Taking a break made me realized how my practice is intertwined with my mundane life. Anytime i see the sun i'll be "oh, hi Apollon, hi Helios ! have a good day" or when i hear the rain drop on my window "hiiii Zeus, love you", i'll pray each time i do a fire in the wood stove, i'll pray each time i take a shower, i'll pray each time i make food (or at least say hi to Hestia)...

I had to do a break because i focused on Athena and Hermes for a time while working on practices exams and it was overwhelming, i got through so many mental states and emotions during this week (because i asked for changes and i got them, but it was heavy.). Now i wish i'll be able to get back to my commonplace journal and my other journals for them but i'll also take my time. I always act like if they're gonna leave soon, this is exhausting.

I’ve had nightmares for three days straight of a great fire, one that rivals that of the burning of the Alexandrian Library, I can sense Hypnos can sense my distress, and since, I’ve had calmer dreams, better night sleep, and overall feel better. He is the silent comfort when you’re upset, he is the one to wipe your tears, he is the one to give you headpats, he is the one to give you a sweet night’s sleep.

Falling in love is driven by many things, chemistry being a big one, but mind, soul, spirit , fascination, respect, desire all blend together to create a particular effect, that of focusing our attention on another. We look to the other, we note their posture, scent, curve of muscle and bone. We strive to understand their emotional state and the movement of their thoughts. These things are endlessly fascinating. prayed to hera (i always pray to her first tbh..)

chatted briefly with hermes about helping us get the car we want. he wants a cloud in exhange?

notes: i know venus is the romanization of aphrodite, however whenever she appears for me, she prefers to be called venus. she says she just thinks its prettier and more fitting for me specifically<3

i am finding so much comfort in laying my problems with the gods, its truly relieving to have a higher power and to feel less alone and so loved especially being gifted at multiple forms of clair-sents or whatever you'd call them. its comforting to call and actually have a response whenever im lonely, to feel their touches (it feels like phantom touches, sometimes more physical if im heavily sleepy) and to see them within my minds eye hovering around me and doting on me when im having a bad day.

its also strangely sad how my connection immediately changed and strengthened to the gods and spirits whenever i decided to definitely let go of someone who is no longer good for my path. i am sad. i will grieve. this is the right choice i am affirmed again and again. i am thankful both for their time and for the reminder to let go when its time to let go and that when i feel my most alone i have the gods to turn to

new theme how are we feeling

The toothpaste protagonists of the new Fire Emblem game have grown on me somehow, probably cause I’m always a sucker for the underdog. Something about the art style just feels very... not Fire Emblem to me, but I’m not sure why! I can’t tell if it’s because it seems more aggressively anime looking then the previous entries (larger eyes mostly, and just the eyes on the women characters; honestly I think all the guys look mostly fine besides the prince dude’s outfit) or the lack of character portrait art. From what I’ve seen on the Japanese twitter, they seem to be relying ENTIRELY on the character models for emotion. Which is fine really, but I think that might be why it’s giving me more of a Genshin Impact vibe, along with the flouncier clothing.

Aphrodite recently left my practice. It was sad (these sorts of things always are), but it wasn't a surprise.

I was working with her to help with family stuff and self image stuff. As she left and I said I'd miss her, she told me I was in good hands.

At the time, I thought she meant I had learned the skills to handle things myself, and that was probably largely true.

But her leaving also lined up pretty exactly with this weird transition point where I seem to be actually building a new support system and found family (and yes, it's stressful in its own way, but that's mostly my anxiety talking), and I'm realizing that might also have been what she was getting at.

And I don't know if I have any more insight there. It's just. Something.

Cashmere: she’s anxious about being cast aside if she isn’t useful, always walking on eggshells and going out of her way to be of use! She’s like the ultimate people pleaser.

Trinket: his adopted family raised him to be happy and free, so like for most of his life he was very carefree and like living his best life, they raised him to be kind and curious and he still is deep down, maybe, but not anymore

"A Dream or A Vision?"

Dear Diary,

is it just me or am i dreaming? Or hallucinating? Last night I have this strange but amazing wondrous dream. I saw myself in a mysterious ambient land. The surroundings is filled with serene plantation, fascinating meadows, upland mountains, overflowing lakes and falls, beautiful wildflowers, trees that are so tall with lots of vibrant leaves. There is much things in this place I'm so curious about...

What was this for? I may ask..I don't know why I'm seeing this...?

Then suddenly I saw a creature wearing a beautiful teal colored cloak covering her top. She's also wearing this elegant pale cyan, mint tulip colored dress. She seems like standing a bit further away from me. She looked at me with a smile. She looks like a human like me---but...that's what I thought...

I smiled back, but no clue what and why is this creature seem strange...I tried walking closer to her, and I was surprised of what I saw and found out. She have a horn on her forehead like a unicorn. Her body is half human like.

I didn't expect to see such a being. After seeing her she immediately left and I tried to chase and go after her thru the area,

Although I woke up, back to the waking world. Goodness...what a dream...or is it something else? That mythical creature I saw why is she showing herself to me? Was it telling me something? I don't understand.....but still... What a curious and strange experience...

I'm just a normal girl... studying in University and I love, adore and believe in magical, mystical creatures are real...

That dream...I want to see it again... I have the feeling this isn't the last I seen her..."
