So last year I did the color wheel challenge......... only to change my art style a few months afterward 😭😭😭 I wanted at least ONE updated art of all the Paladins, especially since the past year has been a huge revamp for a few of them, so I decided to redraw my color wheel after my friend @/doodlebless started doing it this month!

I edited my template a little bit, but the original is by my friend @ravenwolfie97 :]

i love the small scene in the pub where ruby comes back after talking to kate

and she explains to her bf how being with the doctor affected her. how she's constantly on edge, worrying something might happened

and honestly i feel like we rarely get to see the companions that the doctor left behind or dropped off talking about how their adventures affect their life

i feel like we always get something along "it was the best", "they showed me things i never dreamt of seeing", and what not

but not the bad stuff, not the trauma. obv there are a few companions who u can tell are riddled with trauma and have talked about it. all cuz of the doctor like rory, jack, and mickey.

at least from what i remember which companion did cuz its always how great the doctor is and rarely calling out how they put everyone at risk

tbh what companion isnt traumatised but like i feel we rarely get to see them talking about how dangerous and life changing it is after u meet the doctor

the paranoia, unable to get on with your life, the impulsive decision to throw yourself in danger even if it kills you, the constant fear

"Serial Kisser Blake" is so funny to me cuz I imagine she's going full ninja-assassin with it. Like, she picks a target (Yang, Weiss, Ruby, etc) and just hunts them from the shadows. They feel eyes on them and suddenly they just mutter "Oh boy..." Then the lights go out, you hear rapid-fire kisses, and the lights come back on and the target has black kisses all over and is on the ground in a family guy-esk pose. Meanwhile, Blake's all "target neutralized"

If Weiss and yang become maidens together I’m gonna be so happy rip to winter and Raven I LOVE them but like… besties with magic…

I whole heartedly believe Yang was so glad sun went with Blake to wherever she was going because Blake “hasn’t slept or eaten in three days to catch one bad guy” belladonna cannot be left alone with an injury she will NOT take care of it properly

Also considering it’s framed as Blake left as soon as she was physically able and sun had to follow right behind her he probably wasn’t the one to tell Yang Blake left he’s just who informed everyone she left I like to think Weiss maybe got to wait till Yang woke up before she got dragged away by her dad or it was ren and Nora

I love that RWBY are like the face of the world defending itself because those are like THE most mentally ill children you should not be letting them make decisions but whatever it’s funny and the worlds ending anyway
