By reading financial reports and understand the industry better than anyone else, you will have a higher chance of success than someone who is emotionally invested. If you're into technology and follow Apple's product releases, you are more informed than someone who is just investing in Apple thinking their asset will pay off. Making accurate, factual predictions on where the future is headed can lead to a major payoff. In 2017, I invested in AMD and Intel because I know that with cryptocurrency mining on the rises, people would be buying computer parts to process the algorithms required to mine cryptocurrency. Due to this prior knowledge and being aware of the where the curve was heading I was able to cash out with large profits from both my crypto investments and stock investments before everyone else jumped the gun and wanted to be apart of it (if you bought my bags, sorry) My most recent payday came in the form of pot stocks, now in 2018 pot stocks are being well talked about but I beat out the mainstream media and was able to walk away with over 40K in profits from a few thousands dollars invested early.
