Israeli occupation forces unleashed a military attack dog on a four-year-old Palestinian boy in the northern occupied West Bank this week.
The incident occurred during an arrest operation in Balata refugee camp near Nablus on February 4. The dog was unleashed into the Hashash family apartment, attacking 4-year-old Ibrahim Hashash after knocking him from his mother’s arms.
The dog tore his clothes and bit him repeatedly, causing profuse bleeding for about three minutes until Israeli forces intervened.
Ibrahim has been taken to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus, where he’s expected to receive plastic surgery to repair his injuries.
“Israeli forces routinely show complete disregard, and often contempt, for Palestinian children’s lives and safety. In a hyper-militarized environment where systemic impunity is the norm, kids like Ibrahim will increasingly be targets,” said Ayed Abu Eqtaish, accountability program director at DCIP.
Israeli forces systematically use military dogs to attack Palestinian civilians, including children, during military incursions into Palestinian cities and towns.
I just want to add, what could a child seriously do to the heavily armed soldiers in the West bank?? They're just doing this to fulfill sick and twisted fantasies and horrors.

dcipalestine: “Two children have been shot by Israeli forces and left paralyzed in the northern occupied West Bank.
17-year-old Amr Sweidan (photo 1) was shot in the neck by Israeli forces on February 13 in Azzoun, a Palestinian town near Qalqilya, according to documentation collected by DCIP.
An Israeli military vehicle rammed into Amr and another young man while they were riding an electric bike, knocking them to the ground. The young man fled, while an Israeli soldier struck Amr with the vehicle's door when he tried to stand up. Then, an Israeli soldier in the front passenger seat of the vehicle shot Amr from point-blank range while he was on the ground. Amr bled on the ground for about five minutes as an Israeli soldier placed his hand on his wound and told him, "Die, die!"
The bullet entered from the right side of the neck and exited from the left, resulting in fractures in the cervical vertebrae and spinal cord damage, leading to quadriplegia, in which all four of his limbs are paralyzed.
Kareem Sharaab, eight, (photo 2) was shot in the neck by Israeli forces during a military incursion into the Palestinian village of Awarta, south of Nablus, on December 2.
Kareem was standing with some of his relatives near his family's house at around 6 p.m., while Israeli forces were stationed about 15 meters (49 feet) away. During that time, a soldier came out from a military vehicle and fired a bullet at Kareem, striking him in the neck.
Kareem was transported by a private vehicle to the city of Nablus, accompanied by his grandfather. At the military checkpoint set up by the Israeli forces on the road towards Nablus, known as the Awarta checkpoint, Kareem's grandfather got out of the car carrying his injured grandson and attempted to walk towards the soldiers to pass through the traffic jam caused by the checkpoint. However, the soldiers refused to allow him to pass and asked him to place the child on the ground.
He refused to comply and continued walking until an ambulance met him on the other side of the checkpoint.
The injury paralyzed his legs and damaged the nerves in his left hand. In addition, his lung was struck by a bullet fragment, causing difficulty in breathing.”

Israeli forces and settlers have killed 36 Palestinian children in the occupied West Bank in 2024, including two United States citizens, according to documentation collected by DCIP. 117 Palestinian children have been killed in the occupied West Bank since October 7, according to documentation collected by DCIP, when the Israeli military began a full-scale military offensive on the Gaza Strip. In 2023, Israeli forces and settlers killed at least 121 Palestinian children in the occupied West Bank, according to documentation collected by DCIP. Israeli forces and settlers shot and killed 103 Palestinian children with live ammunition, 13 Palestinian children were killed in drone strikes, four Palestinian children were killed by missiles fired from a U.S.-sourced Apache attack helicopter, and one child was killed in an Israeli warplane airstrike.

Israeli forces have withheld the bodies of at least 31 Palestinian children since June 2016, according to documentation collected by Defense for Children International - Palestine (DCIP). Four of the children’s bodies have since been released to their families, while 27 Palestinian children’s bodies remain withheld by Israeli authorities. The rest remain in Israeli authorities’ custody, some for years, so their families are unable to lay their children to rest. That’s because depraved indifference to Palestinian life, even in death, is Israeli state policy.

