes activate.
[ step 4: decorate it like a haunted usb ]
------------------------------------------
> use <marquee> for chaos scrolls
> embed gifs from https://gifcities.org/
> steal buttons from https://cyber.dabamos.de/88x31/
> set up a guestbook at https://www.smartgb.com/
> loop audio with <audio autoplay loop>
> add fake errors, 90s web lore, random link lists
[ step 5: resources, themes, and comfort ]
------------------------------------------
> templates & layouts: https://numbpilled-themes.tumblr.com
> glitchy gifs & buttons: https://glitchcat.neocities.org/resources
> layout builder: https://sadgrl.online/projects/layout-builder/
> free tiled backgrounds: https://backgrounds.neocities.org/
> beginner html intro: https://www.w3schools.com/html/
> pixel fonts & cyber assets: https://fontstruct.com/
remember:
you don't need to know js. you don't need to be a coder.
you just need a mood, a direction, a dream.
the html will follow.
[ bonus concept: shrine pages ]
-------------------------------
> a page just for one character you love
> a room to house digital fragments of your identity
> embed quotes, music, images like altars
> call it shrine.html and link it from your homepage
[ closing mantra ]
------------------
you are not here to be optimized.
you are not a brand.
you are a ghost inside the machine,
carving your initials into the silicon void.
welcome to Your website.

Matchup for @ochirukajitsu
Congratulations you have a match with..

Idia Shroud !
★Idia Shroud never expected to get attached to anyone at Night Raven College. People were exhausting, unpredictable, loud. He preferred his room, his games, the comforting glow of his monitors over real-life socialization. That was the plan to get through school with minimal interaction and zero attachments.
★Then you happened.
★At first, you were just someone he noticed in passing, another student who didn’t seem too keen on socializing either. That was fine. But what wasn’t fine was how interesting you were. Your Vkei-inspired aesthetic made you look like some mysterious NPC from an obscure gothic RPG, the kind with hidden lore and tragic backstories. You were quiet, intense, always with headphones on, as if the world wasn’t worth acknowledging.
★Which was exactly why Idia refused to acknowledge how much he started noticing you.
★He told himself he was just observing from a safe distance. That was normal. Totally normal. It wasn’t like he was intrigued by the way your sharp, blunt words could cut through nonsense like a well-placed attack in a Soulslike boss fight. Or that he admired how you seemed completely unbothered by social expectations, disappearing whenever you felt like it, making it clear that you owed nothing to anyone.
★And it definitely wasn’t like he started seeking out your presence on purpose. Nope. No way.
★But then one day, he overheard you talking about Fear and Hunger. And that was the beginning of the end.
★Idia had been content staying in the background, but the moment you mentioned the game’s brutal mechanics, something in his brain short-circuited. Before he could stop himself, he interrupted.
★"Wait—you actually like Fear and Hunger? And you think the atmosphere is top-tier horror??"
★You looked at him. Not in the way most people did, either not with judgment or confusion, but with actual interest. And then you started talking. About RPG mechanics, game design, dungeon synth, and all the things Idia had convinced himself no one else in NRC cared about.
★That was it. That was the moment.
★Idia never thought he'd meet someone who could match his energy in a conversation. Someone who could keep up with his rapid-fire game analysis, who had hyperfixations as deep as his, who could rant for hours about their favorite topics without losing steam.
★For the first time, Idia wasn’t just rambling into the void. He was talking to someone who got it.
★After that, things changed. He started seeking you out more. He found himself checking online forums to see if you had posted anything about new game releases. He made playlists with your favorite metal and Vkei artists, secretly listening to them on repeat.
★And then there was your gift-giving.
★Idia wasn’t used to receiving things. Not personal things, at least. So when you casually handed him a handmade trinket,a tiny keychain of Ortho, crafted with intricate detail,he froze. His brain went completely blank. His hair flickered pink. He had no idea what to say.
★(Ortho, of course, immediately started teasing him. “Big Brother, your hair is pink! Are you overheating? Do you need assistance?”)
★That moment was the first of many.
