為了不要變成一株情緒複雜的室內植物 🪴🤭，下午完成了一件皮雕工藝作品，趁著幫作品拍照順便去工作室旁的圖書館廣場散步，曬一下夕陽 🤣，回程路上遇見大白熊狗子🐶，好可愛喔！然後晚餐犒賞自己享用一頓日式豬排飯。😋 yummy! 感謝天主 🙏

Food, Tuesday, 24 Sep

Some ready-to-eat pork cutlet on top of rice, from the supermarket, as my first meal of the day, before our orientation. They sell it as freshly made in the supermarket and at least it did still taste nice the next day (24th).

A short snack in between were these fried oysters - I honestly didn't realise they are oysters until I ate it today... 😅 Yesterday when I bought it, I just craved for some small, nice fried food. Wasn't disappointed today.

After coming home from the orientation and resting for a bit I cooked myself spaghetti with basil pesto (from supermarket), fresh carrot and mini mozzarella. Easy to make but yummy 😋

In the night I was craving some ice cream - cheers to konbini being open 24/7 - where I went to a Ministop, since they're famous for their soft serve ice cream. Somehow I managed to order one for myself in Japanese...

The ice cream was surprisingly delicious, just simple vanilla ice cream but really tasty, even the waffle tasted delicious. Better taste than from some ice cream booths in Germany 👀

Also bought some sweet treats today that I'll enjoy the next few days 😄👀 And I feel like a Japanese chocolate rating post might be due soon too 👀

You know what, just because I’m mean(/lh), I’m gonna post some good food pics.

Seafood omurice and a mango/vanilla soft serve from Disneyland.

A sample of foods from a breakfast buffet at one of the hotels I stayed at.

A three flavor waffle, vanilla soft serve, and soda topped with various fruit jellies from a Pokemon cafe.

Takoyaki! Topped with cheese~! (Not from Osaka though. I hear that stuff is the bomb! This is from Tokyo though).

Ramen in Kyoto! Also had a frozen dessert that was like a cider flavored sorbet. Really cool!

Strawberry milk shaved ice (also what the ice looked like before it was a yummy treat)! And genuine wagyu (and yes, slightly pricey but 🤤😋 worth it!).

Other amazing food from Japan includes the convenience store food. Sandwiches and onigiri and curry and breads! I swear, the cutlet sandwiches are too good! Lawson and 7-11, I love you! 💖

Today, I decided to get creative with the strong flour I had stocked up from the supermarket. As I contemplated in the bathroom , it suddenly struck me that I haven't had a good old burger in a while, mainly because the line at the nearest fast-food joint has been unbearable. With thoughts of McDonald's filling my head 🍟🍔, I decided to craft my burger—yet, making buns from scratch takes too long. That's when the idea for the Rice Burger Crunch Wrap came to mind!

Here's how you can make this next-gen delight

For the Tortilla: In a bowl, mix strong flour, water, salt, and olive oil. Form the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic, and let it rest for 30 minutes. After resting, divide the dough into two portions and roll them out thinly in a frying pan to make tortillas. 🌮

For the Filling: Spread a generous amount of barbecue sauce on a tortilla. Layer with a patty made from ground meat, rice, cheese, sausages, grilled onions, and bell peppers. Fold the tortilla to wrap the fillings, and cook in a frying pan until it's crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. 🍳

A Day of Relaxation and Open Conversations: My Date with My Amazing Boyfriend (Blog)

Hey everyone!

Today, I had an eventful day with my boyfriend that I couldn't wait to share with all of you. But before I dive into the wonderful date we had, let me recap you about my slightly sleepless night.

Last night, my high-school friend called me unexpectedly in the wee hours, still discussing about her breakup, and we ended up talking for a whopping 3 hours! While I was grateful for the catch-up and also to give emotional support to her, it left me a bit sleep-deprived. However, that didn't dampen my excitement for the day ahead.

My boyfriend picked me up at my place and drove for breakfast at this charming little place called "Panco Coffee" in Makati. The ambiance was delightful, and the food was divine. I opted for the mouthwatering beef brisket with rice, while my boyfriend savored the equally delectable charred longganisa with rice . This cozy café has now become our favorite spot for breakfast.

We both had been longing for a relaxing massage, so we decided to treat ourselves to one after breakfast. It was just what we needed to unwind and release all the stress from work and daily life.

After the rejuvenating massage, we wrapped up our day with dinner at a lovely Japanese restaurant. We enjoyed some delicious Katsu, and the ambiance was perfect for a romantic evening.

A delectable savory Katsu in Miso Sauce, a culinary masterpiece that leaves a lasting impression. Tender breaded cutlets meet the rich umami of miso, creating a perfect harmony of taste. Served elegantly with fluffy rice (I wasn’t able to picture the rice 😅), each bite is a journey through deliciousness. As for my boyfriend's order, while the name might have slipped my mind and also wasn’t able to take a picture of it, the experience of savoring the tantalizing dish together surely made the moment unforgettable. 😋

Throughout our date day, my boyfriend and I had an open conversation about my late-night talk with my high-school friend. I was amazed by his understanding and appreciation for my honesty. He mentioned how crucial it is to share such things because the environment around us can sometimes influence our thoughts and emotions. His trust in our relationship made me feel secure and loved.

I feel incredibly fortunate to be with someone who values open communication and cherishes every moment we spend together. Our date today was filled with joy, laughter, and relaxation. I'm grateful to have such a loving and caring partner in my life.

HOW TO CONQUER HIM |Style 6

Haru:

Canonically, we know the quickest way to Haru's heart is through water. It's been said that "Haru's heart is captivated" at the offer of water.