Nihal Abu Ayash was wearing his football kit and carrying his school bag when he was shot in the head and killed after Israeli forces opened fire in the West Bank town of Beit Ummar.
The first bullet reportedly hit the 16-year-old in the leg. He collapsed, and as he tried to stand up, he was shot for a second time in the head, according to the schoolboy’s family.
“It was an execution,” said Ziad Abu Ayash, Nihal’s father. “There was no need to kill him. He didn’t have a gun, he didn’t have a tank. There is no excuse. It is a crime.”
Surrounded by mourners at the family home in Beit Ummar, the 62-year-old added: “I cannot heal. This pain will not leave me. The shock and the devastation will not leave me.”
Nihal was the 100th Palestinian child to be killed in the occupied West Bank since Hamas’s 7 October attack on Israel, according to the human rights group Defense for Children International – Palestine (DCIP).

By Prof. Gerald M. Steinberg
Throughout the 17 years since the Hamas takeover, numerous reports have been published and videos posted detailing the growth of the terrorist capabilities inside Gaza. The frequent clashes with the IDF exposed additional information on the terror network and command centers located under and inside civilian locations, such as hospitals, mosques, schools and residential buildings. In the course of the operation that began following the October 7 attack, the IDF and journalists have added to this information, posting numerous pictures and videos showing the links between the aid operations and Hamas installations.
UNRWA is the largest aid framework operating in Gaza. It employs 30,000 staffers, mainly Palestinians, as well as about 200 international staff members, many based in Gaza or periodic visitors. It strains credulity to claim that the heads of the organization were unaware of the Hamas activities under and in the immediate proximity of their facilities and residences. In fact, evidence indicates that UNRWA international officials maintained a code of silence and cooperation with Hamas and associated terror groups, including promoting their propaganda and incitement and training of children for terror. Many UNRWA teachers have participated in antisemitic social media platforms, as documented repeatedly by UN Watch and other watchdogs. (On UNRWA corruption, see “UN Aid Chief Quits Amid Probe Into Palestinian Refugee Program.”) In May 2021, following the 11-day conflict, the top UNRWA international staffer in Gaza was forced to resign after acknowledging that the IDF counterterror strikes had been “precise” and “sophisticated.” The logical assumption, to be examined in this documentation process and evaluation, is that other UNRWA officials would have had similar information.
In addition to UNRWA, at least 12 other UN agencies are active in Gaza, including UN-OCHA (the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs), the World Food Programme and the World Health Organization. A preliminary review of the history indicates that the officials and employees of these organizations also followed a policy of silence, and in some cases, directly cooperated with Hamas.
Similarly, UNICEF maintained direct and open cooperation with terror-linked NGOs, such as Defense for Children in Palestine (DCIP). UNICEF also provided medical services during the Hamas-organized violent confrontations along the border with Israel under the facade of the “Great March of Return” (2018-2019), which served as rehearsals for the October 7 massacre. In addition, UNICEF’s disregard for Israeli children targeted in missile attacks from Gaza, including those who were murdered, is another important part of the record.
The same questions and issues apply to documenting the terror-enabling activities of diplomats and officials from government aid organizations. The EU is the largest single financial supporter and aid donor to the Palestinians, and therefore likely to have been a major source of materials diverted to terror. In this context, it should be noted that the European Union’s Head of Delegation (ambassador) to the West Bank and Gaza, Sven Kuhn von Burgsdorff (2019-2023), met with officials of NGOs linked to terror organizations (see below), and in February 2022, participated in an EU-funded workshop “focused on the strategies and mechanisms needed to combat counter-terrorism policies, regulations, and policies (sic).” In July 2023, von Burgsdorff smuggled a paraglider into Gaza and demonstrated its use, declaring, “Once you have a free Palestine, a free Gaza, you can do exactly the same thing.” Three months later, the Hamas attack involved terrorists using paragliders.
The third category concerns leaders and employees of NGOs that operated in Gaza. NGO Monitor has compiled a list, based on UN financial information, of 70 NGOs that were active in recent years, and the total is likely to be higher. The largest, as measured by budgets and extent of involvement, include the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), CARE International, Catholic Relief Services, Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), and Islamic Relief. Many major donor countries, including the US, maintain a list of “trusted partners” whose activities and personnel are exempt from detailed oversight and review.