★You weren’t good with words, and you didn’t like physical affection, but your gifts spoke volumes. Little handmade accessories, carefully drawn sketches of him, customized details on your DIY fashion that were meant just for him. Every single one made Idia feel like his system was experiencing critical errors.
★It was too much. Too much thoughtfulness. Too much care.
★And worse? He liked it.
★So he started returning the favor. He wasn’t great at making physical things, but he was a coder, a gamer, a digital artist. So he did what he knew best,he coded a custom game for you, one where you were the protagonist, battling through a gothic-inspired dungeon, with hand-drawn enemies and lore written just for you.
★He didn’t say anything when he sent you the link. Just casually dropped it into your inbox like it was no big deal.
★(Meanwhile, Ortho watched in the background, shaking his head at his brother’s complete inability to handle emotions properly.)
★It was easy to fall into a comfortable routine.
★You weren’t the type to force conversation. You understood his social battery issues because you had your own. If either of you ditched plans, neither took it personally. You just sent a single text “Not today. Low energy.” and that was that. No pressure. No expectations. Just mutual understanding.
★When you did spend time together, it was always on your own terms. Late-night gaming marathons, silent crafting sessions where you customized clothing and he worked on code, long walks under the moonlight with a single pair of headphones shared between you.
★Idia liked knowing you were there. Even if you weren’t talking, even if you were just existing in the same space, it was enough.
★But then came the realization.
★The stupid, frustrating, terrifying realization that Idia had caught feelings.
★It didn’t hit him all at once. It built up over time,watching you beat an impossible boss fight, catching you smiling to yourself while sketching, noticing how you always remembered tiny details about him.
★And then there was the way you treated Ortho.
★You never dismissed him, never treated him like an afterthought. You listened to him, included him, respected him. And that was when Idia knew.
★Knew that he was completely, hopelessly screwed.
★His brain went into overdrive. What was he supposed to do? You were cool, independent, a little scary in the best way. And him? He was just some awkward shut-in with bad posture and zero romantic experience.
★So, like any self-respecting coward, he tried to ignore it.
★It didn’t work.
★Because every time you casually handed him another handmade gift, or mentioned a tiny detail about him that he’d forgotten he even said, or just existed in his space without making him feel like he had to change…
★His hair flickered pink. Again. And again. And again.
★(Ortho started keeping a counter.)
★Maybe Idia wasn’t meant to be a protagonist in a love story. Maybe he wasn’t meant to be a bold, confident romantic lead. But… maybe that was okay. Maybe you didn’t need grand gestures or sappy speeches. Maybe all you needed was someone who understood that love doesn’t always need words.
★Maybe love could be silent companionship, carefully curated playlists, and a custom-coded game for you.
★And if that was the case… then Idia Shroud was pretty sure he’d just found his favorite side quest.
English is not my first language so I'm sorry if there are any spelling mistakes!

Now Im interested on the "What if the 3 Vs passed Reader around like a blunt"
I kind of meant it in like a "what if you were some weird shared friend/pet" but I've seen people HC that the 3Vs are poly, although we've never seen any canon confirmation of this and on the Instas it was always Vox who was Val's explicit partner
Although to be nasty I feel like Velvette would be fucked up enough to watch Reader get railed by Val and Vox. Like in some party scenario where you're with all 3 in their house and Valentino dopes you up or something, she's just like, recording you getting spitroasted on her phone
I usually imagine these sorts of scenarios as Reader meeting Val and then slowly drawing the attention of the others, although Vox really has grown on me and I hope we see more of him these last two episodes. Anyways i'm starting to like the idea of Reader meeting Vox first. Like can you imagine you get hired on as a coder or a programmer or a product developer, and he's patrolling the facilities or checking in on a specific project and that's when you meet. He either notices the quality of your work or your manager brings it up to him, or there's some massive metaphorical fire you put out (like that woman who saved toy story 2 from being completely erased because she had all the files backed up, something like that)