I think mackerel won’t conquer him per say, more than persuade him to do ALMOST anything, but making him a mackerel dish will make him happy.

If you don't like swimming... I'm sorry you're gonna have it rough. Not impossible, but it'll be harder.

Just take him out on pool dates and dip your feet in the water if you can't/don't feel like swimming.

Haru's also super loyal to getting along with the gang will score you some points (and if you don't what the hell are you doing? They're all lovely)

Don’t outright confess your feelings but be clear he’s special. He’ll be flustered as fuck but his eyes will do that sparkle thing.

Also respecting his "I want to be alone" moments will be very appreciated.

Show him what you're passionate for, he respects that a lot.

Makoto:

Makoto is pretty simple to conquer, but also arguably the hardest.

Like, he needs you guys to be super close and intimate just for him to develop feelings, he's not in for superficial relationships. So get close to him ASAP! Befriend him and show him you actually care.

Get along with his friends and family. And be good with animals, specially cats, obvious but please don’t forget. Tag along when he has to babysit his siblings, he’ll have fun.

Just spend time with him in a way that would be valuable. That's why I say he's the simplest yet the hardest.

But let's be more original, shall we?

Okay so this guy has a sweet tooth. So if you're a good baker, now's your chance because this guy loves chocolate and chocolate cakes.

Tiana's mom is a wise woman because the quickest way to his heart, is his stomach, believe it or not.

And he's a horrible cook, like, safety hazard level of bad (canonically only can cook sunny side eggs, what a baby) so cooking for him would make him so happy.

And teach him a thing or two, a cooking date would be nice since he's a domestic boyo.

He is a well-known scaredy cat, so protect him. Hold his hand and help him calm down, hug him or let him hide behind you, if he’s scared. He is baby, protect him.

Also, he likes to be helpful, so don’t doubt on asking him for help sometimes. You can ask for his advice, he’s an angel, we don’t deserve him 😭😭😭

It’s really mentioned (in DF and his song) that he values laughing with friends, so make him laugh, and with how lighthearted he is, it’s not really hard.

I AM CONVINCED HE IS A CLOSETED NERD/GEEK so watch show and play videogames with him, you both can have a superb time together. It’ll be your dirty little secret (nah, I’m kidding everyone knows but don’t tell him that).

He’s really easy to impress so any random skill you guys have will have him 💚👄💚 and think you’re really cool.

Rin:

Oof, he's a tricky one for sure. He's a romantic but he's so easy to embarrass when his feelings are on the line.

I feel like a random date would make him thrilled (but don't tell him it's a date... yet 😋)

Do things that are exciting: race him out of nowhere and without a warning, go to an amusement park.

Or go to a haunted house or to watch a scary movie, since he likes to play tough you can play scared and let him protect you… if he’s not too scared himself.

Just like with Haru, show him what makes you passionate about. Specially with Rin, whatever makes you excited, he’ll love to hear what you have to do with it.

If you’re good at poetry, write him a poet, he’ll probably cry but he’ll love it.

Tell him cool secrets and silly memories.

Surprise him and his yours. Show him a side of you he’s never seen.

Sousuke:

2nd boy that can be conquered with food. He enjoys a nice meal Tonkatsu (deep-fried pork cutlet), so he always would be down to go out for a meal with you.

If he cooks for you compliment his food, he’s really proud so compliments to things he’s good at will make him really happy. And also, have you seen his cooking? It looks so good! Compliment that shit up!

He's the only one you could be straight forward to without nearly killing him. He values that honesty and the courage it takes to admit something like that.

Respect his alone time, he needs time to refill his social battery.

Don’t let him get lost, I am convinced he panics internally even though he tries to play it cool which is why he ends up looking aggressive (like in ep. 2) and gets super jumpy (like in the OVA). And if he gets lots before hand go find him, nearby a food place.

Also, clearly support his medical process, getting to swim again was a do or die situation so he could use some help. Okay, no he doesn’t, but he’d really appreciate having someone hanging around and assisting him.

Rei:

Dress to impress! He loves aesthetic to dress nicely for him. I don’t he has a particular style he’s into, so whether you dress super fancy, all cute in pastels, like a punk with chains and ripped jeans, or something different, as long as you put effort into it he’ll love it.

You can’t go wrong unless you’re underdressing for an important event.

Teach him something, he likes to learn new things so anything he doesn’t know about will make him very excited.

He’s bad at music and art so if you can help him out to improve his already good greats. He will be super thankful.

Ask him to go to an art gallery. He would love those.

Ask him to teach you stuff, once he says “oh I know some theory about that…” and he will go on for hours. You’ll learn new things and have this boy with the head on the clouds. It’s a win-win.

Okay, I feel like he likes getting embarrassed… Like getting teased a bit would make him all flustered and giddy, being a little smartass with him would impress him and make his heart race.

But nothing that he loves more than getting praised, he loves that, feed his ego.

Nagisa:

Oh my god! This one’s easy!

Make him laugh, he thinks everything is funny so don’t worry.

Motivate him to study, he doesn’t like it but make it fun like trivia games or contests. He knows studies are important, so he knows he has to, but do make it fun.

Prank him. He will take on the challenge, and begin a prank war, but prepare for retaliation.

Even better, help him prank others (AHEM! Rei, mainly).

Go to haunted houses together.

Eat sweets together, go for an ice cream, buy a cake, go shopping at a candy store. NGL the Iwatobi-Cream Bread sounds delicious like, wow.

Have fun with him, help him support his friends.