Not a convincing debunk. The reason why the DCIP sexual assault case from 2021 had renewed coverage in December 2023 is because that is when Paul publicly resigned and highlighted this case in the media.
it sounds like you want to dismiss this minor’s allegations outright (without responding to the actual treatment alleged in the DCIP case), but there has been pretty consistent coverage of abuse of Palestinian detainees, including minors, particularly in the past few years. these are all from this year alone
https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/2023/11/israel-opt-horrifying-cases-of-torture-and-degrading-treatment-of-palestinian-detainees-amid-spike-in-arbitrary-arrests/

Not sure if youre missing the point on purpose or just stupid.
It didnt have "renewed coverage", it had exactly zero coverage in 2021, that even blatant propaganda misinfo outlets like the electronic intifada didnt publish anything about it. You are connecting 2 dots (allegation of sexual assault and a raid) that were never connected prior to Pauls interview in December 2023 in order to form a sexy conspiracy. Pauls interview contradicts the publications of DCIP, so which one of them is not telling the truth?
The argument isnt about whether sexual assault happened or not and you know it. The argument is about the sexy little conspiracy you opened your statement with, connecting a raid to an investigation of sexual assault. You are engaging in whataboutism desperately trying to grasp at every possible story or angle to find "worse rape" (which is by itself an atrocious thing to do) than what had occurred on October 7th. You see, a Normal persons reaction to the mass rape that happened that day would be "holy shit, thats fucked" and not "well ackchually-", thats not normal. If your first, primal instinct is to start looking for "worse rape" to justify the shit that you saw then theres something entirely different that is wrong with you.
I will sooner trust my local methhead to make me rich than I will released palestinian terrorists and their accomplices when they bitch and moan about prison life when they get fully funded higher ed programs (in spite of a govt mandated ban, imagine that) and a fat pay for slay paycheck.

For anyone who thinks IDF/IOF is a "Moral" Army
These articles are not recent, so take all the time you want and decide what kind of Army kidnaps, rapes, violates, and tortures children, IOF is not an army, it is a US-funded terrorist organization.

Now that I'm back from work, I wanna address this in a post rather than a short reply.
Tumblr media
So for the first sentence "The Hamas is in war", I hope you excuse me grammatically correcting you whoever you are, no hard feelings towards you trust me.
So "Hamas is in war", maybe, I won't say yes, I won't say no, they're not my case.
My case is the Palestinians, they're not Hamas & they're the ones getting bombed in Gaza & in refugee camps, they keep on saying Hamas did this, Hamas did that, okay if that's your case but where's Hamas?
The ambulances bombed the past few days, where was Hamas in that bombing?
The Turkish hospital for children who have cancer, where was Hamas in that situation? It's very funny that when Turkey came out with "I'm with Palestine" the hospital got bombed.
So maybe Hamas is at war, but what does that have to do with the Palestinians who have nothing but rocks?
"A war against terrorism" forgive me for correcting your spelling this time but what can we do?
So let's define the word "Terrorism"
Tumblr media
So let's give some examples:
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
These are small examples you can get from a simple Google search & just for you, I got you western news outlets cause if I got you middle eastern, you wouldn't believe me, anyways now I ask you, who's the terrorist?
This has been going on for decades, not one year, not 5 years, not 10 years but decades.
Imagine I become in need for a place to stay, I got kicked out from my home, my neighbours don't wanna help me in fact they wanna kick me too so you a generous person offer me a room, I take your generosity as naivety & start taking more rooms, eventually kicking you out, not only kicking you out!
But I also kick at you, starve you, imprison you, kill your loved ones, leave you an orphan, kill your pet, how would you feel? How would you feel as a generous person and me a person who was in need and decided to settle in your house?
That's how it is, Palestine already existed before "Israel" was even a word, I suggest you Google Belfort's Declaration from 1948, it's a history lesson we're taught at 6th grade but westerns lack.
We also call it in the middle east:
"وعد من لا يملك لمن لا يستحق"
"A promise from those who do not have to those who do not deserve".
"Hamas' goal is not only to destroy Israel. They want to kill every person who is different as gay people. I am gay!"
I wonder who taught you that, who even gave you these ideas, is it because you think Hamas is a Muslim organisation so of course they want everybody dead? After all mostly that's what you've been taught.
So if you want a lesson from Islam, we're taught not to engage in homosexual acts & not to support them, we're not ordered to kill, or harm or anything for that matter, just not to support or engage in them.
But for you I wonder how would you feel if you discover that homophobia is huge in Israel:
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
So in conclusion, the Israelis your picking are not your "ally" & before you come at me, you have the links to read from Israeli newspapers.
I think this should be enough for you.

