You ever go “Ah, I can put together a little handmade zine of some of my personal comics from the past few years,”

then put a bunch of scans together in a template and realize it’s a solid 40 pages of the most obnoxious, cringe, Mortifying Ordeal Of Being Known compilation of thirst and depression you’ve ever seen,

but you still don’t want to cut anything out

#I want to be Known but…at what cost…#cus they’re funny to me because a) they’re not supposed to be polished so I don’t stress over bad drawing etc #and b) this is all Humorous Commentary On My Normal Life but have zero idea how it reads to someone who’s not in my head 24-7 #comic artist problems

Gone full circle with my "I don't need art to be perfect" arc.

Because I'm finishing Creations and if it looks like butt it looks like butt I'm finishing the FNAF 1 arc damn it. I wanna get to Pizza sim and SB.

I've come so far to let the ending portion of this arc kill this AU. >:(

I wanna draw my boy Victor.

I WANNA DRAW MIKE WITHOUT HIS DAMN ARM.

I wanna draw SO many things about this AU but it requires me to get through this damn arc first. And that pisses me off.

I will destroy the FNAF 1 arc. DESTROY IT.

Coloring pages I lined MONTHS ago made me literally halt progress because I hated doing it so damn much. Like nah bro okay pages can be in BW who gives a shit at least it'll be OUT.

With the characters in white I could at least go back and color them later with a multiply layer if I want down the road, but I REALLY don't know if that will ever happen I do like the option though.

You ever draw a comic page and then realise only when colouring it that it’s basically a Homestuck homage and you didn’t plan it, you just have Homestuck burned into your brain?

This is a scene I had to scream my way through for Let’s Read Homestuck, which may explain why it’s so indelibly lodged in my consciousness... Virtually Ensconced In The Fold Of My Personal Mythology?

I mean.... to be fair, Sarin has so much Kanaya energy being the lesbian “team mum” who thinks she’s “the sensible one” but only fulfils that role with partial success and has a massive crush on a snarky goth, I think this was kind of an inevitability really.

It’s inescapable. If you’re a Homestuck, or have ever been a Homestuck, it will bleed into everything you make afterwards. Forever. It will never completely wash out.

In a moment of clarity I realized one of the reasons I’ve been having Career Path Indecision is because I just love all aspects of visual art and storytelling and I want to learn and try everything…guess the only reasonable thing for me to do is to spend decades training under masters of every discipline, like Batman
