WHO: As for the event, Nemo will be coming in to make waves! She's gonna drag in poor Sebek with her as her plus one.

HOW: How did the jester convince Sebek? Let's just say that he didn't want to accompany her at first, but he realized the mayhem she might cause if it was Silver who supervised her instead. Better that it was him yelling at the top of his lungs over a sleepyhead letting her run loose.

FAVE COLOR: Nemo obviously likes green, the most creative color of the rainbow! (not really).

WHAT: As for what she likes doing during summer, she loves to relax and just unwind in the sun! Thus, it's no-brainer what she's going to do at the party: sunbathing, but with a twist!

TWIST?: She's going to bury herself in the sand with only her head sticking out. The jester claims that this odd practice has therapeutic effects.

One would hope this isn't one of her silly tricks, but that's just wishful thinking...

--- Nemo's schemes had already effected many of the beach goers, but to be fair those involved did have warning. The most popular of their attractions being their sand cakes, a gamble on whether you receive and actual cake or some beach sand. Even Tuna took chance on the idea, though their reasoning might have been a bit different.

Having picked a bucket for themself, Tuna began eating a lightbulb switching on as they remembered Nemo mentioning being buried in the sand. "Say, want to start a head garden with me?" It took a second for Nemo to understand, but a wicked smirk grew "I would ever be honored~" Tuna continued to crunch on their 'cake' as the two began to clean up and find a suitable spot. They used sticks to draw a border in the sand and make faux paths and used palm leaves to provide some shade. Once the base was done it was time to dig. Long flat beds were dug out and ready to be lied in, it quite a while, but they managed to get 3 done. Now it was time find their first customer and unfortunately for Sebek, he seemed to be the first to pass by.

Nemo and Tuna were quick to team up on him, Tuna holding him from behind and Nemo began leading the way. Nemo became the perfect spokesman "Please right this way dear customer! Our garden is perfect for relaxation and clearing the mind~ Surely you can only be at your best if your mind is at its best as well!" Sebek squirmed, digging his heels into the sand to no avail and he yelled "I WILL NOT! UNHAND ME!" It was no use, with both Nemo and Tuna combined, they managed to pin him tot he bed and began to bury him thoroughly. At some point Sebek gave up, deciding it wouldn't hurt to try and feel the 'therapeutic' process. However, once he saw Tuna and Nemo drawing silly notes he knew he was pranked, "WHO ARE YOU CALLING A FRUIT?!" ---

LOLOLOL Poor Sebek~ I seem to keep writing him getting the butt end of the stick XD AND AAAA first nemo interaction yey!!! Obviously this has to be something from carry us to freedom. The line about “safety as the unfaithful child of obedience” is the one that people quote back at me all the time, and I’m very proud of it, but I’m going to go with something different. I’m cheating because this is two lines, but it doesn’t make sense alone and I really like it because it distills a lot of the writing I’ve done with SecUnits going rogue: “But those who have had their first taste of hope are soon addicted to its ache. They would leave behind this life-long death for a single breath of freedom, even if a second breath is too much to ask for.”

verso thank you for enabling me. I always want to talk about WIPs. the question is which WIP snippet I haven't already put on discord that will make sense without too much explanation. hmmm....here, how about a sneak peek at chapter 2 of Old Unit, Young Unit? don't mind the [bracket notes], this isn't polished yet.

This is not a security incident. Cameras show that a crowd is gathering in the [public space]. The supervisors are looking for a way for the workers to blow off steam without diminishing productivity. 

When we enter, the crowd of humans gets loud and rowdy. HubSystem is smart enough to recommend that another two SecUnits be redirected here in case the crowd becomes out of control. I backburner most of my SecSys inputs. They will be irrelevant to my current task. The supervisor has given us our instructions.

Beside me, Unit 8891 stiffens almost imperceptibly. Young units are often distressed by situations like this one. I am not. I have been in similar situations more times than I can count. Unit 8891 is lucky that we have been ordered not to use our energy weapons. 

Unit 8891 pings me. Is that a challenge? A threat? I ping back. I’m not interested in posturing. I will ensure the fight is as short and uneventful as the supervisors will allow. 

Knowing humans, it will not be short or uneventful.

💛 What is the most impactful lesson you’ve learned about writing?

The thing I have learned and am learning and will probably never be done learning is how to be less of a perfectionist, lol. I get very embarrassed about sharing work that’s not up to my very high standards for myself. But honestly fanfic and ao3 and discord have really helped me with that—sometimes I want to show off this cool thing I made more than I want it to be perfect!! And knowing that people will enthuse over cool ideas with me even if I don’t write them perfectly is so freeing.

🎨 If someone were to make fanart of your work, what fic or scene would you hope to see?

Oh my goodness LITERALLY ANYTHING, I would be so honored if someone made art of my fic!!! But if I had to pick something…well, carry us to freedom is still my most beloved fic (altho Old Unit, Young Unit might catch up once I have more of it to share!). I’m not really sure how you would visualize it, since it’s very short but also broad in scope and there aren’t really any specific characters, but if someone could find a way to capture the prosetry vibes in art I would be in awe. A lot of my others are just sort of miscellaneous Murderbot interactions and emotions and somewhat similar to each other—but ooh, you know what else would be fun to see visualized? what did I do?, the fic i have gotten the most wordless screaming for.

