Sims 4 Fontenot Legacy - Robin and Sigrid's Wedding Day

After what seems like a centuries-long engagement between Robin and Sigrid, their wedding day is finally here! The weather is beautiful, perfect for a day of celebration, and the venue is buzzing with excitement as the couple and those closest to them get ready for the day.

The men's quarters is considerably quieter (as it often is 😆) with just Robin, Colt, Haru, and little Juno hanging out. Still, they're enjoying the gentle morning, resting as they prepare themselves for a full day of festivities.

Meanwhile, in the bridal suite, there's a buzz of excitement threatening to burst through the windows as Sigrid's closest family members gussy themselves up for the wedding. Where's the bride, you ask?

Scarlett (through the door): Sigrid, doing okay in there?

Sigrid: Yeah! All good! Be out soon!

And soon enough, Sigrid did reveal herself to her family waiting for her.

The older sims in the room crowd around the door, gawking as the bride shows herself for the first time.

Anya: Sigrid! You look stunning!

Yolanda: I second that! You look so beautiful, sis.

Scarlett: Oh Sigrid... you're the perfect bride, really. Are you ready for this?

As Sigrid's family looks on at her in awe of her beauty and grace, Sigrid feels an overwhelming calm wash over her. The journey to this moment has been long, stressful, and arduous, but it also makes the moment that much more precious. After waiting for years, it's finally her turn, and the calm she feels tells her she's making the right decision, so she looks to the ladies (plus Sabrina 🤭) with confidence as she responds.

Sigrid: I'm ready.

The ceremony begins with everyone important in attendance! Sigrid's remaining siblings are able to make it, as are all of her nieces and nephews (minus Harley's kid who's still a newborn... or infant. I can't remember 😆) and Harley's wife Hajar, who Sigrid only just got to meet on the day of the wedding. Most of Robin's family is here as well, from his sisters Anya and Matilda to his large extended family. Sigrid and Robin even decided to invite Sabrina's friends and their partners, as well as people like Juno's father Marquise. Needless to say, it's the biggest wedding event of the season!

One of the very last invites to go out, however, was one that Sigrid tossed in right at the end: Coty has made it to the wedding all the way from Sulani, with little Milo as his plus one. Having traveled from so far away, he barely makes it in time for the beginning of the ceremony and slips into an empty seat near the back. His expression is hard to read, however. Is he calm? Tired? Forlorn? Perhaps... yearning?

Robin: Sigrid... It seems like no time has passed between the first time I met you and now, but so much in our lives has changed. We've lost a lot but also gained so much more, including two beautiful children who are the lights of my life. You have been the most wonderful partner, loving me through my shortcomings and pitfalls, and I have dedicated my life in return to doing the same for you. Today, in front of all of your family and friends, I am making this dedication known to all, that as your husband I will love and cherish you and our little family, support you through the good and bad times, and practice patience, grace, and understanding through all points of our lives together.

Sigrid: Robin, you have been a joy as a partner all these years. You've held me up when I wasn't strong enough to hold myself. You've encouraged me, reassured me, and always made sure I knew how much I was loved and adored. Our lives together have been a rollercoaster, from growing into a family of four before we could even blink to dealing with all of life's hardships. I know one of the hardest moments for you was losing your father before he could see you become the man you are now, and you have always wanted to be a fraction of the man he was to your mom. Well, I feel pretty confident in saying that you have surpassed him, just as he would have wanted. And now, as we declare our devotion to each other in front of everyone we know and care for, I promise to be the woman deserving of such a wonderful man. I promise to support your dreams, lift you as you have lifted me in times of weakness, and focus on growing our lives together as a team.

After an exchanging of rings after their vows, the two seal their marriage with a kiss, officially becoming Mr. and Mrs. Lay! Finally, after years of planning, dreaming, and anticipation, these two finally tied the knot! Time to celebrate!

After some obligatory photos, the newlyweds make their way into the reception area to continue celebrating the day with all their guests, making sure to greet and thank as many people as they can get to. Sigrid and Robin are still parents though, and during the day she finds herself having to give Audrey a little extra attention. As a result, she doesn't even notice when a familiar face walks up behind her.

Sigrid: Oh- Coty! Didn't even see you there!

Coty: Yeah, you were in full storytelling mode! No worries, just wanted to give my congratulations.

