I actually did a little bit of writing yesterday so I'll share something from a oneshot based on the world of my last microfic where Drarry are Quidditch managers/owners.

‘You seem to be under the impression that you’ll ever win against my team, Potter. The Buzzards have thrived under my management. You’ve had the Ravens for three months and lost two players already.’ ‘Who you poached!’ Harry’s anger spills out and he steps closer, right in Malfoy’s face. Oh, how he wishes to punch his smug smile. There’s no one around; it’s quiet, the clamour of the press outside the stadium a distant echo. ‘Your players simply desired to be in a winning team,’ Malfoy says nonchalantly. He doesn’t seem concerned by Harry’s proximity, although a faint blush rises in his cheeks. He swallows, and Harry’s gaze is drawn to the movement of his throat and travels lower, resting on Malfoy’s collarbone peeking from his shirt. ‘I bet they won’t say that when we wipe the floor with you next time.’ Harry’s voice has gone hoarse. Malfoy’s scent, something musky and expensive, overwhelms his senses. ‘You bet, do you? Well, how about this?’ Malfoy leans close to Harry. His breath tickles Harry’s ear, his hair brushes his face. ‘If you win, I’ll let you fuck me.’

I was tagged by the darling @wolfpants (thanks, love!!) to share a snippet of one of my WIPs. I haven't made any progress on that drarry smutty Quidditch managers fic (*hides face*), but here's an excerpt from a Witcher fic, which is very low in my priorities, but which I really want to write one day. Enjoy!

As the first few notes of the lute echoed in the tavern air, everyone’s attention focused on Jaskier; except for one lone gentleman at the bar, who gazed at his empty goblet. Geralt wondered if he might be Piotr, but he exuded such indifference for the bard that it was unlikely. No one had spent any time with Jaskier and felt indifference towards him. Affection, possibly. Admiration, occasionally. Irritation, most definitely.

Still, Geralt examined the stranger, cataloguing his features as if he was a monster to defeat: dark curls and a prominent nose; a full, sensual mouth with a cruel slant on it; bright amber eyes that took in the surroundings with a calculating air. He carried the sword of a knight, but his travel clothes were threadbare, albeit elegant. No coat of arms he could discern. A poor, rogue knight possibly. He looked young, in his twenties.

He also looked like a filthy fuck. He looked like you could ask him to do anything to you and he would; with a smile on his lips and malice in his eyes.

Oh definitely gazing out the window-- I love the outdoors, and sometimes when I need a break from my screen or from life in general I pull a chair beside my window and look at birds.