I wanna know your opinion on the new episodes that dropped (if you’ve watched them yet)

I personally feel Penalteam was way too rushed and Qilin was convoluted to hell and back

Let's start with things I liked:

Qilin:

Sabine is just amazing? Everywhere? It's so cool to see that Marinette inherited her quick thinking from Sabine, and it's nice to see the life of someone else for once.

Ladybug should've let Qilin maim a few cops. As a treat. Especially that meter maid on a power trip. I was nervous that Qilin would be a lesser version of Stormy Weather (just having wind powers) but it's cool that she can split the earth and levitate things as heavy as police vans without even moving from her spot.

Chat Noir really shined in his scenes, I'm proud of him.

The contrast of Qilin shaking off her akuma because Ladybug fulfilled a promise to Penalteam shaking off her akuma because they managed to make her hate soccer and her clone team is really funny to me (and again proves how cool Sabine is)

Penal Team:

The Pre-akuma soccer game was fun, and so was the banter. Cracks me up that Alix wanted a girl vs boy duel and Kim was like "but then we'll LOSE!" XD. And finding out Sabrina and Marc are soccer nerds, like, whoda thunk? (And Nathaniel dragging his feet is such a mood, like, no I DON'T want to kick a ball I want to DRAW plz)

Adrien doesn't know how to play soccer? Uhhhh (Furious Fu Flashbacks) guess he's just good at improv.

Bustier I-always-have-Chloe's-back got red carded first, yessss.

The sheer scale of doing a city wide soccer game with super heroes is just awesome to watch, like, yes, launch the ball half way across Paris to Ladybug.

I'm glad to know the remaining powers, they're pretty cool and I can see them being very useful in multiple situations.

The ability "Fetch" was cute, especially the way Miss Tracker played off her touching the ball with her...dog whistle? Guys this episode was recorded on a potato so I might've missed some details visually.

Again, it's very funny that after Roi Singe uses Uproar on Penalteam, they get so annoyed with each other that Chloe basically hands over the akuma object to make them all go away.

I like that being a hero makes Nathaniel want to join the team to play soccer and I like that Sabrina stands her ground when Chloe wants her to stop playing and join her on the bench.

Aaaand now the things that annoy me:

Qilin -

How you gonna have Sabine show off her being so rooted in her heritage but pretend she didn't teach Marinette even basic phrases in her language?

You put Lila in her art class WHY? She's not even DOING anything, you could've put ANYONE there! It's like the Adrien Rule where they shove her into places she's not needed and doesn't do anything so that we don't forget she exists!

Roger, dude, you KNOW she's not making up a daughter, you could at LEAST back her up on THAT. And thanks a lot Bus Driver Dude who SAW HER USE HER TICKETS, you don't want to say ANYTHING in her defense after she gave you free food? You're all trash.

Marinette shouldn't have taken responsibility for a up-himself meter maid on a power trip harassing her mom and shouldn't have offered to pay, that was the most shoved in, forced, last second "let's make this about Marinette's failings" thing and it wasn't NECESSARY. This episode really said ACAB but still made the victim of injustice apologize to the Cop.

Seeing the Charms now just makes me depressed, congrats Sabine, that'll be useless one episode from now.

PenalTeam -

Bustier really put together this team building exercise for the class that acts like a Hive Mind, like, this class is nearly always in sync because otherwise they'd be individuls

I know Chloe hates Ladybug now or whatever but no one around her is freaked out that she's openly talking about waiting for Shadowmoth to help her get her "revenge" now?? No one else hears this shit???? Hell, THAT could've been Sabrina's wake up call, cuz, wut?!

I hate Mega Akumas. They could've at least made it that Shadowmoth needed to sacrifice a protective Charm to make a Mega Akuma. With Chloe actively on his side, she could've just handed hers over at some point, that even would've solidified her ACTUALLY working with him.

Penalty (the akuma is named Penalty and her team is PenalTeam and it took me too long to put that together) casts this giant yellow net over the city as like "boundaries" and it puts a gross yellow filter over the episode which is why all the screenshots and leaks up to this point have looked like shit.

While it was meta smart to get Alix and Alya out of the way early to justify not giving Alix a miraculous in The Team episode and also not give away that Alya still has the Fox, it is sad that they also used this method to get rid of Viperion and Ryuko (who would've been OP against this akuma) and Pigella (who is pretty useless powerwise...but so was Polymouse, so, wut?). Just kinda thought if they were gonna summon the whole team, they'd USE the whole team.

I'm sad that the remaining heroes didn't get a debut episode to prove themselves as heroic. I said the same for Party Crasher back with Kim's debut, but at least he exchanged SOME DIALOGUE with Fu. Here, it comes across like they weren't chosen because they're good people who deserve it. Hell, half of them were all but told "I chose you cuz you're good at soccer lol."