Sigrid pulls him in for a hug.

Sigrid: Thank you! I'm glad you could make it. Is Milo here?

Coty: Oh yeah, probably socializing with anyone willing to listen. Not very often he's around so many sims.

Sigrid: We've gotta change that for sure. We still gonna plan to put that playdate together?

Coty: I'll be in town the rest of the weekend. If you guys have some time, give me a call.

Sigrid: I think I can do that.

The party continues on, but the newlyweds slip away for a bit. Why you ask? Well for starters, Sigrid changes into a more comfortable outfit for a night of dancing, but she also decides to show it off to Robin first along with another surprise.

Robin: What is all this?

Sigrid: Just a little something I set up to let us have a private moment. Wanted to give us both a chance to decompress a little during all of this stuff. You like?

Robin: I love.

Sigrid: This spot has the best view of the river. Makes you realize how big the world we live in is. Puts everything into perspective.

Robin nods, a comfortable silence growing between them before he speaks again.

Robin: What a day, yeah?

Sigrid smiles.

Sigrid: Tell me about it. We finally did it. We're married.

Robin: Yeah. You're my wife.

Robin looks at Sigrid with unfiltered care and adoration, admiring her beauty in the soft glow of the candles. It was never a doubt in his mind, but the moment proves more than ever before that he's chosen the best partner he could've ever picked. Sigrid grins at him, a glow on her cheeks, a life within her eyes that Robin hasn't seen shine quite as brightly in the past years of stress and life. Looking at her, he knows she must feel the same way.

He pulls her closer, letting the moment flow through the both of them. Sigrid falls into the gesture without hesitation, looking upon her new husband with swelling affection.

Robin: This has been the most perfect day. All our family and friends here, our girls... this feels like a dream.

Sigrid: I know what you mean. Everything's been just right. Although I have to say this feels pretty normal.

Robin: This?

Sigrid: Us. Together. I mean, outside of the fancy clothes and venue, everything else feels just like it always does. You've been my husband for a long time. This was just formalities.

Robin: I'll admit there were many times when I caught myself referring to you as my wife during our engagement. Just felt natural. Now I don't have to hold back anymore.

Sigrid: You never did. You've always had my heart. I love you, Robin. Forever and always.

Robin: I love you too.

The duo eventually head back down after spending some time together, living it up on the dance floor. Needless to say, the wedding was a huge success, and Sigrid and Robin look forward to many years of marital bliss!

Chapter 5

The loud cock-a-doodle-doo below her windows pulled the young woman out of her lethargy, and she shook herself awake with a groan. Another long night, restless hours trickling down slowly enough to tease her. Her mind replaying the same scenes over and over again as it had for three months. The endless, inevitable drowning she submitted herself to. Half out of guilt over the choice she had made, half out of regrets over what she couldn’t have.

Messy hair all over her face, Lexa rolled out of bed. She tilted her head left and then right, the loud pop doing little to ease the tension in her neck and shoulders. She dressed mechanically, pants and then shirt, tied the belt with her colt around her waist, and braided her hair before putting on her hat. Not bothering with breakfast, she headed out of the empty house she called home. She had repeated the same gestures so many times that she could go through the motions with her eyes closed.

Lincoln was already at his desk by the time she arrived at the sheriff’s office, and he removed his feet from it when she threw him a disapproving glance. Things had been slow for a while in Polis, and Lexa busied herself with the newspapers for a couple of hours, only stopping to great Anya.

Ever since her return from Arizona, things had been off between the two women. Anya could tell that something had happened there. She wasn’t stupid and knew Lexa better than anyone. The brunette’s refusal to discuss the situation, paired with her constant state of grumpiness, put a strain on their relationship. Lexa wanted to believe that if she told Anya about Clarke and the other Delinquents, her friend would understand. That she wouldn’t call the marshals on them. On her for protecting them. Deep down, she knew that the deputy wouldn’t betray her. The two of them were more like sisters than coworkers; they had known each other since they were children. If it came down to it, Anya would choose her over her duty. But doing so would make her an accessory, something Lexa refused to add to her heavy conscience.

Unsaid-Verse Dramatis Personae

A list of all the named OCs who have showed up in the Unsaid-verse so far. (Or what I did instead of actually writing.

Annika: Youngest daughter of the Fjerdan ambassador about four years into Alina and Aleksander’s reign, Nadya’s friend.