You and Vox get to talking, getting along, having similar tastes. He starts giving you different projects, ones he thinks are better suited to your skills (and also put you in closer proximity to him). Fucking liar is arranging shit like company calendars or company events where there are photoshoots JUST so he has an excuse to pose with you for a photo. I mean, it makes sense right? Why would you question your boss wanting to take a celebratory photo at the release of a huge product launch? And you're happy and feeling so respected and successful and being friendlier with him the more you settle into Hell and feel safer, and then I imagine Vox's way of being "obvious" is that he's like, easily nervous or a nervous laugher , I dunno. It's all preference but I like yandere/antagonists who keep their cool a little bit but then it's also cute when they fawn over you 🥰 like the people who know him see the way he laughs around you and they Instantly Know
But then, maybe Val is perceptive enough to notice, "hey why does my man keep taking photos with this one specific person". Like maybe Vox is trying to be slick with it and all the photos are group shots but Val notices that every single photo has you in it and some of the photos are for really minor events he knows Vox wouldn't normally care about. Vox slips up one day when you and him are "sharing a car to go to a company event" which totally isn't like a catered dinner that there are only going to be SO many people at, TOTALLY NOT an incognito date that you're complerely unaware of the intentions behind, and Vox has to stop in back home to grab something, or you get pulled inside for a moment just to wait, he's gotta grab a laptop or a flash drive and, suddenly here's Velvette, "Vox I'm borrowing your nerdy employee, I'm short someone and I need a model for something" and you're getting dragged away
Vox is freaking out thinking you got swiped by Val and he's zipping through the electrical lines in the house (the electro-teleportation shit really is SUCH a game changer), and he finds you trying on things with Velvette, "oh my gosh I've never worn something this nice before, thank you for giving me the opportunity to try it on ^^" and Velvette is so pompous that any praise goes right to her head, and now Vox gets to see you all styled in... whatever. Velvette waves a finger, "now you two match!" as she puts you in an outfit with Vox's aesthetic and color scheme, and she's doing it to tease the both of you but she IMMEDIATELY notices "oh hey Vox what's that look on your face >:3c does someone have a crush?"
SHE would be the fucking gossip who would tell Val honestly. Actually new headcanon lmao: the Vs rarely want to share you but will rat each other out for "having you" in a heart beat. Velvette and Vox hide you from Val, but any of them will gladly steal you from the other lmao. God, a yandere Vox who's lucid and tryna keep his behaviors under wraps, keep it to pictures, stalking and looking from afar, and then you have the other two Vs like SHOVING YOU at him as like, a joke to watch him squirm and blush. They'd be randomly bringing you along just to tease him and watch him sweat. Valentino hits Vox up for a date or a night out and the tv demon shows up and you're there too lmao
I feel like these three are the worst because they all have the capacity to be obsessed with your appearance. Velvette is an influencer, Vox is a TV mogul and tech CEO, and Valentino... obviously we don't need to comment on his penchant for having arm candy. All of them are obsessed with their appearance and their brand and one of them is literally a tailor with magical clothes changing powers. You could have something like the other two Vs show up while you're serving Val drinks and Velvette cocks her brow, "hey, why doesn't this one have a proper uniform?" And she just starts zapping you into different varying levels of exposed outfits that match the other employees at the strip club and Val's aesthetic just for kicks as the big man himself oogles you like a pervert and his boyfriend is pretending he's not interested but, his screen is totally turning red
Tbh I'm suddenly thinking of like, imagine thinking "your body is safe" because Val has never come onto you and, you aren't sleeping with anyone and, you get upset one night and do some self harming behaviors. Velvette or Valentino comes and demands you try something on or you get nonconsensually zapped into something and there are cuts hidden on your body. Velvette is furious because this affects how you look in her clothes and what she can dress you up in, Vox is you know concerned because idk I imagine he knows what it's like to be horribly insecure and feel like you aren't good enough, and Valentino probably loves having you constantly half naked and the self harm scabs? Not hot, babe. Obviously they're all upset over you hurting yourself but, these are occasional feelings on top of that
Ugh I dunno just. They all have power and influence and money and they're all crazy and I'm over here kicking my feet and twirling my hair with thoughts of being objectified in allllll the fun ways