Also sad we didn't get transformation sequences or kwami intros that played up their individual personalities. I was looking forward to learning a little about Orikko who even in MOB episodes doesn't get many lines.

Also to give all 4 new heroes the same "Oh I can't be a hero because of [x] reason" speech to make Ladybug give them a "pep talk" to speed run justify them getting Miraculouses instead of, idk, BUILDING THEM UP AS HEROES was ughhhhh.

It's just extra frustrating because "Simpleman" exists instead of valid hero episode.

Though I liked the powers, it felt very contrived the way they tried to justify Caprikid's because it barely played into defeating PenalTeam. They made a big deal of it, but they could've just lied or skipped to Roi Singe's uproar. Caprikid probably could've used a different episode to showcase his ability (Genesis) to create anything he wanted.

They had Ladybug decide not to pass the ball ONE TIME and tried to make the episode about calling her out for not being a TEAM PLAYER alkdjfakldfj WUT?! She's been using her fellow team mates ALL SEASON, it's the BACKBONE of her and Chat Noir's beef, and now you wanna pull an "Antibug" and just PRETEND the rest of the season doesn't exist?! She even coordinated perfectly with Alya at the bEGINNING OF THE EPISODE, JUST LIKE WHEN LADYBUG LISTENED PATIENTLY TO THE BULTER IN "ANTIBUG" YET WAS CHASTISED FOR NOT LISTENING TO OTHERS LAKJFLAF!

Minotaurox's ability (Resistance) repels PenalTeam away from him like opposing magnets when they get too close, but the commentator says that his power makes him "impervious to all other powers"? But that's not what happened? If they wanted to show THAT then PenalTeam should've been shown red carding or touching him with her cleats but nothing happens. That's just a niggle since the commentator has no way in universe to know what the fuck he's talking about. It's just weird the writers gave him lines that are straight up lies.

Rooster Bold's ability (Supplemation) is so OP and a literal game changer if used right. He can choose any power he wants (I initially thought that meant he could "borrow" powers from his teammates or the akuma) but no! He just SAYS "I choose the power to score a goal every time I shoot the ball". So if he just said "I choose the power to teleport misused Miraculouses with the snap of my fingers..."

I cannot believe they gave Lila her first lines of the season to TEAM UP WITH CHLOE with 10 SECONDS OF THE EPISODE LEFT LKAJFLADFJ!

About the violin, playing the instruments is hard indeed, and a trauma for some of us, but at the end it's really worth the beautiful sound someone can produce with practice :"D. And I also hope I can fix Sebastián soon (´⌒｀｡). by THE WAY, YOU PLAY THE OCARINA? -insert Ocarina of time memories here, I haven't played the game tho ajxjsjx- THAT'S BEAUTIFUL- Wind instruments are so beautiful sounding (;´༎ຶٹ༎ຶ`). About the chinese manwha, I was reading Silent Lover. It's about a mute boy named Chen Yu that is sent to the King of Zhen Bei's palace in place of the daughter of the family he serves as a slave. He is send there as a concubine in place of the daughter because the King is know for killing the 9 concubines he had before, and the family sends him as concubine instead of Chen Ruo Fei (the daughter) to avoid that, so Chen Yu has to pretend he is a woman and tries to survive.

The manwha is not bad, it has good things as the evolution Chen Yu has across the history. But sadly at the very end the principal couple falls in the cliché of being given "roles" of "the woman" and "the men" of the relationship, being both of them males, and it also romanticized a bit the abusive relationship of Chen Yu and the emperor. But like I said before, not everything was bad. Because the art was just, oOOOOF. BEAUTIFUL.

THE ART WAS SOMETHING I LOVED A LOT, AND THE CHARACTER DESIGNS AS WELL. Now I'm going to read a Thousand autumns. So i'm going to prepare my tears.

Dream says this with bitterness cause their past together was turbulent (running away from Nightmare, quarrels, Dream's corruption, etc.), and they just didn't have enough time and opportunities to spend it enjoying each other calmly.

Real life has come, then family, and their time is running out. So Cross invites Dream to do things they couldn't do back then (like eating nice cream in Undertale? Why not? ;D) But they only have time until the morning — they have too little options to spend this night outside, in the Multiverse, unique and unforgettable.

Dream summons a staff and opens a portal [white background]: he asks the birthday boy to make a wish — to choose where he wants to be and what he wants to do. (His magic is fueled by positive emotions, guess it's gonna be something exciting~ (spoiler: there'll be another episode, in Underlust) ☆

Favourite Zoophobia Ships???

Hey... guess who decided to do some Zoophobia related posts bc I haven’t done any... in months? Ah well, might as well. This is going to be mostly just a fun post, just talking about what ZP ships I enjoy most, in no particular order.

However !

After this, I’m considering redoing some of the top five lists I made 2 years ago. So, feel free to let me know which I should do!

List is under cut bc I type a bunch

1. Kayla x Zill

I tend to just follow along with ships that are canon. Unless it’s particularly unhealthy or poorly written, my brain just goes “oh, they dating? Ok cool.”