Anton Kogart: The mayor of Novokribirsk. A “portly man of unremarkable height with a receding hairline balanced out by generous mutton chops,” with a slightly nasal voice. A kind and well-intentioned busybody who loves attention.

Avdotya Sidorova: Alina’s midwife, a delightfully blunt woman, “reed thin with a sharp nose and salt-and-pepper hair pulled back into a simple bun.” Although Otkazat’sya, she’s been working as a midwife at the Little Palace for decades; feels for the Grisha, as she has a niece who is a Tidemaker.

Cassandra: Black mare, Sock’s mother, and sister--through their mother--to Hector, Aleksander’s primary horse.

Luiza Kogarta: The wife of Novokribirsk’s mayor. A “short, stocky woman with a kind, round face, and blonde hair so fair that the generous amount of grey in it is only visible in direct sunlight.” Kind, excitable, and somewhat noisy, but bound by the etiquette. Has three children, the oldest boy is in the navy, middle daughter is recently married in East Ravka, youngest boy is enrolled at the military academy.

Madam Barysheva: High society woman Alina encounters in Novokribirsk. She holds no title, but is married to one of the richest men in the city. In her late thirties. She has a good head on her shoulders and an affinity for the arts. She and Alina get on well.

Madam Gribova: Luiza’s mother, high society woman in Novokribirsk. “A stately matron with a deeply lined face, but a straight back, her steel grey hair in an impeccable do.” An imperious woman concerned with propriety and the duties of a wife, especially giving her husband sons. (Basically, imagine Maggie Smith as the Dowager Duchess from Downton Abbey.)

Madam Yenina: High society woman Alina encounters in Novokribirsk. The young wife of a local noble, currently expecting her first child.

Olga Blinova: Nadya’s wet nurse. Otkazat’sya resident of Os Alta, in her late twenties. Married, her husband Igor--affectionately called Igorek--works in the Little Palace as a cook, while Olga is a homemaker, supplementing the household income with some washing and mending. They have four children, one girl, the oldest, named Anya, and the boys, the youngest named Pavel. She is pregnant with her fifth when Alina and Aleksander are in West Ravka.

Nadya: Alina and Aleksander’s firstborn daughter, conceived the night of the winter fete.

Sergei: Head groom at the Little Palace stables. Middle-aged Otkazat’sya with slightly stooped shoulders and grey, thinning hair. Quiet, polite, and dutiful.

Socks: Colt born at the Little Palace stables during Alina’s first few months there. Named after his undesirable pattern--although his breed should be all black, he has white “socks” on all of his feet.

Colton “Colt” McCormick - Not Sure Genderfluid (He/She/They) - Kevin and Firkle’s Oldest Child - 12 - FC: Erin Mommsen

Colt has always been a quiet, non-fussy child. He prefers to listen, observe, and think rather than speak very much. When he does open his mouth, he is absolutely certain of what he is saying, but his accent is heavy from his father. He loves Fauna and Gil to the moon and back and considers them his full siblings instead of just half-siblings. His ‘gift’ is similar to Kenny’s, in that he cannot truly die. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have a familiar, so Firkle has to birth him every time he dies. He looks up to Kenny for this fact, but still doesn’t speak much to him. Much like Kenny, he crossdresses and feels comfortable being referred to with any pronouns. 

Delta McCormick - Not Sure Cis Female - Kevin and Firkle’s Youngest Daughter - 10 - FC: Emily Perhonen

The youngest of Kevin’s kids, as well as the the youngest of Firkle and Kevin’s kids. She is a very sweet girl, and is gifted with eloquence and grace. She can befriend almost anyone, and is capable of changing herself to meet the needs of the people around her. Much like Gil, she can change parts of her appearance at will.

Enya Broflovski - Bisexual Cis Female - Daughter of Kyle and Eric - Quads With Ember, TBN, and TBN - 15 - FC: Billie Piper

Quick to call people on their bullshit, Enya prefers to pronounce her name closer to Anya. She questions everything and has a habit of doing a lot of talking, though she tries to make sure she knows what she’s talking about before she speaks. She butts heads with Ember on occasion because they are both very stubborn. On more than one occasion, she has tried to extend an olive branch to Letha, though she has been rebuffed because it isn’t really her that Letha hates. Her feelings get hurt very easily and she jumps to conclusions very quickly. 