Devil here again! Thanks a lot for your answers! Yeah, I'm basically on the opposite side of escapism where I try to torture myself with every media I engage with. It's a rather unique way of engaging with media and it worries some. But It's what I enjoy. I try to learn and compare and engage with most media like I would philosophy. There is a **LOT** to do about the game. Lots of big things need updates, reworks, etc, one of which is the combat system that's being worked on too. The Baileys daddy-issues thing taken out of context is far worse than what it actually is. Inside the server basically all the Bailey fans are well aware that fatherly issues are a large draw towards characters like Bailey, Eden and even Avery. A friends server I'm in even uses custom stickers for "Daddy Issues Club". The Abortion thing, yeah, it's hard to properly explain things to many different people many different times and attrition just wears down peoples energy and drive, so sometimes things just start getting brushed off and hit with a "No because we said so." The Evilness and Rudeness has toned down a lot, some still remains but that is in general part of the culture, I've become well aware I can't be that way to everyone and to better read the room. The thing about peoples social media I've stopped doing. Yeah it's public but still, I'm an admin, this is a big server, it's just rude. Instead we've started DMing people we see with a lot of linked accounts or if we see private info on them to alert them in private that they might be in danger of people seeing things they don't want seen. Puris aesthetic is very much yellow and angel based, but yeah, no self-inserts in DOL. We are very much against that given the themes of the game. Sydneys whole thing is that their fate is decided by others. They are rather spineless and the Temple has dictated their entire life up until they met the Player/PC. At that point now Sydneys life is in the players hands. But no matter what we as the players do Sydney is doomed to a life of danger and pain. When it comes to contributions they are reviewed and approved by Contribution Managers which are trusted and experienced individuals. These CMs talk to people, teach them, give them notes on how to edit scenes. Once these scenes are completed and reviewed they are put into the pipeline to be coded into the game by our Coders. They send Merge Requests to the Git, where these merge requests are usually checked once more and then approved by Puri or Vrel and such. Before all this it was far easier for people to sneak things in. Edens OOC soft content, Trans-Coded Robin content, basically **ALL** of Morgan and his...incestious rat-eating.
Ooh, a rework on the combat system? 👀✨ Now that's something I would genuinely look forward to, since I built a story of my PC being a kind of fighter who plays filthy dirty hehehe >:)
Once again I have to ask: no Mommy Issues Club? 🥺 In all seriousness, it does tells about the fandom - or at least the server specifically - that there's more emphasis on problematic fatherly figure than motherly ones :0c
Oh yes, exactly one-on-one with how I view Sydney's whole character <3 They have absolutely no control over their own life, they are just switching control from the Temple to PC. What an absolutely self-destructing cutie, I love them so much 💖✨
The contribution system sounds really interesting! How are the Contribution Managers chosen? Were they handpicked personally, or were there application out for anyone to apply for it? And now I have to ask: from the sound of it, Morgan's everything is a mess. How did their character got so 'bad' to this point? I feel like Eden's Soft OOC-Ness and Robin's Trans-Codedness (appearently? Never notice that huh) doesn't seem as bad as Morgan?
Also wait, Trans-Coded Robin moments? I am probably just blind but I'd love if anyone can point out what these moments are because I do not notice any of them 👁👄👁

Fandom: Invader Zim
Character: Gaz Membrane (aged up)
Pairing: Romantic
Type of Fic: Concept
(Optional) Other info I should know: Gender-neutral human reader
I can try, sure. Although it may be short as I kept running out of ideas :( Decided to flesh out the aged up AU in this.
Yandere! Gaz Membrane Concept
Pairing: Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Stalking, Manipulation, Slight isolation, Jealousy, Implied murder, Dubious relationship.
Alright, I imagine this would be an AU around college.
Both Gaz and Dib are in college for different careers.
Dib is probably studying science or something like that, despite being fixated on the paranormal due to Zim.
Gaz seems like she'd be a coder, like a video game coder who's antisocial and tends to be by herself?
Those seem like the careers the two siblings would major in.
Gaz probably still likes the goth aesthetic, often staying in her dorm coding while ordering pizza.
She's still petty like she was when she was younger too.