And you know what? These two are adorable. I will say that I enjoyed these two together in Bad Luck Jack better than in the comic. In the comic, we get thrown into their relationship drama way too fast. We aren’t even given a proper introduction to Kayla before chapter 2! I get that maybe the intent was to show how much Kayla and Zill care about each other, and showing them having relationship troubles could show them in a vulnerable, emotional state. We could get some good character stuff from that! But, it really doesn’t give your power couple a good look when they’re already having issues by chapter 2.

Bad Luck Jack did a much better job at not only portraying their relationship, but their dynamic was much more interesting. We actually got to see Kay’s more badass side, and we got more than just them doing boring kissy kissy, omg I love you sooo much, which was a lot of what we got in the comic. I’m actually excited to see more of these two in the future.

2. Addi x Gustav

I have to admit, I’m not as big of a fan of this ship as other people are. The main reason is Gustav. I’m sure the story will provide more depth for him in the future, and I’m sure we’ll get a bunch of adora-gay moments with him and Addi. But as it stands, I’m not quite ready to hop on board.

I also found the way they hooked up in the comic to be a little boring? To sum up their first interaction, it’s more or less “hey bby boi, u be looking real fine across the room, tell me bout that sexy art piece” “oh damn, u be looking like a tall glass of grape juice, cute mode activated- holy fuck Kenzie why????”

Basically, they both find each other good looking, and decide to go to lunch after they establish that Addi is the soft boi that need protecc and that Gustav attaccc. It’s a cute ship, yeah. Not my favourite, tho, and I’m going to need more on purple’s end before I cannonball in

3. Jack x Zill and Jack x Jill

These two I’m grouping together bc I feel the same way about both. Like with the previous, I like these ships, would definitely read fan fiction, but I’m not super on board with... well, with a lot of ships with Jack?

It’s not that I think he shouldn’t be in the relationship, but I find that a lot of ships have Jack being really dependent on whoever he’s with, and since his situation will inevitably cause a good amount of drama, a lot of the time the other person in the relationship kinda disappears.

This is entirely something that’s my preference in stuff like this, but I prefer ships where it doesn’t just become all about one character, and that everyone in the relationship is given a chance to be supportive and emotionally invest. And again, I feel like ships with Jack don’t usually give him the chance to emotionally invest to the same extent as the other people in the relationship.

That being said, I don’t dislike these ships, and they’re still cute as fuck.

4. Autumn x Rusty

Firstly, I love how this is a ship where almost everyone in the fandom can look at each other, nod, and say “oh we know it’s gonna happen”

I mean, let’s not kid ourselves, we all love an enemies to lovers story, and I’m sure quite a few of us can project ourselves onto someone like Rusty who “totally isn’t gay/bi/pan/you get what I mean!” I’m normally a little iffy about the idea of “oh he’s bullying you bc he likes you!”, but fortunately it seems like Rusty and Autumn don’t entirely fit that trope. There’s not much to say here, tbh. I will say that my favourite thing with this ship is when they’re drawn/written in a situation where one or more other characters are like “omg, just fuck already!”

5. Ink x Mistletoe

Congrats to anyone who knows these characters

This is absolutely a crack ship for me. I just like the idea of someone who lives a sad life like Ink having someone as silly and wonky as Mistletoe around. That’s basically it XD sue me!

6. Damian x Addi and Damian x Ink

Again, I feel the same about these two ships. They’re cute, and I would absolutely read the fan fiction. My main draw back, however, is that these two ships are ones I have to be in the mood for. These two ships, especially Damian x Ink , can quickly become depressing. And while sometimes I’m all for that, most of the time I rather read something a bit lighter

I guess these two have accidentally became my favourite??? I certainly enjoy stuff with this ship the most, and even though we admittedly haven’t seen much of Eli yet, I’m already on board.

Firstly, I just like the premise of the fucking Antichrist hooking up with a pink hipster snake who’s a waiter at a 50s diner. The idea alone is just amusing to me, and it’s weird enough that I already like it.

I also like the overall chaotic, mutual dumbass energy these two give off together. They’re both comic loving, unserious goofballs and I can absolutely see them sharing a total of one brain cell. Even the image of the two of them side by side is just amusing to me, bc we have tall, pink and Christmasy coloured Eli next to the smoller, edgier Dame. Even looking at sketches of them interacting, they both look just plain silly

Finally, however, what I think really got me on board was the irony of the situation. Damian, as we know, crushes super hard on Kayla and some other characters, and will go to unnecessary lengths to impress them. Meanwhile, as he’s desperately trying to get others to like him, there’s Eli. Someone who’s already attracted to him, and is right there. And who already seems to have a lot in common with him, and given how he’s apparently shy around people he likes, it must be obvious to someone what’s going on.

It’s like “omg, why are all the hot people taken???” “I AM RIGHT HERE!” “ Did u say something?”

So... yeah.

