Had a dream that my family was going to Europe without me but it was all a rouse and instead they came back home and surprised me with a visit from a guy in guessing I was long distance chatting with and then got the warmest hug I’ve ever gotten which made sense because he was dressed like Winnie the Pooh (red shirt, yellow pants)

Dani: That slimeball!

Danny: Woah there, little lady, there is no need for that kind of language. Call him a fruitloop.

Dani: I'm sorry! It's just that Damian Wayne grinds my gears like no other. He totally stole my idea for the art contest!

Danny: Weren't you drawing Batman? That's like a really common theme-

Dani: I was drawing Batman being a protect spirit! Everyone else always paints him as a moster wating in the shadows, but I knew he's a kind soul! I painted him holding a laughing baby while smiling at it as his cape blocked snow from hitting them both! It took me hours!

Danny: What did he draw?

Dani: Batman holding a baby, lifting it up over his head and smiling at it. Keeping the laughing infant away from the flood. He titled it "Father's duty to protect a smile"

Danny: It sounds like you two are two peas in a pod-

Dani smacking her fist into her palm: I'll destroy him.

Danny: Okay that's a option too.

Meanwhile at Wayne Manor

Damian: She's got the prettiest blue eyes, sharpest of smiles and her art skill are out of this world. We even painted the same idea for the art contest. She's perfect Father, she's practically my soul mate!

Bruce: I don't know Damian. I saw the look on that girl's face. It's not the kind of look someone who is into you makes.

Damian: You just don't understand love. That's why your single despite having the ability to attract someone of my mother's caliber.

Y'all, I had the most affirming dream tonight. Like, I was smiling throughout the entire dream!!

I was at a mall with my brother and we were walking past a store. This guy who apparently went to school with us stopped us to talk a bit. (Mind you for this next part I'm a lesbian and dream rules don't care about logic or real world ways of interacting.) I sorta almost remembered his face and he talked to me in the way you do if you are pretending to sorta remember someone. But he definitely saw me as my brother's sister and that for sure wasn't the case in highschool. But he was sorta flirty with me and (if this happens irl it's assault and creepy and not ok, but again, dream world has no rules) pretended to do something to my face to allow him to give a peck on my cheek. All I could think about was how, even though I'm a lesbian, I can't help but feel validated and affirmed, and all of that was more important than my lesbian mind not wanting a guys attention let alone a peck on the cheek. I was smiling so much right then. :) (But for real my mind was thinking things like, don't tell him you're a lesbian, nor that you aren't interested in him at all, that was super affirming, Dani, and we don't want this feeling to stop abruptly with an awkward encounter.) So I turned slightly away and we started to walk away before we could talk any more. (And if something happened even close to this irl, I would be way more repulsed because that's too far even for a straight girl. I would karate chop a bitch. But it is fun to know I might let affirmation override my experiences...)

Well then we walked to more parts of the mall and I saw old friends from highschool, a group of girls I knew or hung out with. I wasn't sure if they'd know who I was or recognized me, but I made eye contact with Hope and she exclaimed, "Dani! You're here!" And they all greeted me and sat me down as if I had planned something with them beforehand. They were taking about a dress or clothing or something and we apparently planned to do something about affirming clothes or something for me. They were so lovely and supportive to me! One funny thing though, Hope says something to me when contemplating a type of dress, along the lines of, "I'm not sure, but this might lower your chance of reproducing." Or something like that, and I couldn't help but chuckle and think, well that ship has passed thankfully. And said something like, "well I hope so... Lol" (dream logic is weird. She wouldn't say something like this ever irl, and in context in the dream it wasn't a dig at my transition at all. It felt more like she was applying a cis mindset to me on something like she was forgetting I was trans. And in that, it was an affirming thought. Which is also interesting that my mind apparently sees affirmation as more important than the truth that might argue with it's logic. At least that's my take right now) anywho, I was smiling the whole dream and thought I'd share with y'all. :)

Thinking about how one of the most important motifs in Dany’s childhood memories is a seemingly nonexistent lemon tree. Or rather, a tree that her memory insists exists where it naturally shouldn’t. And thinking about how, in her last Dance chapter, at a pivotal moment of development, she reflects that while she wanted to plant trees and watch them grow, dragons don’t plant trees. But how funny is it that her narrative ancestor, Princess Daenerys of Dorne, left behind a legacy of planting an entire garden of trees — a place where children of all backgrounds could come and bloom within it? And then thinking back to Dany’s moment in Clash, when she comes upon a barren wasteland. A place that, despite its harshness, has many types of trees growing within it. For a brief moment, she considers staying to nurture and watch it bloom.

