When was the last time you found yourself laughing with your whole body? Or dancing just because? Or feeling like a million bucks? ⠀ ⠀ I remember years of my life when I’d be annoyed by questions like those because I couldn’t remember the last time I had felt happy. ⠀ ⠀ I get a lot of clients asking me my opinions on medications for anxiety and depression. I remind them to talk to their medical doctor because they are here to help! There is absolutely nothing wrong with taking medications to assist with anxiety and depression. Please seek the help you need! ⠀ I just want you to make sure that is not the only thing you are doing to help yourself. Find a professional to talk to, and once you are able, start to build up your self care habits. Medications and therapy can be life changing. Just be sure to combine that with proper diet, plenty of water, adequate sleep, healthy exercise, and daily meditation! ⠀ ⠀ All of those can be difficult to balance, especially when we’re not our best, but seeking the help we need and slowly improving those basic needs can change everything. ⠀ ⠀ You deserve to be happy. Some of us need a little more help getting there. There’s nothing wrong with that. Take your meds, take care of your body and mind. You absolutely deserve to feel better. You deserve to thrive.