I kinda learned to draw from the internet, so I'm self taught. I always had an interest, but I did small things. When I was younger, I used to copy-draw things I liked, like Pokémon, Frozen, stuff like that. I started to draw more last year by making comics on paper. My style was mostly chibi at the time. What really helped was taking pictures of other art and putting them in a folder, referencing them to learn how to draw certain things (hands, feet, clothes, hair, etc.) I recently deleted the entire folder (of 1000 pics) so I could put what was REALLY important. I also watch JaidenAnimations and other YouTube animators, and copied the hairstyles and some poses I saw into my sketchbook so I could learn how things work. References are KEY. ALWAYS USE REFERENCES. I got an Apple Pencil (in February I think?) when I wanted to draw digitally (after trying it out with a cheap stylus), and got Clip Studio Paint (they have a free 3 month trial). Digital drawing really helped me because markers and pencil were annoying for me personally (other people like it tho).

If you'll look at my first Agreste comic compared to now, you'll see that it got a LOT better. Because I'm on 17 weeks now. That's almost 4 months wait I've been doing this for how long. For Coco Comics, my very first comic (that's unpublished) was a lot messier, and drawn in September. I also didn't want to draw hands before but then I decided to, and I like it.

If you're interested in drawing, I would say draw as much as you can. Look at other artists. Look at the world around you, nature is art. Use references. Most of all, it takes TIME. Over time, your art just gets better and better. And when it does get better, look at your old art happily, and look how far you've come. Learning a new skill is super fun and I highly recommend it. Perhaps to give some motivation I MIGHT post my old stuff. Good luck!

This week, we get to know Cambria and all her favorite Nancy Drew memories!

Q: What is your earliest memory of the Nancy Drew games? We got MHM when I was a wee lass of 3 years, so I’m not sure if I can trust my memory but I remember playing the game on our super dark computer screen and being able to barely see anything in the attic. We were freaked out by the baby doll head, and I remember I had no concept of how the spooky stuff worked and partnered with the dark screen, I thought the large dresser in Nancy’s room was a monster. The picture on her wall freaked me out for some reason too, not sure why. (I talk more about MHM memories on that week of the Clue Crew Podcast, y’all should check it out!)

Q: What is your favorite game, and why? It’s a tie between Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon and Secret of Shadow Ranch. Both hold a lot of nostalgia for me, their soundtracks are a m a z i n g, they have wonderful settings and I really enjoy the storylines and casts. They both have that classic ND feel for me and really like the plot progression and gameplay. That’s all I’m gonna say though, or we’d be here for paragraphs!

Q: What is your least favorite game, and why? I’ve been thinking about this more recently. It has always been RAN, but actually upon replaying MED I’m not so sure haha. My rankings of the games flip flop around a lot, but I’m going to say RAN simply because I straight up don’t enjoy the game play. Them culprits knew what they were doing.

Q: Who is your favorite character, and why? AhHHH! I am bad at picking favorites, as you can tell. Main cast, Nancy! I love all of them but I seriously love the Hardy Boys so so much. As far as suspects go though, I have a lot of favorites, but some who really stick out for me are Nick Falcone, Henry Bolet, Alexei, basically every GTH character, Alec, Grigor, Ryan, Xenia is cool...gah. Too many. I don’t like in game Sonny but my favorite character has to be comic book Sonny if that makes sense. XD for further explanation I wanna write analysis about my favorite characters so stay tuned (FOR DANGER) for those!  

Q: What is something you’d like to see in an upcoming game? Hm. Haven’t really thought much about this one? Honestly I’d love to see the return of Revenant and kinda finishing that whole story up would be cool. While I didn’t enjoy what they did to Sonny in MED, I think they could have redeemed themselves with the New Mexico game that was going to happen, so I would have liked to see that. Also, what the heck, I wanna see Maya return and I want Henry to come back and team up with Nancy because they would be a dynamic duo, you cannot convince me otherwise!

Q: What is your favorite memory from the games and/or the books? There’s nothing like playing a game for the first time. Some of my favorite memories come from playing them with my family when I was younger, but those kind of all run together. I do remember though when SPY came out, I was SO excited. I wanted to play it as soon as I got it, so I didn’t have time to play it with my sister and thus it was the first game I played completely by myself. I binge-played that game so fast, and I remember after I finished I couldn’t stop thinking about it. That game will always hold a special place in my heart.

Q: What is your favorite thing about the Nancy Drew fandom? Y’all are so extremely funny and kind, I love how close knit we are and how much we care about each other. I’ve made some really close friends on here in the short time since I first joined in February, so I just want to thank you guys for really bringing me into the fold, I appreciate each and every one of you! 

Q: Anything you contribute to the fandom (such as fanfiction, artwork, graphics, memes, reviews, meta, etc.) that we can give you a shoutout for? Welp I make art sometimes, I analyze bits of the games and sometimes make memes! I also wrote one fanfic and there are some more on the way.....so keep an eye out for those!

Q: Any other hobbies and/or interests? UmmmMmm I read, draw, write, I like to analyze media, and study directing and film stuff, I have a lot of fandoms or at least pieces of media I get excited about, I like space, dinosaurs, superheroes.... I can’t play or sing but I LOVE music and musicals, I have a black belt in Karate, and I travel as much as I can! 

Q: Do you have any pets? RIP, sadly I do not... I do have a rock named Dirk though and a cactus named Ambrosia.