Sure, her childhood memories are false. But the lesson isn’t that she doesn’t belong anywhere because she dreams of lemon trees in Braavos, where they don’t exist. Maybe the lesson is that she can plant these nonexistent trees elsewhere.

Lemon trees don’t grow in Braavos, but Dany can grow them wherever she chooses to plant them. And this is something she will have to understand when the Long Night comes. Winter means death. It means the trees will wither and no new ones will grow to replace them. But Dany is the mother of dragons, and her life is tied to the very process of life and death, destruction and renewal. The Long Night will be marked by dead trees that bear no fruit. But that’s okay. Because Dany has spent her entire arc dreaming of trees where there aren’t any. And isn’t THAT the dream of spring?

Save Her

Guys I came up with a new DPxDC AU where we get Deaged!Dani(Ellie), Mom!Cass, and Dad!Danny.

"Cass... Are you sure you want to do this?" Tim asked one more time before he would put the last code in. He knew she was sure, more than willing to deal with it but he just needed one more confirmation before they all started what couldn't be stopped.

Cass stared at Tim, her face straight and her eyes firm without a hint of doubt. She nodded in his direction, despite the growing nervousness in her stomach for a second even with Stephanie squeezed her hand in reassurance and support.

Cass turned her gaze to the little girl, no older than thirteen, suspended in a tank full of green glowing goo and asleep. Her vitals showing up on screens near the tank coming from the wires that were hooked up to her inside the tank.

She said her name was Danielle Masters but had also said she wouldn't mind a new name once she was no longer just a clone but instead Cass's new daughter. She had only asked to include her 'dad', a Danny Fenton/Phantom, in her future naming decision too

Cass took a breath and said softly but determined "Save her."

Tim nodded back and entered the final code into the computer.

Basically-

Cass, while in Hong Kong, finds a destabilizing Dani.

Cass see's the desperation and fear Dani is in and helps as best as she can.

She manages to help but they both seem to know the next time this happens will be Dani's last.

Dani is very, very sick at this point and needs help even standing up.

Cass see's and remembers herself at this age and wants to help.

They do become friends and learn each other backstories

Cass goes to the one person she knows who might to be able to help with the destabilizing clone problem.

Tim, Tim is that person. (Because he's friends with Conner, and no doubt knows Conner's DNA and how it works, AND the fact he tried his hand at the whole cloning thing.... Tim told Cass everything once things settled down after his BruceQuest was done)

They fill him in on what is happening and he starts helping, mostly cause Cass asked and because "Clone rights!" (side note, he asked if its okay to tell Conner, when yes, Conner comes over and chats with Dani the entire time whenever he has free time) (the image of Conner sitting at her bedside as they chat is in my head btw)

Tim finds out the reason Dani is destabilizing so badly is because she's not 'complete', she needs a female donor technically because she's female not male (unlike Conner who is stable because he is male with male donors)

They find out that after trying to see of ways to save her that Cass was the closest that could donate her DNA (they also discover there might be a connection between ectoplasm and the Pits, they don't wanna run the risk of asking a LOA member) (If I remember right Cass grew around the Pits for a while and was even tossed in them after a fight with Shiva)

Tim also brings them news that Danielle's body is rapidly destabilizing due to her body/hormones trying to 'mature' her since she is at that age and she has less than a week.

Everyone knows there is no time to think of trying to save her in any other ways.

Tim says that if they do this, they have to technically 'remake' her body to the actual age she is (a couple months old/a few years old? Depends on the writer) and there was a high chance of her not remembering her old self. That the male DNA in her, the one that seemed to be the most is Daniel 'Danny' Fenton's DNA will be considered father DNA and if Cass does this, her's will be the mother DNA. (Vlad's DNA, because he would try to put his own in, would be 'pushed out')

Cass would become Dani's mother.

