I kind of miss how pre-2000s JRPGs would just do the cutscenes with whatever characters happened to be in your party at the time – I mean the active lineup, no back-benchers teleporting in for the cutscenes bullshit – and they'd adjust the dialogue's diction and vocabulary to match whichever character landed in whichever speaking position, but not its substance. I'm not saying the result was high literature, but it never got old being able to arrange your party to produce a sensitive heart-to-heart between two characters who had literally never interacted prior to that point, or for a nuanced discussion of the nature of evil to be carried out by a cave-man and a dog.

Oh that's why the broadcast station announcement was so late. Kondo-san says this will be officially announced during stream.

It's probably not a new unit, that'd be an anniversary thing. Given the title of "New Project" it will most likely be a separate thing under the Project Sekai name (bc the game is actually Colorful Stage. The name Project Sekai covers everything in the project).

I mean it could be a new unit, like how D4DJ recently started EGOEGG as a separate unit that only does live performances and isn't connected to the game, like how the bandori units MyGO!! and Ave Mujica started out (though they were later added to the game/anime). Given "Hatsune Miku Live" in the bg it could be something like that.

Alternatively maybe some spinoff game, or some form of media series? Apparently the text over glitch Miku reads "My Voice Cannot Be Heard", which is interesting. Yeah most likely this doesn't relate to Colorful Stage and will be its own thing.

Also I think Miku is CGI I need to make it very clear the chances of this being related to the game are not exactly huge.

hiii ive never interacted w you other than rbing sometimes but i just wanted to let you know that theres something ab the wir takeover of your blog ive genuinely loved. like i watched you get into it and then it just slowly took over your blog as you made it your own n like what youre posting now is almost in the territory of unrecognizable from the source material and i just think thats fun :) youre taking the world and characters from the movie and twisting it and adding onto it n idk, its special to me. its your wreck it ralph now. its filling the good sequel shaped space in my heart but way more creative n out there than disney would ever create

I'm glad you're having fun! A lot of people have unfollowed me LOL. I am easily delighted by characters made for a specific purpose and their relationships to that. I like playing toys with the setting and characters because there is a lot of questions that are never explored due to the scope of the movie.

What if the arcade had a GameCube in it for hosting Super Smash Bros. tournaments?

In 2025 I’m trying to be more social, Ive always felt like the weird friend cause of the things that I enjoy like gaming (mainly rpg like bg3 or mass effect and shooters like Warframe and Fortnite), reading and, Love and deep space (Sylus girlie here❤️) etc.

If Sonic ever attempted another turn based RPG, what would you like to see from it?

I don't really have a big list of demands. I would just like a Sonic RPG that doesn't feel like it actively hates the player. I also think an RPG would be the perfect place to use the IDW cast. Work the Restoration into the story! Let Tangle and Whisper be party members! Have a boss fight against Surge and Kit! This stuff writes itself

I don't expect this to happen anytime soon - the scars from Sonic Chronicles run deep, and it was way cheaper and quicker to make an RPG spinoff back on the DS. But I can dream...
