Some of you are still in weird denial about the relationship between the Doctor and Rose.

Seriously, I just saw a post saying that the Doctor opened up more to Martha and Donna than he ever did with Rose. That is like, flat wrong. Flat. You don't understand perspective - the nuance of their story. The in-between-bits we infer but don't get to see on screen and the implications of their comments and comfort toward each other.

Do you people realize that the first thing he did was take her to destruction of her planet, to share with her that his planet is gone and he's the last one left? Do you realize that she's the first one he travels with after losing that planet, and how much that must mean?

Do you people realize that Rose tells stories of traveling with the ninth Doctor that we never, ever get to see? These things still happened, are still canon, which imply a great amount of time that isn't on screen?

Did you notice how close the Doctor, Rose and Jack become, despite having literally only two episodes together before they get chucked into the Game Station? Those three did not just travel to two places, folks. That could have been months, years, that are just between them.

Do you understand the implications of Ten's song after he regenerates?

Do you really not notice how Rose specifically refers to their first trip as a date, and how he doesn't deny it? Do you realize that, in The Impossible Planet, the Doctor implies that he would live with Rose on the slow path, and that he'd like it?

Do you honestly think that they don't talk? By Doomsday, Rose is learning how to fly the TARDIS.

Here's a thought. Established on screen in The Parting of the Ways, Rose says she doesn't remember how they escaped the Game Station. If that's true, how does she know that she's the one who turned the Dalek emperor to dust? How does she know?

We never saw that happen, but we didn't need to see it. There is an entire relationship worth of conversations over breakfast and hugs goodnight and trips to space markets for trinkets and coffee that we don't need to see to understand that their relationship was deeper, open and more honest than what we get to see on screen.

Ten opened up to the audience via his conversations with Martha and Donna on screen, but he was only able to do so then because he got to do it behind the curtains with Rose first.

anyone who says tdp "ruined rayllum" can meet me in the denny's parking lot. i will truly never believe that the writers broke up rayllum (physically i mean) just as a plot contrivance. this is not me defending my favorite show and my favorite ship; i genuinely believe this was the right move. even when i was young and dumb and first heard about an arc 2 i was like "pff rayllum isn't gonna break up," and yet in the back of my mind i was just wondering how are they gonna pull this off? like i loved them and i know they loved each other and they were sweet little babies blah blah blah but you cannot sit here and tell me that the two 15 year olds who went through a whole shitload of trauma and grief together and who were already killing themselves for each other out of hopeless devotion within 2 weeks weren't bound to crash and burn. people seem to forget that rayla didn't simply decide to leave just because; she was being tormented by her unresolved issues and could not stand to be in that place anymore, no matter how much she loved callum. of course she left because a) that's all she's ever known and b) because they couldn't last (how they were, anyway). rayla and callum had grown to rely on one another so much that they needed time to grow up on their own, and now, well...

there is no better way to test love than to put it through the ringer and see if it survives, and rayllum not only love each other just as much if not more, truly understand each other on a whole new level despite having been apart for so long, and now are back together and stronger than they've ever been. it was entirely logical and frankly inevitable for this to happen, it was a natural progression for the story, and it has made them better.

if you say something like "oh but he obviously doesnt like her back" ?? to US it's obvious that he doesnt outwardly reciprocate her feelings, but to her whenever saiki ignores her, thats just how he is to everyone.

to her, theyve gone on multiple dates, and theyre in the same friend group, so its totally reasonable for her to have some hope still.

They'd be so perfect bro. The autism duo who understand each other. Out of everyone who Laios is shipped with he's the only one that has never looked at him like he was subhuman! (I love the cast but they be making my boy feel lonely sometimes) the only thing close to that that Senshi does is give him the fluoride stare but that's just how he is most of the time so it isn't personal. And you can't even deny, out of all of the possible combinations, Senshi is the only one with a 0% chance of saying a single ableist thing to Laios. Partly because he knows the struggle but also because he doesn't operate on society's expectation of normalcy. He doesn't feel like how people talk, walk, and/or act should be dictated by the norms other individuals set and thinks it's foolish to think of people as inhuman simply for something like a difference in behavior.

NOW ONTO THE SHIT THAT MAKES THEM ALIKE IN WAYS I EAT FOR BREAKFAST.

Laios as well as senshi confirmed geek over the monsters and the different ways to prepare them. So if Senshi ever wanted to initiate anything romantic-like he'd woo Laios with that good monster food. But realistically if they ever had crushes on each other neither would really know because they themself's wouldn't even really sus it out.

So Chilchuck would be in the room looking at them and with his 75 years of experience(joke) he'd say some shit like: kiss already😑 while lazily and haphazardly sharpening one of his lil daggers. And then once it clicked it would be "mind activation" for both of them. Then they'd start the awkward mating ritual. This of course being painful to look at for Marcille, runs away everytime she even thinks they're going to interact.

Said mating ritual involves: talking about anything that comes to either of their mind with each other until they're throats get so dry they can't physically speak anymore(I got autism and I'm very comfortable with one my friends so this actually happened)

Doing the complete opposite and being able to sit in complete and utter silence while still looking like they're communicating (they on that telepathy shit)

Understanding immediately when one or the other isn't up for something or if they don't feel like talking to the others but don't know how to voice it.

Imagine other people in the dungeon look at the two and think they're acquaintances because of how nonchalant they talk to each other only for one of them to do some the most romantic shit out of nowhere then go back to being chill.

The looks of bewilderment would be insane.

How do you envision Keith and James’ first kiss happening? 🤭

Ok i had 2 options that i heavily debated between because the timeline differences were pretty significant and changes actually quite a lot

1) when they were still cadets in the garrison. Keith had already made a habit, a routine even, of sneaking to James’ dorm. Whether that be because he was bored, because the thunder was making him uneasy, or even simply because he missed him. He spent so much time in James’ dorm that James probably pretended to lose his keycard just to get a copy to give it to Keith. It makes sense, then, that their first kiss would happen in James’ room, under the covers and the darkness, hiding from the thunder (Keith knew it was childish, but he also knew he was more afraid than embarrassed and he knew that James would be the only person to never judge him for it or even bring it up. He’d just stay under the covers with Keith and entertain him with old movies on his phone). They kissed, or maybe they didnt, and they never brought it up again. Somehow, this is the kinder option.

2) on the Atlas after Keith had come back and made amends with James. Six excruciating years where James waited faithfully for Keith without even a hint that Keith even loved him back. Never had Keith kissed him before him, never had he even told him he loved him verbally. But to James he didn’t need to; he saw it in how Keith looked at him when he thought James wasn’t paying attention, in how he’d always wordlessly shove his hand into James’ under the table, their adventures together, gazing at the stars (an activity Keith hadn’t done with anyone else since his father). But these all could easily be written off as tricks of the light, as misinterpretation, and this ate away at James for all those years. Six years with no solid confirmation that the person he was waiting for even loved him back, was even alive. And when he did come back, it still took him the weeks (months?) until the Atlas was airborne for Keith to even say “I love you” back to him. James felt giddy like he was a teenager again. Who could blame him? He’d waited so long on what could only described as a delusion. They kissed in the hall, in a less travelled part of the craft around a corner, away from prying eyes. James felt his own dogtag (that Keith had stolen six years earlier when he was first expelled) around Keith’s neck. Keith gave his own dogtag back to James (to replace the one James had thrown into Keith’s empty casket all those years ago).