So tired.
The juxtaposition of the immediate western outrage for anything that happens "to Israel" and its subsequent willingness to ignore anything harmful done BY Israel is not even subtle.
But it's been like that for decades, so what else is new?
Tumblr media
Meanwhile:
Every year, hundreds of Palestinian kids are arrested by Israeli forces. According to Defense for Children International – Palestine, an estimated 500-700 Palestinian children are arrested every year by the Israeli military. While these detentions are referred to commonly as “arrests,” which imply legal authority or suspicion of criminal activity, it is important to note first and foremost that the children are being arrested, charged, and prosecuted in a military system – a military occupation that has been condemned internationally as an illegal occupation. Under the Israeli military legal framework, any soldier or police officer can carry out an arrest without a warrant, even against a child. In fact, according to DCIP, most Palestinian children are arrested on mere suspicion, without arrest warrants. Most of the children, around 55% of all child detainees, are taken from their homes in the middle of the night by masked and armed Israeli military soldiers and border police officers. These children are taken from their families, blindfolded, tied up, beaten, and moved to Israeli interrogation centers.
(taken from Mondoweiss)
And of course, then I saw the video of dead Palestinian babies who had been left to rot in their beds... I don't even want to go there to be honest...
I'm so tired.

Palestinian human rights organizations, together with Palestinians in Gaza and the U.S., filed a lawsuit in U.S. federal court against President Biden, Secretary of State Blinken, and Secretary of Defense Austin for the U.S. officials’ failure to prevent and complicity in the Israeli government’s unfolding genocide against them, their families, and the 2.2 million Palestinians in Gaza.
Among the plaintiffs, Defense for Children International–Palestine (DCIP) and Al-Haq are leading Palestinian human rights organizations dedicated to preserving and promoting the human rights of Palestinian people across the Occupied Palestinian Territory, consisting of the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and Gaza. In Gaza, the lawsuit is also brought by Ahmed Abu Artema, founder of the 2018 Great March of Return, Dr. Omar Al-Najjar, a 24-year-old intern physician at Nasser Medical Complex, and Mohammed Ahmed Abu Rokbeh, a field researcher with DCIP. These plaintiffs reside with surviving family members in Gaza, where they have been subjected to a suffocating siege, coupled with indiscriminate Israeli bombardment that killed six members of Ahmed Abu Artema’s family, including his 12-year-old son, five members of Dr. Al-Najjar’s extended family, and eight of Mr. Abu Rokbeh’s. All have been displaced several times in the last few weeks as they seek refuge for themselves and their families. Mohammad Monadel Herzallah, Laila Elhaddad, Waeil Elbhassi, Bassim Elkarra, and “A.N.” are citizens and current residents in the U.S. whose families in Gaza have been subjected to repeated Israeli bombardment by air, land, and sea. Their families remain precariously vulnerable to Israel’s continued direct attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure, indiscriminate bombardment, and its continued withholding of critical life supporting necessities of water, fuel, and electricity. Together, the individual plaintiffs counted over 100 members of their families killed at the time of filing.
On behalf of plaintiffs, the Center for Constitutional Rights, along with co-counsel Van Der Hout, LLP of San Francisco, filed the case against the three high-level U.S. officials for violations of customary international law, codified in the 1948 Genocide Convention and the corresponding Genocide Convention Implementation Act (18 U.S.C. § 1091) passed by the U.S. Congress in 1988.
Numerous Israeli government leaders have expressed clear genocidal intentions and deployed dehumanizing characterizations of Palestinians, including “human animals.” At the same time, the Israeli military has bombed civilian areas and infrastructure, including by using chemical weapons, and deprived Palestinians of everything necessary for human life, including water, food, electricity, fuel, and medicine. Those statements of intent – when combined with mass killing, causing serious bodily and mental harm, and the total siege and closure creating conditions of life to bring about the physical destruction of the group – reveal evidence of an unfolding crime of genocide. Immediately after the launch of Israel’s unprecedented bombing campaign on Gaza, President Biden offered “unwavering” support for Israel, which he and administration officials have consistently repeated and backed up with military, financial, and political support, even as mass civilian casualties escalated alongside Israeli genocidal rhetoric.
The lawsuit situates the unfolding genocide within a history of Israeli actions against the Palestinian people, starting with the Nakba in 1948. It sets out how defendants Biden, Blinken, and Austin have not only failed to prevent the genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza but have helped advance the gravest of crimes by continuing to provide Israel with unconditional military and diplomatic support, coordinating closely on military strategy, and undermining efforts by the international community to stop Israel’s unrelenting and unprecedented bombing campaign and total siege of Gaza.
The plaintiffs are filing this federal complaint for declaratory and injunctive relief asking the court to declare that these U.S. officials have failed to prevent genocide and are aiding and abetting genocide, and to order an end to U.S. military and diplomatic support to Israel. The lawsuit is accompanied by declarations from leading experts in genocide and the Holocaust and a preliminary injunction (PI) motion, which seeks an emergency order to prohibit any further U.S. military and diplomatic support to Israel while the case is being considered.