Both Cass and Dani talk about it.

Cass wants to help her, she had become friends with Dani and loves her like a little sister already but will try to love her as a daughter as well.

Dani wants to live an actual life.

They agree to it.

Tim sets everything up, Conner is helping around/keeping Dani comfortable/happy.

Cass told Steph and Babs whats happening and they're helping/being supportive once they find out everything.

Meanwhile Tim and Babs has Dick, and Damian go to Amity Park to find out whats happening there/bring Danny to her so they can explain what happened to Dani. (Dick and Damian have no clue why just yet but will find out when they get back, but oh boy is Amity a mess between the GIW, ecto-acts, crazy fruitloop mayor/villain ghost, and other stuff)

Cass and Tim tell Jason and he's helping Alfred (who basically already knows) set up a room for the newest arrival. Jason is gonna stick around if to just see Bruce's face when he gets called a 'grandpa' for the first time.

Duke takes this all in stride when told and just goes along with things now because this is life with the Batfam. He also helps with the room and keeping Dani company until the day.

Bruce was on a space mission thus comes home to find a new group of teens with his kids. One (with black hair and violet/purple eyes) is talking about a purple back gorillas with Damian and swapping vegan recipes, another (wearing a red beanie and has glasses) is getting into tech talk with Tim and Babs, a girl with red hair is talking classic books with Jason and giving Duke advice with school and stress, and another boy (one who could pass as one of his own adopted kids) is cracking jokes/puns with Dick, and telling Steph stories about his Rogues(!?).

Bruce isn't ready when Cass comes up behind him, nearly dancing in her spot and hands him something.

He is given a baby/toddler that looks like Cass but had darker hair and bright blue eyes.

He almost faints when Cass signs to him that he's holding his granddaughter, her baby.

He does faint when Cass notices the signs and takes her baby back before he falls over.

I had a dream.

It was DP x DC, and for some reason, the Justice League are chasing Danny all around the world, but they keep getting thwarted in increasingly funny ways. Like Danny throws his socks at them, they hit Flash and Superman in the face, and then they both crash into a wall. Stuff like that. It was really funny.

Do you think the dance of the dragons can be between Jon and Dany? It's hard to imagine why Jon would want to go to another war though after defeating the NK.

Do I think Jon will go to all-out war with Dany? No. The main "dance" is more likely between Dany and Aegon. Euron is up to some shit, Cersei is spiraling, Dany needs to rally her armies for an invasion, and Aegon's already started his. All these people converging is going to be an absolute mess, but Jon and the starklings will be too busy taking back Winterfell and rebuilding their home in preparation for winter. I suppose it all depends on what the order of events is. The show has them defeat the NK, then kill Dany, but the books might play out different. I'm not sure how grrm plans for Dany to die, as she could blow up KL, and then die in the long night as a sort of tragic "atonement" but idk. Either way, Dany dies in some other conflict or Jon/Arya/whoever takes her out quickly without going to war. Without dragons and Dany leading them, her Essosi forces are unlikely to continue the war/start a new one. Plus, the last dance ended with the hour of the wolf, and Jon will always be a wolf at heart. The only certain thing is House Stark coming out on top by the end 😉🐺🩶.

I personally don’t mind the reveal that Aegon the Conqueror was motivated by dragon dreams about tptwp/war for the dawn; I actually like it quite a lot. Mostly because I like how Aegon’s legacy basically becomes: the unification of the realm and its peoples (a wholly positive thing) AND the iron throne (which has become a symbol of war and destruction). Aegon brought the realm together, but he also created that stupid pointy chair. The irony is that this chair, made of swords from all over the realm thus being a representation of all the different peoples in Aegon’s new kingdom, is meant to be the symbol of peace and unity. But in the current story, it’s become the driving force of disunity. And now hundreds of years later, now that the real threat that Aegon dreamed of has actually arrived, the realm is much too focused on who gets to sit on the silly chair more than anything else. Which imo would fall in quite nicely with GRRM’s deconstruction of prophecy, how people interpret it, and the ripple effects from those actions.