Liar - The Arcadian Wild :: This is a relatively “new” song in comparison, which was sent to me by a good rp/writer friend on Discord (who afaik doesn’t have other socials!) that I often discuss plot points etc. with among other things, saying “hey this reminded me of Aria thought you’d like it!”. I listened to it and yep, sure enough, it’s an Aria song. A big part of Aria’s character is that at the start, she really is quite a bad person. She’s nasty, and cantankerous and she really doesn’t care about anybody except for herself (and maybe her dad. A tiny bit.), as things progress, however, while she is still inherently quite rude and selfish, she DOES learn to value other people...provided they are people she cares about, like Vano, and her friends, and so on,  as well as (sometimes, she’s working on it still) taking the blame for her own actions and learning it’s not “weak” or bad to a) admit you care about people, b) make mistakes and c) admit those mistakes and take responsibility for them. "I sense there’s trouble ahead, it’s clear by the signs and warnings. That should tell where all blame is due, So why are they pointing at MY head? [...] I sense deception to come. Honestly, truth and I are never one. 'Cause I am the lying man and I have made you my next victim. You can understand why she was so fucking angry when she found out that was a lie...but at the same time, she just wanted her love to come home :( “Did she run away? Did she run away? Mothers - Daughter :: (Myla, her mother) “Love all you need to love before it goes... When your face becomes a stranger’s that I don’t know. You will never remember who I was to you [...] I’m called “mother”, but they’re called “home”.”

Myla raised Aria for the first few years of her life, and really wanted to keep her away from both the Jedi and the Sith but as it became more and more clear that Aria’s Force affinity was as strong as her father’s, the situation rapidly spiralled out of Myla’s control. She tried to hide Aria, but in the end her father Noctis did find them and take Aria to train with the Sith. She didn’t see her daughter again until she was a teenager, suddenly turning up with the task to kill her for treason against the Empire (Myla is not the canon Imp Agent, but follows the general trajectory of the LS!Agent storyline i.e. an agent disillusioned with the Empire who eventually defects to the Republic with the help of the SIS.). Though she’s a Senator on Onderon now, Myla carried a blaster for personal protection and ofc knows how to use it, except...she couldn’t shoot her own daughter and that was all she wrote. I imagine her thought process during her final moments went something like in this song, especially the bit that I highlighted up there.

Tongues & Teeth - The Crane Wives :: Aria & Vano (Romantic). Aria’s relationship with Vano is incredibly messy and complicated. On one hand, she knows Vano deserves better, but at the same time she doesn’t want her to go anywhere else and it seems like no matter what she does to try and “warn her off” about what a “bad person” she is, Vano keeps coming back anyway. Ergo, this song. "Oh, I will ruin you. I will ruin you. It’s a habit...I can’t help it. I know that you mean so well, but I am not a vessel for your good intent. I will only break your pretty things, I will only wring you dry of everything! But if you’re fine with that, if you’re fine with that [...] You can be mine.”

Colours - Halsey :: Aria & Merak & Ziri (Friendship/Platonic Love) “You’re only happy when your sorry head is filled with dope, I hope you make it to the day you’re 28 years old...”

Aria “coped” (i.e. not very well but she did it) with the guilt of killing her mother and the stress brought on by the night terrors by self-medicating with glitterstims (spice) and alcohol, and this is how Merak in particular remembers her. Though she got clean from spice after they picked up Ziri, she still continued to drink (and still does) quite heavily, though at least it’s easier to manage that habit. Both of them supported her through this the best they could and it’s probably a big reason (other than Merak being Vano’s little brother) that they’re still Aria’s friends to this day, even if she doesn’t actively travel with them anymore.

(honourable mention to Agnes - Glass Animals which also falls under this “category” but I didn’t want this to get too crowded lmao, it is once again a super long post woops) You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid - The Offspring :: Aria & Roan/Darth Noctis (Familial/Familial Love) Listen, he may have taught her very bad emotional habits and turned her into a tiny attack dog, but her father did love & protect her the best way he possibly could. He was very proud of her and always envisioned her taking his place as a Darth one day (and it takes her a longass while, but eventually she does! Congrats dad!). That’s all I’ve got to say about this one 🤷‍♀️ Monster - Willyecho :: Aria & Satele Shan/The Jedi Order (Enemies to Begrudging Respect (eventually) “I can see the truth. No, you don’t have to lie to me. Don’t fill your head with things and think you’re free~ [...] You don’t believe in monsters, do you~?” ”Of course not!” ”Well, I do...” See me change...into something...darker....” My personal favourite from this “round”. It’s not until Ilum that Satele and the Jedi finally realise they have not “converted” Aria as they thought they did, but rather...they’ve had a Sith hiding under their noses, a Sith related to a Dark Councillor well-known for murdering Jedi no less, and that perhaps...the “deaths” she had convinced them were accidental, were in fact, not an accident at all. 😈 Aria, of course, gets her ass thrown in jail for a few years for this lmao When the schtick with the Revanites happens and Theron needs someone who can “negotiate in a civil manner with Sith”, he and his mother agree Aria is the best bet - if it works, the Sith will respond more positively to her than any other Jedi, if they kill her instead then they’re “rid of” her and don’t lose one of their own - when Lana’s point-of-contact happens to be Vano and the pair reunite after another several years apart, Aria refuses to return to the Republic after Yavin IV. By then, she’s developed enough of a begrudging respect for Satele (and vice versa) that the Grand Master lets her go (not that she was willing to try and fight Vano, Ni’kasi, Marr & Lana to try and take Aria prisoner again anyways). They haven’t seen each other since and though Aria is neutral to the Jedi who have joined the Alliance, she doesn’t care for those who are still loyal to the Republic and would rather have nothing to do with them if she can help it.