Gavyn “Gav” Chadwick-Marsh - Homosexual Cis Male - Son of Stan and Gregory - 14 - FC: Vinnie Hacker

Gavyn makes valiant attempts at being a peacekeeper, but he has a habit of causing trouble instead. He’s an avid boxer and dreams of going pro someday. He has a very weak stomach and a love for wine, as well as dogs. He has two Greyhounds named Delilah and Deoborah, Lilah and Obo for short. He will eat all day and still be hungry, though he has an allergy to anything in the Allium family (Garlic, Onions, Shallots, and Chives), and refuses to eat most heavily processed meats (chicken nuggets are out but he will eat chicken strips). He looks up to and likes to train with his older half-brother, Arthur, and is half-siblings with Arthur, Tana, Maddox, Mona, Brandy, and Hennessey.

Gossamer “Goss” Johnson - Homosexual Cis Female  - Daughter of Ravencrowe and AJ - Quints With Lucien, Umbra, Valentino, and Olivia - 15 - FC: Dayana Crunk

Goss is a very quiet girl with a judgmental stare that could turn your bones to jelly. She doesn’t talk much, even to her own family, but she does love them. Velika likes to hang around her because she lets her just talk, and she is a very good listener. She likes to work with her hands, and is often seen playing with string and making bridges and the like with it and her fingers. She stims often, and sometimes chews on her hair when she’s nervous about something.

Harkon “Ark” Makowski - Homosexual Cis Male - Son of Mike and Larry - Quads With Aleera, Verona, and Marishka 14 - FC: Miles McMillan

The oldest of the quadruplets, Harkon was the only boy in the bunch. He's very protective of his little sisters, and probably more than a little nosy into what they're up to. Being the only boy made him feel somewhat left out sometimes, even if his parents worked to prevent that. He idolizes Vic, and commonly will go visit his grandpa whenever he can. He's been told he looks a lot like him, which confuses him as much as everyone else.

Kellen “K” Tucker - Homosexual Cis Male - Son of Craig and Tweek - 14 - FC: Yago Taboas

Being in front of a camera was never something that Kellen had a problem with. Coffee, among other things, is something that he lives on, and probably drinks way too much of. For the most part, he will only drink Tweak Bros, unless he is out of town. Much like his mother, in that situation, he will drink Harbucks. Unlike his mother, he doesn’t do it to spite his grandfather. He has a tendency to shed his clothes at the first sign of warmth. While he can be very confrontational, his go-to is to try and defuse a situation. When pushed, however, he can be unpredictable and violent.

Marishka “Rishka” Makowski - Bisexual Cis Female - Youngest Daughter of Mike and Larry - Quads With Harkon, Aleera, and Verona - 14 - FC: Dakota Fanning

Knowing that she is the baby, Marishka is fairly certain that she can get away with anything she wants. Even if there isn't more than two hours between her and Harkon, she still acts as though she's years younger and doesn't have to be responsible. She can be overly indulgent and will not hesitate to give puppy dog eyes to her father in order to get her way. With a flare for the dramatic, she is always willing to go the extra mile for her desires. Ever since she was a child, she was interested in theater.

Perseus “Percy/Perce” Giffard - Pansexual Cis Male - Son of Fisher and Scott - Brother To Ransley and Toby -13 - FC: Simon Kotyk

Perseus is the middle child of Scott and Fisher, and one of the protective older brothers to TBN. While he doesn’t head up the outfit, leaving the decision making to Rans, he can definitely pack a wallop. Like his father, he has a fondness for tattoos, even if he shouldn’t have them at his age. He is a full vampire, and likes to remind people of that fact when he’s angry. His eyes glow a light yellow when he is hungry.

Ransley “Ran” Giffard - Homosexual Transmale - Son of Fisher and Scott - Brother To Perseus and Toby -15 - FC: Henrico Van Niekerk

Rans is a very rough-and-tumble kind of guy, and gets into a lot of unnecessary fights. However, the ones that he feels better about involve his siblings, or the rest of the Society. He directs Percy’s rage where it needs to go, and has a bit more of a head for strategy than his younger brother. They both have a tendency to defend TBN to the death, but Rans is the same for Percy, as well. When he is hungry, his eyes glow blue and are very pale.

