certain contingent of minsungers have been having an absolute time over the 2min duet since it was announced, just freaking out about it, lee knows being forced to do this, minsungs being oppressed, etc. etc. seungmin's an evil villain, lee know hates him etc. etc. want so bad was suppressed blah blah and the thing is- im not shocked, ive seen this behaviour for ages now and i expect it. whats offending me at this point is no one ever mentions han and seungmin's dynamic. like okay be a lunatic and hate seungmin and freak out about lee know writing a song, fine- why does han never rate a mention? why does respirator and its sweet little lyrics never rate a mention if we're talking about unit songs. also respirator was the song the company wouldnt release for a yr and both han and seungmin had to repeatedly bring it up so lol cmon now han and seungmin are cute enough to rate a mention, put a lil respect on seungsung now.

i'm not sure the extent to which these companies get revenue from these artists, i don't know if it's just streams or if other things like merch sales and youtube views contribute but quite a few of these artists' companies are being boycotted currently or in the near future anyway, so i would suggest you not buy any merch or watch youtube videos officially from them. this post has more info on downloading music, youtube videos (with subtitles), and the boycotts i mentioned so i hope you all will check that out too. tris @bandzboy has also been posting about and sharing twitter posts about zionism in music, especially in the kpop industry so i suggest you check out her blog as well

I found 25, 21 through this cover SEVENTEEN’s Dokyeom did! I really love SVT’s music, and DK is one of my fav idol-vocalists ever, I was immediately in love with the song after I heard it initially ㅠㅠ

He did another cover of a DAY6 song called Happy, that you might like!! DAY6 is a k-rock band as well so a lot of their music is very similar ;>

Also-also, you might also enjoy HYUKOH! My fav song of his is Wi Ing Wi Ing ^^ He’s a lil’ more indie but I think it’ll match well (or at least I hope 🫡)

I also found a diff song today that I thought you might enjoy! When I saw it translated, the title was translated to Foxes and Wolves, but that might be incorrect :’) 😭

I made this cat today while listening to HYUKOH's music so I am naming it after you don't mind me ehem-

Listening to HYUKOH makes me miss the spring breeze on my face. Their melodies are so natural that the strumming feels like waves and the beat is like mountains ever so forming underneath our feet. Listening to 'Tomboy' after 'Wi Ing Wi Ing' was sure a journey. I am glad the band got the recognition they deserved. Have you seen their Instagram account? They have a very different aesthetic and their photoshoots are awesome. Never seen an indie band prioritize visuals this much before.

I have no idea how you found Sirotkin because when I tried to do my research all I could find was more russian...and even more russian... Tho, their music is so atmospheric, almost lullaby like sometimes! Their latest release 'Walking Misfortune' is also pretty good if you want to give it a listen. I tried putting the lyrics through google translate but some lines are probably really poetic and I don't want to butcher it with poor translation :'D But believe me you'll understand the emotion just by listening to it (and thats the beauty of music isn't it?)