A/N: Welcome to chapter nine! Now, you'll finally get some answers...I can't hold it back much longer. XD Prepare for some serious emotions and tears. Gawd, I love my precious babies so damn much! *sobbing*

"Dean?" Cas rasps, his voice nothing but a tiny whisper. Dean Winchester smiles, cocking his head. Oh, how Cas loves his smirk...and those green, green eyes... "The one and only," he mutters, blinking with his long lashes. Then he looks down, suddenly nervous. He swallows hard, and his gaze is meeting Cas' again. There are tears in his eyes. "Damn it, Cas, I - ", he begins, but gets interrupted by the priest, who pushes him against the wall, just to kiss him in desperation. Dean does the same, his hands are running over Castiel's chest, touching him like he's the most precious thing in the world. Damn, it feels so good... Cas moans, as Dean pulls away, slowly. After a heavy breath, the young man says: "God, I missed you so fucking much!" "Same here," Cas whispers, stroking the other's cheek, gently. I could stare at these freckles forever. "Dean...what the hell happened? I...I thought I was going insane and - ", Cas stutters, but hesitates as Dean kisses him again, softly. "Not now, honey," he whispers into the priest's ear, making him shiver, "I promise that I'll tell you everything tomorrow. But...all I want right now is feel you, Cas. Everywhere. Please." His voice is so dark and soft, but filled with love and Castiel can feel his knees going weak almost immediately. "Promise?" he mutters, but he already knows that he lost the 'discussion'. Dean smiles, widely. He raises an eyebrow, licking his lips. "I promise," he answers with a wink. "Perfect," Cas mutters, and pulls him closer.