Satcher Donovan - Pansexual Cis Male - Son of Clyde and Ella - 15 - FC: Fernando Lindez

Satcher is half vampire and half werewolf, and he is very aware of his big puppy dog eyes. He’s very sweet, but has and will use his looks and willfully ignorant behavior to get out of responsibility. If that doesn’t work, he has taken to simply turning feral and bolting. He runs much better than he flies, and blames that on his father’s inability to fly very well, either. He’s a mama’s boy at heart, though he loves both of his parents (and Jimmy).

Sibyl Broflovski - Bisexual Cis Female - Elder Daughter of Kyle B. and Infiniti - Identical Twin to Maserati - 15 - FC: Deborah Ann Woll

Sibyl and Maserati were born due to a Ritual between Kyle and Infiniti, so that they could help with Infiniti’s priesthood and take up the mantle when they were older. Sibyl was bound with half of a demon early on in her teenage years to help with her gifts and give her a better way to discern things. As she took to helping in Terrance’s lab, as well as with Pete’s greenhouse, she began to learn more and more about the magic that was imbued with her. 

Umbra Johnson - Bisexual Cis Female - Daughter of Ravencrowe and AJ - Quints With Lucien, Goss, Valentino, and Olivia -15 - FC: Obsidian Kirttu

Interested in the occult and finding ways to help with the consumption of the many vampires in South Park, she is very studious and often forgets to do things for herself. This includes taking care of herself. However, she will always make sure that she looks presentable if she has to go out. She spends a lot of time at the library. Unlike her father, she doesn’t fear the Society, and will seek their help if possible.

Velika Goodman-Thorn - Pansexual Cis Female - Daughter Of Damian and Larry - Twin To Alden - 15 - FC: Jodelle Ferland

Velika is the older twin born to Larry and Damian. Being the grandchild of Satan has its perks, and she enjoys putting them to the test. Unlike her brother, who enjoys learning, she finds too much sitting still to be impossible. She gets distracted easily and has a lot of energy, and tends to use her powers to make it easier for her to escape when she gets in trouble.

As Sigrid and Robin's wedding is now days away (yes, it's finally happening!), Sigrid heads to the venue to do some final checks to make sure everything is in order. Anya, ever the supportive sister-in-law and major help in the planning process, meets her to do one last check of the space.

Anya: Ah, been a minute since we've been here, huh?

Sigrid: I'm just glad we found this place. All thanks to you of course.

Anya: Well I know some things about wedding planning. Of course I have to use my learned skills to help my sister! Thank goodness you have me too, Robin would be so lost trying to do any of this stuff.

Sigrid: I'll admit he's been a bit naive to this whole wedding planning thing. It's nice to have your help. I just hope everything is coming along inside.

Anya: Well there's only one way to find out! After you, bride-to-be!

Anya and Sigrid make their way inside, taking a good look at the reception space which is looking very nice as things are being set up for the big day.

Anya: Another wedding happened here just yesterday so they're still switching things out, but this is looking very nice so far!

Sigrid: I agree! These vibes are perfect. Looks like everything is coming along in here. Can't wait to see the final result.

They take a good look around the reception space, making notes about the room and anything they may need to follow up on to make sure everything's perfect for the big day. Then, as they finish up they make their way to the ceremony room.

Anya: Wow...

Sigrid: Tell me about it...

Anya: I know we picked out this space for this reason, but... wow. This is beautiful.

Sigrid: It's perfect.

Anya: Is it starting to feel real?

Sigrid: It is... felt like this day would never come, to be honest. When I got pregnant with the twins, it felt like my life was being written for me and I was just having to go along for the ride. I love being a mom, but it doesn't mean it's been easy. But finally, something that I've really wanted for myself is coming true.

Anya: It is. You're finally marrying my blockhead brother.

Anya can't help but giggle to herself a little, watching as Sigrid admires the space as if she's not even there anymore. Sigrid imagines her future with Robin and their family, and her heart swells. Through it all, she knows that life has been leading her to this moment. Things seem brighter, and Sigrid feels at peace, albeit also a little flirty thinking about her love.

After finishing up at the venue, the two head to the next-door karaoke bar for a simple cocktail, Anya's treat. It allows them time to unwind, go over wedding plans, and bond deeper.

Anya: ...Trust me, married life has its ups and downs, but it's also so lovely. And you and Robin have literally the most perfect love story in the world, like, nauseatingly cute, and he's head-over-heels for you, so I'm sure things will be fine.