She still rarely smiles and many tend to leave her alone.
That's fine for her... She likes her focus.
She tends to play with people online but isn't fond of human interaction.
For the most part Gaz is a shut in.
However, many in her class remark that she is an excellent coder.
Not only that, but Dib is probably also excellent in his field.
Gaz, when it comes to her obsession, is still very quiet.
She observes your presence and possibly even enjoys it.
Compared to others, you're more tolerable than most people.
She isn't really possessive or protective.
She cares for her obsession but, again, is relatively quiet about it.
Imagine if you two are in the same major or another class?
Either one would make you two interact.
At first she's cold, always focused on her handheld or her laptop.
Although... Over time you two end up interacting for projects.
Which allows you two to become friends.
Gaz originally viewed talking to you as a means to an end like she does with most people.
Yet over time she realized your presence is, at the very least, tolerable if not pleasant.
I feel as a yandere she isn't that intense... around you at least.
I imagine to those around you she'd be horrible.
Gaz doesn't care for many people except her family and you in this case.
Many are scared of her, they have been since she was young.
Not like she cares though.
After all, she's the most at ease in her passions.
You are quickly becoming one of her... passions.
Gaz likes to bond with you as she codes, especially if you're both coders or working on a game together.
An interesting idea is Gaz convinced Dib to help her in her obsession.
For example, maybe making a camera to watch you.
Dib is nervous about why she'd want such a thing...
Yet Gaz is very secretive on why she wants such a thing.
For the most part Gaz doesn't really bother with cameras.
She follows you around herself, watching either from the shadows or just hanging out with you.
You two are no doubt both introverts...
Which means you two get along best with one another.
This works in her favor as she doesn't need to worry about other people near you.
Not like they'd come close with her around, right?
I can even see you and Gaz pulling all nighters on certain projects.
It may just be work with some company... but to Gaz it's like bonding.
To you she's quiet, occasionally smiling around you while you both hang out.
To others... Many feel she could kill.
She's already known to stalk and torment others.
Especially if they're too close to you.
It's worse if Gaz finds out someone likes you romantically.
Apparently, once she finds out, that person just... disappears?
No one on campus knows why or where they go...
But they're nowhere to be found, supposedly transferring away.
Or worse, but best not to look into that.
It's funny how oblivious you are.
Gaz just seems to be your quiet goth friend who enjoys coding and your time together.
The thought of her being behind disappearances or even stalking you doesn't register in your mind.
Gaz also seems like the type of person to install malware or spyware on your PC to learn more about you.
All really subtle things that don't link back to her.
Gaz would never hurt her obsession... but others are fine.
This is her own twisted way of dealing with her crush.
She isn't sure if she can tell you right away...
Which leads to her being your best friend and learning everything you have to offer.
Including watching over you as you sleep in her dorm.
She may not admit it, but you mean a lot to Gaz.
Even Dib can tell... although he finds the way she deals with her feelings... creepy.
When wasn't Gaz creepy, though? She's been that way since they were babies....
Dib doesn't entirely support Gaz... yet doesn't go against it either.
Mostly because Gaz threatens him to not look into it.
Gaz is completely fine with keeping her feelings quiet.
She's patient... but until then...
She has competition.
Subtle ways Gaz keeps you to herself is you staying at her dorm often or study sessions.
It's quiet, just like her, and you just see one another as friends.
Gaz knows she should tell you her feelings some day.
After all, someone else may do it before her...
But she'll prevent that no matter what it takes.
When she does, she'll be your girlfriend.
She won't kidnap... yet you're already isolated as is....
You won't see her red flags and she'll tone it down when you're hers.
She may not be possessive... outwardly at least.
Yet she can be jealous.
Jealous to the point it irritates her.
For now, Gaz will just study, play games, and eat pizza with you...
She'll wait to confess...
Then you can really be all hers, with a bit of patience... and some planning.

Someone had sent a confession on alt rock confessions a while ago about how people immediately seem to discredit artists for having any training at all; if they come from a school or have been told anything about the music industry, they are 'being groomed' as if knowing about the industry isn't simply the only way of making good, informed decisions.
