I was a Bride once

I’ve always wanted to draw Emily from Corpse Bride, but when I finally sat down to bring her to life, I realized something was missing. While her original design is iconic, her wedding dress didn’t feel quite right for the Victorian era the story is set in. So, I took a creative liberty to reimagine her gown, aiming for something more historically accurate while keeping her beautiful, ethereal silhouette intact. It was a fun challenge to keep her essence while diving into a different design direction.

The plague had attacked everyone in the village except a few, Death felt cheated.

However he understood, it wasn't their time right now

Her lover lived in solitary, away from everyone after she left him.

When loneliness got the best of him, the time he had felt endlessly.. and meaningless,

He offered himself to Death, Death gradly took him with care.

When his lover got to know about this, who left him years ago. Cried and beg for him back.

However..

Death couldn't help her in the slightest..

With a heavy heart, she accepted,

Otherwise she wished to talk to him once.. atleast

Death agreed.

" Could u just please return?" She pleaded.

He replied with silence, that made her desperate by the sec.

" Just.. please, for me"

" Tell me my dear , could a heart still beat with the same love once it's broken?"
