It's been a long while since we've seen that hair style!#Something old - in the way you see a little glimpse of a boy that died a long time ago #Something new in a man who has a new direction and purpose. Somehow it is still you. But you can't ever be that *you* again.#I think grief comes from a mourning of futures we lost. We associate it with love-#-but what else do we mourn if not the future we had with them? So too do we feel grief over the future our past self once hoped for.#I love the radish extra because it is so sweet and so full of small sorrows.#WWX is as playful as always with A-Yuan but there is a constant presence of how he no longer sees a future for himself.#Be it in the way he talks about the impossibility of him having children.#Or in the way he creates this silly and artificial game of helping A-yuan grow-up faster.#It's always about the moment to moment with him. Tomorrow isn't guaranteed.#His major hubris moment has yet to come but I would strongly argue that the seeds of doubt were already gestating.#It might be a bit of a 'ship tease' moment when WWX comments that his idea kid would be more like LWJ than himself -#But I consider it to be a true (if unconscious) sentiment that he sees himself as having gone down the wrong path.#It's not a 'I want LWJ to have my kids' moment. It's an 'if I were to have kid - I'd want them to never know what I went through.'#WWX is the parent that breaks the cycle. He walked for 10km through the corpse piles everyday and by god he's driving you to school.#LWJ is also a cycle breaker parent but in the opposite direction. He packs chocolate chip cookies and extra snacks in your bag.

I feel like there's quite a few different things that could work in that scenario #he has wit in terms of smarts & snark & whimsy. he was part of a movement that opposed tyranny and valued freedom. back then he wanted #to protect innocents. he's charismatic and good w/ people. he was a loyal friend to solas and later on was loyal to briala. he's calm and #level-headed. steady. a slow arrow makes its way to its target/goal slowly but steadily and you dont see it coming #Wit.. Loyalty.. Friendship.. Freedom.. Steadfastness.. Charm.. Protection.. Resolve.. Duty #my personal hc atm tho is- if he was- Guidance ◕‿◕. “'I kindled nothing' Felassan said. [...] 'I merely offered guidance.'"#he spent the rebellion guiding an army as a General and giving Solas guidance on how to be a good leader interact w/ people be the face #of a rebellion and to stay on the right path as one of his advisors. later he was Briala's hahren/elder giving her guidance through TME #he signs codexes like ask for the slow arrow and i will help/guide you. he was looking after those of flesh and fade in the lighthouse #guidance can be given from both a second-in-command (subordinate) role and from a superior (elder to mentee) role #when we see him in a memory Solas welcomes the spirits in elven then says “lasa ghilan” which means grant/give guidance #and the very next thing that happens is that Felassan speaks. an Arrow gives direction. it POINTS THE WAY..

can I just say this? the desperation in Helena is showing now. distractions/big gestures and gifts (pool club, big party, we'll just replace the things etc) are HER forte and Eddie buying the ps5 was challenging that. but Chris doesn't want a distraction and asked Eddie to return it so EDDIE can stay. so now it's a direct rejection of her method and whatever happens next, she has to match Eddie's actual parenting if she wants to hold Chris' attention. Eddie actually talked to Chris and discussed a situation, sat with honesty. it's the parenting he had in LA, the one Helena has not seen. and she can't match THAT. so what now.

Hi hi, it’s the same anon that asked about the Zoro math headcannon; I’m so glad you agree!! I like to think if the crew ever remembers for a little while, Nami uses that skill in order to have zoro pay off slivers of his Beri debt lmao. He deserves a win sometimes.

Also yes, two olives can certainly find directions easier than one mossball!! Lmaooo

I do wonder how Sanji is always able to find Zoro with relative ease compared to the rest of the crew�� even the resident navigator has more trouble than the cook on that front, which is funny to think on. Any thoughts on how Sanji does it? And on what the two of them are like on the walks back to the ship/their crew?

I like to think it’s just Mr. Prince’s side quests part 2 electric boogaloo, and whatever (possibly embarrassing) things happen on the way stays between them alone, hehehe. That’s just me tho.

So i’m still at long ring long land and so far i’ve seen zoro getting lost on a Litteral Straight Line on WaterTM and Sanji rightfully giving up on him, but honestly they probably understand each other’s mind on a level that makes it extremely easy for Sanji to try and recreate Zoro’s way of thoughts when taking his steps towards the backrooms

i changed my mind, disregard previous posts. girldad lawrence clears actually.

#decided this subplot is good and makes sense for him tbh #its deliciously hypocritical to adore a little girl whose future he has a direct hand in destroying by refusing to give up on new bethlehem #lawrence is at his most compelling when he's caring for a woman/girl in his life who is (or will be) directly impacted by his policies #but he's too much of a reformist to admit that the best thing he can do for the women he loves is to cede power #and he's so staunchly reformist BECAUSE has never yet been willing to cede that power BECAUSE he's a narcissist #he wasn't even willing to do it for his wife who he clearly loved more than anything #but paternal love is so different from romantic love & it means developing a willingness to give up anything for your baby #and i think angela was the only thing that prompted lawrence to give up power after he found out he was headed for the wall #like 100 percent by the end of the season he would have killed himself regardless of whether he had known angela or not #but it was probably because of her that he stayed in gilead risking the wall instead of taking the simpler path by defecting to canada #he would've stood trial in the ICC either way; and helping mayday wouldn't have built any credible defense #and at the end of the day nothing encapsulates lawrence better than being a selfish egomaniac at the expense of his loved ones #i think i was put off by that relationship at first bc it makes him appear too woobified for my taste; which i still believe to an extent #but the characterization this subplot serves is worth more than what audience woobification syndrome does to him imo #the handmaid's tale