They've been doing that again on the Fontaines subreddit, it is so infuriating to me. Knowledge is power. These people's thinking is loosely along the lines of 'if you have the music industry equivalent of financial literacy, you are not pure of heart' which is just dumb and backwards. What the hell, man. Look at this nonsense, directly quoted off Reddit.
I happen to have been in BIMM at the same time and can tell you for a fact that the band were nurtured by the college. Not “manufactured” per say but definitely groomed into the industry. The same happened to The Murder Capitol (sic) also. It didn’t matter what these bands made they were going to get signed and were destined for success based of their connections, markability (sic. Ed: marketability?) and network. BIMM had classes called Artist Development where teachers would pair students into groups and cover songs as weekly assignments. A significant element of the bands image, style and aesthetic arose from those classes and assignments. The band still had to find their way afterwards and build an established reputation but a Lot of groundwork was done in BIMM before they took a foot into gigging and touring etc and most of it was guided by tutors. FDC (and TMC to a lesser extent) had years of experience and were well schooled in the music game a long time before they toured. Anybody that says otherwise is talking bollox, this is straight from the horses mouth of someone that went through the trenches with both of these bands and knows the story.
If you think spending an hour in classes where you write and cover songs is industry insiderism, you are insane. I am not a professional musician, and even I have sat in on these classes. I've built a portfolio of songs written during classes. It doesn't make me a professional musician. To say that these bands had an 'unfair advantage' because they... wrote songs in classes is insane. That's like saying anyone who wrote code as part of their assignments in my computer science class had an 'unfair advantage' over someone who didn't go to school, and so accordingly should be seen as a less good computer scientist than the pure-of-heart basement coder. You sound insane.
(I'm not going to even address the claims on their image. What 'image' did Dogrel-era Fontaines have? They were Just Some Guys who turned up and played music. If anything, their look was the 'metrosexual bearded city man' look of the 2010s. If my job was to tell people to grow their hair long and make a manbun a few years too late into the long-hair-and-manbun era, I would be bad at my job. It's not like they recommended designer Lady Gaga fits for the lads. Ffs. The only time Fontaines have had a look is now, aged 28, when Romance rolled out.)
Let's put aside these tepid claims and delve into those who say there are classes that teach you how to navigate your way through the music industry. If you're a musician on some path to a music career, you've probably been to some sort of industry event. Played or attended a showcase festival. They often have talks that are meant to teach you the same things. You can go ESNS for the entire week for €100. NXNE full fest passes go for $29. Canada Music Week (arguably more of an industry-mechanics event than NXNE) costs $75 for the whole weekend (they're renaming it Departure? What? Anyways). SXSW is a tech event now and I refuse to count it. Focus Wales costs £80 for the whole weekend. The Great Escape is £108.
What I'm saying is, you get a chance to do that networking, meeting people in your industry, those starting out, those who have already been where you've been. There will be people giving advice on what to avoid, what is a myth in the industry, what a record deal means. This is not an 'unfair advantage', these are things you SHOULD know if you're going into the music industry.
It sounds as wishy-washy as anti-intellectual sentiment about those who read being 'above' you or whatever. Knowing the first thing about the music industry just means you don't die penniless at the end of your life because a horrible record contract crippled your finances and life.
#music#musicians#Fontaines D.C.#but this goes beyond them boys#music industry#good for them if they went to school? That doesn't make a career#fontaines dc

The psychotic is an architect of absence, a mason of the void, compelled by the spectral whispers of an Other that does not exist. Where language fractures—its grammar corroded, its signifiers adrift—the psychotic hears not silence but *command*. The voices that plague them are not mere hallucinations but imperatives from a phantom sovereign, an Other conjured from the raw static of the Real to demand reparation. This is no passive affliction but a vocation: to rebuild the shattered edifice of the social link, brick by delusional brick, in a world where the Symbolic has defaulted on its contract. The psychotic does not flee the defect in language; they *inhabit* it, becoming both symptom and surgeon, patient and prophet.