🧐 … what the hell does it matter to the UN, the USA, the EU, etc? More and more, their inaction proves that their authority, their agency is just for show!! Oh how fake have they all become!!
By: LaillaB, founder of ‘Reclaim the Narrative, on LinkedIn …
“Palestinian children, like adults, face arrest, prosecution, and imprisonment under Israeli occupation, military detention system, even for simply collecting veg! … 🥕🥔
Since 1967, Israel has operated two separate legal systems in the same territory. In the occupied West Bank, Israeli settlers are subject to the civilian and criminal legal system whereas Palestinians live under military law.
Israel has the dubious distinction of being the only state in the world that systematically prosecutes children in military courts that lack fundamental fair trial rights and protections.
Israel prosecutes between 500 and 700 Palestinian children in military courts each year.
Since 2000, Israeli military authorities have detained, interrogated, prosecuted, and imprisoned approximately 13,000 Palestinian children, according to estimates by DCIP.
Ill-treatment in the Israeli military detention system remains “widespread, systematic, and institutionalized throughout the process,” according to the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) report Children in Israeli Military Detention Observations and Recommendations.
Children typically arrive to interrogation bound, blindfolded, frightened, and sleep deprived.
Israeli military law provides no right to legal counsel during interrogation, and Israeli military court judges seldom exclude confessions obtained by coercion or torture.
3 out of 4 Palestinian child detainees experience physical violence at the hands of Israeli forces;
🔻59% were arrested at night
🔻86% were not informed of the reason for their arrest
🔻97% had their hands bound
🔻89% were blindfolded
🔻75% were subjected to physical violence
🔻58% were subjected to verbal abuse, humiliation, or intimidation during or after their arrest
🔻54% were transferred from the place of their arrest on the floor of a military vehicle
🔻80% were strip searched
🔻42% were denied adequate food and water
🔻31% were denied access to a toilet
🔻66% were not properly informed of their rights
🔻97% were interrogated without a family member present
🔻55% were shown or made to sign a paper in Hebrew, a language most Palestinian children do not understand
🔻36% were threatened or coerced
🔻25% were subjected to stress positions
🔻23% were detained in solitary confinement for interrogation purposes for a period of two or more days
Despite various degrees of engagement by U.N. human rights bodies including the Committee on the Rights of the Child, the Committee Against Torture, the U.N. Working Group on Arbitrary Detention, as well as the Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Children in Armed Conflict, and numerous governmental and non-governmental organizations, Israeli authorities have persistently failed to implement practical changes to end its unlawful practices towards CHILDREN.

Sky News condemned for report on killed Palestinian child
SKY News has come in for heavy criticism after a report on a Palestinian child’s death called her a “three or four-year-old young lady” who was killed after a bullet “found its way into the van” in which she was sitting. Outrage has greeted a clip of the report, which has been widely shared on social media. LibDem peer Meral Hussein-Ece was among those to condemn the footage, saying the reporter’s use of passive language suggested “journalism is finished”. The video shows Sky News reporting on the death of Ruqaya Ahmad Odeh Jahalin, who was killed by Israeli forces in a shooting near the Palestinian village of Beit Iksa, in the central occupied West Bank, on January 7, according to the Defense for Children International Palestine (DCIP).

the allegations against Hamas are being brought up bc the released Palestinian hostages have recounted the sexual assault they’ve faced.
it was only 3 days ago that Christiane Amanpour interviewed former state dept exec Josh Paul over his resignation. In that interview he said after Defense of Children International Palestine came to them with credible evidence that the iof raped a 13 year old boy, and the state dept followed up, the iof shut the DCIP down and called it a terrorist organization.