Sigrid: How did you know Haru was for you?

Anya: It was difficult. I really didn't know for a long time. I was involved with him and another guy for a while, but not really committed strongly to either of them. Then I got pregnant with Colt, and all of a sudden our paths were permanently intertwined. He was ready to go all in, but I felt the pressure coming in from all sides, and honestly, I choked. I had Colt, but I immediately gave him to Haru and said I couldn't be the mother he needed at that time. I didn't even really start getting to know my own son until he was a child. Still, through it all Haru always expressed his desire to be with me and to bring our family together under one roof. I was so focused on my career, and a kid and husband threatened to upend everything I worked towards.

Sigrid: But...?

Anya smiles softly, recalling her past.

Anya: But... over time... I realized I was running from my own destiny. I was afraid of not living up to the expectations I put on myself. That I wouldn't be a good mother like mine was to me. That I had failed her by following in her footsteps in becoming a teen mom. That I had completely screwed up my life simply because I was angry at the universe that it had taken her from me. In reality, being a mom, wife, and successful actress were all things I was made to be together.

Sigrid: I know what it's like to feel lost after the loss of a parent. I lost both of mine way too soon. Not to mention two of my siblings. It's always felt like life was happening to me, and I wondered if things would ever go the way I want them to. Getting pregnant so soon was not the plan, but the moment Robin expressed such excitement about being a dad, and when we saw them on that screen for the first time, I knew this was my path, as rocky as it may be.

Anya: Robin loves you. He has since the first time he met you all those years ago when he was just a dorky teenager. And now he's a dorky man.

Both Sigrid and Anya laugh.

Anya: No, but seriously, my brother is wonderful. He's a simple guy, and all he's wanted in life is to create the family Armani lost too soon. He idolizes his dad, and for good reason. He was amazing. He even became the dad I needed. After all, it was him that walked me down the aisle. My father came and gave some general congrats, but that was it. He was never there for me. Armani filled that void as best as he could, and he tried to fill it when that void grew stronger after my mom died. It wasn't always enough, but that's a lot to put on one sim. Despite this, he did his very best, and Robin has always intended to do the very same. I know my brother is a bit naive at times and maybe a bit too idealistic, but his passion for dreaming is what led him to you, and it's led both of you to this moment.

Sigrid: I love Robin. I do. I love our family. I love that you all have let me into your lives so warmly.

Anya: You're my sister. I'm always going to be here for you, and so will everyone else. We want the best for both of you.

Sigrid sighs.

Sigrid: Guess this is really what my life has always been leading up to.

Anya: Well, cheers to life taking us right where we need to be.

Sigrid smiles.

Sigrid: Cheers to that.

2020 End of the Year Faves

TRH - Elpida: an AU miniseries where Eleanor Rys is about to be crowned as Cordonia’s Queen, and she reflects over what had to happen for her to be standing in her father’s place, years after leaving the country. 

TRH - Kairos: an AU/miniseries where Riley asks about Liam’s previous relationship, and she finds out more than she asked for when he decides to tell her about his “almost”

ROD - Adventures in Babysitting: A one-shot from an anonymous ask post-RODAW where the MPC looks after Logan & Jin’s kid. Ridiculous fluff and soft!Colt

The Dating Game: a semi-Choices related birthday fic for my Wonder Twin Anya, featuring guest appearances from our mutual friends and some of Anya’s favorite fellas

TRR - Extra Rice & Alibis: another birthday fic (this time for Ella) where all kinds of chaos pops up for fictional Ella’s birthday. Easter eggs and inside jokes everywhere - it was a collaborative effort with Anya and we laughed so many times coming up with the story

TRR - Morpheus Dreams: a dystopian Soulmate AU that was a one shot that will turn into a series in 2021, where people don’t dream until they fall asleep in the arms of their soulmate 

BLADES - Drabble Series, Fireside / Starlight / Afternoon Sun / Mal Moon Rising: technically these are 4 separate pieces, but they are true drabbles at 100 words each, conveying a brief moment of reflection within canon Blades events, told from the POV of Mal or MC (female elf)

Non-Choices - The Exchange: my first official non-Choices piece of fanfic, where female!reader finds herself at one of Daniel Henney’s backyard barbecues, and she catches his eye