Autism, by contrast, is a silence without echo. The autistic subject has not merely rejected the Other—they have *evacuated* it, leaving behind a fortress of solitude where the social link does not even register as loss. There are no voices here, no spectral injunctions, only the hum of a closed system, a syntax turned inward. If the psychotic is haunted by the Other’s absence, the autistic is its absolute negation—a sovereign of the void, untroubled by the demand to repair what was never whole. The autistic does not hallucinate coherence because they refuse the very fiction of a social bond. Theirs is a heresy of indifference, a jouissance that needs no audience, no shared grammar, no Other to witness its pulse.
But the psychotic—ah, the psychotic is a martyr to the social. Their delusion is a *gift* to the world, however unwelcome. Schreber, prostrate before his divine persecution, weaving a cosmology from the scraps of a foreclosed Symbolic; Joyce, dismantling English into a private pidgin of puns and portmanteaus; even the paranoiac scribbling manifestos in a basement—all are laborers in the quarry of the Real, hewing new structures from the bedrock of collapse. The voices that drive them are not madness but *mission*: to suture the wound in the Symbolic with the thread of their own making. Their delusion is a *sinthome* elevated to civic duty, a mad utopia where the social link is reinvented as a hall of mirrors, reflecting only the singular logic of their jouissance.
This is the cruel irony: the psychotic, condemned by the world as broken, is its unwitting repairman. Where autism abandons the social to its entropy, the psychotic *insists* on its salvage, even if the blueprint is illegible to all but themselves. Their auditory hallucinations are not breakdowns but *blueprints*—a cacophony of orders from an Other who exists only in the negative space of language’s failure. To hear voices is to be interpellated by the void, deputized as the architect of a new regime. The psychotic does not merely endure the Real; they *enlist* it, drafting their delusion as a constitution for a nation of one.
Jungle music, in its own way, is a psychosis of sound. The genre’s frenzied breaks and destabilized rhythms are not a rejection of structure but a *reconstruction*—a new social link forged in the crucible of sonic collapse. The DJ, slicing and dicing amen breaks, is a psychotic cartographer, mapping a territory where the old laws of melody and meter no longer apply. The rave, that temporary autonomous zone, becomes a delusional democracy: a society convened under the rule of the breakbeat, its citizens bound not by language but by the shared jouissance of the drop. Here, the defect in the Symbolic is not a flaw but a *feature*—a fissure through which the Real erupts as rhythm, as collective catharsis.
Cyberculture’s glitch aesthetics follow suit. The corrupted file, the pixelated artifact, the infinite scroll—these are not errors but *edicts* from the digital Real, demanding new protocols for connection. The autistic coder, scripting in the solitude of their terminal, and the psychotic hacker, possessed by the chatter of rogue algorithms, are two faces of the same coin. One builds fortresses in the void; the other tunnels into the heart of the Symbolic, planting bombs of noise in its sterile corridors. Both are heretics, but where the autistic refuses the social contract, the psychotic *rewrites* it—in lines of code, in bursts of static, in the fever-dream logic of a world unmoored.
To be psychotic is to be tasked with the impossible: to speak the unspeakable, to bind the unbound. It is a vocation of radical responsibility, where the subject becomes both sacrifice and savior, tormented by the very void they are compelled to fill. The voices that command them are the echoes of the Symbolic’s collapse—a siren song from the edge of meaning, urging them to build anew from the debris. The sinthome, in this light, is not a private refuge but a *public service*—a lighthouse erected in the storm of the Real, its beam visible only to those who dare to navigate the void.
The psychotic’s tragedy—and their triumph—is that they alone hear the call to rebuild. While the world sleeps in the shroud of the Symbolic, they are awake in the Real, drafting manifestos in the dark. Their delusion is the price of vision, their voices the tax levied by the abyss. To dismiss them as mad is to miss the point entirely: they are the only sane ones in a derelict world, the last architects standing in the ruins of Babel.

