If I were a writer at a big game company working on a sequel to a beloved series and the higher ups kept telling me to make the game shittier and kept sending my work back to me to be dumbed down even further somehow, and then once most of the writing was done they laid me and my coworkers off illegally without severance, I'd probably gleefully watch as people trashed the shitty game that shipped.

PLEASE i need harry wilson and sophie devereaux romance NOWWWW. like obviously theyre not sophie/nate whirlwind romance meet-ugly soulmates but like. she catches him stealing the rembrandt. she tells him about her journey becoming a better person and watches him try to do better. she’s kind to him and he’s kind to her AND to her family. he’s bonded with their team in his own right. she takes off her ring while she looks fondly after him as a symbol of how she has progressed enough through her grief that she is capable of living life beyond nate. they’re both a little bit bi. he points out her blindspots like how she used to do with nate. she’s the first person he goes to when the team unearths something of his and he needs to be honest. they aren’t equals but they are partners. they share quiet moments of humor and comfort. he apologizes to her first. they ask each other for help. they both know what it’s like to love someone as one person and become another after they lose their partner - one way or another. theyre both parents trying to do better for their kids after they reconciled. and most of all they LIKE each other.

Current Personality Quirks Of Devotion/Devastation Passive Nightmare:

• Consistently gets names wrong. Spite.

• Enjoys the outdoors, day and night, but there are days where NM’s magic is sensitive and hurts (the degree of pain varies) due to the sunlight. The moonlight is enjoyed more often due to it not provoking migraines and burning bones, but NM enjoys both equally when his magic isn’t being a jerk. The reason as to why his magic is so adverse to sunlight is currently unknown. ;)

• Is more proficient at magic when directly compared to his brother, despite the difficulties he sometimes has with the pain.

• Enjoys cooler temperatures in general due to his personal perception of pain feeling like heat/lava. Still enjoys spring and summer, just not the unforgivingly hot days with no relief from hot flashes. (My dude needs to learn ice magic, methinks.)

• While he has a preference towards less/loose clothing as to not smother himself, Nightmare does occasionally need to dress like a grim reaper just chastised for showing an ankle in order to stave off the worst of the sunlight pain/migraine. (Yes, it is dark clothes. Yes, those retain more heat then lighter colored clothes, or so I’ve heard. But as unpleasant as the heat gets, he’s more worried about the light.)

• Dream has more stuffies then Nightmare, and is more flagrant about showing off their existence. Nightmare has less in total, but more general discretion. Nightmare prefers silky and satin-y and slippy textures. Loose. Not suffocating. Dream prefers fuzzy and soft and fluffy and warm and heavy. The nest is a fucking mess but somehow they’ve made it work for them ig. (And apparently I can’t keep them separated even in my drafts that’s how co-dependent they are.)

• Pathetic in the physical department. Nothing that hinders his day to day life, but exercising regularly? Yee-haw fuck no. Bro tries to run for five minutes? His acoustic meatus are ringing and his vision’s fading and he’s sweating bullets and he’s on the floor and he’s on the verge of unconsciousness :3 (it’s FINNNNE Dream gives him an unlimited supply of piggy-back rides when he doesn’t have an ATTITUDE it’s finnnnnnnne)

It never even occurred to me how it would feel to read fics where Hannibal gives up hunting for Will.

actually VERY significant to me that the caps dont just hand each other the post-win gold chain theyre putting the chain on each other like .theyre hooting and clapping and barking and then at the end of all that two of them will come together and one will bend his neck and the other will slip the chain over his head and the whole room erupts and everyone is a god and everyone is a supplicant and theure goign to the CUP!!!!!!!