After many nights with Meg, that were everything but quite enjoyable, the time with Dean was...incredible. As always. It's like they just know what the other wants, what he desires. They can communicate without words, and that's what makes their bond so special. The priest smiles to himself, as he turns around in bed, just to find Dean sleeping next to him. God...how can anybody look so beautiful while sleeping?! I bet I look like a troll while I'm asleep. He takes himself a couple of minutes to just simply appreciate the other's presence. His gaze is flowing over Dean's soft lineaments, enjoying every single detail. He's here. With me. And we're safe. The priest sighs, as the young man opens his eyes, slowly. "Hey," he mutters with a mild smile, "Why are you staring at me like a creep?" "'Cause I love you. Am I not allowed to appreciate a work of art when I see it?" Castiel answers, smirking. His heart is filled with so much warmth, that it feels like it's going to explode. He leans forth, until his lips are stroking over Dean's cheek, gently. "Okay. Now tell me," he whispers, blinking, "What happened to you?" Dean's eyes are going dark for a second, but it vanishes after a moment or two. "Are you sure that you want to know it?" the other says, seriously. He looks at Cas, questioning. The priest nods. "I am. Please, Dean. Talk to me," he begs, quietly. His heart is already beating faster, and he forces himself to calm down. There will be a harmless explanation for things...please let there be a harmless explanation... "I did bad things, Cas", Dean says after a few heartbeats of silence, "I killed people. And it was fun." Castiel blood runs cold. "Dean..." "No. Please. You need to hear it all to understand it. Just hang on, okay?" The priest nods, weakly. He can feel the tears coming up his throat, and Dean grabs his hand, softly. The other's touch is warm and familiar, and it makes Castiel calm down a little. He breathes in, deeply, as Dean continues: "It all began about three years ago. I...you know what I told you about my father? The way he treated me and my brother?" Cas nods. "After Sammy was gone, I...I just couldn't take it anymore. I knew that he wouldn't let me go. I knew that he would find me anywhere. And if he wouldn't be able to find me, he would go after Sam. I still don't know how he could become such an awful person. Anyway, Sammy was gone and I was in absolute despair. My father was worse than he had ever been, forcing me into...let's just say a life I didn't want to live. I didn't saw a light at the end of the tunnel, so I made a very awful decision. Actually, I did some research for fun as I stumbled upon the legends of crossroad demons and the deals that they are making if you ask them to do so. So...it said that they would make every wish come true. And all I wanted was to be free. So I got to a crossroad far, far away from town, and did the ritual to summon one. A - and it worked. I sold my soul for one purpose: that my dad would just disappear and never bother me or my brother again." He swallows, heavily, and closes his eyes. It seems like the memories are hurting him, awfully. Castiel's mouth is open, slightly, his fingers are curled around Dean's like he is the other's only anchor in this moment of truth. "Oh, Dean...", he whispers. "It worked. My father died, in the exact moment I sealed the deal with the demon. Heartattack. It was so damn simple. At first, I was filled with relief, but then I began to realise what I just did. I killed my father. I was a fucking monster. And as if this wasn't enough, this son of a bitch from a demon was kind enough to tell me, that now that they have my soul, they will feed from it until I will become one of them. They gave me about three years until I will  go completely crazy. That was the price I had to pay. Not a very good deal, if you ask me. I totally fucked up. The next months I basically spent with lots of sex, alcohol and drugs, doing everything to drown my thoughts, so that I didn't need to think about how terrible my future was going to be. After a while I decided that this was stupid as hell, and ran out of town. I tried to find a solution for my problem. I asked everyone that I came across, psychics and stuff, but nobody could help me. They felt all very sorry for me, but none of them could do something to save me from the darkness that was growing bigger and bigger inside my heart and mind. I could feel it crawling under my skin, a thirsty, terrible monster. It spoke to me, always tried to make me do bad things. And sometimes, I gave in. And it felt so damn good. The feeling of seeing a person's life fade into their eyes when they die...it turns me on. And that's just sick. I hate what I am, Cas. I hate it so fucking much." Castiel blinks, biting his lip. He tells himself to stay calm. We can get through this. We will find a solution. Together. "But you haven't hurt me, Dean. You aren't a bad person. We can fix this," he says. "Maybe. Maybe not. It almost seems that they're waiting for me to lose my humanity completely," Dean tells the priest, staring into the void. The other hesitates: "So...whenever you seemed to see something that wasn't there, this were hellhounds? Like the thing that almost got me to drive into a tree?" His eyes are going wide. Dean nods. "But as you can see, now I'm back," he continues with a weak smile, "I just couldn't stay away from you. Actually, I felt my insanity getting stronger and stronger as I drove away...I think you're something like my anchor. Without you, I need to kill." After these words, they're both silent for a couple of seconds. "Holy shit," Castiel burst out, eventually. "I know," Deam sighs, biting his bottom lip, "You just slept with a murderer. Congrats." "I cleaned up your house, Dean," the priest admits, suddenly, and the other stops. "What?" "I cleaned everything up. I - I buried the body. I made sure that nobody would find something suspicious in there," Castiel whispers, and suddenly, there are tears streaming down his cheeks, "Dean, I...it was awful!" Dean pulls the priest closer, softly. He kisses the other's forehead. A single tear is running down his cheek. "I...I'm so sorry, Cas. I - " he says, his voice rough, and filled with pain and regret. "No, no. It's okay," Cas determines, fastly, "It...it wasn't your fault. We...we'll find a solution. I promise." Dean looks at him with nothing but desperation in his eyes. "Cas, you don't understand! There is no escaping! It's just a matter of time, and then I'll - " And for a moment, his eyes are flashing black. It's absolutely terrifying, and the priest winces. The darkness vanishes again like nothing happened and Cas can feel a claw clutching around his heart. He swallows, looking at Dean with determination in his eyes. "We will get through it, okay? I don't believe that you tried everything that's possible to get you out of this stupid deal,"he says. "But - " "No. We'll get you out of this misery. Or we'll find a way for you to live with it." "To live with it?! Cas, I am a killer!" "And?" "And?!" "I love you. I can't help but I love you. That means I am part of this misery as well, and you can't change my mind. I've already gone through hell for you, Dean, and I'm ready to do it again." Castiel raises his chin, and looks into Dean's eyes. He watches the other's gaze soften, slowly. The young man cries, as he curls his arms around Cas, holding on to his love in desperation. "Thank you," he whispers into the priest ear, burying his face on the other's chest. I've already gone through hell for you, and I'm ready to do it again.

But to answer your question, loving and wanting to draw is pretty much all you need really. At least that’s how it have always been for me, I have always loved to draw, to create since I was a kid, and getting into Sonic as a kid with irl friends really set that off.

Since then I have had like a bigger reason to draw except just loving to draw overall, which is to like tell a story with the characters I have come up with, show people how I picture them and just have fun while doing so!

Because something that have and always will be very important to me, is that I am drawing and making for myself, I am not doing it for the approval of others, I am not creating in the hopes others will like it, it’s just a great bonus when people do! Like yeah it is great when people like the things I make, but it is not my reason why I create, I create because I have so much fun doing so, whether it’s drawing, writing, or just sitting for hours researching random shit for stories I might never even get around to properly tell.

But to put it simply, you could say my motivation is simply myself, I got so many stories and ideas and things I want to draw and write, and while getting like attention and stuff for it can be something I at times desperately crave, so is it not my main motivation, no it’s mostly just myself and just wanting to create as that’s what I so enjoy doing xD

I don’t have like a proper muse, if you don’t like count myself as it’s me myself I most often get ideas from and motivation, and when it comes to goals the only goal I like have is to keep improving and to hopefully be able to one day tell one of my stories properly in a way I like! 

But yeah hope this little ramble of text is enough of an answer for ya xD this ask srsly made my day with how sweet it is, thank you again and good luck! I belive in you! UwU ❤
