A comparison between old and new prints of comic books, part two.

You know, one thing I miss in the digital reprints is the way the dot matrix bled on the newsprint paper, it feels more pleasant to look at and it makes the pages look darker. While I agree that the digital restored pages look more detailed and the original speech balloons are kept (because comics published in Brazil were smaller than the original US prints, so the text had to be re-edited to fit the size of the page), the colors look brighter and it does not offer the same mood as the old pages.

Daredevil and Elektra VS the possessed Kingpin

Daredevil is fighting Kingpin who is possessed by the Demon of Greed. However, Kingpin is too strong for him, with or without the demon. Then, Elektra joins in the fight but she gets swatted aside by the demonically-possessed Kingpin. Daredevil tries to exorcise the demonically-possessed Kingpin with a cross but gets his hand crushed. Daredevil nearly suffocates by the possessed Kingpin who holds his throat in a chokehold until he gets a vision from his father who tells him not to give up the fight. Daredevil remembers the four out of seven demons who possessed his friends - Elektra possessed by Demon of Sloth, She-Hulk possessed by Demon of Gluttony, Ben Urich possessed by Demon of Envy and Wolverine possessed by Demon of Lust. Then, Daredevil gets himself together and manages to exorcise Kingpin with his prayers. Even though The Demon of Greed had left Kingpin's body, Daredevil is too exhausted to do anything. When Kingpin wakes up from the demonic possession, both Daredevil and Elektra are on their guard as expect him to beat them up until they find that Kingpin is begging for forgiveness instead.
