But HSMTMTS removing Kourtney from the “female protagonist best friend” label to give her solos, a great plot and screen time was the the best choice ever made. The show improved a lot on Season 3 because of it and how they switched the dynamics to make it equal for the ladies and you cannot change my mind on that.

A handful of iconing tips & tricks that you may or may not already know.

Always lock your aspect ratio when scaling icons!

Don't scale your icons up- at least, not without a dedicated upscaling program / service. Upscaling with most programs' transform tools will look messy. Try to get the highest resolution scans / images you can and scale down.

Set the filter for your program's scaling tools to bilinear. I'm sure there are other options that get clean results, but whatever you do, don't set it to nearest neighbor, or you'll get crunchy / pixelated results. ( if you want pixelated results, I suggest using a filter instead. )

Windows often come with a free program called Snipping Tool already installed. You can bring up the snipping tool by pressing the Windows key + Shift + S at the same time, and set it to take caps of your screen, individual program windows, or a rectangle you click and drag. I recommend using the lattermost option.

You can also set snipping tool to automatically save any of your screenshots to a dedicated folder, though you will need to launch the program itself to access those settings instead of using the hotkey. This makes gathering caps quick and seamless- just click & drag away!

Many video players will let you use the , & . keys to go through the video frame-by-frame. Helpful for capping icons from animated sources.

You can use some programs' features to save your icons out all at once, layer by layer. What steps you need to take in order to set that up depends on your preferred program's capabilities, but I've made a tutorial for how to do it my program of choice ( Krita ) over here!

One day you're gonna use a figure from mythology/religion as a secondary character in your story thinking he's nothing but a basic bitch practically nameless guy and then one day when you try to make a ranking system you'll find out that actually that character represents your zodiac sign in some circles, then in an effort to clarify what the hell happened there you'll find out he has another name that denotes that he's a SUPER big deal and also has another-nother name that's EXACTLY the same as your online pen-name and then that their power somehow perfectly fits the power system you've made for this story and then randomly you'll also find out that someone else used this character as the base for a DC character (Yes the comics) and you'll basically find some of that information in one night and then the rest over the next three years after the initial discovery and then one night three years later you'll find out something new about it that says that the original name you picked is actually this other big-name guy who's the entire leader of a rank that you ignored initially when making said ranking system and

Discovery having one of its mains be introduced in the first few episodes as a total irritating dickheaded asshole, and instead of going in the 'develop them slowly into being a nice person' route they actually choose to have him genetically modify himself with tardigrade dna which not only made him Really high, but also made him a much nicer person*, is so funny, still, years later.

*it also made him capable of travelling through space on a mushroom network rainbow road kinda thing but that's not the point here