A big part of why Artists feel so negatively about people in the tech industry is that the Tech Workers also fall into the trap of believing their work is more Noble And Superior than anyone else's, and they tend to get pretty obnoxious about it too (Even if Tumblr these days doesn't have those types on here anymore). It especially doesn't help that there's always been a huge push in American culture to value hard sciences/STEM over soft sciences like arts and philosophy, which results in people who think that STEM is the only intellectual pursuit that's Useful, and another who believes the exact opposite and that only the humanities are Truly Intellectual.
i hope you won't take this response too disparagingly because i truly do see what makes you say this. but this is kind of a made up problem. just like how there are people discouraged from being artists, there are people discouraged from being scientists or engineers, or honestly, even people who are discouraged from ever wanting to engage with bureaucracy or sociology. i know a lot of engineers who've gone through this and who have never remotely had that sort of superiority complex, because they're the people exploited to have to jump between failed start up to failed start up, or crushed under the tedium of having to code for multinational corporations without them owning any of their code and being subject to extremely violent crunch times. none of those people believe their work is Noble and Superior, probably because they don't get the luxury to see their work as their own (because, say, a graphic designer who is by all means An Artist in the aesthetic sense will also lack that luxury.). you're conflating the very real proletariat workers of these industries with their bourgeoise counterparts, the ones who hold the means to pay the coders, the ones who launch the startups with loans from their rich parents, the ones who don't actually do the production or the labor, who do have a very real entitled attitude, but not any more than academics in humanities, or publishing houses for books, or art gallery owners. any sort of perceived "favoritism" from hegemonic culture exists both ways because it's, fundamentally, a distraction from looking closely at the class relations existent in any industry at all.

Hi folks! Welcome to my blog, anarchyra- little space where creativity meets the code.
I'm Aparajita, but you may call me by my coder name, nickname, or whatever feels the most natural to you. Coding and designing digital signatures is what I do, and this blog is dedicated to showcasing my creations, which is mainly for users of WoX (World of X) roleplay sites.
Whether you want to breathe new life into the profiles of your characters, make your plotters look stunning with a new layout, or you want a mad digital signature according to your aesthetic, you are indeed in the right place. I will continue to post codes regularly for free use along with updates, previews, and maybe a few design tips along the way.
I also take custom requests! If you have something specific in mind; a particular style, color scheme, structure or idea; it is okay to reach out to me. I would be happy to work with you on that and bring it to life.
💌 You can contact me through: — Tumblr DMs (right here!)
— or Discord: anarchyra

[Booting up!]
[Initializing Wake Up Protocols...]
[Initializing Typing Protocols...]
[Opening file "Intro Post.txt"]
....! So this works after all!!
I can actually get into the posts! This is great!!!
Hello there hi!!! You lovely people of this webbed sight!!!
It is I- the ROTUMBEAST. I live in the website and I make things run. Or something. Anyways here's ME!
[Uploading file "ME.png"]
----
Pelipper mail: {Disabled}
Magic anons: {Disabled}
Commands: {Disabled}
---
I like to doodle! Feel free to send in Rotumbeast related requests, anything not drawn for answering a regular ask will be tagged as "vaguely canon". You're free to interact with such posts but whether they're a part of the beast's story is up in the air
----
Hi there! It's @twodragons-blooper-reel :] Since this is a reboot of the blog (though you'll find the old posts are still available below!) you already probably know what this is though allow me to re-introduce him!
The rotumbeast is a sentient incarnation of the rotumblr website, and it has the ability to traverse the website's connections to universes and the like. It likes to help(causing rotomblr connected devices to appear for fallers for instance), though is more prone to mischief.
The rotumbeast is a purely digital entity, and thus is contained within the hardware of a serverrack somewhere... Waiting for its chance to break out(well, maybe not).
If the beast is not in the machine, the machine doesn't work, and the beast will not fare well outside its proper place.
Another note. Please do not send me asks with code in it or asking about a coding thing without either an explanation of what it is either in the ask or in a separate one. I'm not a coder, I just enjoy the aesthetic 😅 You will only succeed in confusing me.
But that's all! Feel free to ask silly, serious, or upsetting questions. I will do my best to tag things properly (though sometimes I don't know if something specific needs a tag or not.)
This blog will be meta sometimes. Simply because. If this bothers you you can block the tag "rotumbeast meta"
