Hi! Are you in the Blackice fandom too? Sorry, I know I’m probably being so random to a bunch of you in the fandom, but I just joined and I’m obsessed! This seems like a rather small fandom at this point, not too many people are in it, are they? Anyways, happy to know at least some people are in the fandom!

Any tips you could give me about black ice art/fics/blogs/content/etc would be greatly appreciated!

The fandom is quite small, but I think that makes for a better experience honestly. :) More cozy, more personal, easier to get to know and support each other! IN FACT. Also @madam--mark actively makes lovely blackice art in such an expressive style! And @froggyfeetsies has some really sweet and hilarious blackice! For fics, both of us tend to like the more fluffy/fun variety with Pitch and Jack being a badass power couple (who are also disasters) getting into all kinds of shenanigans. 😂To rec just a few: 

PLS check out Five Veils and a Heartbeat by BurrrdBrainedInsomnia. Royal AU that has a bit of a dark premise but totally flips some common tropes around. It’s so refreshing and the dynamic between the boys is just fun and cozy and I JUST WANT THEM TO KISS ALREADY. 🤣 Also check out their other fics. They write blackice in all kinds of flavors. :) AND THEY DO ART SOMETIMES! THE WHOLE PACKAGE RIGHT HERE! @stuffdone 👈

To Dream of Respite by shipwreck. Modern AU with ace!Jack and it’s SO good. Just. Totally compelling, emotional story. Highly recommend. 

The Device has Been Modified by Lindzzz. Their evil boyfriend series was great but this AU is so cute! Jack is an AI accidentally made by Pitch! Chaos ensues!

Just a little sharing backstory moment to my last post 🙂❤️ before I get back to my scheduled crackhead energy 🤣🤣

I am a clown, 100%, and I love it, but I appreciate all forms of writing and art and all that stuff. The post I just did I guess in a way is a slight bit of a "self-deprecating" joke I suppose 🤣

Around 2-3 years ago I wrote for another fandom, very similar stuff that I do now in this one, I made people laugh, I met so many lovely and great people, it was so wholesome and amazing for a while, and I really enjoyed being in that fandom, I wrote for it for like a year, but I ended up having to leave it, because it turned out to be one of the most TOXIC fucking fandoms I have EVER encountered.

Towards the end I found out there was a literal discord server dedicated to hating on me, ran by a girl who was ALWAYS in my DM's being nice to me lmao, she also happend to be a writer in that fandom too, and the discord server consisted of her and alot of the other Serious writers in the fandom..And they fuuuuuckin hated me 🤣 I only found out because one of the serious writers ended up having a huge fall out with the main girl after the girl doxxed her, and she told me about it and sent me screenshots and apologised to me for ever being invovled lmao, (swear to god I wish I was making this up because I know how dramatic it sounds haha) so I yeeted myself out of that fandom, deleted my account and everything. And I haven't been involved directly with a fandom ever since, until now.

This fandom so far is so nice💚 and I'm really loving it here 😊 when I did my first thing here, I ALMOST wasn't going to hit post, from having horror fucking flashbacks to the last fandom haha but I'm glad I did.

secret romance novelist jason is an au i have where jason writes chart-topping bestseller romance novels under a pen name in his free time and nobody but babs (his beta/editor/publisher who found out by accident) and alfred (who read one of jason's pride and prejudice fanfics that he left out when he was 13 and recognized the prose in the novel) know. steph is a huge fan and keeps trying to get jason to read these books with her 🤣 shenanigans ensue :)

Oh no I listened to Remember Them because it autoplayed after I read fluffvoid's ask about Survive and went to relisten (which OW PAIN I didn't know that was canon 😭) and got slapped upside the head with inspiration. I wasn't planning on an origin story for my Hermes fic but here we are I suppose. My brain really heard "Remember them, when the fire begins to fade, for the broken and afraid" pointed and went THAT. THAT RIGHT THERE. THAT'S THE THING. USE THAT. 🤣

It has devolved into more teasy ler Odysseus shenanigans because he sees more and more of Polites in her as he gets to know her and an accidental tword is the straw that broke the camels back, as it were. He can't tell her about Polites yet, even though he and Eurylochus are feeling the same thing about her since she's new and the wound is still fresh. (It starts someplace after the end of My Goodbye but before Storm, while they're at sea)

Instead he's content to enjoy having someone who reminds him of his friends light for even a moment and playfully bully her like he once did Polites.

Also! If we want to create a lil Discord server or group message to talk about tword Epic things and freak out together I'm so down 👀 Only if ya'll would want to though; no pressure ❤️

I could see Jewel bowling! It's fun and straightforward. I project onto Jewel too hard so some sports (*cough*American Football*cough*) she doesn't get at all, no matter how many times Tangle explains them lmao.

As for Bean, I'm sure the Hooligans are banned from at least one bowling alley for explosion related shenanigans. It's the same size as a bowling ball, more or less, no one will notice! (Everyone noticed lmao)
